Author's Note: This chapter ended up needing a lot more work than expected, which is why it's kind of late getting posted. I once again want to thank my beta reader, masterray5 for his help with this story. I think this chapter ended up being a bit of work for us both.

Also, the title of this chapter comes from a David Bowie song of the same name. It was featured as part of his "The Man Who Sold the World" album. At the time it seemed like an appropriate title.

Chapter 11: "Savior Machine"

Irene sat in a chair at the edge of a large stone chamber and watched as three of her sorority sisters were getting nailed from behind by three very horny Deep Ones. It was their fourth round of intercourse and Irene had to applaud the stamina of her sisters for being able to go for this long. Of course, her friends were willing to give their bodies for the noble cause of making sure the Deep Ones had a future as the next masters of the planet. Irene could only wish Ami was just as willing.

Reverend Jim came into the room and went to stand next to Irene as round five got underway. "Enjoying the show my dear?"

Irene shrugged. "What can I say? I like to watch. Ami's ready to go. It's just a shame we have to drag her in here kicking and screaming."

"How soon will one of our nobles get to partake of her?"

"It'll still be a little while. We're trying to make babies here Rev. To ensure that, my gals have to get as much of the nobles' 'essence' as possible."

"Well, keep me informed." With that, Reverend Jim left the room as the monstrous orgy continued.

Zoisite and Sailor Eir had arrived at Innsmouth in a flash thanks to Eir's teleportation power. The two of them had to conclude the Knights of Dagon were keeping Ami in the underground tunnels beneath Innsmouth, so they entered the underground to search for her. Given their time working undercover in the Knights of Dagon, the duo knew of a few places where they might be keeping Ami, but given what the Knights had planned for Ami, Zoisite and Eir didn't have time to search every possible location.

After only five minutes of sneaking around the corridors, Zoisite let out a groan of frustration. "We need to hurry! For all we know, those bastards may have already handed Ami over to the Deep Ones."

"I understand your frustration, but we need to be smart about this," Eir reminded him.

"I know, but how do you suggest we even start looking?"

Eir looked down the corridor to their right and smirked. "Simple. We just ask someone for directions."

Zoisite turned his head to see what Sailor Eir was talking about and discovered a seven-foot-tall guard heading right in their direction. He was a large somewhat heavyset man with a bushy black beard and black hair with a widow's peak and a ponytail. There was a handgun holstered at his waist.

To Zoisite's surprise, Eir simply walked into the corridor with a friendly smile on her face and waved. "Hello. My friend and I are hoping you might be willing to give us some directions. We're looking for a friend of ours."

The guard simply responded by drawing his gun and pointing it right down at Eir. Zoisite was about to leap in to assist when suddenly Eir dashed forward with amazing speed. What happened next happened within the space of a few seconds. The pink-haired Sailor Guardian grabbed onto the guard's wrist, wrenched the gun from his hand, and with a single hand and a spin of her entire body, hurled the guard all the way into the wall at the end of the corridor. The guard hit the brick wall with enough force that his impact left a small crater. Zoisite simply stood there with his jaw hanging open.

Eir meanwhile examined the guard's gun. "Human weapons certainly are primitive, and made of such weak metal to boot."

With both hands, Eir crushed the gun into a little ball and tossed it away over her shoulder as if it were a crumpled-up piece of paper.

"Uh…how did you do that?" Zoisite asked.

"I may be a little…'vertically challenged', but I'm also incredibly strong. In fact, I have the greatest physical strength of any member of my team, much to the envy of a certain colleague." There was a glint in Eir's eye and a cocky smirk on her face when she mentioned this fact. "Now then, to business."

Eir walked over to the fallen guard as he struggled to get up and grabbed him by the collar. "Unless you want me to grind every single bone in your body into a fine powder, you're going to give me the following information. First, you're going to tell us where they're holding Ami Mizuno, a blue-haired Japanese girl your friends brought here earlier. Next, you're going to tell us where they're keeping any belongings of hers that they might have confiscated. Finally, you're going to take a little nap and forget you ever saw us. Now you have ten seconds to comply, or your arm goes first."

The guard quickly and eagerly told Zoisite and Eir what they wanted to know. As soon as he was done, Eir punched him in the jaw with only enough force to knock him out. The two chose to split up, with Zoisite rushing off to rescue Ami while Eir went to collect her things. As Zoisite rushed down the corridors to Ami's cell, he hoped very much that he could get to her before the unthinkable happened. Thanks to his preexisting knowledge of the underground, he knew almost exactly where to find the cell the guard had told him and Eir about. In a matter of minutes, Zoisite came to a room protected by a thick metal door with a single barred window at the top.

The blonde Shitennou looked in the window and sure enough, Ami was inside with her hands bound above her head by chains. Zoisite cut through the lock with one slash of his sword. After pulling the door open, he charged into the room.

Ami saw him Zoisite entered the cell and smiled. "You're alive!"

"Yeah, and I'm getting you out of here," Zoisite replied. "These chains might be a problem though."

"Irene said they were made of some sort of special metal that inhibits my powers. I tried transforming before and couldn't."

"Which means any attacks from my sword might not work either."

"Look, never mind the chains. Right now I want to tell you that…that I'm sorry for pushing you away back during our past lives. The reason I did was that I realized I had fallen in love with you. But back then a love affair between us would've caused problems for the Princess."

Zoisite was a little surprised by this at first but nodded. "I understand. You're right of course. I should've realized the same thing myself. It doesn't matter now though."

"I think it does. And one other thing, the reason I was looking through your files that night was so I could find information on Beryl and evidence to prove your kingdom wasn't in league with her. The royal court of the Moon Kingdom thought you might've been allied with Beryl from the beginning because of attempts to get Prince Endymion to marry her. Venus wanted me to find some kind of proof to show them otherwise."

"Okay…makes sense. Like I said though, it's all in the past. None of it matters anymore."

"It does matter!" Ami tearfully insisted. "Don't you see? My actions are what ultimately drove you to Beryl! If I hadn't pushed you away…maybe you wouldn't have fallen into her clutches."

Zoisite was at a total loss for words at first but at last, shook his head. "You don't know that. Knowing Beryl the way I do, she probably would've found some other way to get to me. Look, earlier Erica pointed out to me that wallowing over the mistakes of the past doesn't get us anywhere. We both made mistakes in the past we regret, but the important thing is we've gotten a second chance. So I'm willing to move on from what happened in the past, are you?"

Ami looked at Zoisite for a moment and nodded. "I am too."

"Okay then. So, about these chains…"

"Look, just forget about the chains for now. Okay…so, Reverend Jim wants to use me as breeding stock for the Deep Ones because I'm a virgin, right?"

"Yes, apparently they can only impregnate virgin women for some reason."

"And there's one sure-fire way to foil their plan right now." Ami paused and took a deep breath. "I want you to take my virginity."

Zoisite's jaw dropped and his face turned bright red. "You want me to…here? Now?"

"I know it's not an ideal setting, but we need to be practical here. Besides, Irene gave me a pretty powerful aphrodisiac and it's starting to take effect. It's not too bad right now, but I feel like if I don't get satisfied soon, I might go crazy."

"Okay, well that's all the more reason for me to get you out of here and as far away from Innsmouth as possible."

"There's no time!" Ami snapped. "We can't break the chains and the guards could come back at any moment. We need to do this right now!"

Zoisite paused for a moment and shook his head. "No, it isn't right."

"Zoisite, please," Ami spoke with the most pleading look he had ever seen from her. "I want my first time to be with you and not some horny fish-man who only cares about using me as a baby-maker."

That one look and those words were enough to undo any further resistance Zoisite had to the idea. "Uh…well, when you put it that way…"

Zoisite undid his transformation and began to undress. Ami watched intently as Satoru removed every article of clothing.

By the time Satoru removed his underwear and Ami saw his partly erect member, her eyes went wide. "Oh…gosh!"

"What?" Satoru asked.

"I, um…I wasn't expecting you to be so big…down there."

Satoru realized what Ami was talking about and blushed. "Uh…thank you?"

Ami shook her head. "Please hurry. There's no telling when they'll come for me."

"Right! Uh…how do I remove the dress with those chains?"

"Just tear it off! I think they designed it that way."

Satoru nodded and easily tore off the white dress Ami had on. Once it was off, Satoru couldn't help but pause and drink in the magnificence of Ami's naked body. She truly was a goddess incarnate. By this point, his rod had risen to full attention.

Suddenly something dawned on Satoru. "Um, is it weird I find it even sexier that you're chained up like this?"

"Whatever gets you in the mood!" Ami responded. "Let's just do this already!"

Satoru nodded again and pulled Ami into a passionate kiss. Their tongues began to grind against one another for several moments as Satoru began to grope Ami's breast.

Eventually, Satoru broke away for air. "Is this turning you on?"

"I told you, earlier Irene gave me a pretty powerful sex drug so right now I'm as horny as a rabbit in heat," Ami reminded him. "So...please..."

"Well…okay."

Satoru, at last, pushed his rod into Ami's moist entrance. Ami winced a bit as Satoru penetrated her, but she urged Satoru to keep going. Slowly Satoru began to rock his hips into Ami. Eventually, the pain subsided and Ami let out a deep moan of pleasure. Satoru took this as a signal to go faster.

An eternity seemed to go by until at last Satoru felt Ami's inner walls tightening around his rod. He too felt as though he was on the brink of release. Then in one glorious moment, the two of them finally climaxed. Ami could feel a massive blast of warmth erupt inside her. Neither of them noticed when the silver bracelet Satoru had on shattered to nothing at the moment of their shared climax.

Once they both came down from their orgasms, Satoru withdrew and began to pick up his clothes. "Well, I suppose this means we can take a little more time figuring out how to remove those chains."

"Satoru, wait! Can…can you go again?" Ami asked.

Satoru paused and blushed. "Um…I think so. You really want to do it again?"

"Well yes, but not like before. I want you…to try something else..."

"A different position?"

Ami shook her head. "I mean in a way, yes. What I'm saying is…I want you to come at me…from the other side."

It finally dawned on him what Ami was suggesting and the blonde was totally speechless for a moment. "Uh…really?"

Ami blushed and nodded. "It's something I've always been a little curious about ever since accidentally seeing a certain video online. Besides, I'm still a little horny from the sex drug they injected me with."

"Well…okay."

Satoru then came around behind Ami and took hold of her hips. Ami gasped as he shoved his rod right into her rear end. The sensation was painful but in a different way. One of the major things Ami noticed was how much bigger Satoru felt coming into her from the B-side. Just like before, Satoru started by rocking his hips into her slowly, but as the pain finally subsided Ami urged him to go faster.

"Hit me," Ami ordered.

"What?" a surprised Satoru asked.

"Slap me, dammit!"

Satoru did as instructed and slapped Ami on her left asscheek, causing her to cry out. Ami ordered him to do it again and he complied.

"Say I'm garbage!" Ami ordered.

"Wha?" Satoru responded.

"Do it!"

"You're garbage!" Satoru told her as he slapped her again.

"Tell me I'm a slut!" Ami ordered.

"You're a slut!" Satoru declared as he slapped her again repeatedly. "You're a dirty, filthy whore!"

"OH YEAH!"

The two of them went on like this for several more minutes until at long last they finally both came to a hard climax again. They stood as they were for a few moments catching their breath. Ami, at last, glanced towards the door and then totally froze at what she saw there. Satoru looked to see what had Ami so stunned and was just as mortified to see Sailor Eir standing in the doorway. The pink-haired Sailor Valkyrie had a bundle of clothes tucked under her right arm, and her jaw was hanging open wide enough to let a train through.

Eir eventually walked into the cell with stiff movements like those of a mechanical doll and began to speak in a voice higher than normal. "Mr. Petrov. I am pleased to inform you that you have now completed your true mission to me and have been released from service. You are now free to return to your normal life. Your true mission was in fact to take Sailor Mercury's virginity before any of the Great Old Ones or their minions could have a chance to defile her, as was the will of my mistress, Lady Freyja. I congratulate you for the successful completion of this task."

"Uh…what?" Satoru responded.

"Sailor Mercury, I have retrieved your clothing as well as the key to your chains," Eir continued, still in the same unusually high voice. She placed the items in question on the floor in from of them, still moving like a mechanical doll. "I advise you to transform as soon as you are dressed, as we are currently in the heart of enemy territory. I will be waiting for you both in the hall once you are ready to go."

Her task complete, Eir walked out of the room, still moving in a rigid mechanical fashion.

"Uh…Sailor Eir! Erica!" Satoru called. "How much did you see?"

"TOO MUCH!" Eir shouted from the hallway.

"…We should probably get dressed now," Ami decided, now also speaking in a higher voice than normal.

"Yeah," Satoru agreed. "I probably should've closed that door."

Charles Dexter Ward paced around his lab feeling absolutely powerless. He had heard about Ami's capture at the hands of Reverend Jim and how she was soon to be handed over to the Deep Ones. Ward knew exactly where they were holding Ami and he wanted very much to rush over there and rescue her, but he couldn't. For one thing, he still couldn't afford to break his cover as Joseph Curwen. Plus the simple fact was he felt he wasn't strong enough to mount a rescue.

Ward had a great intellect and possessed much of the alchemical and necromantic knowledge of the dark ancestor whose identity he had managed to assume in some bizarre twist of fate, but he was neither strong nor athletic. In fact, in his days as a schoolboy, he was often bullied by boys who were more the athletic type, boys who had pounds of muscle but barely an ounce of brains. Unfortunately, muscle seemed to be what Ami needed most now, either muscle…or power. For perhaps the hundredth time during the last few hours, Ward stopped pacing and looked over at the computer in his lab. The screen showed a progress bar at ninety-nine percent.

The computer was almost finished with the translation to call forth Yog-Sothoth's power, but for whatever reason, the computer was taking an eternity to finish its task. To Ward, it seemed as though the device was perhaps jammed up by something caught in its works, but of course, he knew it was likely a problem infinitely more complex. The fact was Ward had no love for these infernal machines called computers, but the machine on the table working on the translation was his only savior at the moment. It was the only way he had to save Ami, putting an end to the Knights of Dagon, and perhaps even ending Dread Cthulhu himself. All it needed to do was finish its task, but time was running out.

Just as Ward turned away and began to pace again, the computer suddenly beeped. Ward turned back around and saw the screen of the computer showed a peculiar message. The top part of the message stated the translation was one hundred percent complete, but the bottom part was a question in the form of a single word.

"EXECUTE?"

Below the question were two buttons, YES and NO. Ward's limited knowledge of computers at least gave them the means to use those buttons, but he wondered which ones he was supposed to press. After pondering the question for a moment, Ward theorized that perhaps the computer was asking if he wanted to invoke the spell to call forth the power of Yog-Sothoth. Ward wasn't expecting the computer itself to be the means to invoke the spell, but with Ami's virtue in danger, he decided he wasn't going to be picky. Without a moment's hesitation, Ward sat down at the computer and used the mouse to click the YES button.

The moment Ward clicked the button the screen of the computer began to flash a blinding sequence of numbers and letters. A high-pitched whine began to emanate from the machine, and suddenly smoke began to rise from the monitor and other parts of the device. Ward began to fear the device was on the verge of exploding and wondered if he should run away. Before he could get up though, the screen blasted him with a blinding ray of green light. In moments Ward felt as though he were leaving his body and going to someplace far off.

The next thing Ward knew, he was standing in an endless expanse of white. There was no sky, no ground…nothing to be seen at all. The place was an endless void. Then in an instant Ward thought he could see a human figure standing a few feet in front of him. This figure had no distinct features, at least none that could be seen by the naked eye. It was more like the outline of a human body.

"Why have you called me forth, Charles Dexter Ward?" asked a voice. Ward was startled to hear the voice sounded like his own, but he knew the speaker had to be the figure standing before him. "For what purpose have you summoned me?"

"Do I have the privilege of speaking to Yog-Sothoth?" Ward asked.

"Over the eons, I have been called by many names by many forms of life, but the name you use for me is a correct one," the voice of the figure answered. "Again, why have you summoned me?"

It took Ward a moment to find his proper words. "I have called you forth…to use your power. I require it to eradicate the Knights of Dagon…the Deep Ones…the shoggoths…and even Dread Cthulhu! My greatest wish is to see them all turned to dust!"

"…I see. How interesting. The power you seek can be yours, but I warn you Charles Dexter Ward…such power has its price."

"I don't care! I'm willing to pay any price required! Right now the virtue and sanity of a noble young woman is at stake, and the only way to save her is to bring the Knights of Dagon and their allies to ruin! Therefore Yog-Sothoh, I demand you give me your power!"

Suddenly a grinning mouth seemed to appear on the head of the figure. "Very well. Then become the avatar of my power."

The figure then reached out and placed a hand on Ward's shoulder. An instant later Ward felt something passing into him, a power so great it overwhelmed him and caused his very consciousness to blackout.

Sailor Mercury and Zoisite eventually met back up with Sailor Eir out in the corridors. For several moments there was a heavy awkward silence between the three.

"Um…perhaps it would be best, where the three of us are concerned anyway if we forget about what happened back in the cell," Mercury suggested with a nervous smile.

"Would if I could, but unfortunately not even my people, advanced as we are, have developed any sort of method to allow a person to un-see something," Eir responded. "I am quite willing however to never speak of this again."

"Sounds good to me."

"Hold on," Zoisite interrupted, nervously raising his hand. "There's just one thing I want to confirm. Was I really brought back from the dead for the purpose of...deflowering Ami?"

Eir let out a heavy sigh. "Yes, that was the main reason why you were brought back. It was a strategy mainly to prevent Sailor Mercury from being corrupted by a certain Great Old One that loves to corrupt virgin Sailor Guardians into his minions. For the record though, you weren't getting extra points for taking her backdoor virginity as well."

"Just for the record, that was Ami's idea."

"Okay, I'd really like us to stop talking about this now," Mercury cut in, still with the same nervous smile on her face.

"Sorry honey," Zoisite sheepishly responded. He then cleared his throat. "Okay, so where do we go from here?"

"It seems we have only one option left to us at this point," Eir began. "We have to destroy the Knights' facilities here, and more importantly we need to eliminate Reverend Jim."

"I'm not sure if I feel right about that," Mercury interjected. "Reverend Jim may be an enemy, but he's still human."

"I understand where you're coming from, but he's also a human with a dangerous amount of power. He was able to knock out a Sailor Guardian and fatally wound Zoisite here."

"Jim seemed to get his power from some book called the R'lyeh Text," Zoisite pointed out. "Perhaps if we could take the book away from him, we could neutralize him without killing him."

Eir put a hand to her chin. "It's worth a shot. Okay, we'll head for Reverend Jim's office to confront him. We should all be prepared though for the possibility we'll have to…"

Before Eir could finish her statement, the entire corridor began to shake. Soon after the three heard a loud explosion come from down one of the tunnels. Mercury and the others rushed down the tunnels in the direction where the explosion seemed to come from. It was a little difficult for them to tell exactly where in the network of tunnels the explosion came from due to the echoing nature of the walls, but Eir's goggles gave the sensory information that allowed her to guide them in the proper direction. Eventually, the trio came to a section of the tunnels where a massive hole had been blown in the side of the wall.

A thick cloud of smoke obscured what was beyond the hole, but Mercury quickly realized the hole was right where the door to Ward's lab was supposed to be. She suddenly began to worry for Ward's safety. A few members of the Knights had already gathered outside the hole to see what was going on. Suddenly one of the Knights gasped and his eyes went wide with what seemed like a shock. In a matter of seconds, the skin on his face began to turn into particles of green light that flowed into the open hole.

Mercury and the others watched as the poor man's clothes and skin were stripped from him and he turned into a living mass of exposed muscle and organs. He only existed in that state for a few seconds though. His muscles and organs were soon reduced to particles of light as well, rendering him as nothing more than a skeleton. In another few seconds, the skeleton went through the same process. Horrified, the other two Knights who had been watching attempted to run away, but they had only gotten two steps before they went through the same process.

The dissolution of the two fleeing Knights of Dagon members happened at a far faster rate than to the first poor victim of whatever was inside the hole. Cautiously, Mercury, Zoisite, and Eir began to approach the hole. Mercury activated her goggles to attempt to see what was happening beyond the smoke. Unfortunately, her device couldn't seem to make heads or tails of what was there.

"I can't tell if Charles is in there or not," Mercury told the others.

"There's definitely a powerful energy source in there," Eir reported as she read the readings from her own goggles. "I've got a very bad feeling about this."

At last, the smoke started to clear, and Mercury and the others saw something emerge from the hole. It was a floating humanoid figure surrounded by a dazzling blue-green aura. Much of its body was covered in multicolored cables and wires arranged like muscle fibers, while its torso was covered with pieces of computer equipment. It's head was a computer monitor with a screen that was black except for two glowing blue-green circles like a pair of eyes. A halo of blue-green light hovered above the creature's monitor head.

"Who are you?" Eir asked. "What did you do to those men?"

The entity looked down at the pinkette. "I broke them down into their base atomic components and absorbed their data to scan. Even now human beings continue to be a fascinating breed."

"Wait, I know that voice!" Mercury interrupted. "Charles? Is that really you?"

The entity looked at Mercury. "Charles Dexter Ward is merely my vessel. I fashioned him and the components of the device he used to summon me into my current avatar."

"You're Yog-Sothoth, aren't you?" Eir identified.

"Correct."

"Hold on! The spell Charles wanted translated was only supposed to call forth the power of Yog-Sothoth, not Yog-Sothoth himself!" Mercury pointed out.

"My mind and my power are on and the same," the entity responded. "To call forth my power is to call forth my mind."

A dark realization dawned on Mercury. "That's why Joseph Curwen never tried using the spell."

"So what exactly do you want, Yog-Sothoth?" Zoisite asked.

"My exact goals are beyond your comprehension," Yog-Sothoth responded. "I could not even render them in words you can understand. But to achieve them I will strip this planet of all life. You will be no exception."

"I won't allow that!" Mercury declared as her lyre materialized in her hands. "Mercury Aqua Rhapsody!"

Mercury strummed the strings of her lyre and caused several strands of water to fly towards the half-mechanical entity. Before the strands could reach their target though, Yog-Sothoth raised a single hand forward. In seconds the water strands dissolved into particles of green light.

"Your powers are nothing before me," Yog-Sothoth coldly declared. "Like everything else on this world, you will be reduced to nothingness."

Author's Note: I confess that I kind of stole the idea of Yog-Sothoth's mind and power being one and the same from the light novel/anime series, Slayers. Also, the initial appearance of Yog-Sothoth is based largely on that entity that guards "The Gate" in Fullmetal Alchemist. I've often thought that creature could be considered an incarnation of You-Sothoth actually.

Please review and let me know what you think.
