A Mid-Fall Night's Dream
It has been a few days since Delta Company has joined the Lyoko Warriors. At times, it has proven effected having two groups go to Lyoko. However, when XANA throws a few curveballs, it is an "all hands on deck" situation. So, now that it has been a few days, it seems like an initiation needs to occur. Hmm. What kind? Also, from who? In the meantime, let's check in with our heroes who are getting updates from Jeremy. (P.S. Odd might be half asleep since Jeremy has been talking for two hours.)
"It seems like XANA has increased interest in attacking the Core of Lyoko. So far, I am having no luck in finding a way to virtualize you all into Sector Five," Jeremy states. "What makes Sector Five different?" Ash asks. "Sector Five is where we access data on XANA. The programming is different than the other sectors." As Jeremy explains, Yumi and Ulrich tuned out for a bit and started to arm wrestle. Aelita looks around and notices Allison is doing her homework, and Dawn is falling asleep. Odd wakes up and comments on Jeremy's long explanation. "Jeremy, it's getting late. I know that you don't like to sleep, but I need at least ten hours of sleep to look this good!" "Sure, eight of those hours you spend playing video games!" Ulrich tease. "Fuck you!" Odd replies. "I'm sorry if the truth fucking hurts," Ulrich teases again. Dawn giggles, and Odd blushes. He looks at Dawn and winks at her, then charges at Ulrich. Dawn blushes back and looks at Yumi shaking her head. "Boys! Can't live with them nor without!" "You sound like my sister," Brock said. "You have sisters?" Odd asks while placing Ulrich in a headlock. "I have five sisters, and I am the youngest and only boy." "I have four sisters and five brothers, and I am the oldest," Brock said. "Holy shit!" Ulrich says as he and Odd fall. "Nine siblings! Whoa!" Odd said. "Yep. The only good thing about boarding school is having a break!" Brock said. "I will never complain about my sisters again- at least for today!" Odd said as the group laughs. "Allison has three siblings-a twin brother, an older sister, and an older brother," Dawn said. "Yeah, and we're all close in age, so a lot is going on," Allison said. Odd laughs. "Right! You said that you were the youngest." "Yes, but my older brother and sister treat my twin and me the same, so we team up a lot!" Brock laughs, and Yumi chimes in. "I am glad that I have one annoying brother." Aelita sighs and looks back at Jeremy talking to Ash. "Any questions?" Jeremy asks. He looks and sees Ash sleeping! "Hey!" Jeremy shouts. "Huh?" Ash responds. "Okay, we should all get some sleep, Yumi said. "I'm staying here," Jeremy says. Aelita kisses him on the cheek. "You too, Einstien!" Aelita says. Everyone giggles. Jeremy blushes. At the dorms, Jeremy talks to Odd about something. "Yeah, I see your point," Odd said. "Good, make sure they don't know," Jeremy said.
Around 10 o'clock, Ash and Brock were talking about Lyoko. "I mean, if I see or hear anything buzzing sound, I'm going apeshit," Ash said. "I hear you. Twenty hornets! XANA is testing us. However, we can handle it," Brock said. A few minutes later, Brock's laptop was blinking. "I swore I turned it off," Brock said. Brock turns it off, and Ash's laptop starts to blink. "What! Mine too!" Ash gets up and turns off his laptop. A few minutes later, Ash hears a sound. "What is that?" Brock looks up. "A ghost!" "Okay!" Ash and Brock wake up. "A fucking ghost! Ahh!" They run out of their room. Ulrich and Odd open their door. "What the fuck? I was trying to grab a taco," Odd said. The boys look at him. "What!" "What happened?" Ulrich asks. "We saw this thing. It was black," Ash said, "It made this sound, and it looks crazy," Brock said. Ulrich and Odd nod with their fingers crossed. "Let's go see Jeremy. "I see it, a tower in the ice sector," Jeremy said. "Are you sure?" Odd asks. "Yep. If we hurry, we can take care of it." Ulrich calls Yumi. "A tower! Are you sure?" Yumi asks. "Yeah. Meet us, okay?" Ulrich said. Yumi shakes her head. The boys get Aelita and knock on Allison and Dawn's door. "Hello!" Allison yells. "It's Jeremy. XANA activated a tower." "Fuck you!" Dawn said. "Dawn!" Jeremy said. "No! Tell XANA to come back during fucking business hours!" "Dawn! Get up!" Jeremy said. 'No!" Allison said. "Come up! We all have to show up in our PJs," Aelita said. Allison gets up and is about to open the door when Dawn throws a pillow at her. "Hey! No way!" Dawn said. "I need to fix my hair!" Dawn's hair looks like a prickly brush. "Dawn, come on, we all have bed head!" Ash said. "First of all, Mr. Hat Hair, fuck you! All you do is roll out of bed!" "Well, fuck you too! It's not my fault your hair is always a fucking mess!" Ash responds. "Allison, talk to Ash!" "Why Allison?" Ulrich asks. "Because they grew up together," Brock said. "Yeah, we did!" Ash said. "Dawn, wrap your hair," Allison said. "Okay," Dawn said. As Dawn wraps her hair, her laptop beeps. "Hey, turn off." A minute later, Allison's laptop beeps. "What is happening?" Allison goes to touch it, and a black ghost comes out. "Holy shit!" The girls shout. They open the door, and everyone screams. "What the fuck is that?" Aelita screams. "The thing we saw in our room!" Ash shouts. Allison and Dawn run all the way to the end of the hall. "You should have started with that!" Dawn said. The others run as well. Sissi opens her door. "Stop the fucking screaming!" She looks around and sees no one. "Fucking losers!"
The group runs towards the maintenance hole, but it is stuck. "I was calling you guys," Yumi said in her pajamas. "We saw something," Ulrich said. "What!" Yumi said. Allison sleeps with chopsticks in her hair, and she takes them out. "Let me see," she said. Allison pops open the maintenance hole cover in a flash. "Let's go!" At the factory, Jeremy splits up the groups. "Following the success earlier, Ash, Brock, and Yumi will go to Lyoko with Aelita," Jeremy said. "And there goes my sanity," Ash said. "The others will go and see what this ghost is about. I check some data, and the ghost is all over the factory." "Great! A teen-hunt for a ghost! Sounds familiar?" Dawn teases. "Let's go! I am not afraid of a fucking ghost!" Allison said. On the Ice Sector, Ash looks like a medical knight wearing blue armor, a Robinhood hat, and a sword. Brock looks like Robin Hood and had a bow and arrow as a weapon. "The tower is south of your location. Here are your vehicles." Jeremy sends the vehicles out, and they go. Along the way, Yumi notices that it is too quiet. "XANA must be planning something," Yumi said. "What are the chances?" Aelita asks. "I hear something," Brock said. "You do?" Yumi asks. "I hear hornets and blocks," Brock said. "Where?" Aelita asks. Jeremy checks his computer. "I see them, but they are close to the tower." "Brock, that means you have Super Sonic Hearing," Aelita said. "Thanks. I guess tending to my siblings has its perks," Brock said. A few minutes later, the monsters attack, and the vehicles all get hit. "Abandon ship!" Ash said. On Earth, Allison, Dawn, Odd, and Ulrich look around. "This is insane; what are we looking for?" Odd asks. Then, the black XANA ghost appears and attacks the lights. Dawn pushes Odd out of the way. "Are you okay?" Dawn asks. "Yeah, thanks," Odd said. They smile at each other. Ulrich hits some of the lights back. Allison looks around and sees a trap door. "This is crazy!" The ghost strikes the floor, and Allison falls through the trap door. She lands on a few boxes. "Old files of Franz Hopper. Jeremy told us about this." Allison gets up, and a box of photos falls out. "Franz from his Kadic days." Allison sees a picture of Franz Hopper, and it looks like her uncle. "I told Dawn that my uncle's name is Waldo. Also that my other uncles call him Walnut." Allison also sees pictures from something. "What is this? Project Cartridge. I know that relates to Sector Five, but I heard it at home." "Allison," Dawn shouts. "Down here!" The others arrive. "Whoa, blast from the past," Odd said. Odd looks at some of the pictures, and they look familiar. "Anyway, it can't find us." The ghost shuts off the lights. Ulrich turns around and sees red glowing eyes. "Run!" On Lyoko, the group defeats three monsters with five to go. "Okay, if only I can get close, I can use my powers to crush the monster close to the tower," Yumi said. "Okay, we can cover for you," Ash said. Ash goes out and distracts one of the blocks. Brock uses one of his arrows to hit another block. Yumi hides behind a piece of ice and tries to use her powers but gets hits but a hornet. "Yumi, Aelita shouts. Yumi turns around and sees it. Aelita uses her Energy Field to hit the hornet, but another hits Yumi, and she loses her life points. "Yumi," Brock said. Brock uses his arrow to hit the hornet, and Ash uses his sword to hit the block he was distracting. The last block is using its ice beam to block the path. Ash concentrates on a piece of ice and bk to the block. He thinks about moving the ice and crushing the monster, and he does. "Whoa, did Ash do that?" Yumi asks from the factory. "He did. He has Telekinesis like Yumi," Jeremy said. "Oh yeah, now get to the tower," Ash said. Back at the factory, Allison and Dawn see some supplies. "We can use these to wait!" Dawn said. Allison looks at them. "A pager to our laptops, water guns, and smoke! A prank!" "They were going to prank us!" Dawn said. "But XANA got in the way. No wonder they were all surprised! Them bitches!" "We have to even the score!" "We will when we see Ash and Brock," Dawn said with a smile. Aelita gets in the tower and deactivates. Back at the factory, Ulrich calls. "We can't find Dawn or Allison. They are okay, but we're lost... We are at the northside of the factory." "Okay, we will go find them," Jeremy said. Ash gets a message from Allison. "Okay, we will split up." Jeremy nods.
Jeremy, Aelita, and Yumi meet up with Ulrich and Odd. "We're screwed if we can't find them," Odd said. They all heard a sound. "What was that?" Aelita asks. "I don't know; I have not been to this side of the factory in a long time," Jeremy said. There were red lights. "What is that?" Odd asks. Yumi touches it. "It feels like slime," Yumi said. Ulrich notices red stars and triangles on the ground. "Okay, we have a problem." "Yeah, we do," Jeremy said. There was smoke and coughing. "Ash! Allison! Brock! Dawn!" Odd yells. "Please come out!" Aelita said. Someone bumps into Yumi. "Hey!" "What! Nobody touched you," Ulrich said. Someone pumps into Jeremy. "Cut it out!" Jeremy said. There was a crash! "Over there!" Ulrich said. There was thunder and spikes. "What happened?" Yumi asks. A shot of water on Ulrich's neck. "What the fuck? Something bit me!" Another shout at Aelita. "Stop! We should call them," Aelita said. When Aelita takes out her cell phone, slime drips from it. Aelita screams. "Hello!" Ulrich shouts. The floor has slime as well. "Okay, this is weird. Maybe we should go back. They could be at the lab," Odd said. At the moment, more smoke, and the floor was clear of slime. "What the fuck?" Yumi shouts. More shouts of water. Then it is raining silly string. "Help!" Jeremy shouts. At the moment, the group is huddled in the corner of the room as a silly string and water attacks them. "You know, if XANA didn't attack, we could have prank the newbies and not have to deal with this," Odd said. "Oh, really!" Dawn shouts. "Is that how you feel?" Brock asks. "Well, it is a good thing we're here!" Ash said. "So we can say," Allison said. "Gotcha motherfuckers!" They all said. "What!" Yumi shouts. The lights come on, and Delta Company holds water guns. "What's wrong? Mad we used your prank first?" Ash tease. "How did you?" Jeremy asks. "We saw it when we were hiding from the ghost," Dawn said. "The pagers were for our laptops, but XANA took over," Allison said. "Then the girls found your prank and realize that you wanted to initiate us. Well, not going to happen," Brock said. "That was cold. We were going this hard!" Ulrich said. "Oh well!" Delta Company said. "When I was a trainer, I had to deal with three assholes called the Unbeatable Prankers. They were beatable and losers. I learned a thing or two from them and my twin brother," Allison said. "But-" Aelita said. Delta Company leaves, laughing. "Odd, this is all your fucking fault!" Yumi said. "Yeah, we could have done something else!" Ulrich said. "Fuck you! It was Jeremy's idea!" Odd said. "No, motherfucker, I said we should initiate them. Not prank them!" "At least own up," Aelita said. Odd rolls his eyes.
Well, well. XANA turned a prank into an attack. Odd, at least I should be impressed. However, XANA knows that it needs to step up its game. How about eliminating the threat. Or at least slow them down. How? How about removing some control. Removing? What about our heroes? Will the Lyoko Warriors get revenge? No! But Odd may need to take notes. What happens next is up to XANA. That can't be good.
