How to Crash a Course in One Day
Today, the story begins with the birds singing, the Seedot hanging from the trees, and the Diglet digging around the park. As the Pokemon are busy with their lives, Brock, wearing a brown jacket with an orange shirt, orange jeans, and blue sneakers, sits in the park and mediates. Brock listens to the sounds around him and lays on the grass. He looks up and sees the clouds floating. "Why does being me suck?" Brock? Are you okay? "I mean, I know life has its twist but come on. Why this school?" Okay, Brock might be in trouble. Let's move on. Brock sees Allison wearing a blue off-the-shoulder shirt, matching pants, and sparkling blue sneakers. Her hair has gotten longer, and she wears a butterfly pin and the right side of her hair, doing her English homework. "English is Allison's worst subject because she doesn't like to speak in front of people. She gets a B in the class, but she could do better as long as she participates in class." Hold on, English is Allison's worst subject with a B? Okay, what is going on? "I know that Jeremy ' trusts' us with the Supercomputer, but we handled our shit when he was in a coma. I mean when he was on bed rest with the flu." Confused? So is the narrator. Brock looks at the clouds again and reflects on the past few days.
Jeremy wears a red turtleneck, beige pants with blue stripes on each side, and blue and white oxfords. He is speaking with Yumi, Ulrich, and Odd about the Supercomputer. Today is their crash course on the Supercomputer. "Jeremy, all of this talking is boring me to sleep. We will get much more information if we use the Supercomputer," Odd says as he is wearing a purple hoodie, blue jeans, and red sneakers. "I don't know," Jeremy says. "I agree. If we skip to the practical side, we will learn better," Yumi says as he wears a black shirt with blue stars, black pants with a red belt, and black boots. "I second that motion. We don't need another boring lecture," Ulrich says as he realizes his faux pas. "Sorry." Ulrich wears a dark green shirt with a green jacket with pockets, blue jeans, and green sneakers. "Fine! Since I am being outvoted, we'll go straight to the practical," Jeremy says. At the same time, Aelita is at her second-round auditions to be the opening act for the Subdigitals Homecoming concert. As one-half of the group is busy, let's see what is happening with Delta Company. The group sits in the courtyard and discusses Dawn's latest mommy drama. "Now, she wants to call me three times a week. Come on!" Dawn yells in frustration. Dawn is wearing a yellow dress with a pink belt and yellow boots. Ash shakes his head. "I told you to call your mom after I called mine a few weeks ago." Ash wears a blue shirt, indigo and white jacket, blue jeans, and brown sneakers. he also has a new hat. It's red with a blue circle and a silver stripe on the back. "I know, but why is she like that? She keeps on asking me about Odd!" Dawn complains. "Becasue she loves you," Allison says. "Right. Not everyone can talk to their mother all the time." "Most of the time, she calls me. My dad doesn't becasue he always wants to scold me about Ash." "What? I thought your dad was cool with me," Ash says. "Ash, the love of a father for his daughter, is like the core of a Magmar," Brock says. "You got that from professor Oak?" Dawn asks with stars in her eyes. "Ye-yes. Plus, it's true." "I know. I told my mom not to call you, Allison," Ash says. "She did this morning. She wanted to check on me," Allison says. "No. She is not allowed to call you. I don't answer your parents." "Do you answer to your mom all the time?" "No!" "Plus, to go back to Dawn's comment. My mother was warning me about trouble nearby." "Right, when Convolution was starting to come. Do you think she knows something?" Brock asks. "I don't know," Allison says. "We should take a walking tour around the Purity District and look around," Dawn says. "What? Have you lost it?!" Ash exclaims. "No. What do you think?" "We should!" Allison says. With that, the four head towards the Purity District. As they leave, Brock makes eye contact with someone who makes his heart drop. (See Fairy Soldiers: Pure Heart Destiny). Meanwhile, Ulrich tries to send Odd the Overboard to fight three Bloks. Yumi goes to find Aelta before a specter attacks her at her audition. Ulrich manages to the Overbike. "Well, that is not the Overboard!" Odd shouts. "Well, Einstein's notes are all over the fucking place," Ulrich says. "Fine! But you could have at least sent them to me! Not them (the monsters)! Me!" Odd, however, manages to fight his way through. Aelita notices her missed call and leaves. "Aelita?" Chris says. He was going to tell Aelita that she won. Aelita avoids the specter as she sees it in the crowd and runs into Yumi. The specter sees them, but the girls knock it straight into traffic. Ulrich tries again but manages to call Brock. "Wait, I wasn't, but XANA activated a tower. But I have no idea what to do," Ulrich says. After explaining to the group, Allison explains that the protocol is for two more members to come to the Factory. "We'll go," Dawn says. "You guys went last time." So Dawn and Brock head back to the Factory and run into Yumi, Aelita, and the specter who stole a call. "Whoa! It is trying to go all Grand Theif Auto on our asses," Brock says. The car misses. Before that, Ulrich calls Aelita becasue he activated a special countdown, which leads to the Mountian Sector. Ulrich takes it on while thinking, "Big Fat Cheese Head? What do these nerds in love do when we are not around?" Aelita sends Dawn and Brock to Lyoko at the lab and allows Yumi to send her to Lyoko. At the same time, Allison and Ash decided to go to the Factory. Good thing becasue the specter attacks Yumi. With more than enough Warriors on Lyoko, Aelita sends Odd back to check on Yumi. Ash and Allison help her while doing battle with the specter. Odd agrees to send Yumi as practice as Allison and Ash deal with the specter. As Yumi fights William and the others deal with the monsters, Aelita tries to enter the tower, but William blocks her. Yumi tries to stop him, but she loses all of her life points. Ulrich takes over and defeats William. At the moment, Aelita enters the tower before the specter can injure Allison, Ash, and Odd. Later, the gang manages to wake up Jeremy. "What happened? Did Aelota activate the tower?" Jeremy asks as everyone smiles.
After that, the group goes back to the rec room to recap and to shut up Odd the Blabber Mouth. At the same time, Brock drinks his Oreo Milkshake while thinking about the person who made his heart drop early in the day. They had a run-in yesterday, and it was tense. Dawn takes one bite of her ice cream and looks at Brock, sitting quietly on the couch. "Brock!" "I'm fine!" He shouts. Brock drinks some more and hears bickering. "Odd, I thought we told you to never speak about the Gymnasium again!" Jeremy said. "Why? What happened in the Gym?" Yumi asked. "Nothing!" Jeremy and Aelita said while blushing. "Hold up!" Dawn said. "How does Odd know everyone's business?" "Hey, what can I say?" Odd said. "Allison, can you believe this?" Allison and Ash were playing with her iPad. "Allison!" "Huh?" "Did you hear what I said?" "I'm am not getting involved with that. That is the five of them. Plus, I don't want Odd yanking out any Skeletons that I might have in my closet!" "Like the night before we went to the 45th Century!" Odd said. Allison and Ash blushed. "We told you nothing happened!" Ash said. Brock gets closer. "We still don't believe you. It's okay. You two don't have to be ashamed. We're all mature enough!" "Shut up!" Ash said. Everyone laughs. "Why are the Gymnasium couple and the Swimming Pool couple laughing over there with their semi romantic-embarrassing moments!" Allison said. Jeremy, Aelita, Ulrich, and Yumi stopped laughing, but Odd cracked up. "Let's make a deal, Odd," Ash said. "Okay!" Odd said. "I'll tell you what you what to know about the night in question if you give me details about these two incidents." His four friends tackled odd. He was on the floor. "We don't want to know that badly, Odd!" Yumi said. "Help!" Odd said. "Anyway! Aelita, I'm so glad you're opening for the Subdigitals!" Allison said. "Stop!" Aelita is blushing. "I have to practice twice a week!" "You... miss... Jeremy... being... a... get off of me!" odd said. "Not a chance!" Ulrich said. "Jeremy is an okay teacher." "Bad!" Brock said. "Not even!" Jeremy said. "Allison, why did Jeremy call it a crash course?" "Why Dawn?" "Because Ulrich, Odd, and Yumi all crashed the course big time!" These four chuckled while Yumi and Ulrich looked mad. Odd is too busy being crushed to notice. "You're hurting me!" Odd said. "Keeping laughing! You're next!" Jeremy said. "I have to take a rain check!" Ash said. "He didn't say what day!" Aelita said. "Like what!" Allison said. Aelita smirked. "Wednesday!" "Oh! My sister's birthday is that day, and my family is video chatting. Too bad it was not Friday!" Jeremy smirked. "Oops! She meant Friday!" Allison shakes her head. "You felt for that!" Ash said. "I blame the ice cream," Allison said. Odd chuckled. "Odd, I'll get you out of there if you tell me what went down between Aelita and Jeremy at the Gymnasium." Odd was going to open his mouth, but Aelita and Jeremy threw their weight at him. "Don't even Odd!" Aelita said. "This is crazy! Brock! You said we were all mature for this!" "Wait, you just admitted that it is something romantic between them," Ash said. Everyone froze. Then they got mad at Odd and continued to crush him. "Ulrich. Your bony elbows hurt!" "Keep talking, Odd! Ulrich said. "Wait, Allison, didn't you and Ash go to see Petals of Desire as well. "Well, we usually make out during those sappy movies," Ash says. Everyone is taken aback by that mission. "Well, who would have thought!" Ulrich says. "My back hurts!" Odd shouts.
The next day was Delta Company's crash course. Jeremy tries to give the same lecture he gave the others yesterday, but Brock interrupts twenty minutes into the talk. "Okay. This is not working. Your voice right now is putting me to sleep." "Excuse me?" Jeremy says. "Yeah. Plus, can you explain page 82?" Dawn asks. "Sure. Wait, when did you read the book?" "When did you have time to make it?" Ash asks. "You made us read. It was more entertaining than you," Dawn says. "And FYI, if you bored us to read, that may not be a good thing," Allison says. "You all are viler than the others," Jeremy says. "Anyway, let's see if you absorb some of the information." Jeremy has Dawn bring up Sector Five Transport. "Why? We can go directly to Sector Five?" Dawn asks. "You never know. Sometimes the basics can help you," Jeremy says. Dawn manages to bring Transport to the Ice Sector. "Good. Slow but good." "Whatever!" Dawn says. "Now, Ash, send Dawn to the Ice Sector." "What?" Ash says. "Yep. Come on," Jeremy says. "Remember when we had to manage when you were in a coma?" "Yeah. You all did okay but-" "Okay! We did great!" "Ash, prove Jeremy wrong," Allison says. Ash successfully sends Dawn to the Ice Sector. Jeremy is impressed. "Great speed and minimal error." "Ash is great at science and technique," Brock says. "Good. I hope you are as well becasue you are going to send Ash to Lyoko. Brock does. "I have no head!" Aah shouts. "Nice try, the Supercomputer would have told me," Brock says. "Smooth!" Dawn laughs. "Okay, Allison sends Brock and brings everyone back," Jeremy says. "Why do I get the most to do?" Allison asks. "Because I am the teacher!" Allison rolls her eyes. Allison sent Brock to Lyoko, but there was an error message before she could bring the group back. "What happened?" Allison asks. "Nothing, you are getting a phone call," Jeremy says. "Hey, how is it?" Aelita asks. "Good. I have better students," Jeremy says. "We fucking heard that!" Ulrich says. "Are you almost finished? I need you to come to see me," Aelita says. "Hold on," Jeremy speaks with Allison. "Don't do anything. Let the group go to a Way Tower and wait." "Why can't I bring them back now? Does Aelita need to see you now?" "Yes, and the other error message was a glitch in a program. It is safer not to do anything. I'll go and check on Aelita and bring my flash drive with the data to fix it." "Okay," Allison says. Ten minutes later, a big ball of plasma emerges from the Supercomputer. "Shit!" Allison says. "What!" The group says. "There was no bug. It was XANA!" Allison hides as the ball shoots her with Electromatic waves. Allison lies still on the floor as the ball goes after the others back at school. Allison gets up and sits back in the chair. "That was close. XANA made a huge ball of energy that can shock you." "Was that the reason for the error message?" Brock asks. "Yeah. It went away." "Where is the tower?" Dawn asks. "In Sector Five. The Transport is still there, but XANA will send an army to stop you." "No need to worry. Send us our rides, and we can get to the tower to guard it for Aelita," Ash said. "That is why I worry," Allison said. She manages to send the Air Drone, Air Bike, and the Wing Glider, and the group goes towards the Transport and comes face to face with Krabs. Meanwhile, Allison calls Jeremy, getting his flash drive from his room. "I see it. Good idea to let the others go to Lyoko. We will meet you there," Jeremy says. However, none of the doors open in the dorm. "Is XANA trying to trap us? Doesn't want Aelita to go to the Factory and Lyoko?" Odd asks. "XANA sent a plasma ball monster!" Allison says. "A what?" Ulrich asks. "A plasma monster!" Aelita shrieks. The group runs down the hall. The door is open but closes when the group ends up in the staircase along with the plasma monster. On Lyoko, Ash, Brock, and Dawn manage to make it to Sector Five and the tower where William is with an army of Mantas. "Hold on. Let me refill Brock's arrows," Allison says. Dawn and Brock deal with the Mantas as Ash battles William. "You're not Ulrich!" William says. "No. I am much worse!" Ash says as he charges at William. Back at the dorms, Yumi sees a window. "We have to jump for the trees." "Plan B?" Jeremy asks. "Die!" Ulrich says. "Jump it is!" They jump and crash in the trees. "I have three sticks in my pants!" Odd moans. "Well, dying was not an option. Come on; they might need help on Lyoko," Aelita says. On Lyoko, Ash uses his sword to knock a block on William as he is using Super Smoke, which defeats him as Dawn and Brock take care of the Mantas. "We're here," Jeremy says. "Okay, all of the monsters are defeated. The tower is left," Allison says. "What!" Jeremy checks it out. "Hi. Is Aelita coming? We're bored!" Dawn says. A disbelief Aelita is sent to Lyoko and deactivates the tower. "What! They had it easy," Odd says. "No!" Ash says at the rec room. "We had to battle to the Transport and with William and his guard dogs. Plus, Jeremy left himself to flirt with Aelita!" Dawn says. "No! Plus. I understand that all of you had to pull your weight when I was in the coma," Jeremy says. "First of all. Yumi and Ash need to get their props because they both got bitten, dangles from the edge of buildings, and bled more than all of us," Brock says while Yumi and Ash blush. "I mean, you both dared to" Before Brock can finish, the person who made his heart drop twice enters. "Courage. That sounds like Ash. But not Brock!" Leona says. Leona! Dawn's ex-best friend and Brock's ex-girlfriend.
Brock flashes back to the tense encounter; Leona and Destiny stare Brock down. "Hello, Brock!" Leona said. "What are you doing here?" He asked. "We transferred because my parents got a job at that school in the Purity District." Brock walks away. Ulrich grabs him. "Come on! Let's go!" "Brock's a big boy!" Leona teased. "Your disgusting," Aelita said. "We know what you did to Brock!" Odd said. "Wow! You already started to talk shit about me! Great!" "It's not shit if it's true!" Yumi said. Leona looks at Dawn. "I heard Kenny broke up with you. He did himself a favor. Trader!" Dawn was about to grab Leona when Allison grabbed her. "She's not worth it. We only see her during Lunch, Study Hall, and Gym!" "That's too many!" Dawn said. "Let's just go!" Ash said. Destiny said something. "At least you guys won't get in our way again!" "What!" Ulrich said. Destiny and Leona left. Now back to this moment. "Leona, what do you want? Is your foster sister Destiny nearby?" Brock asks. "I wanted to know what was the deep conversation. I noticed that you, Ash, Brock, and Dawn went to the Purity District." "None of your business! Now you are not welcomed next to us." "This is a public space!" Leona says as she sits next to Yumi. "Have you lost your fucking mind?" "She did in May," Allison says. "Wow!" Destiny says as she joins the group. Brock is back to the present as he notices that Allison has left the park. "After Destiny showed up, it was a swearing shit show!" Okay, Leona is at Kadic Academy, and Brock is conflicted. He gets up and goes back to his room. At the rec room, Allison chats with her older brother Gary. "So, mom was way out of line, and I understand but come on." "I told you. Mom is on auto-pilot. Sam told me about the soup incident," Gary says. As they talk, Ash J comes by. "Hey, listen, I don't mean to cut in, but I heard Leona is at this school." "Leona! Brock's ex?" Gary asks. "Yeah," Allison says. "Out of all the schools in the world," Ash J says. "I know," Allison says. "I mean first Paul now, Leona." "Paul?" Gary asks. "Right. You weren't looped in. Paul is here due to good behavior," Allison says. "What!" Gary says. "What about Serena?" Allison growls. "She doesn't live here. She lives hours away. Ash did run into Clemont and Bonnie, who were in town. It was fun to see them." "Right! Serena tried to paint you as an aggressive trainer. I remember that!" Ash J says. Moments later, Allison gets a text from Jeremy. "I have to meet my friends for something. Feel free to talk and return my laptop later." Allison kisses her brother on the forehead and gives Gary an air kiss. "That was weird," Gary says. "Yeah. I need to know why?" Ash J says. Brock gets the message, but the doors don't open when he tries to leave. "What the fuck?" Then he hears something. "Water?" The bathrooms start to flood. "Shit, XANA," Brock calls Jeremy. "Jeremy, I'm stuck at school. XANA placed the dorm building on lockdown." "Okay," Jeremy says. "Also, it is starting to flood." "Okay, no pressure!" Jeremy says. Jeremy sends Allison, Dawn, Odd, and Aelita to Lyoko while Ash, Yumi, and Ulrich help Brock. Brock tries to find a way out when he hears screaming. He swims and sees Leona. The floor caves in, and Leona hits the floor, but Brock manages to pick her up. He looks around and sees a rush of water heading for a door that leads to the staircase. Then Brock looks up and sees his phone on the upper level, and it falls as it rings. "I hope I can swim fast," Brock says. He grabs the phone as Yumi calls him. "Thank God! Brock! What is happening?" Yumi asks. "There is a rush of water pulling Leona and me towards the staircase," Brock says. "Okay, we are getting an air mattress. You need to let go, and the water will take you to the window, and you need to jump. Is Leona alive?" "Yes, but not conscious." "Okay. Good to know." Lyoko was calmer. William did put up a fight, but Allison took care of him while Dawn and Odd got Aelita to the tower. Brock lets the water take him and Leona to the staircase, and he jumps out of the window. The shards pierce their skin as Brock lands on the mattress. "Leona!" Everyone says as they move her and Brock away from the building. "Water is flooding everywhere," Ulrich says. "I'll find the fire chief to let them know that you two are safe," Ash says. "You have to give her CPR," Ulrich says. "Me? Why can't you two do it?" Brock asks. "We missed the class." Brock sighs. He starts compressions then gives Leona two breathes. She starts to cough. She looks at Brock and whispers, "I knew you would save me." Then she kisses him as a shocked Ash, Yumi, and Ulrich. Brock blushes as the RTTP is activated.
Back to the park, Brock gets up and walks to the rec room, where Allison finishes her video chat with Gary. "Hey, you wanna go to Star Cups with us?" Allison asks. "Jeremy needs some energy, and I want am Ice Oat Cookie and Cream Vanilla Chai." "Okay," Brock says. "How are you feeling?" Ash J asks. "Good! Why don't you, Moxie, and Rocky come too?" "Sure. I'll tell Rocky to be on his best behavior," Ash J says. At the shop, Ash asks Brock something in private. "The kiss?" "It brought up feelings, but what I want and what Leona wants are different. I don't want her back," Brock says. "And?" "And you, Yumi, and Ulrich do not tell a soul!" "We won't. So we have the Gym, pool, and the dorms!" Ash says. Brock laughs.
Whoa! What an adventure! Two crash courses, a complicated romance, and three XANA attacks. No wonder our heroes need to go to Star Cups. Brock did some self-reflection about himself, and Leona and the Warriors have some skills up their sleeves for the Supercomputer. Now, what is this-Kenny? Kenny is coming to Paris. He should be in Siberia. What, that was not true. He goes to school in the Purity District. Oh, boy. Now it's Dawn's turn for "the return of the ex." Let's see how she handles it and how XANA plays into it. Until next time.
