Jeremy's Coma-Gotta Go Hard
Aelita sits under a tree and listens to the wind and the Pokemon around her. Aelita tries to do some work, but all she thinks about is Jeremy. "It has been six days. I miss you!" Aelita cries out. She lays down and looks at the clouds. Meanwhile, Allison and Odd are in the principal's office. "Okay, so if the cheerleaders agree to the fundraiser, the film club can use the money for new equipment," Mr. Delmas said. "Do we have to?" Allison asks. "Yes, you do. The reason I am asking you is becasue I know that my daughter and Mr. Della Robbia don't see eye-to-eye." "That is an understatement," Odd said. Next, Mr. Delmas gets a phone call. "Excuse me, students," Mr. Delmas said. "Where are Jeremy's parents coming?" Odd asks. "Today, I think. Weirdly, it took them this long to come to see their only son," Allison said. "Good news," Mr. Delmas interruupts. "Tomorrow is Pizza Day?" Odd asks. "No. It's Jeremy Belpois. He is awake." "Awake! Are you sure?" Allison asks. "Yes. I was speaking with his doctor. Three classmates can see him later today. However, we need to discuss the fundraiser and-" Allison and Odd left after they heard Jeremy is awake. Ash, Brock, Ulrich, and Yumi play a Galaxy Bros. Kart tournament on their Nintendo Switch devices. "I am coming for you, Ulrich," Ash said. "Not even, hey, where did the flying shell come from?" Ulrich asks. "The risk of being in the first place," Brock said. "Not for me," Yumi said. Dawn walks by and laughs. "The game that ends friendships." Allison and Odd run towards their friends. "We have news about Jeremy; where is Aelita?" Odd says while out of breath. "Jeremy, what about?" Dawn asks. "We need to Aelita first; where is she?" Allison asks. "I think she is at the park," Ash said. At the park, Ash J, Moxie, and Rocky meet up with Aelita. "Hey, how are you feeling?" Ash J asks. "Fine. I am conflicted," Aelita said. "I heard Jeremy's folks are coming to town today," Rocky said. "That's right. I am glad becasue maybe Jeremy can sense his parents and wake up," Aelita said. "I think it is weird that his parents are coming now. It has been six days," Mosie said. "They were traveling overseas," Aelita said. The rest of the group runs towards Aelita. "We have news," Yumi said. "What?" Aelita asks. "Jeremy's awake," Odd said. "What!" Everyone said. "Yeah. The hospital called Mr. Delmas. Jeremy is awake and can have three student visitors," Allison said. 'That is great!" Aelita said. Ulrich pulls Brock aside. "Now that Jeremy is awake, XANA might want to finish the job." "I agree. I think I might go to the hospital with Aelita as backup," Brock said.
Aelita arrives at the hospital with Yumi, Brock, and Odd. Yumi and Brock wait outside the room as Aelita and Odd walk into the room. "Jeremy!" Allison cries as she hugs Jeremy. "Aelita!" Jeremy exclaims. Jeremy squeezes Aelita tight as he hugs her. "Nice to hear you, Einstein," Odd said. "Likewise. How long has it been?" Jeremy asks. "Six days," Odd said. "Six days. What happened? How is everyone? How is Lyoko? XANA?" Aelita and Odd fill Jeremy in on everything. Brock and Yumi talk to each other in the meantime. "I'm glad that Jeremy is awake and on the mends," Brock said. "I agree. however, I do agree with Allison. Weirdly, Jeremy's parents took this long to come," Yumi said. "Oh, we can explain, " Micheal states. In Jeremy's room, Dawn decides to clean it. The room is clean, but Dawn thinks it should be "cleaner" as Jeremy is being released tonight to tomorrow. "Move those boxes over there," Dawn said. Ash shouts. "Dawn, you can help, you know!" "I am. I am directing traffic," Dawn said. "More like dictating," Ulrich mumbles while Ash laughs. "What was that?" Dawn asks. Allison arrives with fresh sheets and pillows and treats for Jeremy. "What did miss?" Allison asks. "The boys being slow as fuck," Dawn said. "Dawn being lazy as fuck!" Ash said. "Or, we can have a snack break," Allison said. "But, we'll get crumbs on the floor," Dawn complains. "Tiny vacuum," Ulrich said. "Plus, it's cookies." "Okay," Dawn said. As they eat, they get an alert on Jeremy's computer. "Hold on," Ulrich said. He clicks on the alert. "There has been an activated tower on Sector Five." "Great, let's call the others," Ash said. "Hold on, what is that?" Dawn points to an alert on the screen. "I wish I knew how to use this program," Ulrich said. "Take your time," Allison said. Ulrich does and reads the alert. "The tower has been activated for days. What, how come we have not noticed." "Does it correlate with Jeremy's coma?" Dawn asks. "I can check," Ulrich said. "It does. One day after the coma." "Then what is the attack?" Ash asks. Allison looks at an unread email from Sky Points. "I know about Sky Points. It is an airline reward system. You can set up an account with your child, so the family can know when someone lands." "So this email tells us that Jeremy's parents landed today," Dawn said. "Hold on; this email was days ago. Should we open it?" Ulrich asks. "Yes. It could have a clue," Ash said. "Okay." Ulrich opens the email, and everyone is shocked. Back at the hospital, Jeremy's parents enter the room and surprise Jeremy. "Mom! Dad!" Jeremy exclaims. "Hello, Jeremy," Sharon said. "Hi, son," Micheal said. "Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Belpois," Odd and Aelita said. "Hello. Thank you for being there for our son," Sharon said. Sharon smiles at the children, but Odd gets a creepy feeling. As Jeremy and his parents talk, Odd gets a phone call. "Odd, is everything okay?" Ulrich asks. "Yeah, why?" Odd asks. "Because XANA has activated a tower on Sector Five." "It did. Okay, let me talk to Aelita." Aelita walks over and listens in. "The tower has been activated for days," Ulrich said. "How we would have known," Aelita said. "XANA has been busy. However, we also found an automatic email that states that Jeremy's parents around days ago." "But that doesn't make sense. Travel stuck them overseas," Odd said. Aelita looks out the door and notices that Brock and Yumi are not there. "Excuse me, have you seen our friends?" Aelita asks. "Of course, they went to the restroom," Micheal said. "Ulrich, are you sure?" Odd asks. "Yes, I think XANA is behind it," Ulrich said. Allison gets a call from Yumi. "Yumi? Why do you sound like a Torous have hit you?" "Because XANA passes Jeremy's parents," Yumi said. "Or, their clones." "Clones?" "Yeah. XANA stashed Jeremy's real parents somewhere." Sharon speaks to Aelita. "We would like some alone time with our pumpkin. If you don't mind." "Pumpkin? You call me bunny," Jeremy said. Sharon looks at Micheal. "No, we call you pumpkin," Micheal said. "No. You don't!" Micheal gets mad. "Ulrich, meet you at the factory," Odd said. Jeremy gets up, and Micheal pins him down. "You should have died!" XANA-Micheal said. "XANA!" Aelita shouts. Odd charges at XANA-Micheal, but XANA-Sharon grabs him. Aelita grabs the defibrillator and shocks the couple. Jeremy changes into scrubs, and the three run down the hall and run into Yumi and Brock, who look beaten up.
"What happened?" Jeremy asks. "Your parents. Or XANA parents. Allison told us that your birth parents landed days ago. They went to a hotel, and maybe XANA drugged them," Brock said. Ash calls Brock. "Hello, are you okay?" We are at the factory?" "We're okay. You're right. They're clones. We need to deactivate the tower at Sector Five," Brock said. "Sector Five. That means we have to get past the Mountian Sector and XANA is not to make it easy," Jeremy said. "Yes, that means we need Yumi on Lyoko. She hasn't been in a few days, and she has the skills we need," Ash said. "No way. I am better suited here on Earth," Yumi said. "Let's asks our leader. Jeremy?" "I think Yumi should go to Lyoko," Jeremy said. "But-" Yumi tries to object. "Yumi, I heard that you went through a lot protecting me. I think you should go to Lyoko." Yumi smiles. "Thank you." "Great, that leaves Brock and me to deal with the Parents from Hell," Odd said. "Yeah, what!" Brock said. They all laughed as they made their way to the factory. Everyone there hugs Jeremy. "Jeremy, don't scare me like that!" Dawn said. "We survive, but you good buddy, you are the best at the chair," Ulrich said. "Adding to that. Jeremy, welcome back," Ash said. Allison is the last to hug Jeremy. "I heard it was you that found me," Jeremy said. "Yeah," Allison said. "Thank you!" "Don't do that again!" Allison said. Jeremy chuckles. "Okay, let's send you all to the Mountain Sector. I'll try to send you close to the edge so you all can board the transport." Everyone nods. At the park, XANA-Micheal and XANA-Sharon sprint to the factory to the factory. Odd and Brock set a trap for them. Well, it was Brock's idea. "Where did you get this idea from?" Odd asks. "Let's say some old acquaintances gave me inspiration," Brock said. The clones walk over to the maintenance hole and fall hole. Then Brock and Odd pulled on a rope and trapped them in a net. "This may hold them for a while," Odd said. XANA-Sharon electrified the netting, and the two escaped. However, Brock and Odd attack them. "XANA, you lost!" Odd said. XANA-Micheal shocks the ground, and Brock and Odd run. "Try me," XANA-Micheal said.
On Lyoko, the Warriors race down the Mountian Sector and come face to face with blue Krabs. "Blue Krab?" Yumi asks. "Yumi. We have seen some fucked up monsters this week," Allison said. The blue Krabs shoot foam that stinks its targets. "Gross. It looks like it has rabies," Dawn said. 'It does. We have to defeat this as fast as possible," Yumi said. Ulrich triplicates himself and takes out one Krab. Aelita takes out one as well. "There are two Krabs left," Ash said. Allison makes a bow and arrow and shoots at one Krab while Yumi uses her fans at the other one. "You mean, there are no Krabs, Ash," Aelita teases. Ash smiles as the transport comes for the group. Once in Sector Five, the group has three minutes to find the key. However, XANA has sent blue Creepers. "I'm guessing blue is the theme," Dawn said. The Blue Creepers shoot ice beams at its targets. The arena changes into a spikey field. Dawn jumps in the spikes as she climbs to the top. A creeper aims for Dawn. Ash jumps on a point and uses his sword to send it back, but some parts of his sword are frozen while the creeper is destroyed. "Ash, try to defrost your sword. We have you covered," Ulrich said. "Thanks," Ash said. Allison climbs up and sees two creepers going after Aelita. "There is a hole there. It might be a trap. Aelita! Look out!" Allison shouts. Aelita turns around and sees the hole. Allison shoots a long plasma beam, and it hits the two creepers. Dawn teachers the top and hits the key. A path opens up. "Okay, instead of heading for the elevator, take a left; that would lead you to the tower," Jeremy said. "Yes, sir!" They all said. At the park, Brock and Odd hide from the clones. "It has been a while," Odd said. "I know. This might be a bad thing," Brock said. The brushes move. Brock jumps, but it was an Oddish. "That was close," Brock said. Odd felt something on his back, but it was a Burmy. "Okay, I think we need to calm down," Odd said. Odd bumps into something else, and Brock looks scared. "What's wrong?" Odd asks. "XANA,' Brock said. Odd turns around and sees XANA-Sharon, and Brock turns around and sees XANA-Micheal. Odd hits XANA-Sharon with a pipe, but she picks it up and shocks Odd. Brock hits XANA-Micheal in the groin, but it passes through it. "Fuck!" Brock said. "Fuck is right," Odd said. XANA-Micheal grabs Brock and throws him against a tree. XANA-Sharon shocks Odd again and throws him to the same tree. Then the clone couple heads for the factory. By the tower, XANA has sent gray Mantas. "What is with the colors?" Yumi asks. "Look! The mines explode with fire. That would wipe us all out in one move," Allison said. The Mantas fly as one unit and attack at the same time. "XANA is not slowing down, and neither are we!" Aelita shouts. At the same time, Jeremy hears something, and Odd calls Jeremy. "Jeremy," Odd said in a weak voice. "The clones are coming," Odd said. Jeremy turns around and sees XANA-Sharon. "Hello, son!"
Jeremy tries to run, but XANA-Sharon grabs Jeremy and throws him across the room. XANA-Micheal waits for Odd and Brock. On Lyoko, Aelita calls for Jeremy. "Jeremy! Jeremy!" Aelita calls out. "XANA must be keeping him busy. Which means we need to get to the tower," Dawn said. "Look, there is a huge cap between the surface and the tower. So, we need to throw Aelita over there," Allison said. "Okay, Aelita, go and take cover and we can handle this," Ulrich said. Aelita hides. "Super Sprint," Ulrich said. He sprints over and attacks two mantas. Ash runs and jumps on one Manta. He uses his sword and attacks one while another shoots at him but misses and hits another one. Allison flies up and makes a spear, and charges at two mantas. Dawn multiplies and makes three copies of herself, and they all use their Poi Sticks and attack two monsters. Yumi flips and lands on one Manta and allows another one to aim at her, and she uses her fan to deflect the move and hit that Manta and the one she is riding. "Okay, we are making great progress," Ash said. The room shakes, and the remaining mantas form a mega manta and release two mines that set the whole room on fire. "What the fuck?" Aelita asks. "What the fuck, indeed," Yumi said. On Earth, Brock and Odd see XANA-Micheal, alone. "Where is the other one?" Brock asks. "With Jeremy. One of us needs to go and help him," Odd said. "You pick." "I'll stay." "Okay, see you soon!" Brock sneaks past XANA-Micheal. "Hey, SOB," he said. "Hey, fuck off, my friend!" Odd shouts as he attacks XANA-Micheal. Brock takes the elevator. XANA-Sharon attacks Jeremy. Jeremy is still weak from the coma, so he has to take it easy. He founds from earlier in the week. "Hey, fetch this bitch!" Jeremy throws the bone, and it hits XANA-Sharon. The clone gets up and shocks the room. Jeremy gulps as Brock enters. "Holy cow," Brock said. Brock hits XANA-Sharon on the head, but she turns her head around. "Never get in between a boy and his mother!" She shocks Brock, but Jeremy jabs her with the pipe, and she faints. On Lyoko, the warriors look at tye mega Manta. "Any ideas?" Ulrich asks. "I can make a mega spear but to get it close to the shit show is another story," Allison said. "If we can distract, Allison can go in for the kill," Ash said. "Remember, the goal is to get Aelita to the tower, "Dawn said. "We can do that as well," Yumi said. Yumi and Dawn come out and start to attack the mega Manta. The monster hides among the flames. Yumi uses her telekinesis to move the flames out of the way. Dawn uses her Poi stick to attack the monster. Next, XANA sends four blue Creepers. "Part 2," Ulrich said. Ulrich and Ash deal with the creepers. Ash uses his telekinesis powers to move the flames towards the creepers as Ulrich attacks them. Yumi and Dawn attack the mega Manta some more. Allison moves in as she prepares for the shot. On the factory floor, Odd battles with XANA-Micheal. Odd finds water shooters and attacks the clone with high-pressure water. XANA-Micheal is soaked, but he gets charged up and aims right for Odd. Odd hides behind a pole. XANA-Micheal shocks all of the poles, and Odd goes down. In the lab, XANA-Sharon wakes up and sends electromagnetic waves into the air as Brock and Jeremy take cover. Brock gets up to jab the clone again, but XANA-Sharon grans the pole and throws Brock across the room. Jeremy grabs the pole and hits the clone again, but this time, he gets shocked. On Lyoko, Allison throws the spear. "Aelita, run!" Allison shouts. The spear hits the mega Manta as a creeper aims at Aelita. Ash blocks the attack as Ulrich grabs Aelita and swings her into the tower as XANA-Micheal and XANA-Sharon prepare for the end. Aelita enters the Code Lyoko, and the clones disappear. Jeremy programs an RTTP. "Won't you be in a coma?" Brock asks. "No. Since the coma was XANA doing, I'll wake up at school, and everyone will think I was sick." Brock smiles. "Welcome back!" "Return to the Past, now!" Jeremy states.
At school, everyone is happy that Jeremy is feeling better and no longer on "bed rest." Jeremy sits outside and works on the Sector Five Virtualization program. "Aelita, these calculations are great. We can use this for sure." Aelita smiles and kisses Jeremy, which causes him to blush. "Aelita," Jeremy said. "Jeremy," Aelita said. Before anything can happen, the group shows up. "Picnic!" Dawn said. "Brock made his famous sandwiches, and we brought lots of fruit," Ash said. "Well, Odd ate his fruit," Allison said. "Hey, the watermelon was good!" Odd said. "As you can see, Jeremy, nothing has changed," Ulrich said. "Except our understanding of the Supercomputer. We learned a lot," Yumi said. "At times, one of us had to manage the Supercomputer and you a lot. Thank you," Brock said. "Thank you," Jeremy says. They all raise a glass (of juice) and toast. "To the Lyoko Warriors and friendship!" Jeremy says.
Whoa, Jeremy's awake. What a killer story. Wait, did XANA back down? No! XANA has another attack for the Warriors. Plus, with the stress of this week and weeks to come, it may be time to reconsider adding a new evil twin- member. A new member is what's coming.
