Dear Diary,

Yesterday Aelita, Yumi, Ulrich, and Odd checked out the Replica for the first time. The Skid only had five seats, but it was fun watching Jeremy's supercomputer. Also, Aelita and Odd were at war! Odd decided to play video games until 5 in the morning, so he asked Aelita to cover. I would have dragged Odd out of bed. I do that to Dawn and Ash at least twice a week. Jim got hurt in class, and when he went to the nurse, Odd was not there. Odd was supposed to be sick, but that lie backed fire. So Odd and Aelita blamed each other for them getting into trouble. Also, Dawn told me that when Brock offered to teach Aelita and Jeremy self-defense, and let's face it, Jeremy needed this more! Odd got in the way, and he and Aelita almost hurt each other. Anyway, the Replica has one Sector, the Forest. Aelita and Odd could work out their difference since Nicholas and Herve followed them to the factory. They decided to work together to get rid of them. Their plan left Jeremy very...very... well, I don't have a word for this, but Aelita decided that if those two saw them kiss and pretend to argue later, everything would be fine. Aelita told me that Odd kissed her on the nose. Dawn did not like that, but she couldn't let anyone know that. What a night. Well, students from the Infinity Academy are coming to visit today. That is the school in the Purity District. That place is weird. I feel that the visit will give us more than we asked for.

Allison

The friends all mingle in the courtyard. Dawn holds a picture of her and Kenny and sighs. "Does anyone have a lighter?" She asked. "I do! Why?" Yumi said with hesitation. "I just need to burn this picture." The picture has Dawn wearing a dark blue dress and Kenny wearing a blue suit. "Is that prom?" Aelita asked. "No. He claimed he couldn't go to prom. This is the first picture we took as a couple today last year. I want to get rid of it." Yumi hands Dawn the lighter. "I have to do it later. Not on school grounds." Dawn looks at the picture. Odd holds her hand. "You do what you want. If you want to rid yourself of a loveless relationship, burn it." He smiled. Dawn slightly blushed. Dawn puts the picture in her bag. "I see you still think about me!" A voice said. Dawn looks up and freezes. "Ken-Ken..." Kenny smiles at Dawn. Allison steps into action. "Look at the time! We have class!" Allison grabs Dawn and Ash, and Brock drags Dawn to class. The others looked at Kenny with disgust. "You're the jerk that almost caused all of us not to be friends!" Aelita said. "Excuse me!" Kenny snapped. "You broke up with her over the phone. Just dragging her along for the summer and cause her to cause trouble for us!" Jeremy said. "You're kidding me, right. You're just saying that just because you are all Dawn's friends." "No! You have some nerve of coming here and acting like 'Oh, you miss me' garbage!" Yumi said. "Are you two going to say something!" Ulrich and Odd glared at Kenny. "Leave her alone!" Ulrich shouted. They left. Kenny grabs Odd. Kenny feels intense warm energy from Odd. Odd feels a cold vibe from Kenny. Odd brushes him off and runs to his friends. "Dawn loves me. I will make sure of it," Kenny says. Meanwhile, XANA makes a clone of Dawn.

An hour later, Leona and Destiny see Kenny. "Kenny!" Leona shouted. "Leona!" Kenny and Leona hug. "What are you doing here?" "My school is visiting." "Are you still mad at me with the whole Brock thing?" "No. That is between you and Brock." "Good." "I just want to talk to Dawn." "Good luck!" "Well, I have to go see her." Kenny leaves. "Does Kenny think Dawn wants him back?" Destiny asks. "He needs to wake the fuck up. Dawn does not want him back. It is clear that she likes someone else," Leona says. "Who?" "I don't know. If I was cool with her, then I can find out." "Oh, well. Dawn can deal with her shit," Destiny says. Later, Kenny waits outside the class and sees Dawn. He grabs her. "Get off, "Dawn shouts. Her friends surround her. "What is this? The wolf pack!" "Hey! Get your own name!" Allison said. Dawn looks at Kenny and feels like crawling under a rock. "How's Siberia?" Ash said. "I don't go to school there.,"Kenny says. "Interesting!" Brock said. "Do you know what your friends did to me!" "Yes!" Dawn speaks. "They told me. I'm not mad at them. I told Brock to face Leona, and I have to face you." "So, what does that mean?" "It means this conversation needs to end. I have nothing to say to you, and I don't want to hear any shit that you have to say!" Kenny is surprised. "Such language." "Please! Give me a fucking break!" Dawn walks up to Kenny. She tells him something in his ears. He tries to kiss her, but she smacks him. "I don't want a goodbye kiss." "Why not!" "Because somebody else kisses me, and I don't want your lips to ruin that feeling I got from him." All of her friends looked around at each other. Odd looks at Dawn and feels a warm and sickening feeling in his stomach. Then he smiles at her. She smiles at him. Kenny gets mad. "Is it one of your male friends over here?" Brock cut the conversation short. "We have another class!" They left. "Who did Dawn kiss?" Yumi asked Aelita. "I don't know, but Allison would know." She said. Moments later, the Dawn clone runs to Kenny and kisses him. "Meet me at 7:30 at the old factory." Kenny smiles.

The afternoon was still, and Odd was running towards the dorms. "I hate getting detention!" He said. He got detention because Tobias mentioned Kenny to odd, and Odd pushed him with Jim as a witness. Odd has been touchy since Keeny has been at the school to think about it. Odd runs into Kenny. "I need to talk to Dawn." "Go fuck yourself! She does not want to talk to you!" "What is with you!" "I don't like it when one of my friends is hurt like that. Dawn was really in a bad place, but she is finally free of the pain she felt, and I don't want you to mess with her emotions." Kenny looks at Odd's eyes. His eyes are not the eyes of a friend protecting another. His eyes show someone protecting a person close to their heart. A person that you care about deeply. "Oh my gosh! Are you dating Dawn?" Odd laughed. "No! We're friends!" "But you care about her?" "No... I... I..." Odd can't lie about that for a reason. "You can't even lie about it. You like her!" "Shut up! She does not want to be with you!" "Bet she doesn't like you back!" Odd runs to the dorms while Kenny follows. "Since Dawn refuses to leave her room, we have to meet here," Jeremy said. Dawn sits next to Allison and rests her head in her lap. "This day!" She said. "Where's Odd?" Yumi asked. "Detention!" Ash said. "That was 15 minutes ago!" Ulrich said. "Can I ask? What was the depth of your relationship with Kenny?" Aelita asks. Dawn sighs. "Kenny, Leona, and I were all friends since Kindergarten. I thought I believed in the cliche saying about 'Falling in love with your best friend' and shit. But then Leona and I ended our friendship. Kenny broke my heart." Aelita sits next to her. "Sometimes friendships changes because people change." "I think Professor Oak said something about that," Yumi says. "He did," Jeremy chimes in. "he said as Pokemon evolve, trains evolve too. Trainers have to adapt to their new Pokemon. Also, trainers grow with each other, and sometimes changing the flavor might change the relationship." Ash looks at Dawn. "The fact that Dawn is not jumping up for joy after hearing one of Professor Oak's saying concerns me." "I'm fine. I hope that today doesn't turn into a rom-com," Dawn says. Everyone chuckles. There was a knock. Allison opens it. "What is this?" Kenny and Odd are both at the door. "Odd, did you forget!" Jeremy said. "Allison, can you tell Jeremy that life can't go on with Kenny here!" "Dawn, you're ex-boyfriend has got to go," Jeremy said. "Tell me about it," Dawn said. Allison closes the door behind her. "What is it? Odd we have a meeting about you know what!" "Can you tell Dawn that she needs to get rid of her banana bread hair shaped dimwit of an ex-boyfriend now!" "And you can tell Dawn that I want her back." Kenny's words shocked both Allison and Odd. "Tell her to meet me in the woods instead if she has an answer!" Kenny leaves. Odd looks down. "What's wrong?" "Nothing!" Odd said. Allison goes to Dawn. "Odd said to get rid of your banana bread hair shaped dimwit of an ex-boyfriend now." Everybody laughs. "I guess Kenny got on Odd's nerves," Dawn said. "And Kenny wants you back!" Dawn jumps out of bed and grabs Odd. "Where are you going?" Yumi asked. "I need to put Kenny in his place. Plus, Odd is right here, so he could be my bodyguard if things get violent." Ulrich gulps. "The way Odd has been acting. I wonder?" "Penny, for your thoughts?" Brock asks. "Only about our friend," Ulrich says.

At the bridge. Dawn took out the picture and lit the lighter. "Are you sure?" Brock said. "Yes. After that. I need to burn this." Dawn illuminates the picture and watches as it flies into the air. "What did you tell Kenny in his ears?" Odd asked. "That somebody else has my heart. In a way that he never did." She smiles. Odd blushes before his friends grab Dawn. "That's right!" Ulrich said. "We filled the void he left you!" Yumi said. They all hug her. Dawn laughs a little. Odd smiles and hugs her too. Dawn's friends surround her as the picture burns in the night sky, leaving only ashes of what Dawn meant to Kenny, nothing. Meanwhile, Kenny is about to meet Dawn's clone at the bridge because he still thinks he has a chance with Dawn. The clone walks up to him and kisses him. Kenny looks up and sees static eyes. "What the fuck? Who are you?" Kenny scream as the clone "disposes of" him. Later, "Kenny" shows up at the bridge. "You have the fucking nerve to follow me!" Dawn shouts. "Kenny" shouts volts at Dawn, and Odd pushes her out the way. "XANA has possessed Kenny," Aelita says. "Way yo take advantage of our teenage drama, XANA," Ulrich says. "I can deal with Kenny," Dawn says. "Are you sure?" Jeremy asks. "I am." "I'll help," Odd says. "Okay," Jeremy says as the others race to the lab and Lyoko. "Kenny" charges at Odd and tries to choke him. Dawn hits him in the head with a stick. "We need to run away from the factory," Odd says as Dawn nods in agreement. They head deep in the woods as "Kenny" follows. Jeremy sends Yumi, Allison, Brock, and Aelita to Lyoko with Ulrich and Ash on stand-by. When the Warriors arrive in the Forest Sector, XANA has sent four Blocks right away. "The action starts right away," Brock says as he shoots one arrow at a Block. Aelita uses the Overwing to head for the tower, but William surprises her with his Super-smoke, and she falls off. She almost rolls off the edge of the Sector Sector stops herself. William tries to kick her off, but Aelita uses her Synthesis powers to make vines as she makes a break for it. "Brock, help Aelita," Jeremy says. "Okay," Brock says as he hops on his red air bike. Allison uses her Plasma Balls to attack one Block as Yumi defeats one more. "Now, there is one more," Yumi says. Yumi hits it, but it doesn't get destroyed. "Did I miss?" "I can try," Allison says. She makes a Plasma Javelin Stick hit the Block, but it starts to spin. "Jeremy, is Aelita close to the tower?" Allison asks. "No. Why?" Jeremy asks. "Becasue this Block evolved." The Block tripled in size and now has three heads. One in the middle and one on each corner. "What the fuck?" Yumi shouts. The Cubic block attacks the girls, and since Yumi has fewer life points than Allison, she gets de-virtualized. "Jeremy, that thing was ugly," Yumi says. "Do you think Allison needs help?" Jeremy asks. "Yes. She doesn't have that many life points left, and the shit can fly." "Okay, boys, to the scanners." Jeremy sends Allison the dark pink motorbike as she escapes the Cubic Block. Brock and William battle as Aelita uses the air bike to get to the tower. However, the Cubic block catches up to her, but Allison uses her Tiara force field to block it. "We need to wait for backup," Allison says. "What an ugly thing," Aelita says. "Ugly is being too nice," Allison says.

Back in the woods, Odd and Dawn battle "Kenny." "I can't believe that XANA has taken control of Kenny," Dawn says. "XANA knows how to mess with our emotions. It uses our human nature against us. We only have to work smarter, not harder," Odd says. Odd throws a punch at "Kenny," and he gets hit. Dawn notices something about that. "Odd hit him again," she says. "I will," Odd says as he grabs a stick and hits "Kenny" on the back. "Try the head." "Whoa! I don't want to kill him," Odd says. "You won't," Dawn says. Odd hits him in the head, and he starts to pixelate. "A Polymorphic Clone!" Odd gasps. The clone smiles. "Where is Kenny?" Dawn asks in a state of panic. "I thought you didn't care about him. I did you a favor!" The clone says. Odd gulps while Jeremy calls Dawn. "How are you doing?" "Jeremy! XANA made a clone and did something with Kenny," Dawn says. "Let me see," Jeremy says. "What's wrong?" Yumi asks. "XANA tricked us. Dawn and Odd deal with a clone while the real Kenny might be in danger. I am checking the surrounding-bingo!" "What?" Dawn asks. "Hurry to the 'Point.' Kenny is tied up, and there might be something hanging over him," Jeremy says. "I'll meet Dawn there," Yumi says. As Dawn tries to look for Kenny, the clone attacks her. He gets his hands ready to strike Dawn, but Odd tackles him. "Run!" Odd shouts as he is thrown across the pathway. Dawn races to meet Yumi at the "Point" to rescue Kenny. "Now I have to rescue him. What the fuck?" Dawn says. On Lyoko, Ash and Ulrich arrive and see chaos. Brock is barely hanging on against William, and Cubic Block is trying to crack the force field. "What the fuck is happening?" Ulrich asks. "I don't know. Why don't you help the girls while I'll help Brock," Ash says. "Okay," Ulrich agrees. Before William cuts Brock's head off, Ash pushes him off. "Tag, I'm it!" Ash says. Ulrich Triplicates himself and fends off the Cubic block as Aelita runs off. Allison manages to hit one of the eyes of the Cubic block before she gets de-virtualized. Ash distracts William long enough for Brock to stab in him the back. On Earth, Odd struggles against the clone. "I can't stand to see your smug face any longer," Odd shouts. The clone scratches Odd. "I can manage that request," the clone says. Dawn and Yumi arrive at the "point," a place with different shaped boulders under lights where students go to make out. Dawn sees Kenny out-cold but with a sharp rod hanging above him. "Look," Yumi says. The rope where the rod is hanging from is getting loose. "We have to save Kenny, so XANA doesn't win," Dawn says. "But we need to be smart. He is tired up, and if we take too long, we will get hurt," Yumi says. Dawn looks around and sees a trampoline. "Why is there a trampoline here?" Dawn asks. "Who cares? It might be the missing ultra-thick trampoline from school. We can put it under the rod and free Kenny," Yumi says. The girls work on their plans. On Lyoko, Ulrich defeats the Cubic Block with a Super Sprint as Aelita enters the tower. The clone grabs Odd and tries to choke him as the rod falls on the trampoline and bounces off while Yumi and Dawn free Kenny. Aelita enters Code: Lyoko as the clone stops what he is doing, drops Odd, and disappears. Odd starts to cough. Yumi and Dawn try to wake up Kenny as Allison calls. "Are you guys okay?" "Yeah. Kenny is fine. What about Odd?" Dawn asks. "Odd is fine," Yumi says. "Do we need to do a return to the past?" "No. I think Dawn can explain things to Kenny," Jeremy says. Odd is not happy about that.

Later that night, Kenny walks up and sees Dawn. "Dawn! Ahh!" Kenny shouts. "Are you okay?" Dawn asks. "You kissed me and attacked me, and Ahh!" Dawn looks at Kenny. "I don't know what you mean?" "You told me to meet you at some abandoned factory, and then you kissed me twice." "Oh, there is a girl named Jada that has blue eyes like me. She wore a wig to stirrup trouble. " What! Why you?" "Because I made the cheerleading team, and she didn't. Plus, she's a bitch," Dawn says. "But you came to find me," Kenny says. "Kenny. I'm not evil. We saw Jada and-" "We? You and Odd?" "My friends and I saw Jada. I came to help you as closure." Dawn walks away. "Wait!" Kenny calls out. Dawn turns around and blows ashes at him. "Those were pictures of us that I burned. Goodbye, Kenny," Dawn says as she leaves. Dawn walks away with tears down her eyes as Odd meets her at the park. "Let's go," Odd says. Dawn smiles as she rests her head on his shoulders and walks with him.
