The Day Lyoko Stood Still
The morning of William's initiation into the group has arrived. Dawn brushes her hair. "I think adding William to the team is going to be a good thing." "Why?" Allison asks. "Becasue William is not on Jim's radar. It can make a huge difference." "True, and now that we can get into Sector Five directly, I think we have a much fairer fight." Meanwhile, the boys talk among themselves. "Are you sure?" Odd asks. "I told you. I'll be fine. I wanted William in the group," Ulrich said. "Then he can impress Yumi all the time," Ash said. "I hope not," Brock said. "Team Ulrich?" Jeremy teases. "Yes, but mainly because Yumi said that she still thinks he's a hothead. However, we can be a positive influence on him." "I think we made the right choice," Jeremy said. In the courtyard, Aelita and Yumi catch up with each other. "I am okay with this. I think if we lay down the law with William, we can be a good team," Yumi said. "Lay down the law?" Aelita asks. "Yes. He needs to understand how Lyoko works." "I agree. We all can help me." William does sit up in his room. "I can wait to fight some XANA ass. It can't handle me!" William leaves the scanner. "Welcome to the group!" Dawn said. "I'm ready to fight XANA!" He said. "Be careful!" Yumi said. "XANA is not a video game. It is a super-intelligent program that wants to take over the world." "Ya, ya!" He said. "Maybe for the first few times, hang back and watch us a few times to learn," Aelita said. "I can handle it," William said. "This isn't a video game, William. XANA is no joke," Odd said. "If we can count the near-death experiences," Ulrich said. "Trust me, I can handle it," William said. "Now that you are immune to the RTTP, how do you feel?" Jeremy asks. "I feel good!" William said. Ash whispers to Allison. "I hope XANA doesn't try to test William as it did to us." I think so. Especially since there was some hesitancy among the group," Allison said. Brock nods. "I agree. We have to make sure XANA doesn't get to William."
The Warriors are all busy. Yumi is stuck babysitting. "Don't even try to escape. I will tell mom," Hiroki said. Yumi rolls her eyes. Odd is entering a skateboard competition with Ulrich watching. "I am ready. I am as steady as a horse," Odd said. Od walks proudly but runs into an old girlfriend, Samantha. "Sam!" Odd trips on his board. "Steady as a horse?" Ulrich teases. Jeremy is being interviewed for the Kadic news. "What do you eat for breakfast?" Milly asks. "Cereal," Jeremy answers. "Milk or juice?" "Hot chocolate." "This is boring," Tamiya said. Milly and Tamiya are interviewing Jeremy because he was the class Valedictorian. Beforehand, Aelita and Jeremy modified a program to locate Aelita's father, Franz Hopper. Since Jeremy is trapped with the Kadic news, Allison decides to keep Aelita company instead. "I'll go with you. I think the moral support will give you good luck," Allison said. "Thanks," Aelita said as she hugged her cousin. "Let's hope nothing goes wrong." Dawn and Ash have to make up a science exam. "Since you two skipped it lat time, take all the time you'll need. You're lucky your not getting detention as well," Ms. Herts said with an evil smile. "Thanks, XANA," Ash said. Brock is working on a paper for English class. "I need to concentrate, but I feel like today, things will change and not for the better," Brock said to himself. Then, Mr. Delmas approaches Ulrich. "You have a visitor. "Who?" Ulrich asks. "Your father," Walter said. "We need to talk about your grades!" Then XANA attacks the core."We spoke too soon," Allison said. "Don't worry, I just call William, and you try to get the others," Aelita said. William is on his way. Ulrich tries to tell Odd, but he has to skate, so he tells Odd's crush, Sam, but she delays telling him, and Ulrich has to deal with his father for a while. "Where is Ulrich?" Odd asks. "I'm not sure," Sam said. Ms. Hertz took away Dawn and Ash's phones, so they had to wait. Brock is on his way, and Yumi is trying to escape her brother. Jeremy tries to escape his boring interview. "You ready, William!" Aelita asked. "Yes!" He said. So William, Aelita, and Allison go to Sector Five.
William, Aelita, and Allison enter Sector Five. "Okay, we have three minutes to activate the key, so we need to hustle," Allison said. "Okay," William said. As the three make their way to the key, Creepers emerge. "Careful, they are dangerous and ugly," Aelita said. "No problem!" William said. William uses his weapon to destroy some Creepers. Allison makes some plasma balls to attack two Creepers. "So you make your weapons," William says. "Look, we need to stall so Aelita can get the key," Allison said. "I made it; let's get to the elevator," Aelita said. "But there are two more," William said. "Leave them. You need as many of your life points as possible," Allison said. "Come on; I can deal with them." The room changes, and Allison, Aelita, and William are separated from each other. "Aelita, William, where are you?" Allison asks. Jeremy rushes to the factory as he recalls how he escapes his tormentors. Jeremy went to the bathroom and escaped from the window. "I see why people do that on horrible dates," Jeremy said. William wonders around until he sees the Scyphozoa. "Whoa, what is this jellyfish?" William asks. Aelita can hear William from the other side of the wall. "William, don't! That monster is dangerous!" "No way, it is a fish, which I can squish!" William shouts. Jeremy enters the lab and sees William trying to battle the jellyfish monster. "William, run. I'll try and open a while to you can escape," Jeremy said. William tries to battle the monster but gets caught. Then Jeremy's screen goes blank. "Fuck! Aelita, Allison, William!" Aelita enters the room where William is, and he looks at her. "Don't worry, I feel great!" William says in his possessed voice. "William!" Aelita tries to strike him, but he deflects the attacks. Aelita runs, and William stabs her in the back. Allison runs into the room next. "Where is Aelita?" "She lost her life points," William said. "Oh no!" "Don't worry! It is all part of XANA's plan!" Allison realizes that William is under XANA's control. As she runs, William jumps and stabs her in the back. Allison sits in one of the scanners as she sees Aelita. She helps her up, and they make their way to the factory. "Your grades fucking suck!" Walter shouts. "Hey, I thought you always tell me to watch my mouth!" Ulrich says. "Only with your mother! You need to hear some real truths. I invested in your education, and I need results. I mean a small investment!" "Dad, do you know what it means to be a teenager?" "Bull. I had good grades at your age!" "You know what!" Ulrich shouts back. He gets a call from Jeremy. "Okay. I am so there!" "Where the fuck are you going?" Walter asks. "I am leaving this conversation to where I am needed the most right now. Don't pull a vain, father! See you in November!" Ulrich leaves. Ash and Dawn finish their exam, but Ms. Hertz is sleeping, so they take their phones. "Both Aelita and Jeremy called. XANA must be attacking the core," Dawn said. "Let's see if our recruit is up for it," Ash said. "Come on. I'll do your homework for a month," Yumi said. "No!" Hiroki said. Yumi answers her phone. "Talk to her!" "Mom! Yumi is- hey, this is Jeremy!" Yumi leaves. Brock runs into Ulrich. "How was your report?" Ulrich asks. "Long. Boring. How was the competition?" Brock replies. "I had to leave because my father came." "Ouch. How was that?" "Don't ask." "A shit show!" "Yep!" The boys laugh. Odd answers his phone. "Hey, Jeremy." "Hey, Odd. Sorry to interrupt. Ulrich told me that get left you a message about Lyoko." "He did?" "Yeah, he said that he left a message with Sam." Odd looks at Sam. "Yeah, I'll get there." Odd approaches Sam. "Ulrich left me a message?" "Yeah." "Why didn't you tell me? It was important." "Becasue we haven't hung out in months, and I leave town tonight. I wanted to spend time with you." "But I needed to know. It was not your call to make about the importance of the message." Jim calls out. "Last round. First up, Odd Della Robbia!" Everyone looks around, and Odd has left the building. "Odd!" Jim calls as Sam looks defeated. The group arrives at the lab to see that William and the creepers are attacking the core. "We need to act fast because the first shield is gone. "To Lyoko!" Ash shouts. At the same time, the program to locate Franz Hopper has found something. "This might be the data I need to find your father," Jeremy said. "You mean that I can finally see him today?" Aelita asks. "Yes. I have to get to work right away." "Let's pray that the others can stop William in time," Allison said.
As the other Warriors arrive at the Great Hall, the second and final shield is gone. The room has red cracks. "William!" Ulrich shouts. "Come, and fucking get us!" Wiliam flies down and gains new power from XANA. Dawn attacks a Creeper, and William waves his weapon, and a rush of energy attacks her. Brock is about to shoot a Creeper when William trips him and slashes him in the neck. Ash and Odd are attacking some Creepers when William runs and stabs both of them simultaneously. Ulrich faces off with William. "You know, I wanted you into the group, and this is how you repay us!" William roars. They both move to attack, but William is faster, and he strikes. Yumi finishes attacking a monster when William comes behind and stabs her in the back and between the breast. As she is devitalized, she speaks to William. "I knew it was a bad idea to let you into the group!" Yumi's scanner opens as she sees her defeated friends. Jeremy is rushing to bring back Franz Hopper, but William is faster. As the monsters cheer, Willia looks a little unsure. Nonetheless, he levitates and uses his Zweihänder to destroy the core. "Oh no! I was unable to finish the program," Jeremy says as Aelita cries in Allison's arms, pouring the loss of her father and Lyoko. There is a light and a flash, and Lyoko is gone. Jeremy takes off his headphones. "I don't hear anything," Odd said. "That can't be good!" Brock said. Brock gets a text from Allison. "We should head upstairs." Everyone understood. The heliosphere is gone because there is no Lyoko. There is silence and a sense of death in the air. "We not only lost Lyoko but Franz Hopper and William," Ash said. "Yeah, but I haven't had my father in a long time. William is another story," Aelita said. "I don't want to stay here," Dawn says. "We should get to the Hermitage," Jeremy said. However, William is floating in the air in a dark suit with the Eye of XANA.
At the Hermitage, Aelita looks at a picture of her father. "Someday, we'll bring you back, daddy." "So there is no trace of Lyoko anywhere?" Ulrich asked. "No. Nothing! Now it is going to be harder to deal with XANA." Jeremy said. "The world is at its mercy, and they don't even know it," Ash said. "Could we have done something differently?" Dawn asks. "I mean not have William in the group. XANA took advantage of William's personality," Allison said. "And we were all unable to rush over, which was the prime time to strike," Odd said. "We have to stay positive.," Yumi said. Then Jeremy gets an email. "Email from whom?" Brock asked. "Franz Hopper!"Jeremy said. Everybody froze with confusion.
XANA has won! Lyoko is gone, and William too. Plus, Franz Hopper is lost. However, Yumi's words have mean. Our heroes have to stay positive. Plus, was the above correct? XANA has turned William into its soldier? Then the fight is not over.
