This is a completely original story line written in the universe (and beyond) of Hyrule. This is a story of how a timeline of our fated hero, Link, ends in another world far from Hyrule. Welcome to Hyrule with a twist, dear reader. In this AU, Prince Link is a reckless royal who cannot get out of his own way. Zelda, a newly appointed royal guard, must deal with his antics. Their journey begins when they are thrown together to stop a terrible horror unwittingly released upon Hyrule by Link's foolishness.

Zelda's plans for promoting unity amongst Hyrule turns festive as she plans to turn Zora's Domain into a Yuletide event. While Link fears her plans might be too grandiose, Mipha and Daruk are too happy to play along- until a dangerous situation threatens more that the holiday spirit.

The light spirits have abandoned Hyrule, plunging it into an ever-lasting night. Zelda's husband says that the light was stolen away; he says that the Twili are to blame. But Midna? She calls him a liar; she calls the missing daylight a burning apocalypse upon her realm; and she calls upon Link to betray his comrades, his prince, his queen, and his kingdom. Premise-reversal AU.

When Link first donned the all-powerful mask of the Fierce Deity during his battle against Majora, he didn't have time to wonder on where the mask got its gifts. Now, he does. Wind is taken in the middle of the Phantom Quest. The other Links had assured him only a few hours, a day at most would have passed when he would be returned. All would be well, and Wind could get back to his quest before Bellum was able to succeed in his goals. Only if the passage of time in the King's Ocean worked like they thought it did. What does the future hold? It was an often asked question, and the answer varied. At one point, Link thought he knew the answer, but tragedy proved him wrong. Still, it wasn't completely hopeless. I was planning to do this after I finished the Superstar Saga, but I couldn't resist writing it, it is part of the Vortex Kingdom canon it follows an idea I had where not all world remained the same after they all fused together, and this is one of the products of it. Zelda's crucial mistake has endangered Hyrule and left it without a hero. While Link is in Termina, Ganondorf schemes to take the Ocarina of Time anyway.
