Here's my next story! This one has elements from the story of Noah's Ark and the 2017 movie Geostorm. I'm putting the cartoon characters in an apocalyptic situation that will test their sanity. NightStar belongs to my good friend NightStar Mix. May contain inappropriate language, so I apologize for any hurtful words you may see. But other than that, enjoy the story!
The skies were getting cloudy and dark. Thunder and lightning are heard from a distance. A huge storm was about to arrive, but it wasn't just any regular storm: this was going to be a geostorm. The geostorm was going to devastate the whole land, but two young girls were fully prepared for this natural disaster.
On the ground below, the two girls: a pink-skinned, blue-haired semi-aquatic alien named Nikita, nicknamed Nikki by her friends and a purple human/wolf hybrid named NightStar, were standing next to a giant boat. This boat was huge, about the size of a cruise ship to be exact. They built it with hard work and magic, making it easy to finish. They dubbed it the S.S. Onward.
"Wow! Look at this huge ark, Nikki!" NightStar said. "Yup. We sure did a good job building this thing together." Nikita said. "I'd say we're ready to survive this geostorm when it hits land." NightStar said. "But first, we need to gather all of our friends and get them on the ark." Nikita said.
Nikita took out two pieces of paper and handed one to NightStar. She grabbed the piece of paper.
"Okay, here's the plan: I'll get the people from Cartoon Network, Hub Network, Disney, Kewlopolis, 4Kids TV, PBS, and Fox. You'll get Nickelodeon, Nick Jr, Kids WB, Sprout, Discovery Kids, and Dreamworks. Also don't forget about the Anime either." Nikita tells her friend. "That sounds like a great idea! Let's get to it." NightStar said.
The two friends went to work and traveled to different worlds from different cartoon channels. They were determined to rescue as many people as possible, but only those who are on the list that Nikita made. She traveled to Cartoon Network to save her closest friends from that channel. Nikita gathered different shows old and new. Only the best cartoons ever made would be saved from the geostorm. These were the shows that she liked the most and because of that, they'll be spared from extermination. Finn, Jake, Princess Bubblegum, and Marceline waved hello to Nikita.
"Hey, Nikki! Nice boat." Finn said, shaking Nikita's hand with his robotic arm. "Thanks, Finn. I made it with love and magic." Nikita said, shaking Finn's robot hand. "Very impressive work." PB said. "Even I have to admit that magic has its uses."
As the four boarded the ark, Nikita spotted Sector V coming along. She was really happy to see them, but she couldn't see Sector Z anywhere. Nikita really wanted to see the very team she saved not too long ago. She hugged Numbuh 3 and shook hands with Numbuh 1, the leader of Sector V.
"Numbuhs 1-5, I welcome you and your team to the S.S. Onward." Nikita said as she saluted them. "Nikita, honorary teammate designated Numbuh 7, we thank you for your invitation to your ark." Numbuh 1 said, saluting as well. "What an impressive boat! You've really outdone yourself." Numbuh 2 said. "Well I couldn't have done it without my good friend NightStar. She helped me a lot." Nikita said. "Well we'll have to thank her when she comes." Numbuh 5 said.
Finally, Nikita spotted Jasmine, Shawn, and Sammy as they began to board the S.S. Onward. They gave each other a group hug and took pictures with their cellphones. Nikita was really happy to see her closest friends after not seeing them in days.
"I'm so glad to see all of you. I can't wait to ride out the apocalypse together." She said. "Good thing you warned us of this geostorm or I reckon we'd all be fish food by now." Jasmine said. "Yeah, glad this is just a huge raging storm and NOT a full-scale zombie apocalypse." Shawn said.
Nikita laughed nervously at that comment. She hadn't told Shawn about her dark secret yet. She didn't want him to know that she was half zombie. Shawn already knew that Nikita was a sea monster and he accepted her for who she was. But he had a deep fear of zombies and Nikita knew that if Shawn ever found out she was part zombie, he would be very upset.
"So Sammy, are you sure Amy didn't follow you here?" Nikita asked. "Why didn't you want Amy on the ark again?" Sammy asked. "You know why: Amy is a horrible person and the worst sister ever. She cannot get on this ark!" Nikita said. "But leaving Amy behind is wrong, even if she's a monster." Shawn said. "But don't you remember when she kicked Sammy off her after all of you skydived out of that plane?" Nikita reminded them. "Yeah, I definitely remember that." Sammy said scornfully. "So it should be reasonable to leave her behind to teach her a lesson." Nikita said.
But suddenly out of nowhere, Amy appeared in the crowds. She walked towards her sister and her friends with a smug on her face. The gang wasn't happy to see Amy arriving at the evacuation site, especially Sammy. She was disappointed that her mean and cruel twin sister had followed her to another location. She feared that Amy was going to ruin her image just like when they were contestants on Total Drama.
"Amy! What are you doing here?!" Nikita asked. "What do you mean "what am I doing here?" I'm evacuating, duh!" Amy said. "YOU were not supposed to be here!" Sammy said. "I'm not letting you ruin my life again!"
Amy, however, was unfazed by Sammy's comment. Rodney was behind her carrying her stuff with his bare hands. He didn't seem to mind as he was in love with Amy, but he would immediately fall for another girl soon enough. It was obvious that Amy was taking advantage of Rodney, treating him like a servant like she did with Sammy. But he's too blinded by love to see who Amy truly was: a selfish, cruel, evil person who takes advantage of anyone she sees fit as useful to her. Nikita and her friends actually started thinking that Rodney was the one who told Amy about the ark hoping to win her love.
"Well I'd love to stay and chat, but I have more important things to do than listening to you losers. Come Rodney." Amy said. "Coming Amy, my love." Rodney said lovingly. "See you soon, sis."
As soon as Amy was out of sight, Sammy started getting really upset.
"I can't believe Amy is here! That no-good cow!" She said, angrily clenching her fists. "Don't worry about it, Samey. Just stay away from her as best you can." Jasmine said. "I'll try." Sammy said. "As long as the two of you are separated, she won't bother you." Shawn said.
Nikita ushers the three onto the ark just as NightStar was returning with more people. She was relieved that her best friend had returned unharmed.
"NightStar! You're back!" She exclaimed. "Of course I am! You didn't think I'd forget about our mission, did you?" NightStar asked. "Obviously!" Nikita said.
Some noises were heard in NightStar's backpack and there was a rustling sound.
"Oh! I almost forgot." She said. "Nikki, I brought along some familiar faces."
She opened her pack to reveal the trolls: Poppy and the Snack Pack! Nikita was overjoyed to see her troll friends. But not only that, NightStar managed to gather all the troll tribes to enter the ark too.
"Nikki!" Poppy shouted. "Poppy! I'm so glad you guys made it." Nikita said.
