So this chapter was my longest I have written yet, I'm pretty happy with it! I wrote out an outline for this chapter before I started writing to keep my thoughts in order and I think that definitely helped with the length. I hope everyone enjoys it! I did say I would try and get it out fast so I technically didn't lie from the post a couple hours ago!

The first thing Izuku noticed as he woke up was the smell of smoke, his eyes snapped open and he quickly got out of his bed. It was hot, he could smell the smoke in the air, he quickly ran to his door before opening it. Seeing smoke in the air he ran to his mom's room to warn her!
As he ran down the hall, he could hear the sound of fire coming from the kitchen, fear colored his eyes as he continued his run to his mother. He had to get to her!
Finally arriving at her door he threw it open with a shout "Mom!" he cried as he stared at the scene before him. A dark shape hung over his mom's bed before it turned to him revealing a skinny man with a wild look on his face. Izuku fell back in fear and gasped in fear at the intruder.
~hanging by a thread~
Oshiro thought the job was going fairly easy. He had doused the kitchen table and counters with some gas and made a small fire, to get it going. It went up a lot faster than he thought it would, which stressed him out a bit. Maybe he should have waited to light it till after he had the kid in the sack already? He grunted with annoyance at the deadline he set for himself accidently, before stabbing the lady again with the knife, just to make sure she wouldn't be getting up. Either way the fire would torch her and get rid of the evidence right?
"I should go grab that kid before the fire wakes him up." he thought to himself as the door to the room slammed open with a shout of "Mom!" He looked over shocked as the kid he was supposed to be nabbing fell back with a look of fear on his face.
'Fuck me!' he thought as he saw the kid. He started stalking towards the kid before the fucking brat started running like a little psycho. "Kid!" He furiously yelled as he chased after him down the hall. 'This fucking kid is not going to get the fuck away from me!' he screamed in his head as he chased the panicking kid.
As he got into the living room, he could hear the fire ripping away in the kitchen, 'Shit that is a lot louder then I expected, wait that's good, that would explain the kid screaming so maybe the neighbors won't know I'm here?!"
He saw the kid struggling at the door trying to unlock it and open it, thankfully the brat was so short and young he could barely reach the door knob. He ran forward and grabbed the kid by the back of the neck before punching him in the back head, dazing the brat. Thankfully the kid wouldn't be able to make any noise now that he had his grip on him.
He forced the sack he brought over the kid keeping a firm grip on the kid through the hole in the sack and opened the door to look out into the hall. He could hear noise in the rooms across from the apartment but nobody was in the hall yet. 'Now's my chance!' he thought with a smile as he ran out of the apartment with his new cargo towards the stairs. 'Just got to get to the meeting location and I can wash my hands clean of this fucking kid and get my money.'

Air Track sat at his desk and stretched with a sigh. He worked for the Mustafu Fire Department for 15 years now, he thought with a smile. He pulled up his cup of coffee to his lips and took a swig as he looked at the pictures on his office wall. "I'm getting too damn old for this." he thought with a sigh. He was a rescue hero for 30+ years before he decided to take this job as a semi-retirement. He stared at the wall as his mind wandered, from his late wife, to his new understudy, to anything in general before the alarms went off.
He snapped to attention and quickly ran out of his office to the rest of his crew. His under study ran up to him. "Report sir!" Backdraft said to him. "There is a fire in an apartment down on Fralideja Street!" He said as he prepared his loadout at the lockers.
"You heard him boys! We are on the clock!" Air Track yelled to his crew as they finished preparations to get into their truck and make their way to the emergency.
~what a night for a stroll~
The ghost turned to the door as the steady knocking changed to furious pounding against it. The door rattled heavily in its non-existent frame as it shook in place from the pounding on it, no longer any beat to it just wild abandon as if an earthquake was happening beyond it.
He slid down the crater at a run to get to the door and try and open it again, a deep fear permeated his heart as he listened to the pounding. He got to the door and reached for the knob, turning and pulling on it, it opened with practically no resistance, if anything it forced itself open as the knob was turned.
A black inky void was all that can be seen past the open door, almost a solid black sheet of rippling ink laid behind the door. It drew the ghost up short as he stared shocked at it before he stepped through it determined, 'It doesn't matter what happens, this is the only way out.' he thought with a silent grunt.

Izuku was panicking heavily at this point. First this man chased him from his mom's room before hitting him and shoving him into a sack. He tried yelling and screaming for someone to help but no noise would come out of him. He gasped in fear silently as tears streamed down his face. Was he going to die? What did this man want? His mind raced a mile a minute as his heart felt like it was going to beat out of his chest. He could feel his body getting colder and more numb as he panicked more and more, a heavy pain in his stomach manifested itself as he held at it with a whimper before it happened. Suddenly there was light as the bag ripped open and he fell out of it onto the hard pavement.
He gasped in shock at the pain of it loudly, sniffling at his tears, when he realized he could hear himself again. He ripped his head up to stare at the man who looked shocked at him, the ripped remains of the sack in his hand.
"You little shit!" He growled, reaching for a knife at his waistband as he ran forward at Izuku.
Izuku flinched back from that and tried to get to his feet to start running before a kick to his stomach stopped him, making him spew spit from his mouth. The man leaned over the top of Izuku and sat on his stomach with the knife in his hand. He slapped Izuku across the face, making him wince in pain, before pointing the knife at him.
"Don't say a word you little shit! I don't know how you ripped that sack, but I have had enough of this fucking job!" he muttered angrily.
Izuku stared up at him with a horrified look on his face, he closed his eyes, gasping in pain with his tears staining the ground around him. That's when he heard it. It sounded like a heavy thump, as the weight on his stomach vanished. His eyes flew open as he stared at the kidnapper with a shocked look. The man was on his side staring at the knife that was previously in his hand, embedding in his leg. A shadowdy black hand gripped the knife, connected to a man that seemed to be made of rolling shadows. It was hard to figure out his body shape as the shadows seemed to cover him head to toe, two yellow lights gleamed out of the shadows staring at the man. He had a humanoid head but no details could be distinguished from it.
Oshiro screamed in pain from the knife in his leg as he grabbed it and yanked it out of his leg, blood running heavily out of the deep wound. "What the fuck!?" He screamed. He shakily got to his feet before his leg fell out from under him and he landed on his ass. "Who did that!? Come out!?" He screamed wild eyed as he looked around him with fear.
Izuku stared at the shadow figure as it stood and walked to the kidnapper, it was like he couldn't even see the figure! It walked closer to the man who was still panicking before reaching back with a leg and kicking him solidly in the chest. Oshiro grunted at the pain before falling back, his head slamming into the wall behind him, his head slumping to the side as he went silent.
Izuku gasped in fear as the figure turned to him, the yellow eyes staring into his soul as it began walking towards him. "No! Stay back!" he whimpered, crawling back from the figure as it froze at his voice.
A thump sounded behind him.
"Izuku. Can you he…" The being said before suddenly vanishing as quick as it came.
"Kid you alright?" he heard behind him.
He turned shocked behind him to see a man with a long scarf and goggles standing behind him at a distance. He sucked in breath to yell before the man's eyes glowed red and everything went hazy and he fell to his side.
~awaken dreamer~
Shota was having a pretty good night so far, as he leapt over alleys between rooftops. He was able to get a good day's sleep to prepare for tonight's patrol. It took awhile to change his sleep schedule after graduating UA last year, along with Hizashi. His thoughts drifted towards another before he quickly shut down that train of thought again, adjusting his goggles he kept his pace when he heard a scream from an alley below him. He quickly glanced down to gain stock of the situation.
A man with a knife wound screaming at a kid, with the torn up remains of a sack. A kidnapping maybe? He was about to jump down when the man suddenly jerked back and slammed his head against the wall, quickly falling unconscious, from head trauma. The kids quirk maybe? A telekinesis quirk, perhaps.
He quickly grappled down with his capture weapon behind the kid and flashed Erasure at the kid. "Better for the kid to not panic", he thought with a grimace, he would rather not be thrown across the alley either by a panicked victim.
"Kid you alright?" He said quietly trying not to startle the kid, before the child whipped around and sucked in air as if to scream. He turned on Erasure again just to make sure the kid wouldn't panic and attack him, before the kid looked faint and fell to the side.
"What." he muttered as the kid seemed barely conscious. "Fuck." he muttered as he raced to the kid. "Kid! It's going to be alright, I'm a pro hero, breathe for me okay kid?" he said as he checked him over, the kid barely responded. He fainted, he thought with a grunt, as he checked his pulse.
He pulled out his phone before calling in to the local station and giving his location, then an ambulance. He turned to the assumed kidnapper and victim after getting off the phone before he turned to the man to give first aid to his leg and zip tie his hands, to secure the villain.
~and the night was going so well~
Air Track and Backdraft along with their crew had the fire fully contained only an hour or two after the call. It was clearly an arson case, from the burn patterns showing an accelerant was used. Air Track thought. In total four apartments were totalled and only minor injuries so far, so that was a small blessing at least. The families in the surrounding apartments were evacuated well before the fire reached them and where the fire started no one seemed to be home either, the door was wide open when they arrived so the family most likely fled. He did have two of his crew breach to make sure there was no one inside while he and Backdraft worked together to contain the fire and he had not heard a report on that yet.
Turning to his second in command he brought that topic up to the head of the fire crew. "Any word about the starting location? Did Sato and Sazuki clear it yet?" he asked.
The officer nodded with a disturbed look, "They did. They only found one body, she was dead by the time they got to the room." he said.
Air Track sighed, 'Well there goes that small blessing.' "She was most likely gone by the time we got here then, damn it! Smoke inhalation I'm guessing?" he muttered with a frown.
"Stab wounds." the officer said with a frown.
"Excuse me?" Air Track said with a shocked look. "A robbery then? Or someone trying to cover their tracks? Have you called the police yet?"
The officer nodded with a sad look, "They are on their way."
~embers dance towards the stars~
Aizawa stood outside the hospital room leaning against the wall as he wanted for police to arrive to take his statement.
Two men approached in trench coats, 'Detectives probably.' he thought as they approached.
The two men stopped and both showed their badges, the older speaker. "I'm Senior Detective Mori, this is Junior Detective Naomasa. Your Pro Hero Eraserhead correct?" Aizawa nodded to the question, getting up from the wall to shake their hands.
Aizawa gave his report on the situation before putting his hands in his pockets. "Kid didn't have any identification on him, so might need to have a blood test done."
"Perhaps, we do have an idea of who the child is though." Naomasa said, "There was a arson/murder a few blocks away from the situation that you arrived at. The mother was killed in her bed with a knife but the son was missing. We are hoping you found him. We have a family friend on the way after the husband was called. He is out of the country but he directed us to a Bakugou Masaru to try and identify the child. Hopefully we got lucky and don't have a missing child incident as well."
Aizawa sighed and rubbed a hand over his face. "Hopefully its him then, I wouldn't want him to have to deal with a family member murdered but at the same time its better than a lost child. Is the father coming back to the country to take custody of the kid then?"
"That remains to be seen, he works for the UNHA so he is currently deep in southern africa. We actually couldn't get a hold of him, just his UNHA coworker who was back at the base camp. A Akiyama Jin. He was the one who directed us to Bakugou-san."
The elevator behind dinged, causing the three to look at it. A man with spiky brown hair and a short mustache came rushing out nervously, pushing his glasses up and speed walking towards the group. "I'm Bakugou Masaru, I'm here to identify a child?" he said out of breath.
"Ah perfect, right this way Bakugou-san" Mori said guiding him to the window and pointing inside. Masaru rushed over and looked inside before gasping. "Izuku!"
~plains of shadow everlasting~
The ghost awoke in the shadow world again, he sat up and took in his surroundings before standing up with a sigh. He glanced to the left to see to the door standing in the same place closed shut. He walked up to it and with a heavy heart reached out to the door knob, he could hear the steady beat of the clock once again.
He closed his eyes and turned the knob expecting it to be locked once more, himself banished to this world once again.
The door opened easily.
