"You! What did you do to my brother!" The pink-haired girl's light red eyes started glowing while electricity formed around her.
Vegito's mind finally processed everything as he waved his hands in front of him. "Wait! It's not what you thi-!"
Vegito couldn't finish his sentence because he had to evade a lightning bolt. Normally, something like his wouldn't bother Vegito in the least. Not even a tickle will do. However, females were terrifying to deal with. If there was anything to go on with Chichi and Bulma, it was that. They were deadly even when they lacked ability. He was still puzzled as to how Chichi was able to physically harm Goku with her frying pan.
"Hey! Stop that!" Vegito dodged another lightning bolt attack before jumping back a little. He placed his index and middle finger on his forehead and then disappeared.
Remi was taken aback when the intruder vanished. She looked around to see if he was somewhere. Vegito arrived behind Remi and chopped the back of her neck. Her eyes expanded slightly before slowly closing as she began to fall limp. Vegito caught her before she fell and gently placed her on the ground.
"Phew!" Vegito wiped imaginary swear off his forehead with his back right hand. "Glad that's over with."
Vegito's stomach grumbled as he placed his hand on it. He groaned and turned to face the girl and Rei's fallen forms on the couch. He was starving, yet it would be rude to consume Rei's entire kitchen stock.
Vegito turned his head towards Rei, who was still mostly out cold on the couch.
(BREAK)
Rei was snoozing soundly on the couch. Arms and legs extended to the couch's ends. He was pretty comfo-
*poke*
Ignoring the poke he just felt, he was pretty comfortab-
*poke*
Rei unconsciously tried to turn his body away from whatever was poking him, hoping it would stop because he was really comfortable on his couch.
*POKE**POKE**POKE**POKE**POKE**POKE*
He groaned a bit before he lifted his entire body off of the couch. Well, guess he's up and around for the day. His eyes were a bit blurry from just waking up, and the light didn't help him either.
Rei turned his head towards the direction he felt the poking and hey, lo and behold, it was Vegito.
Oh right, forgot he was still here. He was too busy trying to recover from almost dying.
Rei rubbed his eyes a bit before yawning "Oh, hey, Vegito. What's up?"
"Sorry to bother you, Rei. But there's something that happened." Vegito started scratching his head while Rei raised an eyebrow. "You might want to look by your feet."
Rei blinked a bit before turning his head around to fin- oh my god! Is that Remi! Why was she knocked out on the couch by his legs!
"Remi!" Rei quickly got off the couch to check on his younger sister that was currently unconscious. "What happened while I was asleep!"
"Ah, well, there might've been a misunderstanding." Vegito gave a nervous chuckled as Rei turned towards him. "See, when you were out like a light, your sister I assume entered the house and thought I did something bad to you. She started to attack me, so to cause as little damage as possible I just knocked her out. She'll be fine."
Rei processed what Vegito had said by getting up and clasping his hands into a prayer position. "I'm so sorry for the trouble she caused you! You see, Remi has a little temper problem, which sometimes leads her into making brash decisions. I'm sorry if she caused you any trouble!"
Vegito brought his hands up. "No, no! It's fine. No one got hurt, and the damage was to a minimum. No harm done."
At this time, Vegito's stomach started to growl.
Very loudly.
Vegito patted his stomach a bit before turning to Rei with another sheepish expression. "Ah, sorry to bother you once again. But uh, you wouldn't happen to have something to eat would you?"
Rei stumbled a bit at the loud stomach growl before coming back. "O-of course! It's not a problem. I can make food for all three of us to eat. But uh, maybe we should wake up Remi first."
"Yeah, that's my bad." Vegito went into the kitchen for a minute before coming back out with a bucket of water.
Where'd he get the bucket?
"Wait, I don't think we sho-"
*SPLASH*
"Gah!? Who's there!"
Remi instantly woke up as soon as Vegito tossed the water on her. She leaped from the couch, her arms above her head in a terrible guard form. When her gaze fell on Vegito, she started glaring at the oblivious Vegito.
"It's you! What did yo- Brother!"
When Remi saw her brother standing by the kitchen doorway, she halted in the middle of her sentence. She dashed over to Rei and wrapped her arms around him in a bear hug.
"Brother! You're safe! I was so worried about you! Quick, we have to take out this intru- Ow! Brother, why'd you do that?" Remi had a comical lump on her head now, thanks to Rei, as tears were collecting around the edges of her eyes.
"Calm down, don't attack so rashly." Rei turned towards Vegito. "Remi, this is Vegito. The man who saved my life. Vegito, this is my little sister, Remi."
Vegito waved his hand ever so casually. "Hi there."
"Wait, saved? What do you mean saved?"
"EMBER. They were targeting me and trying to kill me. If Vegito hadn't jumped in I would've died."
"EMBER!?" Remi was horrified. The organization EMBER. A group that recently started killing vigilante superheroes, and high-tier individuals was targeting her brother!
"Yeah, I was at my limit." Rei nodded his head. "The women I fought wore this black trench coat with a wide-brimmed black hat. She was way stronger than me, she had this fire claw ability, and I was about to die."
"But then Vegito jumped in. He saved my life, and he completely overpowered her. Which forced her to run."
"Wait a minute." Remi started processing what Rei had said. "So if EMBER was the one that hurt you the- Ah! I'm so sorry for attacking you without reason!"
Remi's cheeks flushed as she realized she had mistaken Vegito as the person who had harmed her brother.
Wow, they're so alike. When Vegito saw Remi apologize like her brother, he blinked. Huh, they almost act the same.
Almost.
Maybe I should tell them about my fight with Buu.
