I sulked in my bed as I stared mindlessly at the TV screen that was showing the morning news going over the weather today. Klaus didn't contact me or come over after what happened last night. I heard a knock at my front door but I ignored it. I didn't feel like dealing with people.

I heard a knock again at the front door. I glared at the direction of the noise. Can't anybody take a hint?

Clink!

I jumped hearing something hit my window. Who the hell?! I got up from my bed and walked towards the window. Who needed my attention so badly?

I froze when I saw who was in my yard. I stared in shock to see Elijah standing. He gave a friendly smile and gestured to the front door.

I turned around and headed for the front door. Did Klaus undagger him last night? I opened the front door to Elijah now standing inches from the door frame.

"Elijah...you're.."

"Un-daggered? Yes. You can thank Damon for that." Damon must have done that when he was at the old witch's house last night.

"Did you need something from me?" I asked and crossed my arms.

"Nothing in particular. Just wanting to chat. I thought we could go for a walk?" Elijah offered.

"Yeah, sure. Let me get dressed." Elijah nodded and I closed the door as I headed back upstairs.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" I asked, as Elijah and I walked down the open field near my house.

"I had a heart to heart with my brother last night. He told me some intriguing things. Such as you and my brother are mates." I came to a stop and Elijah followed and looked at me.

"Yeah, well he's mad at me currently. He sent me home pretty abruptly last night." I retorted with a tight lip smile.

"Yes, he told me about what Damon said. I believe my brother is more threatened by Damon." I grew a puzzled look on my face.

"Threatened? How?" I asked in surprise.

"He views Damon as somebody who can take you away from him. Niklaus is not use to this feeling he has for you. His natural reaction was to push you away after Damon threatened him by bringing up your past relationship."

"So, Klaus isn't mad at me?" I asked with the words coming out slow.

"No, quite the opposite. I believe he went out shopping this morning for something for you. He mentioned your phone was gone and couldn't contact you." Oh yeah, I forgot I'm phoneless at the moment.

"So this is why you wanted to talk? To tell me about what Klaus really felt last night?"

Elijah nodded, "I tend to fix my brother's messes. He's not very good when it comes to his feelings, but he'll learn in due time. Have patience with Niklaus." Elijah said with a warm smile.

"Why do this?" I asked curiously.

"Because you're family now. We look after each other, and to be honest with you, Allye. I haven't seen my brother this happy in centuries. You're good for him, more than you know." Not going to lie, I felt pretty honored that Elijah was holding me up to that pedestal.

"Thanks Elijah. I needed to hear that." I said smiling.

"Hear what?" Elijah and I turned around to see Klaus standing there with his hands behind his back.

"I was just welcoming Allye to the family, brother." Elijah responded.

"I see. Well, if you wouldn't mind Elijah. I'd like to chat with Allye myself."

"Very well. I have some other matters to attend to." Said Elijah before vanishing.

"I hope my brother didn't bore you too much." Klaus said as he walked to me. His hands still behind his back.

"No he didn't. He gave me some good insight." An awkward silence fell between us.

"Allye…" I looked at Klaus as he paused on his words.

"About last night...I didn't mean to push you away. I just-" I interrupted him by giving him a kiss on the lips.

"You don't have to explain. I know you didn't mean it." Elijah was right. He did feel threatened.

Klaus let out a sigh and his dimple smile form on his face, "Good. I'm not the best when it comes to this."

I let out a playful smile as I snaked my arms around his torso and looked up at him. "There's something that the powerful Hybrid has trouble doing?" I teased as I pulled myself closer to his body.

I could both feel and see the lust in his eyes as I did this, "Careful, love or I'll show you just how good I am at something." He said in a low tone.

Just as he leaned down, I grabbed what he was hiding behind his back and jumped backwards.

Klaus had a stunned expression on his face. I couldn't help but start laughing as I held a hand sized box that he was hiding.

"Did you just play me?" Klaus said in disbelief.

I could only nod as my laughter still filled the air. My laughing was interrupted as I suddenly felt myself get lifted. I let out a little shriek as Klaus had picked me up and had his hands supporting me on my thighs. I wrapped my legs around his torso so I wouldn't fall.

"You owe me a kiss for playing me like that." He demanded playfully. I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck and leaned my head down and captured him in a kiss.

I pulled away from the kiss and I could feel my heart speed up at the look he was giving me. "I love you." He whispered. "I love you too." I replied and gave him another kiss.

"Can you put me down, now? I want to open the present you brought me."

"Very well." Klaus set me back down on the ground. He watched as I opened up the box to reveal a brand new phone.

"I thought since Stefan disposed of your old one, you would need a new one." Klaus said as I took the phone out.

I unlocked the phone to show the basic apps and basic background that came with a brand new phone.

"I already added one name to your contacts." I tapped on the contacts app and pulled it up. It had only one name on it and it read:

"Nik." I said out loud and looked at Klaus.

"You can call me that, if you'd like. I only let those closest to me call me that."

"I'll take you on that offer, Nik." I said playfully. Nik gave me his dimple smile and kissed me on my temple.

I got an idea and went to the camera of the phone.

"What are you doing?" Nik asked. I held the camera up with it having the front facing camera on.

"I need a new background, so I'm taking a selfie of us." Nik rolled his eyes.

"You women and these selfies." I gave him a blank stare.

"Just humor me." I deadpanned. Nik sighed but gave a smile towards the camera.

I leaned my head and smiled and snapped the picture, "There. Was that so hard?" I said as I set my home screen to be that picture.

"Extremely." I lightly slapped his arm. His phone began to ring and he made a mock hurt face before grinning and answering his phone.

"Yes brother?" He asked, taking a more serious tone.

"I just had a conversation with Damon Salvatore." I heard Elijah's voice on the other end. I could see Nik visibly tense hearing that name. He gripped his free hand into a fist to the point his knuckles turned white.

"And what did that conversation entail?" Nik asked snidely.

"They want to make a deal for the remaining coffin." I could see Nik relax slightly hearing that.

"Tell Damon Salvatore, that we will discuss deal makings tonight at dinner." With that Nik hung up. I could feel his frustration, anger, and was that jealousy?

I said nothing as I approached Nik and wrapped my arms around his torso and placed my cheek on his back. I felt his body slowly let go of some of the tension. His mind was in a bad place right now. I need to get him out of the head space.

I pulled away from the hug and grabbed his hand. He looked down at our hands and back at me.

"Come on. Follow me." He remained silent but had a curious glint in his eyes.

"Better?" I asked softly. I used my hand to prop my head up as I lay on my side, looking at Nik.

"If this is what you're going to do every time I get upset. I'll have to do it more often." Nik looked at me and used his hand to gently stroke my cheek.

"I don't know about that, but it was the only thing I could think to get you out of your head." I replied and leaned down to kiss him.

He deepened the kiss and rolled us over so he was hovering above me. He broke the kiss and let out a sigh, "As much as I would love to stay like this the rest of the night," His eyes scanned over my naked body, "I have a dinner party to set up." He rolled off and got up from the bed and began to put his clothes back on.

I sat up and held the bed sheets to cover my chest. "Nik." He stopped midway getting dressed, just finishing tightening his belt on his jeans.

"You know I love you and only you, right?" He walked back over to the bed and placed his knuckles on the bed to be at eye level with me.

"Of course I do. Now get some rest, my love. I'll call you in the morning." He kissed me gently on the forehead. He got up from the bed and grabbed his shirt and quickly put it over his head. He grabbed his jacket and walked out the bedroom door.

I waited until I heard the front door open and close. I let out a sigh, "Please don't let Damon get under his skin." I muttered to myself. I turned on the TV to put something on to watch.

Allye got a surprising and pleasant visit from Elijah. We get to find out that Klaus still sees Damon as a threat to his new relationship with Allye.
