This will probably be more like a bunch of mini-stories that takes place well the group is shipwrecked. There might be some overarching plot lines though.

Naru jolted awake. Sun beat into her eyes. Where was she? She wondered squinting to see.

Naru stood up surveying her surroundings, she was on a boat beached on a tropical island.

Then her memory hit her. The guests of the inn. Had rented a boat to go on a small cruise, But then the bad weather had set in...

She got up hopping off the boat to survey the damage to it. It didn't look too good; there were multiple massive holes.

"Keitaro," she called up to the boat. "Keitaro!"

Waking with a start Keitaro heard the call. He whipped around realizing that Naru was nowhere in sight, "oh no man overboard" gasped as he grabbed the life preserver and dove off the boat.

"I'll save you Naru," he cried. He landed face-first in the sand.

"I don't need saving you, idiot. We've been marooned," Naru exclaimed.

"What does getting mooned mean?" Su asked as she popped out from nowhere. "Is it yummy?"

"Eww, no Su. Not mooned, marooned as in shipwrecked," Naru explained.

"Hey, Keitaro '' came a call. "Could ya help us with our luggage?" a clearly hungover Kitsune asked as she and Mutsumi hobbled up to them.

"Kitsune? Mutsumi? how did you get hungover already?" Naru asked annoyed.

"Don't worry about it hon," Kitsune shooed away the question. "Where's our luggage Keitaro?"

"I'd be happy to get it for you, but where would you like it moved to?" Keitaro asked.

"Ohh wherever the taxi can pick it up and take us back to the inn," Kitsune said nonchalantly.

"Kitsune we are shipwrecked on a Tropic island that doesn't even appear on my map there are no taxies" Naru explained trying not to panic.

"Oh, then couldn't we take the train," Mutsumi asked.

"Tropic island doesn't have trains either. We are strander and may never see the inn again," Naru burst angrily in fear.

"Never?!" Kitsune gasped in shock. "Noooo, all my sake condemned to sit on a shelf and rot forever? Why would you do this to me, author? Whyyyyy?" She cried.

**later**

The whole group had been gathered to listen to the radio they had with them, in hopes a rescue party might be on the way. But instead, they got only bad news.

Radio: At four o'clock yesterday a distress signal from a small boat, the Schwartz, was received, they had been hit by a big storm. Unfortunately, when the coast guard got there it was too late there was no sign of the boat or any survivors. And given the size of the storm, it is unlikely they could have made it to any of the distant islands. So no rescue search will take place.

A truly sad day as the world mourns the loss of its 10 passengers: Motoko Aoyama, Su Kaolla, Mitsune Konno, Shinobu Maehara, Sarah Mcdougal, Naru Narusegawa, Mutsumi Otohime, and Haruka, Kanako, and Keitaro Urashima.

Naru turned the radio off.

"If only we hadn't lost our transmitter in the storm," Shinobu sighed sadly.

"And my sword," Motoko added woefully.

"Hey let's not give up hope," Keitaro said standing up. "Sure we only have enough food for a week, and the boat seems beyond repair, and we have no contact with the outside world, and we are on an island that could be inhabited by cannibals. But that does not mean we are doomed.

"Are you trying to make us feel worse you moron Naru said, hitting him away."

"Haruka, what do you think?" Naru asked the older woman who somehow still had cigarettes to smoke.

Haruka sat there for a moment thinking as smoke continued to drift into the air. "I think our best bet to get off the island is to build a raft form palm trees and try to send a group to reach the mainland,"

"Okay, then that is what we will do," Naru decided.

**a few days later**

It had taken days but Keitaro had finally done it. He was about ready to cry in the pure bliss of the effort it had taken.

He had managed to cut down and pull one palm tree to the built sight. Bursting with pride he injured onto the beach they had been building on. Only to find the raft had already been finished.

"Keitaro, what took you so long we finished the raft hours ago," Kitsune called.

Crying Keitaro ditched his palm tree and joined the others.

"Okay," Haruka announced. "The raft is only big enough to send a group of three so let's draw lots for who goes and stays. The longest sticks are the ones that go," She said holding out cigarette buds.

"Uhh, Aunt Haruka, why are the sticks cigarettes?" Keitaro started to ask.

"Don't call me aunt," Haruka said as she hit him. "In case you didn't notice palm trees lack sticks,"

They all drew their cigarettes. Naru, Keitaro, and Su had the longest "sticks".

"Looks like you're the lucky ones," Kitsune said as she patted Naru on the back.

"But be careful there could be natives on other islands" Haruka warned.

"What's so bad about that?" Sarah asked.

"Lots of natives around here are headhunters," Haruka explained.

"You mean like flower heads?" Kitsune asked.

"No, they collect human heads," Haruka answered.

"Are we sure we have to try and get off? It seems like a nice island. Why don't we stay awhile?" Keitaro said, trying to talk his way out of going.

But even his sister couldn't save him, as they were sent out to sea.

**later**

"Everywhere I look it's nothing but water," Keitaro complained as he paced around the boat.

"Keitaro, calm down" Naru scolded him.

"I don't want to be calm, I'm sick of the water, I'm tired of rowing, I can't stand it," Keitaro complained.

"But we have only been out here for 2 hours," Su reminded him.

But as the hours turn into days of rowing, it starts to seem like they may never reach the mainland.

"Keitaro I'm hungry," Su whined, "can we have breakfast?"

"We've had breakfast already," Keitaro reminds her.

"Then let's have lunch," Su suggested.

"We've had lunch," Naru responded.

"Then let's have dinner."

Keitaro and Naru just looked at her.

"We've had dinner too." Su said sadly.

"Besides we are running low on food we only have this little bit in this box left" Kietaro said as he opened the box only to find it empty.

"Sorry, I had a snack," Su said sheepishly.

Naru was about to shout her anger at Su when she noticed something much more dire behind her.

Sharks had surrounded the boat.

"Ahhhag," Keitaro as he jumped into Naru's arms.

"Relax," Naru said annoyed, as she threw Keitaro out of her arms. "Sharks only attack if they smell blood,"

As keitaro pushed himself up from the deck of the boat where he was thrown. Naru and Su noticed that he had gotten a splinter and was bleeding.

"Okay now we can panic," Naru amended.

"Argah" they all screamed. As they huddled closer to the center of the raft.

The sharks were swarming closer now that there was blood.

"Quick Su, didn't Kanako and Haruka make a shark-repellent?" Naru asked.

"They did," Su answered guiltily. "It was delicious".

Panic ensued once more.

**meanwhile back on the island**

Shinobu and Sarah were walking back to the temporary camp they had set up. They had been lucky enough to find plenty of bananas, coconut, payaias, and other food. But despite their luck Shinobu was still worried about Keitaro, Naru and Su. They've been gone for 6 days now and there was still no signs of rescue.

Sarah was less worried. "You really think that a little seawater will get the best of that moron? He's immortal. As much as it pains me we've established that as fact,"

Maybe, but what about us were going to go crazy on this island.

Out of pure coincidence they happened to pass Kitsune right then. For the past couple of days she had been trying to ferment her own alcohol out of the fruits on the island but had only managed to get diarrhea.

"Hey Kitsune, how are you doing?" Shinobu asked cautiously.

"How am I doing?! I'm stuck on an island without any alcohol, horse races, or toilets" Kitsune ranted. "But I'll get it right this time believe you me,".

Shinobu and Sarah left Kitsune to her crappy fate.

"How has Motoko been handling losing her sword?" Sarah asked as they neared camp.

"She is trying to find ways to occupy herself without her sword to train with. But what really is getting her is the guilt. The sword was given to her by her sister you know. But who knows maybe it washed up somewhere on the island."

"Yeah right. It's more likely a handsome guy will wash up here,"

**to the hinamobile**

Keitaro struggled to shore his wet clothes clinging to his skin, Naru and Su right behind him. They finally reach the beach and collapse.

Keitaro glanced over to Su and noticed she was still clinging on to one log. "What's that?" Keitaro asked."

"Oh, I saved the boat for us in case we want to try again," Su answered.

They knew they had to get warm and dry fast so they gathered up some dry wood.

"Okay all that is left is to light it," Kietaro commented.

"'Use these matches" Su said as she hand Kietaro a box of wet matches

"But Su they're all wet. They would work unless dry," Naru reasoned.

"Then lets build a fire to dry them out," Su reasoned back.

Naru sighed as she decided not to explain this to Su.

Keitaro eventachaly got the fire going, and the heat and smoke were pouring out.

But on the other side of the island.

The other castaways were at camp cooking dinner when Sarah pointed out the very conspicuous smoke clouds.

"That's not good," Haruka commented, deadpan as usual. "It could be a sigh of natives coming to this island to hunt,"

"What do we do?" Shinobu asked in fear.

"Well, because I don't have my sword we should find a place to hideout," Motoko reasoned.

"But how would we find a good hiding place in time?" Sarah asked.

"We might, if we split into groups," Haruka commented.

"Are you crazy? That will make us easy pickings, especially if we are just wandering the island defenseless" Kitsune complained.

"And we can use these seashells we found as ways to signal each other!" Mutsumi said, demonstrating how blowing into one made an odd trumpet-like screeching sound.

(Back on the other side of the island Keitaro, Naru, and Su started panicking thinking the sound of the shell was the headhunters)

"But Wouldn't that make it easier for the headhunters to find us?" Shinobu asked in panic.

"Well, I suppose we could attempt to fight the headhunter. We could make some crude weapons and traps out of what we have." Motoko said, thoughtful.

"That's an even worse idea, they are trained hunters and they will most likely out number us," Kitsune ranted.

"Well what do you suggest? Waiting here until they come and kill us?" Sarah shot back.

After a few minutes of arguing Haruka had had enough. "Stop it sitting here arguing will get us killed. If anyone wants to fight the headhunter go right ahead the rest of us will be hiding out in a cave until they're gone."

And with that the group split two ways: the fighters Motoko, Kanako, and Sarah. The hiders Haruka, Kitsune, Mutsumi, and Shinobu.

***Meanwhile***

Keitaro, Su, and Naru now convinced that there are headhunters on the island disguised themselves as bushes to sneak around.

"Are you sure this is our best option?" Keitaro complained as the branches of the bush continued to make him itch. "Couldn't Su just build us a weapon for defense?"

"Sorry Keitaro, but without my proper equipment it would take me at least a week to build something as simple as a missile launcher," Su explained.

Couldn't you make something simpler like a bow and arrow? Naru asked.

"Sorry But My expertise is machines." Su apologized. "And I don't know how to tie a bow."

However unbenounced to them there was a bow and arrow aimed at them right now.

"See, that bush moved again" Sarah whispered at Mokoto.

"It must be the headhunters in disguise." Motoko whispered back. She gently pulled back the string of her bow.

Aiming right at the center of the closest bush.
