'thoughts': Thoughts

*Kuoh town 11 pm-ish*

"{I hate that vampiric tween brat! I hate her with every ounce of my damnable existence! How dare she do this to me!}" The green-haired man yelled with fury in his voice and pure malice glinting behind his piercing yellow eyes as he stumbled into an alley in some neighborhood he didn't recognize. He was clearly in pain but there were no injuries visible on his body. "{*grunt* That bitch! This body is dying and it's all her fault! I need to find a replacement quickly.}" The man's eyes darted back and forth looking for a suitable host to use before his current one dies. The green-haired man looks out of the alleyway he was in and he spots a young boy, no less than 15 or 16 years old. Without much time to waste the man yelled out to the kid, "{Hey! You! Kid!}" the man yelled out, directed to the teenager. "{Mind bein a good samaritan and help out a man in need? Just come a little closer, hey what's your name}?"

"Huh? Oh, uh, im Issei Hyodou. Who are you?" The teen identified as Issei had asked the green-haired man his name as he walked over to help. "{Heh, my name doesn't matter, all that matters is... THAT YOU DIE!}" The man yelled at Issei as he got closer to him, suddenly the green-haired man leaped forward at Issei, hand in a knife shape hovering over Issei's heart, puncturing it. "{Oh, yeah, My name is Terumi. Nice to meetcha Issei Hyodou, and goodbye. Now then, I should be able to possess his body fast enough before it rots.}" Terumi said as his body began to be "sucked" into Issei's corpse. From Issei's corpse rose a teenage boys body his skin was a paler white than what was there before with green,medium-length, slack hair that went down the back of his head to the base of his neck and Piercing golden yellow eyes that shined brighter than a beacon in a pitch-black void."{Good, it worked!}"

"{Ah, a young and healthy body! feels good to stre-AAAAH}" The boy(?) groaned while he grabbed his head and groan in pain. "{What is this?! What is happening?}" Suddenly, The boy heard a booming voice around him, and it spoke "[You should know better than to take a body that is not yours to claim, FOOL.] Without missing a beat the boy clutched his head even tighter screaming in pain. "{ What is this?! Who are you?! What are you doing to me?!} The boy shouted screaming with very obvious anger showing through the screams of pain. "[Simple, I am returning that which is not yours to its rightful owner, I would suggest that you stop resisting, lest we all end up dead.] Without a choice, the boy stopped clutching his head and fell to the ground unconscious. Minutes later the boy once again stood up, his hair had returned to the brown it was but now had green streaks running through different strands and patches of hair, his eyes stayed the golden yellow, however. Issei had not noticed anything had changed about him, not even that he had died. He clutched his head as if he was struck by a battering ram rubbing the spot where it hurt the most.

"What happened...? Wait, what time is it?" The boy checked his phone and realized how late it was and ran home, hoping his mother wouldn't notice he had been out this late. Once he had reached his house, he opened his front door as quickly and as quietly as he could, as not to arouse suspicion from his parents who were already asleep. He then closed the front door quietly, making sure to lock it, and tiptoed up to his room so he himself could get some rest. After all, he still had school in the morning.

Issei had always been a kind soul, always trying to help when he could. He always helped, even when no one asked. No matter what the task, he would do it. No complaint whatsoever, as long as it never conflicted with his morals. He was one of the most well-liked people in Kouh. Everyone knew him, and they all respected and were thankful for what had to give to the community. Issei, for as much as he was a gentle soul and how much everybody loved him, he knew he couldn't love them in the same way. At a young age, Issei was diagnosed with something akin to apathy syndrome, meaning it would be very hard, if not impossible for him to feel or understand strong emotions others felt such as love, lust, or greed. He could still feel emotions himself, but just because he felt, doesn't mean he would act like it. Issei also had a high tolerance for bullshit. Things such as idiotic babbling from an incorrigible woman about her privilege, or people being willfully ignorant of things that have been proven time and time again.

Though he had the patience of a monk, no one in Kuoh town wants to see what happens when Issei finally has had enough. How did that rhyme go again? Ah yes:" Demons run when a good man goes to war. Night will fall and drown the sun, when a good man goes to war. Friendship dies and true love lies, night will fall and the dark will rise, when a good man goes to war."

*Issei's room 6:30 am*
Issei had a restless sleep, tossing and turning, dreaming of things he could have sworn happened. Hours of tossing and turning, waking and sleeping. Eventually, he had just stayed up till dawn, it wasn't very long, maybe only two or three hours. When the light started to bother him he finally got out of bed and when to use the restroom. "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH?!" The look of complete and utter shock that came over him as he saw himself in his bathroom mirror was indescribable. His hair was a bit longer than he usually kept it with green streaks through his mostly brown hair, his eyes were a shining golden yellow, capable of putting even the most radiant diamond to shame. What shocked him most was the scar, on his now paler skin, that went across his left pectoral, it looked deep, too deep to even be seen on a living person as if it had gone through from one end to another. 'Was last light real?! Did all that really happen?! Where is that man?' Issei panicked as his mind tried to reason why he looked why he did until a voice spoke in his head. "{Geez kid! You never shut up do ya? We can hear you a thousand miles away!}" "Huh?! What?! Who said that?!" Issei once again panicked, looking for where the voice came from but was met with someone else looking at him through the mirror.

*From downstairs* Issei? are you okay? Why are you yelling so much? Stay still, I'll be right there ok?

*With Issei* "*gulp* Yeah, no mom, I'm fine!" Issei said, knowing full well that was a lie. Who else would be fine when the face of the man who killed him last night stared him in the face. "{Well now, you're a lot calmer than I thought you would be if I did this. Such a shame I can't see you piss yourself out of fear, hahaha!}" the man in the mirror, Terumi, laughed at Issei. "What are you doing here?!" "{Quite simple my boy, I'm part of you now! As much I HATE not being in control, I have no choice, otherwise, the overgrown lizard would chew half my limbs off.}" Terumi spoke with a hint of annoyance and slight malice directed at this Lizard. "{ Tell ya what kid, I talk to ya later, I'm tired from all that pain last night, yeah, you ain't the only one hurt from my actions, now I know what it feels like...}" The man said with a bit of disgust and pain obviously shown. "{Later kid!}" As Terumi was about to leave he said one more thing "{Oh, yeah! If you ever get into a nicka trouble, don't hesitate to use my gift to you! You'll know it when you see it, later!}" Those were the last words Terumi said before he disappeared from the mirror. Issei decided to get dressed as fast as possible then bolt it to school, he didn't want his mom to see him with how he was, he worried what would happen if he went to school. Whether or not it would turn out bad, he still needed to go as the thrashing from his mom for missing school would be worse than all the questions about his appearance.
