Holiday Madness
"Aelita! You frightened us today!" Dawn said as she tried to figure out Odd's present, a white bowl with a rose painted on it. "I know I'm sorry. I just really wanted to see my father so badly." Aelita said. "We're not mad. We're just glad you're safe!" Ulrich said. "We after that, I decided that Aelita, you are spending the holidays with me!" Jeremy said proudly. "No, I don't want to be a bother." "Please. My parents want you to come. You can take my bed. I'll sleep on the couch! It's comfortable!" He teased. "You're not opening your present, Yumi?" Odd asked. "No. In Japan, you never open the present in front of the person who gave it to you." Ulrich said while blushing. Yumi smiled a lot. Allison opens and closes seven colorful fans. "We all got you the same gift," Yumi said. "No problem. I collect fans!" Allison said. "Since when?" Brock asked. "Since I was six. I have a box at home with fans from everywhere I can get my hands on one." "I see that Ash didn't give you one!" Odd said. "Because I gave her something else!" Ash smiled. Allison looks at it. It was a picture frame with glass pearls with a picture of Allison and Ash. "This is cute!" Allison gave Ash a big kiss. Allison gave Ash the same thing but with a silver frame. "You don't have a picture of just you guys, right?" Brock said. "Now we do," Allison said. "So, if you guys get any cuter, I'm canceling Christmas next year!" Dawn shouts. "You said that last year!" Ash said. "I mean it this time." Dawn teased. "No more lovebirds this season!" Yumi teased. That gave Allison an idea. "I'll be back!" She said.
Aelita wonders where did Allison go. "What is she up to?" "Who knows? Are your grandparents upset that you are not spending the holidays with them?" Ulrich wondered. (Please read Fairy Soldiers: Pure Heart Destiny: Side Story 3) "No. They figure I'll want to be with Jeremy. Plus, they sent me a present." Aelita said. "What?" Odd asked. "I didn't open it yet." Then Allison comes back with something in her hands. "What are you up to?" Dawn asked. "Nothing bad!" Allison teased. "Then it's bad for us!" Brock jokingly said. Allison sneaks around Aelita and Jeremy when Odd decides to sing something. "No singing Odd. It's only a matter of time before our rides get here." Ash said. "I'll take my present back!" Odd said. "Here it comes!" Yumi said, covering her ears. "What is it?" Brock said. "Feliz Navidad!" Jeremy said. After Odd sings the song, Ash J comes with Rocky. "There was a party here without us?" Ash J says. "You're here?" Odd asks. 'I mean, why would I leave without my sister?" "Good point. Rocky, what's your excuse?" "My brother is coming to pick me up," Rocky says. "Brother?" Yumi asks. "He is in university. Anyway, what are you doing?" Rocky asks. "Odd was singing out of tune," Ash says."Odd, stop singing!" Ulrich shouts. "From the bottom of my heart!" Odd yells. "Can you feel the love?" "Ask Aelita and Jeremy?" Allison said. "What?" Jeremy said. Aelita looks up. "A Mistletoe!" "Hey! That's what the little mouse did!" Jeremy shouts. "You two have to kiss, now?" Ash J teases. "Aren't you all blue balls because Moxie left already?" Jeremy asks smugly. "Ha! Ha! Get to kissing!" Jeremy and Aelita looked nervous. Jeremy closed his eyes and kissed Aelita under the mistletoe. "How cute!" Ash said. "No thanks to your girlfriend," Aelita said. Allison takes the mistletoe down and puts it near Yumi and Ulrich. "By the way, I heard that Allison and Ulrich were attacked by 'The Twelve Days of Christmas,' or some shit like that," Rocky says. Everyone looks at Allison and Ulrich, both read in the face. "Well, I am not sure how anyone found out," Allison says. Yumi and Ash looked jealous. Ulrich whispers to Jeremy, "XANA," to explain its source. "I see. What happened?" Jeremy asks.
A week before the holiday break, Allison went to the post office to mail a few gifts home so her suitcase would be light for the trip home. "I hope my family enjoys these gifts, Allison says. Once she leaves, she sees Ulrich there. "Ulrich, what are you doing?" "Deciding to mail my gifts home and stay here," Ulrich says. "No. I understand that your folks are crazy but-" "No. My dad is aggressive as fuck during the holidays. He tells me the same thing every year-do better and make better friends. I think I want to skip it." Allison hugs him. "When I was a trainer, I missed my family so much. So take it from me, find some joy and go home. Plus, staring at these walls for two weeks can't be good for the soul." Ulrich laughs. "Fine. But you owe me an extra present." Allison chuckles at that request. A few minutes later, the duo sees a musical act using real animals and Pokemon to perform, "The Twelve Days of Christmas." "Interesting, let's leave," Ulrich says. However, the ringleader had his Pichu assistant use Thunder to lure Allison and Ulrich to the act. "I guess we have to stay," Allison says. Once they sat down, the ringleader started to sing. "On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave me a partridge in a pear tree." Then a partridge attacked the audience. "What the fuck!" Allison shouts. "Ouch! Mother fucker!" Ulrich shouts. The ringleader sings again. "On the second day of Christmas, my true love gave to me two turtle doves And a partridge in a pear tree." So the audience was attacked by two turtle doves and two partridges (the second one is from the first line. "Okay, if we are going to attack each line, I'm leaving!" Allison shouts. "Me too!" Ulrich says, but Pichu attacks them with Thunder. "On the third day of Christmas, my true love gave to me three french hens, two turtle doves, and a partridge in a pear tree!" Three french hens, four turtle doves, and three partridges. So, the next is four calling birds. "Okay, I want to leave the shithole!" Ulrich says. Allison looks into the eyes of the ringleader and notices that XANA possesses him and Pichu. "This is XANA!" Allison shouts. She sees Jeremy calling her, but Pichu has other plans. When it was the fifth day of Christmas, Pichu delivered 5 Thunder punches. One went to Ulrich, who crashed into Allison and knocked her phone out of her hand. Five verses later, Pokemon and animals dressed up like that other verses are attacking the audience. The only thing Allison and Ulrich are wondering at this point is, "What are there so many damn birds in this song!" Good question. "On the eleventh day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, eleven lord's leaping!" The ringleader shouts. It turns out having eleven Spoink bouncings would be cute if they weren't trying to trample you. "Okay, I am not looking forward to, shit stop shooting milk at me, Milktank," Ulrich shouts. "We need to prepare for the twelfth day. I am not looking forward to the drums!" Allison says. Everyone gathered their Pokemon and prepared to attack, but the ringleader and Pichu fainted. "What happened?" Someone asked. The animals and Pokemon disappeared. "Look," Ulrich says. "A Wyrdeer. It might have used Psychic on the ringleader and caused chaos." "Good point," another person says. Moments later, the ringleader and Pichu wake up, and everyone is waiting for the show. He does the show, and it is enjoyable.
"Hold on," Rocky says. "You mean Wyrdeer causes that!" "Yes, they can," Allison says. Yumi laughs. "I don't believe that!" "Hey, you had to be there," Ulrich says. "You both said nothing," Aelita says. "Well, you all didn't ask. You all assume we were dealing with it," Allison says. Ulrich shows the group a newspaper article that shows Allison and Ulrich in the mix of the crowd. Ash hugs Allison. "I'm sorry!" He kisses her. "Gross!" Ash J says. Yumi hugs Ulrich. "How about a kiss?" Odd asks. "A what!" Ulrich exclaims. "I noticed that Allison has put the mistletoe you and Yumi." "Hey, snitch!" Allison said. Yumi and Ulrich were not pleased. "No way!" Yumi said. "If we had to, so do you!" Aelita said. Yumi was not having it, but Ulrich grabbed her and kissed her gently. Yumi was caught off guard. "Awe!" Odd said. "Shut up, Odd!" Yumi said. Yumi decides to move the mistletoe herself. "I would like to mention that I hate that song. It is too repetitive," Jeremy says as the group laughs. "Well, speaking od holiday misadventure, remember Odd, we had to sing for a crowd because a scrooge stole the donations," Brock says. "I do remember. You bet one of them in a battle but wanted to change the rules," Odd says. "Now, we are getting serious, spill," Rocky says.
Brock and Odd had to pick up cookies for their homeroom because Ms. Hertz forgot to bring them in. Yes, Ms. Hertz was merry for the holidays. On the way back, the boys saw three teen boys stealing money from a group of children, raising it for a home for ill children. "Give it back," Mary says. "No way," Jack shouts as he pushes Mary to the ground. Mary cried, Joseph grabbed the money, but Tripp grabbed it back. "Fuck off!" A third child, Gaberalla, takes it, but Stien's Arcanine uses Flamethrower. However, Odd moves Gaberalla out of the way. "Give them back the money," Brock shouts. "No way," Stien calls. The two boys cornered Odd and the children while Stien stared at Brock. "How about this? Battle me, and we will give the money back." Brock looks at him. "With what Pokemon?" Joseph taps Brock. "I have a Blastoise." "I'll take it," Brock says. A crowd gathers. Pokemon battles in the middle of downtown are illegal, but the group can't stand the teen boys. Arcanine uses Flamethrower while Blastoise uses Water Gun. There was smoke. Arcanine uses tackle, but Blastoise uses Bubble. Arcanine uses Extreme Speed, while Blastoise uses Rapid Spin. "Such a jerk," Stien says. "Well, my friend used to be the Pewter City Gym Leader," Odd shouts. "Excuse me. You. No!" Stien says. "I was, and I still have it!" Brock says with a smirk. "Arcanine, use Fire Spin!" Stien shouts. "Wait," Brock tells Blastoise. They wait until they can feel the heat. "Use Hydro Pump!" Blastoise lives up to its name as it blasts Arcanine away. "Yeah!" The crowd cheers. "Not so fast!" Jack shouts as he grabs the money from Brock. Odd walks up to him. "Excuse me. Brock won!" "Well, I think we need a singing contest!" "What. You fuck piece of shit!" Odd shouts. "Well, pointy hair fuckward, you and your friend need to warm up your voices!" The crowd boos as someone call Officer Jenny. Brock gets up. "We can out sing them. I mean, it's Christmas Time. The songs are simple to sing," Brock says. "Fine!" First, the teen boy sing," Carol of the Bells." The crowd clapped. Next, Brock and Odd sing "Give Love on Christmas Day" by the Jackson 5. You see who won. However, the boys did want to give Odd and Brock the money until Officer Jenny arrived. "Who is causing the chaos?" "No one. We were having a singing contest to raise money. Which we are giving back to the children," Stien says as he gives the money back. The teen boys run away. Odd and Brock hug the children, who thank them for getting their money back and race to school only to find that they are not late. "What? We're on time?" Odd asks. "Yes, thanks for the cookies," Ms. Hertz says. Later, Brock notices that she brought her Nativity Scene from her home and looks at the faces of Mary, Joseph, and the angel. "Odd, don't they look like?" "The children. They do," Odd says. But both boys said, "Nah!" And ate their cookies as the Nativity Scene shines in the sunlight.
"Who were the children?" Aelita asks. "They were from a primary school," Odd asks. "Yeah, it was nice to help them," Brock says. "It was cute of you both. I could kiss you both," Dawn says. "You can kiss Odd. The mistletoe is above you both," Rocky says."So are you going to kiss Dawn?" "What are you talking about?" Odd sees it. "Yumi, what would you..." "What's wrong, Odd? You don't want to kiss me!" Dawn shouts. Odd does, but he does not want to make it very obvious. "I will if you want me to." "Well, I have never been kissed under the mistletoe." So Odd kisses Dawn. Dawn tries to hold back on the idea that she likes it, but Allison can tell she does. Then Allison pulls Dawn over. "You're welcome!" Allison told Yumi to do that because Dawn wanted Odd to kiss her for Christmas. "Wait, I heard that you all made a music video," Ash J says. "We did with William in October. Jeremy had gotten a drone camera from his parents and we made a video for the song, 'Mary, Did you know?'" Ash says. "Can we see it?" Rocky says. "Sure," Ulrich says. "Was this before William was acting like he lost his mind?" "Yes," Aelita says with an uneasy tone. "It was my idea. I know that our grandparents would ask us to record a song for them but I was unsure if we could do it, so my friends and I made one," Allison says. "Well, we need to make one because your friends will not outdo Sam and Gary," Ash J says as Allison smiles.
The Lyoko Warriors are in the abandoned church near campus. They hold lit candles, and there is a faint fog in the air.

The group sings while Allison sings stronger. They move around in a circle as the drone zooms in on all of their faces. The drone also zooms in on Yumi, Dawn, and Ash as they sing to "baby Jesus." Then at the end, there is one more shot of the group singing in front of a statue in the church of Mary looking at Baby Jesus.
"That gave me goosebumps," Rocky says. "Me too. Your parents are going to love it," Ash J says. "Thanks. Odd directed it," Aelita says. "Well, he is talented." Odd looks at him. "What!" Allison smiles and gives her brother a peck on the cheek. "That is for being nice to Odd and for the lack of kisses you will be getting under the mistletoe." Ash j blushes as Odd laughs. "January!" Ash J says as Odd gulps. Then all the girls kissed Brock because the past few months, Brock needed some love and Rocky for hanging out with them. "If Ash j and Odd can be civil for the holidays, then so can Jeremy and I with you," Aelita says as she winks at Rocky. An hour later, the heroes head home and reflect on the past year and how the new year will bring much more adventure for them.
