Chapter 14

- Paveletzky Train Station - Moscow -

Shirou sat on the bench of a train platform with a contemplative look. His grey eyes were closed, eyebrows furrowed, while he thought of his next move for this war. This Holy Grail war wasn't normal and he knew it because he saw who the Berserker-Class was all along. He had reported it to Waver, who then formulated a plan. He had called one of his friends from the Clock Tower again and it was the reason why he was here on this train platform.

He was waiting for the other Magi's arrival.

"We might have an upper hand if he's with us. He's a Mage Bounty Hunter, after all." Waver Velvet said as he approached the man. Two cups of steaming tea were in his hands. He handed over the other one to Shirou, who accepted it. The train station was almost silent because there was only a handful of people at the station, roaming around. The train, carrying their reinforcement, was scheduled to arrive in the early hours of the morning.

"Are you sure, Waver? I mean, with him being summoned as a Servant, this would not just make be difficult, but this will certainly rock the world of Magecraft." Emiya took a sip of his tea and sighed deeply in worry. "I don't know what the Mage Family of Animusphere will say to the UN. They're planning to bring forth their project to the world so that the normal folks will know what Magecraft is. Plus, mankind will have a foothold in terms of power and protection in case another alien race, just like the Viltrumites, attacks Earth."

Waver sat silent for a moment, his face thoughtful, before he took a sip of his tea. "I think it's better for us to finish this messy situation before we assume what that Mage Family will say to the UN. The Animusphere family is not that simple-minded, Emiya." The Magi said in an informative way making the other Magi look away. "However, this is certainly alarming, which is why I called him." Waver took out the pocket watch and flipped the cover open.

00:01:24:00:00

We only have one day. The Magi thought in grimace as he rested his back on the bench. Just then, a loud train whistle echoed throughout the station. The two Maguses looked to their left and watched as a train pulled up along the station before careening to a loud stop. The doors opened and the once empty platform was immediately engulfed by a sea of passengers exiting the train.

Emiya and Waver observed the crowd from the bench, looking for the man that they'd called. And then after a minute, they saw him. A tall man stepped to the platform and breathed the stale air around him. He possessed long shoulder length auburn hair, a scarred face and a muscular frame. He was clothed in a black jacket made from leather and animal hide, over a brown shirt, and black military-like pants and boots. Shades were covering his eyes, but the two men knew he had sharp eyes with a noticeable serious gaze.

He glanced at them and then made a dangerous smirk, showing his sharp teeth. "Waver, it's been a while." The newcommer approached with his arms wide open. Waver took a step back, slipping away from him and avoiding his hug.

"It's been a while, Kairi Sisigou. Still smoking that cheap brand of Taiwanese cigar, I suppose?"

"Bah, you know me." The man named Sisigou Kairi only let out a hearty laugh, then his grey eyes shifted to Shirou and his grin widened more. "My, look how you've become, Emiya. Still donning that 'Village Knight Hero thing,' eh? You're browner than before and your hair...you've become a grandpa!"

"Thanks, for the notice...Shishigou-sensei."

"I told ya, don't call me that. It makes me look old." Kairi said in a jocular manner, making Emiya laugh in happiness. Kairi Sisigou, other than Waver, was Shirou's teacher when it came to magical combat. Thanks to him, he had become what he was today, a silent hero who helped people.

"So...why'd dya call me, you two? I thought this Holy Grail war was under your control." He shifted to Waver and asked, "Is there a problem now?"

Waver and Emiya looked at each other before the long-haired magi answered him. "Kairi, it's better we talk along the way."

The three Maguses were now inside a taxi, traveling down the busy downtown road of the City of Moscow. Waver was discussing everything with the Mage Bounty Hunter, whose face drew a grave, somber frown. He was sitting across from them, his arms crossed over his chest. "Shit...this is fucking serious." he finally commented in disbelief.

"Indeed, those words are enough to describe our current situation." Emiya said as the Bounty Hunter hung his head on the back.

"So, the news and rumors are true. A Vultrimite has become a Master and joined a legit looking Holy Grail War. What's more...the Servant that he had summoned isn't what it is supposed to be." Kairi said and the other two nodded. The Bounty Hunter let out a depleted sigh. "And the other Master is the infamous Trollhunter, huh? Such a young man to bear such a title and had done lots of amazing feats."

"Correct. It's sad that he was dragged into this war, just so he could win the Holy Grail and rescue his friend, only..." Emiya explained with a somber tone as the Bounty Hunter shook his head in disagreement.

"Have you told him the truth about the Einzbern Grail?" he asked as the young Magi nodded. "Poor sod then. Must've been completely devastated." Kairi looked outside the window, watching the buildings passing by and then an excited grin formed on his face. "Well, can't wait to meet him. I'm a big fan of him since he is the one who brought down the Arcane Order that I had been hunting for many years." he said with eagerness. He clearly couldn't wait to meet the kid.

-Inside a Motel Room-

The alarm from Jim's wristwatch rang loudly throughout a simple motel room. The boy was laying on the bed, but he wasn't sleeping. Both of his eyes were open and were looking straight to the ceiling, showing nothing but grief. He felt his Servant walk beside his bed and turn off the alarm.

Saber cast her dolor look at Jim. Ever since they arrived and checked into the motel, the Trollhunter hadn't spoken or slept very much. The sorrow from learning that the Grail wouldn't cure his friend, that all of what he had done was put to waste, had hit him hard. Jim. Saber didn't like the boy when he was like this. She mustered up her courage and spoke. "Jim, it's time for breakfast. Please stay here. Rin and Ishtar will guard this room."

The boy looked up to her. The blonde's voice had snapped him back to reality. He quickly sat up and stood. "I can buy, Saber. Don't worry, I'm fine." he said, feigning a small smile at her.

No, you're not. The King of Knights wasn't buying his smile. The boy had heavy eye bags under his eyes and he was a bit pale. He clearly wasn't fine at all. "No, I can buy it. Please stay here." Saber said adamantly, and walked towards the door. But before she could, the boy took hold of her hand. The Servant stopped in her tracks and glanced over her shoulder.

"Jim?"

"Please stay, Saber." Jim said, but his voice suddenly went weak. His hands shook and the Servant felt it. The boy was scared and she understood why. He didn't want to be alone. He needed someone to lean on again.

Jim. "As you wish then." Saber said serenely. She led the boy to the bed and sat beside him. The two sat in silence, their ears filled with the soft humming sound of the radiator. Jim's head hung down to his chest. His face drew a woeful frown. Saber noticed it and she sighed deeply in strong intent.

This mustn't go on. The Servant glanced at the table where the pocket watch lay. Its cover was open and it showed the timer of the next round.

Time before Third Round:

00:01:20:05:50

One day "Jim, I know you're sad. But you've done everything for your best friend. You've fought for him valiantly. You've tried to restore him and his honor. Your best just is isn't good enough, but you're a good person and a good friend to him." Saber said tranquilly, attempting to cure her Master's despair. The boy glanced at her and showed his blue eyes, both orbs turning teary and filled with anguish.

"Saber- I tried, I really, really tried...Why does this have to happen to him and to me?" The boy leaned on her and cried into her shoulder. Saber tightly, but gently hugged him as the boy sobbed more. "What should I do now...when my best friend isn't going to wake up anymore?" he asked, breaking the words between his mournful snivels. The question made the Servant wear a remembering look. It was all familiar to her. It was the same question that she asked herself back on that day, on the battle of Camlann.

What should I do...now that I'm going to die?

The memory played painfully in her mind, and yet her face was solemn. "Jim, do you know how I became a Heroic Spirit?" she said as she looked at her Master. Jim didn't move, but she felt his cries had softened to a whimper. "When I was on death's door, the 'World' appeared before me. The 'World' offered me a contract, which would give me a chance to fulfill my wish." She paused and brushed Jim's hair.

"My wish was to go back in time and undo the selection of the King. I'd hoped that I would achieve my wish. But I was wrong." Jim finally looked up to her face, a curious frown forming on the boy's lips as the Servant continued. "I realized that, if I went back in time and undid the selection, Britain wouldn't have a good king and wouldn't survive against the invading Saxons and the wrath of King Vortigern. It is my fate to suffer the pain of being a King, and so I moved on and accepted it...because if I didn't, then how would I move forward?"

The King of Knights stared down at Jim's grieving eyes, a look of resolve forming on her face. "Jim, I know it's painful, but sometimes you have to accept destiny, no matter how cruel it is. If Toby is meant to die, then he will die." She paused as her smile shifted into a kind one. "However, death is never the end. Remember him, remember all of the good memories you have of him, and he will live forever inside your heart."

Forever... Jim couldn't imagine a world without his best friend. It made him feel even more scared, but then Saber said to him. "Even if it's cruel and unfair, destiny is a gift. Some go their entire lives, living existences of quiet desperation, never learning the truth. A burden pushing down upon our shoulders…" Wait...I know this. Jim stared at Saber. He knew the words that she was telling him. The sadness in his heart slowly ebbing away as the King of Knights continued, "Is actually a sense of purpose that lifts us to greater heights. Never forget that fear is but the precursor to valor. To strive and triumph in the face of fear is what it means to be a hero. Don't think. Become." Saber said with pride in her voice. Jim slowly moved away from her, light returning to his eyes and the colors of his skin brightening as the despair inside his chest was completely eradicated.

"That's my speech." Jim remembered the words. It was what he said before he charged towards Belroc. The memory made him cast a serene smile, which was what Saber was looking for. Finally, she could see a breakthrough on the boy's misery.

"Jim. The only thing that you can do is to move forward, continuing on living in pure happiness and joy. Toby wouldn't love to see his friend sad and suffering. He would love to see you smile again. So, please don't be sad. You're his hero. At least give him one last glimpse of your heroism. Give him hope."

Jim listened to her voice and he understood her. Toby was his good friend. It saddened Jim that Toby was in a coma and that he would never wake up again. However, Jim could still move and he could still be happy. Toby may die, but he would continue living inside Jim's mind. Saber was right. Jim was still live tp fight for another day. You're right, Saber. "Saber, you're correct. I can still fight. I am a Hero and I shall live as one forever, for Toby and for the world." A steadfast look formed on his face, he stood up and looked to his Servant. "Saber, thank you. I don't know what I would do without you."

Saber grinned at him with pure bliss. The Trollhunter had returned to being who he is, a Hero to her eyes. "Welcome back, Jim." The two looked at each other as the air around the room lightened. The heavy downcast mood was completely gone and was soon replaced by a determined one. The two had reached their resolution and they were ready to battle once again.

Just then, the door made a loud knock. The two looked as the door opened and the familiar figured of Rin and Ishtar loomed at them. "Oh, good thing you two are here." Rin said with gladness as Ishtar glanced at the two.

Ishtar noticed the renewed mood of the Master and Servant and it made her smirk. "Well, what did I say? He did recover."

Rin noticed it too and she crossed her arms over her chest, smirking with excitement. "Well, you sure are one strong person, Jim. I like you." she said with truthfulness as she took out her phone and looked at the screen. "Waver wanted us to meet him in the diner below. Breakfast will be his treat." The Magi walked out of the room, followed by Ishtar, who yawned and stretched her arms up.

"Now, what expensive cheap foods can I order in a diner? I'm so excited."

"Your stomach is endless." Rin commented without care, making the Goddess pout in anger at her.

Jim and Saber looked at each other before they laughed in joy before the King of Knights extended her hand at Jim. "Jim, shall we go?"

"Thought you'd never ask me that." the Trollhunter said as the two exited their room.

Jim and Saber entered the diner and were greeted by a cushy ambiance. The restaurant was all American themed. Neon lights lined the ceiling and bathed the whole room in a warm, orange hue. The Trollhunter walked behind Rin. He looked in front of him. Emiya and Waver were sitting at a long table with another large man on the right of the Magi. The man was large and scary looking. His black jacket seemed to be made of animal skin. The boy gulped and stood in nervousness. His scared face shifted and bore his shades at him. Jim could feel his sharp eyes looking straight at him.

"Ooh, is this the famous Trollhunter?" he suddenly spoke with a praising voice.

What the hell? This man is intense...just like Varvatos Vex. Jim recalled one of his friends who had a similar trait, only this man was scarier than him. "Um, hi." he said weakly in tenseness as he and Saber sat down beside the stranger. Ishtar and Rin sat across from them while Waver introduced the man to Jim.

"Jim, this man is Kairi Sisigou, a Mage Bounty Hunter. He will help us."

"Damn right, son. By the way, big fan of your work on the Arcane Order skirmish. That was cool." Jim couldn't help but blushed on the man's compliments. He wasn't expecting to be well known outside of Arcadia. However, with someone from the outside, praising him, Jim felt very relieved and relevant to the world.

"Um...thanks, Mister Sisigou-"

"Oh, come on now, having a 'mister' in my name makes me look old when I'm just thirty-four. Call me Kairi, instead." Kairi said in a friendly way. Jim smiled at Kairi, gladdened by the elder man's friendly attitude, which contrasted to his scary look. The group then ordered food and began to eat their breakfast, exchanging some casual conversation along the way. Jim and Saber glanced at each other's smiles as they liked each other's company.

After the hearty breakfast, all of them walked back to the room where Jim and Saber were previously in. They arrived to the main point of the day, a meeting of strategy on how to finish this Holy Grail War. Just as the door closed, Waver sat on the chair beside a window with his cigar already lit up. Emiya stood beside him while Rin and Ishtar took their places beside the door. Kairi, on the other hand, walked over and settled beside a small fridge and TV. A cheap cigar of a Taiwanese brand was on his lips. Great...Jim and Saber were sitting both on the bed. The boy couldn't help but feel a bit of cringe. The sweet yet repugnant smell of both cigars were so strong to his nose.

"Now then, let's start the meeting. First thing's first, we have an Einzbern Homunculus on the loose and she's the one who stole the Clock Tower artifacts. She also started the Holy Grail War." Waver started with a serious face. He took a whiff of his cigar and puffed out smoke.

"However, this Homunculus, though it may look like her, isn't really the Illya that I know." Emiya added, a troubled grimace formed on his lips. "She introduced herself as 'Illyasviel von Einzbern II,' which leads to Waver's conclusion...that she's another version of Illya."

"An abandoned spare homunculus," Rin answered, her arms on her chest as she leaned on the wall and continued. "This spare homunculus has, somehow, acquired access to a 'puppet body' from none other than Touko Aozaki. The Einzbern must've ordered puppets from her before, and she used it at her disposal." Jim looked at her, a questioning look on his face. The name must have confused him, so the girl explained to him. "She's a magus that specializes in creating real-life moving puppets and she's completely neutral."

"Yes, so neutral in fact, that it's to the point that she's willing to sell her goods to the enemy in a heartbeat." Waver said with knit-brows, clearly upset after hearing her name. Jim understood his anger and made a nervous smile at him.

Kairi puffed out smoke from his mouth before speaking. "And then the Einzbern girl must've acquired a sample of Waver's hair during the Clock Tower thief incident. They used that hair on another puppet which shaped up to his image. This fake Waver then interacts with Jim and the Viltrumite Hero, Mark Grayson. And thus, the Holy Grail war started."

Indeed. However… Waver lowered his head as his brows furrowed more in thinking. "They said that the Holy Grail War needs Seven Masters in order to anchor Seven Heroic Spirits in this world...However, based on Emiya's investigation, he only found two."

The Magi looked at Emiya, who nodded and said, "The only Masters that I found are Mark and Jim. There are only two Masters in this war."

What? That doesn't make any sense. Jim frowned in bewilderment. "Wait, what about this Einzbern girl and fake Mr. Velvet? Aren't they Masters too?"

Rin shook her head. "They're puppets, Jim. Puppets don't have magic circuits to power the command spells, thus they're ineligible for contract."

Emiya nodded in agreement. "Servants could be summoned to this world without Masters. The invocations that the Einzbern had made for summoning were so simple that even a non or poorly trained Magus could summon a Heroic Spirit. Some can even exist even without Command Spells to anchor them." the magus terrorist explained and closed his eyes in deep thought. Well, at least as far as I know.

Kairi extinguished his cigar on the ashtray beside him and addressed the other problem. "By the way, are we going to address the other 'panda' in the room?" Everyone looked at him with a dumbfounded expression. They were all clueless to what he meant and it made the Bounty Hunter sigh in chagrin. "The 'elephant,' the other problem – the Viltrumite Master, Mark Grason, aka Invincible. He became the Master of Berserker Servant and he wreaked havoc on Venice."

"Indeed," Ishtar finally said before she snorted softly. "That man hurt Jim very badly over his stupid oversimplified wish."

Emiya's expression changed into an urgent one. "His wish is to eradicate the ability of every life-form to do evil. It sounds noble, but...it is dangerous."

"Yeah, he doesn't know that the Lesser Grail isn't that omnipotent." Rin said with seriousness before she shifted her eyes to Waver. "Waver, I don't think capturing him is viable any longer. He has gone completely down the rabbit hole of the Holy Grail War. We should kill him the next time that we see him."

Kill him? The Trollhunter lowered his head in sadness. A memory of the Hero flashed in his mind. Invincible was in pain from guilt and shame as he hurt Jim. Mark was clearly desperate to fulfill his wish. He only wanted a peace between all life-forms, wanted it so evil could no longer run rampant. His wish was noble, but the Grail, on the other hand, was wrong. Then there's one thing to do for him.

"Mark isn't the bad guy." The Trollhunter uttered without pause, making everyone glance at him. "He's just lost and sad. He fears that the Viltrumites might hurt humans again while the humans might scrutinize the alien race to the point that the two species will engage in another war. His wish isn't a selfish one, and I don't think he's ever selfish." he explained with affinity in his voice. A kind and understanding smile formed on his face. "No, Viltrumites are not inherently born bad, and Mark was a proof of it, which is why…" His kind face shifted into a resolute one as he added with valor on his voice. "I'm going to save him. I'm going to save Invincible."

The group were stuck in their places for a moment, but then Ishtar was the first one to react vehemently. "What!? Didn't he just try to kill you!?"

Rin pressed more. "Exactly. Look, just because you're a Hero it doesn't mean you're meant to rescue everyone."

"I'm not doing this because I'm a Hero." Jim replied calmly at the two, making them both stunned by his words. "I'm doing this because I'm human. Mark is also human. He has friends and loved ones. They must be missing him. I'm just going to bring him back." The two women wanted to deny his words. However, a soft chuckle reverberated from Emiya. The man smirked at the Trollhunter. He was astonished at what Jim was saying, though he had also been expecting him to say such a thing.

"Rin, Ishtar, Jim is right. We should all try to save Mark. He is a lost hero, after all." Emiya nodded in agreement.

Just then, Kairi exhaled sharply and an excited smile spread on his lips. "That's the Trollhunter for you. You're a classic backwater village hero type of guy." The Mage Bounty Hunter crossed his arms on his chest before he proudly said. "Guys like you, Jim, are so rare these days. I'll support you on this."

"Thank you, Kairi." Jim said happily as the room's atmosphere lightened a bit.

Waver, having heard everything, made a single nod as a smirk also appeared on his face. He acknowledged the words of the Trollhunter, a goal now forming in his mind. "Well, that settles it." He stood up and fixed his glasses over his eyes before he declared. "This is no longer just about stopping the Holy Grail War, but also rescuing Invincible. Is everyone ok with that?" All of them looked at each other. Rin and Ishtar made synchronized their tired sighs, giving up their rebuttal against Jim's proposal. Kairi and Emiya, however, smiled in agreement. The men loved what the Trollhunter had said. Saber glanced at Jim and said with confidence. "I shall support you, Jim, no matter what, for I am your blade."

The Trollhunter smiled at her encouraging words, his spirit riling up. It was all clear to Waver. The group was ready to save Mark, the Invincible.

- S.S. The Third Magic -

The night was already deep and the full moon above was already high. The light shone brightly in the ruby eyes of Illya 2, who was standing on the deck of her yacht. A look of reminiscence was on her face. Her mind was travelling deep on memory lane, remembering many memories that her ancestor had gained from before.

With this, my purpose will be fulfilled. She thought and a sad, longing smile appeared on her face.

"Illya, the circle is complete." the voice of the fake Lord El-Melloi cut through her concentration making her slightly frown. She turned around and saw the puppet version of the Magi standing behind her. The homunculus strode passed him and looked down. The wooden floor of the deck was riddled with a large ritual circle that was so familiar to her. She grinned menacingly at the ritual summoning circle.

"We are far from the main activation site and the nearest Ley Line is underneath this bay." It's not enough to summon them. The girl thought hard before she cast her eyes at the other Puppet. "You know what to do. Goodbye fake 'Lord El-Melloi,' even though you were born from my mana."

"Of course, Illya-2." Lord El-Melloi II kneeled on the deck and put both of his hands on the circle. And then, the puppet began to glow. Glittering blue and white lights emitted out of the Puppet's skin and those lights moved towards the ritual circle. The ritual circle began to glow a blue light as the Puppet drained the mana inside of him. Eventually, the fake Lord El-Melloi II let out a sharp snap inside of his body before plopping down to his side.

His eyes became glassy again as the mana inside of him was completely gone.

"What happened to him?" Mark asked as he entered the deck and saw the lifeless Puppet beside the glowing ritual circle.

Illya 2 beamed her happy smile at the Hero. "He has fulfilled his purpose. He drained the last of his mana into the ritual circle."

Oh, poor him. Mark looked down at the puppet before he picked the lifeless frame up and put him on the chair while the girl eyed him with curiosity. The Hero was already wearing his costume.

"How is your costume? I repaired it myself."

"It's good, Illya 2. You did a terrific job."

The girl giggled at the man's praise. She then cleared her throat and then looked at him with a sincere frown. "Now then, did you memorize the plan?"

"Yes." Mark replied with a funereal tone in his voice. Illya 2 turned around and walked towards the table where two black boxes were placed. She opened both of them and take out their contents. The box on the right contained a rusted, but gold-colored metal fragment that looked like it was a part of a crown from a long-forgotten king or emperor. The box on the left contained nothing but a charred looking knife, its blade black as night.

The girl brought the items to the center of the ritual circle and put them in the center. Can I do it? Mark looked at the two items before he shifted his eyes back at Heracles, who was standing silently in the corner of the deck, watching the two of them with his lifeless, golden eyes.

"Can I do it?" Invincible suddenly asked with concern, making the girl stop and cast her eyes at him. "Can I really control them even when I still have him?" The Hero pointed at his Berserker Servant. The young homunculus nodded her head.

"Yes, you can. Even though Viltrumites have low defense against magic, they possess huge amounts of mana inside their bodies. For some reason, you can't cast it in the real world, but perhaps with enough training, you could become a great mage, Mark." Illy 2 explained making Mark form a sheepish smile on his face.

I'm not planning to be a mage, so no. Invincible then walked to the edge of the ritual circle and raised his hand over it. "I shall begin." he said and Illya 2 took a step back. Mark calmly breathed in the cold air and then exhaled sharply before he began his chant.

"From the Ring of Deterrence, heed the call of the Grail." The ritual circle suddenly pulsated and a gust of wind started to surround him. "Come forth and become my Servants – Rider and Assassin Classes!"

His voice rose into the crescendo of an authoritative one as he called the classes of the Servants that he wanted to summon. He felt a burning pain in his left hand, which made him glance at it. Two new tattoos slowly etched into his skin. One was placed on his knuckles, the shapes of three triangles with sharp edges, and one on his wrist, which was composed of three jagged lines that looked like daggers.

Now what do they look like? Mark focused his eyes with interest as the wind strongly pushed him. The lights clumped into a pair at the center before it suddenly burst. The Hero shielded his eyes with his hand as the light suddenly disappeared. "Is it done?" he asked as he slowly lowered his hand and looked at the ritual circle.

The sight left him stunned. There were now two new figures present on the deck. The Servant on the left was large and had a thick, inhumane body. The other one was small and lanky. The Servant on the left was huge, its skin was light blue and it was adorned a blue cape on its back. Its legs were stumped and its head was belittled by its pair of horns that protrude from the back of its neck. A crown was on top of its little head while its hand held a large and beautiful staff. The Servant looked like a humanoid elephant and mammoth combined.

Whoa...what the fuck are you? Mark thought as he took a step back after the thing moved and raised his staff to the sky.

"I am Ivan the Terrible. Rider-Class Servant. Tell me...are you my Master?" The thing was a man with a deep, demonic voice.

Holy shit...Ivan the Terrible? The Russian tyrant, Tsar! Invincible couldn't believe that the thing was one of Russia's most infamous Tsar from the bygone days. Ivan the Terrible, the Tyrant of Russia who was known for his madness and cruelty to his own people. The hero then slowly turned to the other Servant. The other Servant was clothed in a black tattered robe and the only thing visible on him was a white skull mask.

Creepy, Mark stared at the black robed Servant before it stood up, revealing his true height. He was taller than Mark. It made Invincible take a step back again in nervousness. Ok, super creepy! He gulped down in fear as the Servant spoke.

"I am Hassan of the Cursed Arm, an Assassin-Class Servant. Are you my Master?"

So, the Assassin-Class is really made out of assassins, huh. I've no idea who you are though. Invincible wondered as he observed the Assassin-Class. True to his form, the man looked like a silent killer from the middle-ages.

"Whoa…" Mark muttered in disbelief and looked down at his two new command seals. This was the plan that Einzbern had made for him. He would become the Master of the two new Servants which would be sacrificed and used for the Lesser Grail. A satisfied smirk spread on his lips. He could feel that his wish would be granted soon. Finally...my wish will come true soon.

"Rider and Assassin, I am Mark Grayson, your Master." the Invincible Hero said with a steadfast look on his face. The pact was now finished and the Hero thought that his victory was secured. "The only problem is Jim and his Servant, but not for long." Mark whispered to himself as he closed his eyes and began to think of the next part of Einzbern's plan. Unbeknownst to him, however, Einzbern was looking at him with a dangerous grin on her face. The Hero was now dancing on her palm. She shifted her grin towards the Berserker Servant.

Heracles, however, wasn't smiling. A dark scowl formed on his face as he stared at Invincible, his eyes no longer lifeless and golden but of light blue and alive.
