When Two Teams Become One

Since the two cases of Deja Vu, Delta Company has been on edge with certain things at Kadic Academy. "It is weird. Why are we getting a sense of Deja Vu?" Ash asks outside the gymnasium. "I don't know. It all started when we snuck into the lab and got shocked by that-what was is?" Dawn asks. "An electromagnetic ghost," Allison said. "I remember my aunt talked about it before." "Was it a mystery?" Ash teases. "No. I remember when I was little, and my sister and I walked into the room to ask my mother something, all of the adults stopped talking." "Interesting. Okay, this 'ghost,' XANA, wants to destroy the world. But why Lyoko?" Brock asks. Over the past week, Delta Company has been "observing' the Lyoko Warriors from the section of the abandoned factory where you can access the Supercomputer. "According to Jeremy, this XANA is not bound to the Supercomputer, so Lyoko is the only way of defeating attacks from it," Ash said. "Also, XANA activates these towers that only Aelita can deactivate them," Allison said. "And each person, minus Jeremy, has a unique weapon on Lyoko. No wonder Jeremy is lame in gym class; he needs to get out there," Dawn asks. "I think Jeremy prefers the chair. Also, somebody has to be on the lookout. And what if XANA attacks Jeremy? He has to defend himself. I will give him that much," Allison said. "Come on, slowpokes!" Jim shouts. "What is Jim angry?" Ash J complains. Inside, Brock was wearing a red and white jersey with the number 16 and black shorts. Ash was wearing a pink and white shirt and green shorts. Allison was wearing a yellow sweatsuit and had her hair in a ponytail. Dawn is wearing a gray and pink sweatsuit, and she had put her hair in a bun. Odd is wearing a purple shirt and blue shorts. Aelita is wearing a pink sweatshirt and blue shorts. Ulrich is wearing a green shirt and orange sweat pants. "How are we going to die today?" Odd asks. "Odd, have faith. It won't be that bad," Aelita asks. "Today, we are going to work on self-defense. It will be a blood, sweat, and tears type of day!" Jim laughs sinisterly. Jeremy, who is wearing his gray sweats, gulps. "Nervous, Belppois?" Jim asks. "No...No, sir," Jeremy says. "Good!" Jim tries to demonstrate a move, but he hurts his back again! All of the students laugh, but Ash laughs a little too loudly. "Think this is funny, Ketchum!" "What! No, sir!" Ash said. "Well, let's see what the jokester can do. Stern, why don't you show our new friend here a technique." "Of course," Ulrich said with a smile. Allison pats Ash on the back and gulps. Ash and Ulrich walk up to each other and shake hands. Ash J whispers to his sister. "You know, if he loses, dump him." "Fuck you," Allison whispers back. Ulrich smiles. "Consider this for all the trouble you and your friends have caused my friends and me." Ash nods, but his stomach is doing other things. When Ulrich lunges forward, Ash grabs him, flips him, and pins him to the mat. The whole class laughs. "Ulrich never loses," Odd whispers to Aelita. "I know. We better what out for those kids then," Aelita said. Allison smiles, and Brock cheers. Dawn notices Jeremy looking worried. "I see your friend has some training to do." "Whatever," Jeremy says. "Good job, Ketchum," Jim said. Ash helps Ulrich up, and Ulrich walks away. Ulrich is mad; that's all we can say.

Later in the day, Dawn was sitting in the courtyard reading Decapitator Dairies. A book series when nine teenagers from the planet Oxford deal with a series of threats from the Ace of all Trades while dealing with their lives as teenagers in an overpriced school. "I feel for Dusk. My boyfriend dumped me too over the phone. Maybe she should go after Even. At least he is cute." At the same time, Aelita and Yumi walk by and see Dawn reading. "You read that book too!" Aelita shouts. "Aelita, we need to meet Jeremy at the library," Yumi said. "I do read the books. It is my escape," Dawn said. Yumi rolls her eyes until she sees which book Dawn is reading. "That book drives me crazy! How can Yuri like two guys? One is cool and shy, and the other is a hothead and keeps a scoresheet." "That's right. If you have to go to the library, I can go with you. Allison is there as well," Dawn said. Aelita and Yumi smile. Allison is listening to "Potential Breakup Song (explicit)" by Aly and AJ while doing her math homework at the library. Jeremy looks at her and sighs. "Headphones: I can still hear your shit!" Jeremy notices Allison's quiz on the latest math lessons. "10% on a quiz. Wow! Talks lots of shit but gets horrible grades." Then Allison moves her hand, and Jeremy gasps. "110% What the fuck?" Allison hears him and grabs her quiz. "Hey, I'm sorry. I'm impressed. Be proud of the grade," Jeremy said. Allison smiles. "Thank you," Allison said. Allison moves her brownish-reddish hair out of her face and talks to Jeremy. "I studied math as a kid when I traveled the world." "You said in class that you were a coordinator, like Dawn," Jeremy said. "Yep. I use math in everything." As the two talks, Jeremy's computer froze. "Not again!" "What is wrong?" Allison asks. "I have to update my software, but it claims I have not enough space." "Let me see." After a few minutes, Jeremy's computer is updated. "Thank you," Jeremy said. "Your welcome," Allison said. They smiled at each other. Then Yumi, Aelita, and Dawn entered. "No way! Dusk doesn't like Even." Yumi said. "Yes, she does, but because she just broke up with her boyfriend, she doesn't want to pursue it," Dawn said. "But what about when they kissed in the Jade Cave?" Aelita said. "I don't but it," Yumi said. They sit near Allison and Jeremy. "What is going on?" Jeremy asked. "Decapitator Dairies," Allison said. "Blah!" "Aww, can't handle the book Belpois!" "It's a stupid girly book." "No, it's not," Aelita said. "I can't believe you, Aelita. You like that book series?" "Of course." "Allison is three chapters ahead of us," Dawn said. "Really. Please tell me if the Ace of Trades does something to Gabriel and Mikada on their first date?" Yumi asked. "I am not listening to this junk!" Jeremy said, covering his ears. "Whatever. All I can say is, their date is one hot one. In more ways than one." Allison said. "My heart can't take it," Aelita said. "My ears can't take it!" Jeremy said. "Shut Up!" Aelita and Yumi said.

The next day, Ulrich and Odd wait for their friends at math class. "Math, why?" Odd moans. Ash and Brock arrive and take out their Nintendo Switches, and played a few rounds of "Galaxy Bros. The Doom Squad." "What level are you on?" Odd asks. "Level six. Ash is on level seven," Brock said. "Odd, stop!" Ulrich said. "Come on, Ulrich, let's play two rounds of quick speed, please?" Odd begs. Ulrich is still mad as fuck for being embarrassed by Ash in gym class. "Fine! Only two rounds," Ulrich said. Four rounds later, Ulrich and Ash are tied, but class is about to start. "So close," Ulrich said. "After class, we'll settle this," Ash said. Ulrich gives a slick smile. Math was no picnic. Mrs. Meyer was boring everybody to death. "So when you move the a to the b, the equation because more complicated to solve until..." This is boring! I hate math! Ulrich thought. Math: Mental abuse to Humans! Dawn thought. Then, of course, XANA activates a tower. Of course, if Jeremy, Aelita, Ulrich, and Odd leave class one more time without a real excuse, Jim will have their heads. Dawn hears Jeremy's computer beeping again. "It looks like they are trying to leave," Dawn said. "Wow, this XANA business holds no bounds for school," Brock said. Allison sees a cup near Ash. "What's that?" "Clam chowder!" Allison raises a bow. "What? I forgot to eat." Ash said. Allison smiles. "I know what you're thinking," Dawn said. "What is she?" Ash asked. "Fake it." "No way! I need to eat." "Come on, Ash, if we help them bail out of class, we might be able to get on their good side and..." Allison started, but the beeping got louder. "Jeremy! Turn it off!" Mrs. Meyer said. "Sorry, mam!" Jeremy said. "Ash!" Brock said. "Fine. You owe me." Ash open the cup. "It smells." "Good thing we're doing this," Allison said. Ash drank a mouth full and spat it out on the table. He pretends to feel dizzy. "Gross!" Allison shouted as she jumps out of her seat. "What is that?" asked. "He puked!" Allison said. Dawn and Brock pretended to feel squeamish. "I don't feel good," Dawn said. "Me too," Brock said. "I think they all need to go to the infirmary," Allison said. She tries to signal Jeremy. "What is doing?" Jeremy asked. "She is trying to signal us," Aelita said. "Hey, if it is away out..." Odd said. "I help to take them," Odd said. "Me too." Ulrich, Aelita, and Jeremy said. "Go ahead! Please!" Mrs. Meyer said. After that, Ulrich said, "Let's get you guys to the nurse." Then Dawn, Ash, and Brock acted normal. "Actually, we're fine," Dawn said. "What?" Odd said. "You needed to get out of class, and we wanted to leave," Allison said. Jeremy was confused. "Okay." Then Ulrich texted Yumi and left for the factory. A while later, Delta Company goes to the factory. XANA uses some of the tools from the factory to create a toolbox monster. Jeremy hears something, and Yumi and Ulrich went to investigate. When Yumi and Ulrich get to the factory floor, the toolbox monster stikes. Meanwhile, Odd and Aelita deal with a few krabs. Desert Sector "Jeremy, are Yumi and Ulrich coming back?" Odd asks. "No! Why?" "Because we are running out of ideas," Aelita said. On Earth, Ash hears something and sees something moving. "What is going on?" The toolbox monster attacks him. "Ahh!" Ash grabs a pipe and hits the monster down below. "Ash, where the fuck did he go?" Allison asks. "I have no idea, but I heard something," Dawn said. Allison goes to find Ash and sees Yumi and Ulrich. "The monster is over here somewhere," Ulrich said. "Monster," Allison said. She calls Ash on his phone but gets his voice mail. "Shit!" Allison grabs a nail shooter for defense. She looks around and hears something. "Oh look, it is the little mouse," Yumi said. "You didn't see me!" Allison said. Ash appears. "Allison, I found you. There is a tool monster on the loose, and Ulrich, Yumi... hi!" "And her little mate!" Ulrich said. "Are you still mad about the video game or gym class?" "Gym class?" Yumi asks. "Yeah, Ash beat his ass in class," Allison said. "I rather not talk about it," Ulrich said. "Where are they?" Dawn asks. Brock looked up. "Monster!" Allison, Ash, Yumi, and Ulrich run towards Dawn and Brock. On Lyoko, Odd has an idea. "It may be risky." "No!" "All you have to do is jump." "Okay," Aelita said. Odd climbs a rock and distracts the krabs. Aelita lays flat on the overboard and waits for an opening. Meanwhile, while the others deal with the tool monster, Dawn and Allison look for a pipe. "How rude! The boys sent us away." "I think it was to keep the peace. Yumi is angry. Oh well!" Allison said. Allison listens for something. "What are you looking for?" Dawn asks. "Water! Make the monster rusty" She finds it. Aelita is about to jump when the Krabs attack. The tool monster attacks Allison and Dawn, but Yumi and Brock throw debris at it. Ulrich and Ash throw scrap metal at it. Allison takes out the nail shooter and shoots towards the monster. "Hey, you fucking miss!" Yumi shouts. "I wasn't aiming at it!" Allison shouts. The nail hits the sprinklers and wets the monster, and it starts to spark. "Hide!" Dawn shouts. Aelita uses two Energy Fields and makes her way to the tower, and deactivates it. The tool monster falls apart. "It worked!" Brock said. "Aelita did it," Yumi said. "Who knew there was a sprinkler system here. I need to bring Odd here sometime. His BO is a no!" Ulrich said. "Like yesterday, I mean he wants to take the faster shower, but he needs to use soap," Ash said. "And his feet!" Brock said. "Don't get me started!" Ulrich said. "Boys, there are a different species," Dawn said. "So true," Yumi said. "And yet we somehow like them," Allison said.

In the lab, Delta Company is surrounded by the Lyoko Warriors. Jeremy is about to do a return to the past. "What are you doing?" Ash asked. "Something to make sure that you'll forget what you just saw." Ulrich said. "How far can you do that?" Dawn asked. "Twelve hours. Which is all we need." Jeremy said. Allison takes a deep breath. "But we've been doing this for a week." Allison said. Jeremy froze. "Jeremy, what are you doing? They are trying to trick you." Yumi said. "No. It's true." Dawn said. "Ya right." Odd said. "But we know that ... XANA activated a tower in the ice sector on Wednesday." Brock said. Aelita was stunned. "Excuse me? How do you know that?" "Aelita, it's a trick." Yumi said. "Come on. Yumi, you almost fell into the digital sea when you got hit by something on Tuesday." Ash said. Now Yumi is frozen. "Jeremy, what are you going to do?" Odd said. "Can you erase their memory for good?"Ulrich said. Jeremy took off his glasses. "I don't know how to do that." "What if you do it multiple times?" Odd asked. Allison speaks up. "But I thought if you do that, XANA get stronger. And also manipulating time to go back a week over the course of using a twelve-hour time sequence can lead to unfixable problems." Everybody looks at Jeremy. "She's right." "Also, we helped Yumi and Ulrich down there," Dawn said. "And got them out of class," Brock said. "Really?" Yumi asks. "Yeah, they did help us with clam chowder," Aelita said. "Fine, what do you want?" Jeremy asks. "Well, that is a loaded question," Ash said. Dawn pushes Allison forward. "Hey!" Allison said. "You have the biggest mouth!" Dawn said. "Brock's the oldest." "Ash, you know how to talk to people." Brock said. "Dawn is closer to Jeremy." Ash said. "And Allison has the biggest mouth." Dawn said. "Fine! We're going in circles." Allison said. She looks around and doesn't see angry faces anymore. She sees concerned faces. "Look, we followed you guys after Aelita's apology, and we found this place. We said nothing to nobody," Allison said. Odd wags his finger around. "What are you doing?" Dawn asks. "Seeing if this works. You know the move; follow my finger." That triggered something. "You mean Stay with this Finger!" Ash said. "Like when Mr. Mime attacked us at gym class last week." "I thought that was a dream," Brock said. "No, it was real." Jeremy looks at them. "What are you talking about?" "Mr. Mome attack us at school. It used Stay with this Finger and Confusion to paralysis students," Ash claims. "Jeremy, what is going on?" Aelita asks. "I am looking into it. But, did you guys touch anything?" "No. But we were shocked by a black ghost," Brock said. "Bingo! Some of your DNA is in the Supercomputer, and that makes you all get a sense of Deja Vu, and doing an RTTP is not advised because they will remember this." "Then, how can we trust them?" Ulrich asks. "Sissi!" Ash said. "SISSI!" The groups said. "Yeah, she was trying to use our rivalry to get information on you guys, but We can't trust her," Dawn said. "How do you know that?" Yumi asks. "What! Do you know what she did to Tobias?" Allison asks. "How about this. Get rid of Sissi, and we'll add you to the group. We need more members anyway. We can rotate so nobody gets tired," Jeremy said, "Deal," Dawn said. At dinner, Sissi notices both groups eating together. "Hey, what the fuck is this?" Sissi asks. "Dinner," Brock said. "What! I thought there was a war?" "There are wars, just not here," Dawn said. "What!" "And they have no secret. I mean, they don't trust you!" Ash said. "Really? I don't believe that." Sissi looks at Allison. "Is the mouse going to squeak?" "Why is the loon screeching? Ouch! My ears!" Sissi gasps, and Nicholas and Herve laughs. "Watch it or else?" "Like Tobias?" "Excuse me?" "I mean, I told Mr. Delmas, your father, that Tobias is nice to me and shows me around, so he was giving a warning," Dawn said. "What! He put the powder in the tube," Sissi said. "With the milk?" Ash asks. "No, with the dye and the milk powder!" "It was you!" Brock said. "Yes! I mean-" "You let Tobias take the fault. You're lucky I got him off the hook!" Dawn said. Sissi growls. "Leave!" Allison said. "Not until you tell me how did you know?" "Leave Sissi, and we won't tell your father, right?" Allison asks. "Right!" Delta Company said. Sissi nods and leaves. Yumi looks at the group. "What! Sissi did that! And my class had to clean that shit up!" Odd laughs. "That was gold!" Odd high fives Allison. "Welcome to the group," Ulrich said.

Later at the factory. "Ok, Everyone, raise your dominant hand," Jeremy said. Everyone did except Ash. "I'm an Ambidexterity" Allison just raises Ash's right hand for him."But you can't just-" Allison puts her hands over Ash's mouth.

We promise.

Do you promise to always go by Jeremy's plans?

"We don't even do that!" Odd said. Everybody except Jeremy laughed.

Do you promise to do what you have to do for the sake of Lyoko?

We promise.

Then Jeremy makes them immune to the return to the past. "Welcome to our group!" Yumi said. "It's great to feel welcomed," Brock said.

Then XANA attacks, and it goes time. With the new members added to the Lyoko, XANA will be begging for mercy or gearing for more attacks. Whatever the issue, the Lyoko warriors are ready.
