Sabotage is the Key to Win
"Quick, three Tarantulas and four Krabs heading your way," Jeremy shouts out from the lab. at the same time, itching the mole on his right hand. "We're on it!" Ulrich said. While Ulrich, Ash, and Dawn deal with the Tarantulas, Yumi, Odd, Allison, and Brock deal with the Krabs. Ulrich jumps in mid-air and tries a sneak attack when he freezes and teleports in from the monsters, and he is hit. "Ulrich? Where did you go?" Dawn asks. She defeats one monster and tries to multiply, but when she does, she freezes. One of her copies teleports in front of a Krab, which causes Allison to miss, and Dawn gets hit. "What?" Yumi asks. She freezes as well and can't move; neither can Allison. Moments later, they both get hit. "What is happening?" Odd asks. Jeremy looks into it. "Jeremy, I think there is a bug," Aelita said. "I think so too, but where, that is the question," Jeremy says. Meanwhile, Ash runs, and moments later, he is hit by a Krab, and so is Brock. "Aelita, now is the time to run for the tower," Odd says as he starts to freeze. Aelita runs, and the monsters try to attack her as well, but they too are glitching. Odd freezes some more and gets hit but a Krab. "Aelita, it looks like the monsters are also affected; run!" Jeremy shouts. Aelita manages to enter the tower and deactivates it. Back at the lab, Jeremy thinks the bugs were a part of XANA's attack. "I am going to do a few more checks before I head out. "Okay, but don't be too long. Boys' dorm inspections are coming up," Ulrich said. Kiwi tries to leave with Odd, but Odd puts him back. "Look, You'll pass, but then Jim with take you away. So stay here." Odd looks sad, but he decides to jump in Dawn's arms for one last lick. "How cute!" Allison said. Once the others leave, Jeremy sees that XANA had possessed the groundskeeper. "I see," Jeremy said. Back on the boys' floor. Jim gives a long and redundant speech about cleanliness. "Hmm... Where is Belpois?" "You see Jim, Sir. Jeremy's stomach did not agree with lunch and is dealing with the effects.
At breakfast the next morning, Jeremy explains it all. "XANA took over Micheal Riley and had him mess with some programs from the Supercomputer." "The groundskeeper," Ash said. Everyone looks at him. "We have a love-hate relationship with him; go on, Jeremy," Brock said. "Okay. Riley's damage caused a drop in the calculating capacity of the Supercomputer, resulting in the bugs we experienced. Also, the damage is constantly spreading, and that he has three hours to fix it before the Supercomputer becomes unsalvageable, and even now, it's working way slower than before as I tried to launch Return to the Past." "Did it work?" Allison asks. "No." "Is there a way to fix it?" Yumi asks. "I have supplies to fix it in my room. I could go since we don't have class and-" Before Jeremy could finish, Jim comes. "Belpios!" "The inspection!" Jeremy exclaims. "Did you have time to clean your room?" Ulrich asks. "No." "Well, it was nice knowing you," Ash said. "Upstairs!" Jim commands. In Jeremy's room, or should the name be a pigsty, Jeremy sneaks a box with the materials needed to fix the Supercomputer to Aelita. "Belpois! Such a shame from a genius like yourself. Well, you are not going anywhere until you clean this room. And your friends can't stay, so leave!" "Okay, we're going!" Odd said. "Okay, I'm heading to the factory," Aelita said. "To fox the Supercomputer?" Ulrich asks. "Yeah. Which is what Jeremy meant when he gave me the box." "Okay, I think Dawn and I could keep you company," Allison said. "Okay, then we will hear from you," Ash said. As Aelita is fixing the data boards, Jeremy is cleaning his room.` Then he notices an activated tower on his computer, but Jim turns it off. "Clean!" Jim said. At the same time, Dawn tells Aelita, "Aelita, I think XANA activated a tower." "Okay, let me see," Aelita said. She goes to the lab and sees the tower is in the Ice Sector. "Okay, let me finish the section I started while you contact the boys." "Okay," Allison said. "But will you finish?" "The changes I will make will be a temporary solution. Once we deal with XANA, Jeremy and I can fix the others boards." Allison calls Ulrich. "Your services are needed." "I see. Well, your boyfriend left to talk to your brother about something, but we can call him," Ulrich said. "Oh boy, well, see you soon!" As the boys head for the factory, XANA has taken over the tree roots and trapped them on the ground. "Have you seen Cancel Chopper?" Brock asks. "No. I am trying to find a date for the movie," Odd said. "Well, spoiler alert: this is it!" Yumi runs away from her field trip and ends up being grab by a root. Jeremy cleans his room and is free to leave. However, a box falls on Jim's head. Jeremy runs into the park and sees his friends on the ground. He manages to free Ulrich and Brock before he is trapped. "Go! We'll be fine!" Jeremy said. "Wait! Did the movie have a happy ending?" Odd asks. Brock looks at him. "Real life is not a movie!"
Ulrich and Brock reach the factory and don't see Yumi. "Yumi's not here?" Ulrich asks. "No," Allison asks. Ulrich calls her again, bit Yuminis being dragged to an area but a root. "Ulrich, I'll be fine. Please don't wait for me! Help!" Yumi screams. "Okay-where's Ash?" Dawn asks. "Maybe he got caught by one of the tree roots," Aelita said. Allison is by the elevator. "Come on; we have people to save! Love interests to rescue!" Brock smiles. "To the Ice Sector!" "I will send the boys first and us ladies after," Aelita said. "Okay!" Allison said. Back at the park, Jeremy and Odd struggle to get free. "I will always hug a tree with this is over," Odd said. As Jeremy struggles, he notices the roots pixellating. "That's it. I have a plan!" "What, fire!" Odd shouts. "No. When I give the signal, we need to pull ourselves up with all our might." Odd looks at Jeremy. "What! Then what the fuck have we been doing!" "Odd, trust me!" Odd rolls his eyes. At the next pixelation, they pull and free themselves. "Reminding me again never to doubt you," Odd said. Jeremy laughs as they head for the factory. On Lyoko, the warriors come face to face with Tarantulas. "Let's see if we can settle the score," Brock said. Ulrich and Brock attempt to battle the monsters as the girls head for the tower, but the bugs kick in. "Let me try," Allison said. She flies up and tries to hit one of the monsters, but she freezes and falls. However, she can activate her tiara shield. "Allison, how are you holding up?" Dawn shouts. "Me! Well, the shield is fine, but nobody can do anything!" "We need to retreat for now. Maybe Jeremy and Odd will get here!" Aelita said. They all retreat to an ice structure. Meanwhile, the roots drag Yumi to a naturally occurring fissure in the ground filled with possessed roots and attempt to pull her in. "Hello, can someone hear me? Help!" She looks down and sees Ash lying unconscious on a tree root. "Ash! Wake up! Somebody help us!" Back on Lyoko, "Our weapons are no use," Dawn said. "Maybe I can use my powers to defeat one of them," Aelita said. So, Aelita used her currently defective powers to create an iceberg. "All right!" The others said. "Now, one more!" Brock said. However, XANA sent some Krabs. "Come on," Allison said. As they try to defeat the monsters, all they hear is a "What about me!" "Odd!" They shout. Odd arrives on his Overboard and saves them. "Thanks!" Dawn said. "Did you miss me?" Jeremy asks. "Yes!" The others said Jeremy sends in the Overwing and the Overbike. Everything was smooth sailing for about thirty seconds until all of the vehicles disappeared. "Ouch! What the fuck?" Allison shouts. "Sorry, with the Supercomputer losing power, no transportation," Jeremy said. "Then onward on foot," Brock said. So said, so done a Megatank! Back in the woods, Yumi is pulled into the fissure. Ash awakes when he hears Yumi fall. "Yumi? Where the hell are we? Ahh!" Ash screams as more roots come towards them. Meanwhile, Jeremy finishes the repairs, but he doesn't have enough power to reboot ."Sorry, Jeremy. I thought I did enough," Aelita said. "No, you did. If we can deactivate the tower, I can use that power to reboot the Supercomputer." "How can we? It is pixel town," Ulrich said. As they run from the now two mega tanks, Aelita spots a Way Tower. "I have an idea." "No, Aelita!" Jeremy said. "But if I do it-" "No, then we will lose the Ice Sector." "Can you share the details?" Odd asks. "Look. We need the energy from the deactivated tower to reboot the Supercomputer. However, we can't since we are all bugged up. So if I enter Code: XANA, that we deactivate the tower," Aelita said. "But we'll love this Sector. What a plan." Brock said. "Well, Yumi and Ash are being attacked by tree roots, and clearly, we can't even get to the tower at this rate," Allison said. Aelita shakes her head and runs towards the Way Tower, which is unguarded. "Look, with the slowness of the Supercomputer, some of you have to devitalize yourselves," Jeremy said. "Okay, We can start," Dawn said. Dawn, Allison, and Brock take themselves out first as Ulrich and Odd watch Aelita enters the Way Tower. On Earth, the roots slowly suffocate Ash and Yumi, but in the nick of time, Aelita enters Code: XANA and thus, makes the Ice Sector disappear and deactivate the tower. Ash and Yumi climb out. "If going to make peace with your sister's boyfriend leads to this, never again," Ash teases as Yumi laughs. On Lyoko, Odd, Ulrich, and Aelita prepare to take themselves out. "So, Aelita hits Odd, Odd hits me, I hit Aelita," Ulrich said. "On three." "Wait, do we hit on or after three?" Odd asks. "Odd!" Ulrich and Aelita shout. "You always fucking do this!" "Sorry," Odd said. "Three!" Aelita, Odd, and Ulrich take themselves out. On Earth, Jeremy reboots the Supercomputer. Later in his room, Jeremy recaps what happened. "Now, I have to double down on finding direct access to Sector Five." At the same time, Ulrich and Allison are tending to Yumi and Ash. "I know, our adventure caused us the Ice Sector," Yumi said. "I am wondering, where did Ash go?" Odd asks. Ash grumbles. "My brother wants Ash to talk me down before his girlfriend asks me for a double date," Allison said. "Date?" Brock asks. "Your brother, Ash, has a girlfriend?" Dawn asks. "Yes. My brother, who claims that relationships a trivial, meet Moxie at the rave and fell for her hard," Allison said. They all laugh as Odd knocks down a box of Jeremy's stuff.
A few days later, Ulrich is reading a manga. "Maybe I should write in my diary. It has been a few days, and a lot has happened to me." Ulrich opens his bedside drawer and takes out his diary, and writes in it.
Dear Diary,
It has been a whirlwind. First, Jeremy told us that he made the program for direct access to Sector Five. But before that, I failed another test. It was so bad that I could have been placed in a remedial class. Anyway, back to Jeremy, I was the poor unfortunate soul that was the guinea pig. It was weird. Everyone thought I disappeared and was hard on Jeremy. But in real life, the program separated my body and mind. As Dawn told me, it was an episode of Dr. Shank! So, I have to inhabit the body of someone to speak. First, it was Kiwi. he jumped into me. Then it was Jim. I had to make sure I stayed with my friends. I had to "promise" to teach Ms. Hertz to dance. Yuck! Anyway, my body was possessed by XANA. So the gang had to deal with that. In the end, I have to thank them. They really came through for me. Plus. I heard Yumi took it the hardest when I "disappeared." I don't know how to feel about that. I mean, she makes me feel something, but she wants to be friends! Whatever.
Ulrich puts his diary away and looks outside. "Maybe I'll chat with Allison; I want to hear about her double date of doom." Allison is writing in her diary about what happened to Odd and Dawn's reaction to it.
Dear Diary,
I mean, if you thought having a twin was rough, try triplets! Odd wanted a special power like all of us. So Jeremy gave him teleportation. It was bad. Aelita and I went with him, but he ended up with two copies. They think like him and everything. You know, Dawn has a massive crush on him, and boy, watching her sweat was funny. However, XANA created a fog that turns people to stone. That was in Decapitator Dairies. The fog turned one of the clones to stone. However, Jeremy found the cure in the nick of time. Plus, Dawn told me that each clone flirted with her. She was confused, which is how she found out about them. Anyway, I noticed that Jeremy has a mole on his right hand that grows bigger. He tells me not to worry.
Allison hears a knock on the door. "Hey, Ulrich." "Hey, how was the date?" "It didn't happen." "Why?" "I don't know. It will happen next week, and wait, have you seen my math book?" "Jeremy's room." "Great! Have you noticed-" "The mole? Yeah. We have, but everyone else has not! I'm concerned!" Moments later, there was a bang. "What was that?" Allison asks. "I don't know," Ulrich said. Ulrich looks at the window as Jeremy calls. "Duty calls," "You mean like a giant worm in the ground!" Allison shouts. "What?" Jeremy shouts. "Yeah! And I see Ash and Odd trying to spray it," Ulrich said. On Lyoko, XANA has sent in all forces to deal with the Warriors as Ash, Odd, and Dawn tackle the Lord of the Worms. Once Aelita has made it to the tower, she sees a message. Sabotage is the Key to Success. "What does that mean?" Aelita asks. "I am not sure," Jeremy said as he itches the mole. Allison thinks about it. "Well," Yumi said. "XANA did that with the Supercomputer. It doesn't do that same thing twice." Aelita enters the code, and Jeremy launches an RTTP as the worm wraps around Ash, Brock, and Dawn.
It was five in the morning, and Allison wakes up. "I forgot my math book again!" She gets up and goes to his room. When she gets there, she screams. "Jeremy!" Jeremy is pale on the ground; he breathes slowly and looks lifeless. Jim enters the room. "Allison, why are you in Belpois' room?" Jim stops when he sees Jeremy. "Jeremy!" Mr. Delmas enters. "We need to call 911!" Mr. Delmas said. Ash and Brock wake up to sirens. "What the fuck?" Brock shouts. He opens the door and sees a stretcher. "Who is that for?" Ash asks. Odd and Ulrich wake up and see a crowd. "Jeremy's room, let's go," Ulrich said. Allison looks on Jeremy's computer and sees a message, and cries. The girls woke up. "What is the noise?" Sissi shouts. Allison walks down the hall and shakes her head. "Allison? What is wrong?" Dawn asks. She cries. "XANA put Jeremy in a coma!" "What!" Aelita shouts. "XANA! The mole was a virus that XANA planted in Jeremy. He is in a coma!" Allison shouts as she cries. Aelita collapses as Allison and Dawn hold her. Ash and Brock hold it together. They had followed her upstairs. Ulrich and Odd were confused. "What! Coma! Is he going to be okay?" Odd asks. "We're not sure. It seems sudden!" Mr. Delmas said. "XANA!" Ulrich said. On Jeremy's screen, the Eye of XANA flashes red.
Jeremy's in a coma! What a plot twist! With only the Mountian Sector left, XANA has the advantage! That leaves the group vulnerable Plus, XANA can harm Jeremy!
