"Rebekah and I are headed back to Mystic Falls now as we speak. I'll make a deal with them to get Niklaus back." Elijah told me over the phone.
"What kind of deal are you going to make? As long as Ric is still alive and still connected to Elena's life, they are not handing him over." I told him as I paced around the study.
"In exchange for leaving Elena alone to live her natural human life, and possibly her children's. We'll have Niklaus and run from Alaric. We've run from Mikael before, this is the same." I did not like that plan.
"I don't like this plan, Elijah. I wouldn't be able to see Nik again. You do realize that I age?" I told him.
"There's no other way to get him back, Allye. I'm sorry." Like hell there is.
"Fine. You make your deal with the Salvatore Brothers. I'll handle this my own way." I said spitefully.
"Ally-" I hung up the phone before Elijah could talk. Bonnie Bennett and I need to have a little chat.
I sat on Bonnie's bed in the dark as I waited for her to come home. Lucky for me, her dad's out of town. She's all alone at home. I saw lights beam through the curtains and the sound of a car engine. I stood up from the bed and peaked through the curtains. I watched as Bonnie got out of her car and fished for her house keys in her purse.
I looked down at the nightstand and noticed a picture frame with a photo of Bonnie, Caroline, and Elena. I quietly set the frame facing down. Just to give her a scare when she came into her room.
I heard the sound of a key being inserted in the front door. I stealthily walked across her room and hid behind her open bedroom door. I heard the front door open and close and saw light underneath the door.
I heard the sound of her setting her purse and keys down. I then heard the sound of her phone and could hear the clicks the phone made as she texted. She then sighed and I heard her set the phone down. Perfect.
I waited patiently as I heard her roam around the first floor of the house first. I then heard her footsteps getting closer. The sound of her going up the stairs got even closer. I looked down at the door and could see her shadow as she got closer.
I stayed silent as she walked into her room and took off her jacket and threw it on her bed. She took a step to walk back out but stopped when she noticed her picture frame on the nightstand facing down. As she slowly turned around and walked towards the nightstand, I silently started to close the door. She picked up the frame and looked at it. It wasn't until I closed the door and turned on the light she spun around.
I gave a fake smile and my eyes glowed red, "Hello Bonnie."
"Allye." Bonnie said and her eyes widened. I could hear her heart beat quicken and fear radiated off of her.
"I've already hidden away anything sharp in here, so don't bother to go for any self defense weapons. And the best part, I'm immune to your magic." I said smirking and took a step closer. Bonnie backed herself up to the nightstand.
"So you are utterly defenseless against me." I said and allowed myself to continue shifting. My fangs and claws grew and my ears grew to a point and light hair formed at the sides of my face.
"Now, you're going to help me get back Nik." I demanded.
"Why should I?" Bonnie fired back.
"You took away the one I love, I will take away yours. Jamie, I think his name was?" I said as I stepped closer to Bonnie.
"You wouldn't." She said, trying to be brave but her voice was shaky.
"You stabbed me in the back by desiccating Nik! I'm beyond furious now, Bonnie! I'll kill your mother, your father, and that pretty boy you brought to the dance. Anyone that you care about I will end their meager existence!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. My eyes glowed brightly as my anger increased.
"You sound like Klaus." Bonnie said with anger in her voice.
"You left me no choice! You took away the one I love! You are the one who performed the spell! You are the one that is making me play the bad guy now! Then to top it off, you celebrate it with your friends!" I yelled and took another step closer.
"You saw that?" She asked.
"Oh I saw it alright. I tracked you down first, but then I saw the big party everyone was having. Celebrating that you took Nik down. I also know that none of my so-called friends thought about how I would feel about dumping my mate's body in the middle of the Atlantic! Everyone except Megan." I took out my phone and selected video chat with her contact.
Megan accepted the call and I faced my phone screen towards Bonnie.
"Megan, show her your guest." I told her.
"Jamie." Bonnie whispered.
"He's knocked out right now thanks to some sedatives. You have to the count three before Megan tears Jamie's head off in front of you." Bonnie shook her head.
"One." I started the countdown.
"Allye, don't do this. You're better than Klaus." Bonnie pleaded.
"Two."
"Please, Allye!" Bonnie said louder. Tears started to form in her eyes.
"Th-"
"Okay! Okay!" Bonnie yielded.
"Megan, I'll call you back." I said and ended the call.
"I'll help you get Klaus back." I shifted back to my human form and let out a tight smile.
"That's more like it."
"What do you want me to do?" She asked.
"Simple, really. Elijah should be here right now making a deal with Elena to get Nik back. He's already told me the deal he planned on making and I don't like it seeing as I won't see Nik again for the remainder of my life. Elena will, of course, agree to it. Instead of dumping Nik's body in the Atlantic the Salvatores will put him somewhere safe until Elijah and Rebekah make the trade." I stated as I paced her room.
"Ric will eventually find Nik's desiccated body and use the white oak stake on him. You're going to call whichever brother it is that is guarding Nik's body and tell them whatever excuse you have that's believable to get their location. Now here's the plan. You're going to perform the Body Jump spell. Once Nik in his real body technically dies, his soul will jump into another body you've already spelled. Now I'm hoping once his soul leaves his natural body, the stake will stop burning him. But that part is more of wishful thinking." I stated.
"Who's going to be the host?" Bonnie asked.
"The only other hybrid in this town at the moment." I told her with a smirk.
"Tyler." Bonnie answered.
"Ding, ding, ding. Give the witch her prize." I said with a sinister smile etched on my face.
"Klaus can't be in Tyler's body for long." Bonnie stated.
"Oh I know. Do you really think I want to do anything with Nik while he's in Tyler's body? No, that's gross. Like I said, either his real body survives and we'll use that or until I find a suitable host to have his soul jump into next." I informed her.
"Now, I'm going to leave and you're going to forget this conversation ever happened. You're going to call Elena and find out if it's Stefan or Damon that's guarding Nik's body. You drive there, perform the spell. Come back to Mystic Falls, call Tyler to you and perform the spell. Then we're all done with part one. Easy as that." I said and opened the bedroom door.
"Oh, and if you even possibly think of telling anyone about this. I will call Megan and have her rip Jamie's head off and Fedexed overnight right to your front door. Goodnight." I said with a fake smile and left her bedroom.
I drove my car up to the driveway of Nik's mansion. I turned off the engine and looked to my left. I groaned seeing Elijah standing at the porch waiting for me.
I opened the car door and got out. I closed the door behind me and locked my car.
Elijah waited until I was close to the front porch. "Elena accepted the deal." He started off.
"Of course she did. It's all in favor of her and not in favor of us, no I'm sorry just me." I said with a fake sweet tone and tried to walk past Elijah.
He grabbed my upper arm to stop me from walking past him, "What are you planning, Allye?" He asked.
"I wasn't particularly fond of your plan and knowing the Salvatore Brothers, they'll mess this up. I'm thinking ahead, Elijah. Just like Nik would. I have an insurance plan in place in case things go south. Now. Let. Go." I ordered in a low tone. Elijah stared at me before releasing his grip on my arm.
I walked past him and headed up the stairs towards mine and Nik's room.
No One's P.O.V
Damon and Bonnie exited an elevator to a storage unit somewhere in Virginia.
"You know, I'm not half way out of Virginia and Elena sells our souls to the Originals?" Damon said in disbelief.
"It was her call." Bonnie said with a shrug.
"You know what else is her call? Everything bad ever." Damon added.
Bonnie let out a huff, "Where's the body? As long as it's unspelled, Alaric is one witch away from finding it." Unbeknownst to Damon, Bonnie lied. There was no way Bonnie could do that, but she had to come up with something otherwise it meant Jamie's head...literally.
"Hidden. I was gonna use Unit 666, but figured that would be a little obvious. So," Damon stopped in front of a unit, "1020. Mini fridge, a couple bird cages, a box of old playboys, "Damon undid the lock and opened the shutter door, "One beef jerkified Original." Damon said and gestured to the casket sitting in the storage unit.
Bonnie walked over to the casket and ran her hand over the top of it.
"You seen Allye yet?" Damon asked.
Bonnie stopped and looked over at Damon, "No." She lied, "I haven't seen her since what happened at the school."
"That's what worries me. Nobody has seen her. I would have thought she'd bust through here by now to save him." Damon mentioned and motioned to the coffin.
"I don't know. Elena said she was the one that called Elijah here. Maybe she left it up to him?" Bonnie partially lied.
"Doubtful. That's not Allye's style." Damon said and looked behind him.
Bonnie then opened up the casket revealing Klaus' body. His skin appears gray and chains around his body. Bonnie and Damon both stared at him and then Klaus opened his eyes.
"Oh, creepy." Damon said uneasily.
"I need a minute." Bonnie told Damon.
"Just jam the witch locator, bat signal or whatever and get on with it, Bonnie." Damon said, rushing her.
"Elena and Jeremy lost Jenna and Alaric because of him. Tyler's a hybrid, my mother's a vampire, and we lost Allye to him. Could you give me a minute to just appreciate the sight of him like this?" Bonnie didn't tear her gaze from looking at Klaus.
Damon didn't say anything. He exited the storage unit and closed the shutter door back down.
Bonnie leaned over the casket, "You should burn in hell, but Allye's taken a page out of your book. She took somebody I care about hostage and is threatening to kill him if I don't comply. She doesn't trust Elijah's plan or anyone for that matter at this time. I was angry at her at first but then I remembered what she said before we went to the school. You sired my friends and mother's vampire line. If you die by Alaric's hands, then they die too. So listen closely, I'm only saying this once. Allye's plan is for me to cast the Body Jump spell. Alaric will find you and kill you but your soul will jump into Tyler's body. That's only temporary until Allye finds a suitable host or if by some miracle your real body isn't torched to ash." Bonnie explained in a low whisper. Klaus was too weak to respond or give any expression. Just a blank stare.
Allye's P.O.V
I downed another shot of whiskey as I sat on the bathroom floor. My anger is still too bad and until I don't feel like tearing somebody's head off. I need to keep drinking. I heard a knock at the bedroom door.
"Go away, Elijah. I'm done talking!" I yelled out.
"It's me, Allye." I heard Rebekah's voice.
"Come in." I said as I poured another glass of whiskey.
I heard the door open, "Oh my god. What are you doing?" Rebekah asked, seeing me on the bathroom floor.
"Drinking." I answered and downed the whiskey I just poured.
"I can see that." Rebekah walked over to me.
"Elijah told me you have an insurance plan." I rolled my eyes.
"Of course he sent you. He's been trying to get me to tell him what it is for almost an hour now." I said and started to pour another drink but Rebekah took it out of my hand.
I put my hands in the air in a 'wth' fashion and looked at Rebekah with a look of disbelief.
"Why aren't you telling him? He's Nik's brother." I scoffed and rolled my eyes.
"The very same brother that made a deal that says I don't get to see Nik for the rest of my lifetime. I'd be long dead by the time he decided to revive Nik." I said with venom in my voice.
"Fair point." I held my hand out.
"Now give me back my alcohol. I need to keep drinking until the feeling of ripping somebody's head off passes." I said with a fake smile.
Rebekah didn't say anything and handed me back the bottle of whiskey.
"Thank you." I said and poured another glass.
"Can you at least tell me what this insurance plan is." Rebekah asked, sighing and crossed her arms.
"All you need to know is that the plan will work if things go south. That's the whole point of insurance." I told her and down the shot I poured.
Rebekah huffed, "Fine. I'll leave you to your drinking." She said and turned around.
"Close the door behind you." I told her as she left.
I didn't even flinch when Rebekah slammed the door close. My phone went off with it's text notification. I set the whiskey bottle down and pulled my phone out of my pocket.
'The spell is done. Klaus will jump into Tyler's body when Alaric kills him with the stake.'
I smirked at the text. The insurance plan is now in play.
'Excellent. Send me the GPS coordinates where Nik's body is. That's where I'll head to after Alaric does his part.'
Seconds later Bonnie sent me the GPS coordinates. I copied the coordinates and then went to Megan's contact.
'GPS coordinates to the location of Nik's body. Meet me there. How's Jamie?'
I left out the part to Bonnie that I nor Megan planned on hurting him. Megan just knocked him out with sedatives. Bound and gagged him. Some face time and after Bonnie caved, like I knew she already would. She's not exactly the greatest at calling people's bluffs. Megan would set him free.
My phone went off and I looked at the text.
'Sleeping like a drug induced baby. He probably won't remember anything when he wakes up. I'm heading to the coordinates now. See you there.'
I put my phone back in my pocket. I stood up and set the whiskey bottle and whiskey glass on the bathroom counter. I walked over to the bedroom window and opened it up. I put one hand on the window seal and jumped out of the second story.
I landed with ease and headed to my car silently to not alert Elijah. I noticed the car Rebekah uses was already gone. She must have left to do the trade. I unlocked my car and got in. I'm gonna have to use my defensive driving skills to get out here. Once Elijah hears my car's engine start up. He's going to be out here quick.
I took my phone and put the GPS coordinates in. I put my phone on it's holder on the dash. I took a deep breath and inserted the keys and started up the engine.
I quickly put the car into reverse and pressed the gas pedal to the floor board. Sure enough, I saw Elijah run out to the porch hearing the engine.
I kept reversing until I was past the gate. I sharply turned my wheel with one hand and pulled on my emergency brake with the other. Causing the car to drift until it straightened out. I put the emergency brake down and quickly switched gears to drive. I once again pressed the gas pedal to the floor board. My tires squealed as they tried to gain traction and once it did, it shot forward. I pushed my gear shift to the side that made the engine work harder for the car to go faster. There's a reason why I wanted some upgrades to this car.
I looked in the rearview mirror to see Elijah standing in the smoke my tires left as I drove away. I haven't had to drift since driving away from hunters in Beacon Hills. Best thing Derek has ever taught me how to do.
I drove down Route 12 and currently going easily close to 100 mph. I had already been driving for almost an hour to where the GPS location was taking me. I had three missed calls from Elijah already. Megan had already called saying she's already there. Jamie's house was a little bit closer than Mystic Falls. She said Damon had left after Alaric died. Meaning Elena is somehow dead, not that I really care anymore.
My phone went off and my eyes glanced to the screen. "Bonnie" is what the caller ID read. I hit the green accept button.
"Bonnie, surprised you're calling me. I'm almost to the GPS location. Megan beat me there and told me Ric is dead. If you're calling to tell me Elena is dead then save it for somebody who actually gives a damn about her." I said spitefully.
"It's not Bonnie, love." I froze hearing Tyler's/Nik's voice.
I let out a breath, "Oh thank god the spell worked." I said relief in my voice.
"It did and I'm alive thanks to you. Bonnie told me everything down to the last detail. I have to say, love. I am extremely impressed and proud of you." Tyler/Nik praised.
"Yeah well, I had to go anti-hero to make sure this worked. Megan was the only one I trusted with the plan. Not even Rebekah and Elijah were in the loop. They knew I had an insurance plan but they didn't know what that meant." I said. I started to slow down when GPS showed I was approaching my destination. To my right appeared to be a storage facility. Of course Damon thought to put the coffin in a storage facility. He thinks he is hilarious.
"You're really sounding like me now. Not even letting my siblings know about the plan. Bonnie was not kidding when she said you had taken a page out of my book." Tyler/Nik said surprised.
"Oh I was going to originally but Elijah pissed me off with the deal he was going to, and did, make to Elena. They were going to keep you desiccated for past Elena's and her children's lifetimes. Meaning I'd be long dead by the time they would have woken you back up. Rebekah didn't do anything to stop it either." I said. I pulled into the parking lot of the storage facility.
"They did not." I could hear the anger come from Tyler/Nik's voice.
"Oh yes they did. In the end, I could only trust myself and my pack." I put the phone off speaker and put it up next to my ear. I got out of the car and walked over where Nik's SUV was parked and Megan was leaning against it.
"I'll have to have a chat with my siblings then." Tyler/Nik said, the anger still clear in his voice. I got closer to Megan and she gestured with her head inside the storage facility.
"Yeah, you are." Megan opened the coffin and showed the only partially burned body of Nik, "But that will have to wait until at least tomorrow."
"Why is that?" He asked.
"Because for once luck is on our side. Your actual body is only singed. Looks like they closed the lid to the coffin when it caught on fire and deprived the fire of oxygen." I said and closed the lid to the coffin.
"That is good news. Hurry back to Mystic Falls, love. The sooner you bring back my body the sooner Bonnie can put me back in it and we'll be off." Tyler/Nik stated.
"Your car is not as fast as mine. I was able to make it here in under an hour. It's normally a two hour drive. The sun will start to rise by then. Where are you so I know where to go?" I asked.
"At the Lockwood Cellar. I'll be waiting here for you. Turns out Alaric outed any vampires in town and included you and Megan as Werewolves. This body is vulnerable and you need to be careful when you come back into town. Hunters will be after you." Tyler/Nik informed.
"Hunters I can handle. I'll take your car back. I'm not risking Megan's life. I'm going to let her get a head start to Beacon Hills in my car." I said and looked at Megan who looked concerned.
"Sounds fine to me. Hurry back." With that Nik hung up on his end.
"The council knows about us?" Megan asked.
I nodded, "News to me, but apparently. If you step foot back into town, they will kill you. Take my car and put in coordinates in your phone for Beacon Hills, California. That's where Nik and I are headed after I bring him back his original body."
"That's where you grew up, right?" Megan asked unsure.
I nodded, "I'll text my brother and let him know you're heading his way. He knows my car when he sees it. He'll keep you safe until I get there." I assured Megan. Megan said nothing but nodded.
"Okay. Help me load this up before you take off." Megan walked over to the other side of the coffin.
She lifted the right side while I lifted the left side into the back of Nik's car. I grabbed the hatch and closed it.
"Good luck, Al. Be safe." Megan said and hugged me.
"You too and I will." I answered her and hugged her back, "Thanks again for having my back. I added as we ended the hug.
"You can always count on me. I'll see you in Beacon Hills." Megan said and headed for my car. I walked around and opened the driver side door to Nik's SUV.
I got in and closed the door. I turned on the engine and watched as Megan drove off and took a right down Route 12. I put the SUV into drive and headed out the same way but taking a left instead back towards Mystic Falls. Make this the second time I've stopped a "Kill Klaus" plan.
Allye successfully rescued Klaus with her plan with no help from Elijah or Rebekah. We got to see Allye's darker side in order for the plan to work. This marks the end of season 3 and the start of season 4 next.
