"I'm from the future," Gerald calmly said. Everyone gasps. "That makes sense why they want Gerald," Aelita said. "Why?" Yumi asks. "They know that Celebi will come back for Gerald to bring him back to his time, and they want Celebi." "Why?" Leya asks. "Project Carthage was supposed to be a weapon for destroying enemy communication, but it was dangerous," Dawn said. William whispers, "Your father was part of this?" Aelita nods. "Which is why XANA was created to destroy it, but XANA was a bigger threat," Aelita whispers back. "I don't understand," Odd says. "Albert and Clark might have been a part of the original project," Brock said. "They want to use Celebi to go back in time," Ulrich said. "Why?" William asks. "To revive Project Carthage and take it over," Allison said. "And thus, cause mass destruction globally," Jeremy claims. The room is silent, and Gerald shares a tear, but Aelita hugs him. "Don't worry! We won't let them get anywhere near you!" Gerald smiles. Meanwhile, Hiroki and Johnny are trapped in a storage room in the abandoned church near campus. "Let us out!" Hiroki cries. "No!" Clark shouts. "Now, be good little children, and give me your parents' phone number." "No. I'm a boarding student, and Hiroki's sister will know he is missing. Let us go," Johnny demands. Clark and his Pokemon approach the boys. "I can make it look like a freak accident," Clark says with a creepy smile. "What an accident?" Johnny asks. Clark's Mienshoas lift one limb each. "Don't ask," Hiroki says as he writes his parents' number.
Leya and Lesteria look at Gerald a little closer. "Your name is Gerald?" Leya asks. "Yes. The last name is fake," Gerald said. "Well, duh. Nobody's last name is Sweet Potato." Lesteria thinks about it. "You know that cousin we talked about earlier," Lesteria says, but Yumi cuts her off. "Not now. We need to call the police," Yumi says. She is about to when she gets a phone call from her father. "Hi, dad. Wait. Are you sure?" "What is going on?" Ulrich asks. "My dad said that Albert Biker called him and told him that he is letting Hiroki and Johnny observe the filming for the day." "So, calling the police is out?" Jeremy asks. "What do we do?" "Heal my dog!" Odd commands. Brock uses his new Poke Watch to summon a Pokemon on rotation. "Blissey!" Blissey uses Healing Pulse to heal Kiwi, the dog. "Bark," says Kiwi, who licks Blissey. "Now, what!" William says. "I think we should still call officer Jenny," Aelita says. "I have a plan," Jeremy says. "Does it mean sacrificing Gerald?" Ash asks. "No. We won't harm him." Gerald smiles, but he looks at the others, and they are worried. They get to work, but first, Allison speaks to her brother. "What the fuck?" Ash J asks. "Why is it always you?" "Jealous?" "No. But what do you need me to do?" Allison whispers. "I can do that." Ash J summons Blackey, his Umbreon, and Liepard to help. "I'll be ready." The group heads to the Hermitage and comes face to face with Clark. "Where is my brother?" Yumi demands. "Little bitches. Do you want to know?" "Yes, she does," Dawn says. She summons her Piplup and Lopunny. "Awe, what a shame. I will have to teach these two girls a lesson," Albert says. "Not so fast!" Allison, Aelita, Leya, and Lesteria shout. Allison summons her Raichu and Thievul, and Lesteria and Leya both have a Pichu name Joy and Star respectfully. "Let's play," Allison says. "Hold on," Albert shouts. Some of his crew appear with their Pokemon, Primeape. "Now, we can have a battle," Albert says. Meanwhile, the boys are looking for Hiroki and Johnny. "They might be in a closet or something," Brock says. "Why do you think so?" Gerald asks. "That's what they do in all of the movies. They need you, and if they hurt Hioki and Johnny, there is no way they will get you. And, we won't let them get you," Ash says. Gerald smiles and looks at Blissey and Croagunk. Then he looks at Ash's Pokemon, Pikachu, and Dragonite. Dragonite gave Gerald a huge hug a while ago. The boys see a door. "Help!" Hiroki shouts. Odd opens the door and catches glowing eyes. "I think it is a trap," Odd says. "Wise boy. Now, walk away, you little fuckers!" Clark shouts. The boys look, and the crew has their Primeape at hand. "Well, time to get messy. Gerald, you have to help too," William says. Gerald gulps. "I'm not good at battling." "Water types affect Primeape; you'll be fine," Ulrich says.
"Squirtle, use Water Gun," Gerald commands. Water Gun hits a Primeape. "Pikachu, use Thunderbolt. Dragonite, use Dragon Claw," Ash commands. Pikachu and Dragonite attack the Pokemon. "Minun, use Thunder Punch," Jeremy commands. Thunder makes a direct impact. "Blissey, use Pound and Croagunk, use Poison Jab!" Brock commands. Gerald is in awe at the battle. "Use Rapid Spin, Squirtle," Gerald commands. Squirtle uses the move, but a Primeape uses a Low Kick attack and sends Squirtle flying. "Squirtle! Gerald cries out as he catches him. "Are you okay?" "Squirtle," Squirtle says. Gerald looks at the older boys as they battle, and he hides. Jeremy notices that Gerald is missing and goes to look for him. Meanwhile, the girls are having a field day. "Raichu, use Electro Ball, and Thievul, use Night Slash," Allison commands. "Star, use Thunder," Leya commands. The Primeapes are going down. "Joy, use Iron Tail," Lesteria commands. Iron Tain goes head to head with a Furry Swipe. "Piplup, Bubble Beam, and Lopunny use Double Kick," Dawn commands. As the battle rages on, Aelita sees Gerald running away. "Gerald is going to get hurt. Where is he going?" Aelita and Plulse run after him. Gerald runs into a room where he sees a layout of a plan. "Project Carthage 2.0: Celebi is the key. They do want to use Celebi to go back in time. But I can't stay here. I want to go back home." Gerald is fading a little bit. "What is happening?" "A temporal anomaly. You don't belong here, and Celebi wants to bring you back. However, We want Celebi!" Clark shouts as he grabs Gerald. Squirtle uses Bubble to hit Clark, but the two Mienshaos tackle him. "Stop!" Jeremy cries out. "Where is he? I don't see him," Gerald said. "Your friend and his little girlfriend are occupied with something else, along with their friends, Clark smugly said. Albert has Malamar use Hypnosis in a sound wave, and it amplified all over and knocked out the children. Celebi arrived and saw that Gerald was in danger and that there was a trap. It uses Magical Leaf to free Gerald and Squirtle, but Calrk has a plan. He uses a box that absorbs the move and sends it back to Celebi. "Celebi, run away. I'll be fine. Come back when it is safe!" Gerald shouts. Celebi wants to help Gerald, so it uses Confusion between the two Mienshao. It works, but one of us was able to hit Celebi and knock it down until it faints. "I thought Mienshao was weak against Psychic attacks," Gerald said. "But little fuck boy," Clark says. "Mienshao used Payback, which can be used if attacked first, and it is a Dark-type move, which is strong against Psychic moves." Gerald breathes fast as Celebi is placed with a black harness. Ash J looks around the campus and sees that the trees turn black. "I think they got Celebi," he says. "Who did?" Moxie asks. "I want to know, too," Rocky says. Ash J explains the whole deal. "That explains why Gerald was fish out of water; what is the plan?" Moxie asks. "Call Officer Jenny and try to preserve the forest." "Let me help with my Meganium," Moxie says as she calls it out. "I'll help with my Venusaur," Rocky says as he calls it out. Meanwhile, Jeremy wakes up in a storage room with his friends. He sees Yumi hugging Hiroki. "What is going on?" Hiroki asks. Jeremy looks around and sees that the Pokemon are placed in Light Screen boxes. "So, Albert and Clark have Gerald and maybe Celebi," Ash says. "Where did he go, and why did he run off?" Ulrich asks. "I think he was scared," Aelita said. "Okay, we need to get out of here," Odd said as he tried to pick the lock. "It is a one-way lock," Johnny says. Moments later, two crew members bring food to the children while their Primeapes act as bodyguards. "Where is Gerald?" Dawn asks. "Serving his purpose," a woman said. "Let us go," Ash said as he tried to charge his way out. A man pushes him, and Allison catches him. "Cool it," she whispers. "We all need to be in one piece." The food is left on a table, and the crew leaves. Three Rattatas arrive and sniff the food. "Eek! I want to leave," Aelita says. "I think they're cute," Leya says. "Never admit that again," Lesteria says. "There has to be a way out," Brock says. On the other side of the door, the two crew members smile. "I hope they enjoy every last bite," the woman said. "Me too. I hope they eat until they can't eat anymore," the man says with a smile.
Albert and Clark connect the harness on Celebi's head to a machine with a glass screen. "We have to tap into Celebi's time travel abilities to go back in time," Clark says. "Good. Then we will take over Project Carthage before Waldo has a chance to leave. He won't know what hit him. Plus, we will control the world and have allies pay us to 'Maintain' world peace," Albert says with an evil laugh. "Waldo? Right! Stop. This plan is going never to work," Gerald shouts. "Fuck off," Albert says. "Clark and I were among some assistant scientists during the original project years ago during the eighties. When Waldo left, it sent the whole project back. He took files from the project as well. We wanted the files to restart the project, but since we can't find the flies and your friends seem to have something to do with it, we are going with plan B." "How did you know I was coming?" Gerald asks. "We didn't. We have been tracking Celebi's patterns for months. We used the movie as a front for our project. However, we got a tip from a friend about Waldo hiding out here years ago," Clark said. "Does he have a family?" "His wife was sent to a lab as a hostage, but he didn't come for her. Also, Waldo sent his daughter to live with her aunt, who is her mother's younger sister." Gerald is confused, but that quickly disappears when he hears Celebi crying. "Leave Celebi alone!" "Fuck off. We need to use you as a hostage so Celebi won't fight back," Albert shouts. The glass screen changes colors, and Clark sets a timer. "Soon, we will go back in time and take over Project Carthage and complete the mission," Calrk says. Gerald looks over and sees Squirtle in a sleep-like state. "I have to make things right. I have to fight back!" Gerald said.
Allison notices that the Rattatas didn't eat the food back in the storage room. "Weird, I thought they would touch the food," she says. "Good for me. I'm hungry," Odd says, but Allison stops him. "Wait, there has to be a reason." Allison gets up and walks over to the Pokemon. "Can she talk to them?" Johnny asks. "Well, my sister said that Allison is a part mouse, right Yumi?" Hiroki asks. Yumi blushes as Raichu growls. "Easy, Raichu," Allison says as she touches the Light Screen box. She walks over to Rattatas. They run to the food, sniff it and run away in fear. "I am trying to understand the Rattatas," Brock says. One of the Pokemon hisses at Hiroki. "Hey," Hiroki shouts. 'I think they didn't like you were making fun of Allison," Ash teases. "I got it," Allison says. "Well, can we eat?" Odd asks. "The food has been drugged!" "What!" The group exclaims. "It has a lot of drugs." "They want to stage an overdose of something," Aelita says. "What the hell? We need to get out of here and save Gerald," Yumi exclaims. "Well, can the Rattatas break the boxes to free our Pokemon?" Lesteria asks. "They can if the Pokemon helps them from their side," Brock said. The Pokemon agree. "Okay, I have an idea," Odd said. "You do? How bad is it?" Jeremy asks. "As an artist in the film industry, I have ways of creating a masterpiece." "Bad. Bad," Ulrich concludes. The two crew members see the children on the ground and the food missing a while later. "Good little children," the woman said. "Now, we can dispose of your bodies and make it seem that you were taking drugs. Have fun in rehab," the man said. The two Primeapes see the Rattatas near the boxes and try to tell their trainers, but they are dragged away but an army of Rattatas. Moments later, there was an explosion, a crash, and a boom, and the two crew members were tied up, and the Primeapes were in the boxes. "Whoa, Odd's plan work," Johnny said. "I knew it would," Dawn said to a blushing Odd. Gerald cries as the glass screen turns crimson, and noises are heard. "It is working!" Clark says as he hopes the room to be an outdoor setting. "Now, with Celebi, let's take back out destiny," Albert shouts. "Hitmontop, use Triple Kick," Yumin command, and Hitmontop knocks Celebi into Blissey's hands as she bounces away. "Houndoom, Smog!" Odd commands. Smog blocks the vision of Albert, Clark, and the Mienshaos. Jeremy and Aelita free Gerald and Squirtle. "Let's go," Jeremy says. Gerald nods in agreement.
The children race down the forest and try to get back to campus. "The trees look black," Yumi says. "Celebi is the Guardian of the Forest, and those two fuckers corrupted it. We have to get it to Nurse Joy so it can be healed and save the flora," Dawn says. Malamar uses Hyper Bean to knock down trees and separate the group. Celebi is now in the forest center, and everyone wants it. "I think this is a raid," Ash said. "Me too," Allison says. "What is a raid?" Gerald asks. "We all have to battle to see who gets Celebi," Brock says. "Let's go!" Odd shouts. The raid is in full swing between Flamethrower, Thunder, Fairy Wind, Triple Kick, and other moves. "Use Water Gun," Gerald commands. Squirtle uses a powerful move as some Primeapes go flying out of the forest. Gerald and Squirtle cheer but see Clark trying to steal the weakened Celebi. "Not so fast," Gerald runs towards Celebi, grabs it, and runs. "Use Ice Beam," Gerald commands Squirtle. Clark and two Mienshaos are stuck. Moments later, Aelita catches up to Gerald. "Not this time. You'll need back up." Gerald smiles as Plusle uses Iron Tail to break the harness. Celebi wakes up and smiles, which changes the flora to a dark color that is not black. "Thanks, take a break," Moxie tells her Pokemon. Rocky and Ash J said the same thing to their Pokemon. Officer Jenny arrives with the Police Force. "The flora looks better," Officer Jenny says. "Yeah, maybe Celebi is free," Moxie says. "But the forest looks sick still," Rocky says. "Celebi might be injured," Ash J said. "Then we need to get in there," Officer Jenny shouts. However, more Primeapes arrive and start to attack the group. "Blacky, use Shadow Ball and Liepard, use Night Slash," Ash J commands. "Venusaur, use Magical Leaf," Rocky commands. "Meganium, use Razor Leaf," Moxie commands. After breaking the harness off of Celebi, Aelita finds a berry. "This berry will help restore its energy. Celebi takes some bites. "It needs more," Gerald said. "I wish a Pokemon could heal it. "Blissey can, like when she healed Kiwi." "Right. Blissey works with Nurse Joy as well." "Right. Although Brock may be a teenager, he was studying to be a Pokemon Doctor." "Whoa. Why did he stop?" "The ban on Pokemon Training happened. Since Brock is not an adult, he had to go back to regular school despite his studies." Gerald nods. "Call Brock." Aelita is about to call Brock when she hears a click and a voice. "Don't you dare," Albert commands. Aelita and Gerald turned around and saw Plusle and Squirtle were ready to fight. "Stop!" Aelita cries out. Gerald holds on to Aelita as they stare at Albert and his gun. Back at the raid, the children were winning. "We are shrinking the army," Yumi said. Jeremy turns around and sees that Gerald and Aelita are gone. "Where are they?" "I think Gerald got Celebi to safety, and Aelita went to help him," Leya says. "But she was trying to text me, but the bubbling is still thinking," Brock says. "I'm going to go find them," Jeremy says. "We'll come too," Ulrich and Allison said. As they leave, Clark is cornered by Hiroki and Odd. Houndoom had used Payback, and Oshawott had used Hydro Pump when the two Mienshao had used Force Palm. "Tired?" Odd taunts. Clark growls as they tie him up. Yumi and Dawn tie up the crew members as Brock and Ash feed the Primeape. "Who knew that they were starved?" Ash asks. "Right. Starving them to control them is cruel," Brock said. Aelita feels the sweat running down her back as Albert points a gun at her and Gerald. Malamar appears and uses Psychic to take Celebi from Gerald's arms. Gerald starts to glow as she watches Celebi get further and further away from him. "No!" Geral cries as he grabs Celebi. "Gerald, stop!" Aelita cries out. Gerald engages in a tug-of-war with Malamar and wins. "Yes," Gerald said as runs back with Celebi and glowed. "Why are you glowing?" Aelita asks. "Celebi wants to take me back to my time, but I won't leave until it is safe. Albert growls. "If you won't leave, I'll do it myself!" Albert aims the gun at Gerald, and Aelita covers him as Albert shoots. The bullets fly toward them, but Ulrich's Gardevior uses Psychic to stop the bullet and destroy it. "Coward!" Allison shouts. "Using a gun makes you a coward! Raichu, use Thunder and Thievul, use Shadow Ball." The two attacks knock out Malamar, and Albert runs, but Lopunny uses Pound. "Where the fuck are you going?" Dawn asks. Jeremy runs to Aelita and Gerald. He kisses Aelita and hugs Gerald tightly. "I felt like my whole world would end," Jeremy said. "I felt the same way when I protected Gerald," Aelita said. Gerald smiles. Brock brings Blissey to use Healing Pulse to heal Celebi. Celebi smiles and flies around. It heals the Pokemon and flora and restores the park, forest, and greenery. As Officer Jenny arrests Albert, Clark, and the crew, the real director of Remember Me 2 reclaims the movie since the cast were all innocent victims. Aelita looks around the Hermitage and sees where Hiroki and Johnny were kidnapped. She picks up a box with two Poke Balls and sees a floppy disk. "Nobody uses these anymore. But what if they have the flies," she exclaims. She takes the floppy disk to Jeremy and transfers the data to a secure drive. Aelita lets out the Pokemon in the Poke Ball, and it is a Squirtle who shoots water at Aelita.
Early next morning was bittersweet because Celebi had to take Gerald back to his time. "I had an interesting time here, but I will miss you all," Gerald said. Everyone hugs him except for Jeremy and Aelita. Gerald runs up and hugs them tightly and kisses them on the cheek, which catches them off guard. Celebi touches him, and he goes poof. "I still would like to know where he came from?" Odd asks. "Yeah, like he said, his parents went here and that he heard about Project Carthage from them," Ulrich said. "I know," Allison said. "You do?" William asks. "Yep. It took a while, but I figured it out." "Tell us," Ash said. "Think long and hard about who he likes to hang out with," Allison said as she walked away. "So, does she know?" Dawn asks. "Who knows?" Yumi asks. Gerald wakes up but the lake and sees the pile of firewood he found along with Squirtle. "Gerald," his mother called. Gerald and Squirtle rush to her side. "I'm sorry I'm late." "Late? It has only been twenty minutes. Gerald was confused. His eldest sister, Allegra, looks up and sees the shiny Celebi. "Hi, take care," she said. Next, Gerald sees his older twin brother and sister walk out with two pots of food. "Dand can work a miracle," Victor said. "I know, this is good," Victoria said. "Where are the others?" Gerald asks. "Some are sleeping and playing hide and seek," Victoria said. Gerald sees his father and hugs him. "I missed you." "It was only firewood. But we knew you could do it," the father said. Gerald smiled. "Did you and Squirtle have fun on your adventure?" "Yeah, it was fun," Gerald runs off to wash up for dinner. At dinner, Jeremy asks Allison again. "Who is he?" "Well, I had my ideas, but I saw his wallet, and it had his student ID in it," Allison said. "And?" Aelita asks. "He is Gerald; what?" "Belpois! Stone!" Jim yells. "Here is a letter from Gerald. He wrote you boh something before he left." Aelita and Jeremy read it. "It is a picture of us with our Pokemon," Jeremy said. Brock gasps. "No way!" "It's only a picture," Aelita said. "No. He is," Brock starts. "His name is Gerald Courageux Carel Belpois," llison nsaid. Jeremy and Aelita did a spit take, and everyone gasped. "You know, he looks like Jeremy but has Aelita's dark red hair," William says. "That explained why he sought them out. He knew," Dawn said. "Plus, maybe he heard you guys take about Lyoko once or twice," Ash said. "Well, what is the saying: 'Understanding the Assignment," Ulrich said. "Yeah, he is like them," Yumi said. "He said that he has siblings, so it looks like you two will be busy!" Odd teases. "It is bad to know your future," Aelita said. "Agree!" Jeremy said. Back at the lake, Jeremy and Aelita observe Gerald as he interacts with his siblings. "It was nice to meet him," Jeremy said. "Yeah, and this time, we made sure he was ready," Aelita said. Celebi flies about and touches the trees, which glow brightly.
What an adventure! Members of Project Carthage came back to reclaim the project. Aelita and Jeremy's son traveled through time, and what a mega Pokemon episode. Now, we should have some more. An Absol is on top of the mountain and roars. Some rocks start to fall and need up on Kadic Academy's Campus. Ulrich wakes up and looks outside. He sees the Absol, but it leaves. "Did it call me?" Ulrich asks. Did it call Ulrich? Will he catch it? Only time will tell.
