A/N: Oops, I'm dumb. I forgot to have my character make her new bow before going to bed like she said she was going to last chapter. Let's say she did.

Chapter 6

Next morning, I went down to the enchanting floor where Sparky was waiting.

"Alright. All you need to do is place your bow in the enchanting table and look at the bottom one. The bottom is the best because it is the most expensive... but it takes a lot of tries sometimes to get what you want. What do you want on your bow?"

"Power 5 if possible."

"I'm not so sure you can get Power 5 on an enchanting table. Power 3 maybe would be more possible."

"Alright. Can you get enchanted books with higher Power levels?"

"Yeah, but we'd need to either find them in certain places, or get villagers with trades for them. I might have a couple Power books, but I don't know what they are."

"Ok, Power 3 will be good enough then." He nodded and we got to enchanting. Whoa, this is a whole new experience. This is super cool! So we had to cycle through a few times but finally got to Power 3. We actually even enchanted a couple books with lower Power to get to Power 4. We got Power 2 twice, so we can combine them for Power 3, then put that on the bow for Power 4. Nice! After my bow was done, I examined it and it felt really good. "Dude, this is really nice."

"Glad you like it. It's really cool you actually got Power 4. Very fortunate."

"No kidding. I'm so lucky. … ~snickers~ I mean, that is my name, soooo." He chuckled.

"So, wanna test it out in the Nether?"

"Ooo, the Nether. Sure."

"Be warned, we'll need one piece of gold armor for the Piglins. They'll attack you if you don't have at least one piece of gold armor. You can also trade them gold ingots and they'll give you something in exchange."

"Ok, so... what piece of gold armor is best?"

"It doesn't really matter. I think I have an extra piece of gold boots in my armor chest." He rummages through his chest, takes out some gold boots, and hands them to me. I put them on.

"Ok, and I can use my other armor for protection, right?"

"Yes, you can get that out and equip it." I get my ender chest out of my inner inventory and set it down, going through it to get my armor out. I equip my armor and also grab my sword. Then I use my silk touch pick to mine my ender chest after putting it in my hotbar. I switch things around to where I like them to be. Sword in first slot, bow in second, and pick in third. I put my ender chest in my inner inventory. I don't think I'll need it, I have everything I need right here. I just need arrows.

"Uh, I'm gonna need arrows."

"Oh, I've got plenty. I have Infinity on my bow, so any arrows I get from skeletons I just throw in a chest. ~rummages through a chest and gives me a bunch of arrows~ There, you should be stocked for a while."

"Dude, yeah, this is well enough to do some damage." I put them in the top left of my inner inventory, ending the row of arrows with my ender chest. "Well, I'm all set. You get ready and I'll meet you on your Nether portal floor." He nodded once and I went up the water elevator, getting out at the portal floor. I stood in front of it and looked at it. I'm in awe at it. It's so cool looking. Oh I can't wait to try out this bow. Sparky comes up next to me and looks at me.

"You ready?" I repeat, I have never been to the Nether, but I have heard tales and it seems a little sketchy. I took a deep breath.

"I think so." He took my hand.

"Let's go in at the same time. You might feel better if we went in together. You also don't need to be sketched out. I've been in the Nether plenty of times. I'm well geared enough to handle anything the Nether throws at us, and given your battling in the Naglfar fight, you seem to be a pretty good fighter too. I think you'll do fine. Now, let's go." I nodded and we stepped in the portal at the same time. We also came out the other side at the same time, still holding hands. We took a few steps forward. I looked around us.

"Whoa... this is so different from the over world..." I let go of his hand slowly, then took three more steps forward.

"It is, isn't it? Wanna go explore first, get your bearings in these surroundings before going to fight monsters?"

"That might be a good idea, but it's also getting really hot. Not like the heat bothers me anyway. My second name is Fire after all. I actually have a natural resistance to fire and lava. Wanna see?" He looked a little sketched out by that. "I'll be fine, watch." I walk into the fire that's on the ground and it's not hurting me.

"I've never seen anything like that. How?"

"Dunno, ~walks out of the fire~ it's been that way ever since I was little. My dad was a potions master. He loved potions and was always experimenting with different potions. He was trying to figure out a way to make the fire potion better. Like so you could see under lava instead of the whole, orange field of view you get when you're under lava. He was also doing lots of other things with other potions at the same time too... I wonder if one of his experiments got out of hand when I was little? I had to have been about 2, and no one remembers when they're 2, so it could be possible..."

"Whoa, if your dad was able to somehow make it so that you can be in fire and lava indefinitely, then he was a genius."

"Well, it would have been an accident, but yeah. He's a genius... well, was... I wonder if he could do the seeing in lava thing too? Ooo, let me try." We go to a lava lake and I jump in, just like that. Sparky made a concerned noise, but settled down when he saw I was fine. I went under the lava and I actually could see! Dude. Dad. Was. A. Genius! Again, accidentally, but still. I came out of the lava and I just had this look on my face. Sparky knew immediately.

"You can see?"

"Yes, and it's amazing. Sparky, if there's something lava related, I'm your girl to go to for help. You bet your booty on that." He snickered.

"You got it Lucky." We then finally went on to tour the area, for me to get used to it. Ugh, the soul sand is sooo annoying.

"Ugh, I wish there was a better way to travel on soul sand...", I complained.

"There actually is. You could get Soul Speed. You can get as high as Soul Speed 3."

"Huh. How do you get that?"

"By trading with Piglins. It's not very common, so you have to get lucky." I smirked.

"Boy. My name is Lucky. Gimme some gold. Let's see how my luck goes with these Piglins." He chuckled and handed me some gold to work with. We walked around and eventually found some Piglins. I traded them some gold and by the 12th one, I got a Soul Speed book. I looked at it. Soul Speed 2. Not too bad. Let's see how many times I can get Soul Speed. I traded plenty more times and when I ran out of gold, I had gained 2 Soul Speed 1s. "Nice, I can combine these to make Soul Speed 2, then combine the 2s for a 3. Told ya I could do it."

"I never doubted you for a moment." I grinned. Then we looked for some monsters. Actually, we searched for a fortress. We finally found one, but it took agonizingly long to do...

"Ugh, finally we find a fortress. Hey, do you think it'd be looted?"

"Nah, I doubt it." We went off looking for chests to loot. We found a few, and then we went to find Blazes. We found them pretty quick. I'm excited to try out my bow. I take it out and aim. As soon as one spawned, I fired. One, two, three arrows and it was down. I went to pick up the Blaze rod.

"Dude, love it." Then there was a Wither Skeleton coming toward us. I hit that in 5 shots. Jeez that thing has a lot of health. Also, no Wither skull. Oh well, I'm not looking for them, so it doesn't bother me much. After many monster endings, we called it a day. We got back to the portal and Sparky was feeling the heat. We went through the portal and came out where we went in. "Oh wow, we're back home?"

"Yup, that's how Nether portals work. You can also travel by Nether."

"Whoa, epic." I put my things in my ender chest and have my inventory the way I had it before going to the Nether. I then looked out the window. It was actually dark out. "Wow, night time already?"

"Yeah, time gets lost in the Nether. We should get to sleep." I nodded. We bade each other good night then went our separate ways to our beds. Today was very tiring, so as soon as my head hit the pillow, I was out.
