A/N: oops, I forgot voice projecting was actually the first ability that showed up for Lucky, not lie detecting. Oh well. As time goes on, she'll start gaining her other abilities. Also, yes, I know Dianite leads them through the temple, not Hermod, but in my story, Dianite stayed back with Ianite and Mianite.

Chapter 10

Sparky and I landed next to the others.

"You all good now Lucky?", Karl asked.

"Yeah, I'm good. Let's go. Where we going?"

"To the Temple of Light. Follow me.", Hermod answered. We all Elytra'd there. Wow this whole place isn't just a temple, there's lots of trees and a lake around it, but the temple itself was beautiful. We had gone in the tree because that's where it was. There were a few blue vines, I have seen them in the Nether but I don't remember what they're called. Hermod led the way up one of them. As we went through the gap in the ceiling,

"Whoa... this place is gnarly...", Sparky and I said, then grinned at each other because of the synchronicity.

Sparky tilted his head slightly, as if he's trying to listen to something. I furrowed my brow in confusion. He looked at me after a bit.

"Tom and Karl are both in a different place. There's a portal at the end of this area. You might want to put some armor on and get your weapons out." I nodded, then put down my ender chest. I got out my armor, put it on, then got out my sword, bow, and one arrow. Man, I'm so glad Ianite gave me Infinity. I broke the ender chest with my Silk Touch pick axe and put it in my inner inventory, next to my single arrow.

"I'm ready." Sparky nodded, then we went through the portal. Whoa, there's quite a few monsters on the other side. We all fight them and win. Then we get told of the Architects and the Guardians. The Guardians' mansion is where we need to go to find the Air stone, but we can't wake them up. We get instructed to go up the water. Sparky used a trident, where Tom, Karl, Hermod, and I all just have to swim. Sparky reached the top then looked down from where he was, watching us come up the water after him. When the last one reached the top, we all snuck through what we found out was the sewer and found where we needed to go.

There were 4 beds. One red, one blue, and two purples. The purples were in the middle, the blue on the left and red on the right. To our right was a door. We set our spawn at the beds and went through the door. We found a journal that said we needed to find 5 keys for the tomb in which the Air stone lies. When we went out of that room, we were greeted by a guard dog, who barked. I had some bones from a skeleton that I unalived. I got them out and waved one in front of the dog.

"Here boy, you want the bone? It's nice and tasty. Go get it!" I threw it a fair distance away and he chased it. We didn't see him again.

"Smart Lucky. Now, let's go.", Tom said. We ran into three more dogs, to whom of which I did the same as the first. The others grinned at me, then we continued on our way, sneaking through the mansion. I found one key, Jordan found another, Tom found two, and Karl found one. We needed to figure out riddles which we easily got through. Then we went to the basement to where the door is which we needed the keys for. After we opened it, there's a minecart railway.

"Oooo, this looks fun.", I said. We all grabbed a minecart from the chest and all got in. There were 3 tracks. When we reached the end, we all got out and looked around the new room. We all went forward and then we saw a chest. There was a lectern in front, Tom read two lines of it then grabbed the stone before any of us could. Then Sparky read the rest of what the book said.

"The test of the Guardians? That doesn't sound good...", I said. The others agreed. Then a voice rang out.

"You fools... you stole the stone before me. My master will not be happy. I will summon a dragon to destroy everything." Then all of a sudden, we heard flapping and a dragon roaring. Oh no... this'll definitely wake up the Guardians... Sparky found a door behind the tomb where we found the Air stone. Yup, there's the dragon. We all crammed ourselves into the doorway, trying to see, which made Sparky almost fall off a decent height.

"Whoa (x12) man... you almost knocked me off!" We all grinned sheepishly, then filed out one by one to climb a blue vine that was near the door. We reached a safe place to move around so that we could beat the dragon. Once it appeared, Sparky used his Elytra to fly around and shoot at the dragon while the rest of us kept to the side of the tree and shot our arrows at it. Then Sparky finally landed and shot at the dragon. After a long time, we finally defeated it. Wow, so that's what it feels like to beat the Ender Dragon... sadly there's no many levels of experience to be gained, but still. The experience of beating it was worth it. Then two people called Hrodi and Thornar appeared in front of us.

"Who are you people?", they asked.

"Why did you take our Air stone? Explain yourselves please.", Thornar asked.

"Ask the one who took it.", Sparky replied, looking pointedly at Tom.

"Cap did it.", Tom instantly retorted. I shook my head at him.

"Incorrect.", Sparky shot back.

"We are the Guardians of the stones.", Thornar said.

"Wait, you are the heroes from my dreams.", Hrodi said.

"Heroes? They are protectors?"

"I cannot see the future of this world anymore, but I know you 4 are at its center."

"Do you have a cafe or a bar where we could talk?", Hermod asked.

"Yes, let's go to the bar for some drinks and talk this out.", Thornar replied.

"Sounds like my sort of friend.", Hermod said.

"Yeah, let's settle this with a drink. Huzzah!", Tom said as we followed Hrodi and Thornar to the bar they have in their mansion.

"I could have sworn we had more mead here?", Hrodi said confused.

"Did you make this island?", Hermod asked.

"We made everything.", Hrodi replied.

"Where're those guard dogs?", Thornar asked, looking around every room. He'll find them chewing on bones.

"Wow, this place is beautiful in the day time.", Karl said.

Sparky and I just sat at a table patiently. Hrodi handed us some Dragon mead. We saved it until everyone had one. Finally we all had one and Hermod started drinking right away, then Tom, then I tried it. Whoa, that stuff's no joke. Sparky then gave in and tried it. Hrodi kept giving us more mead. Sparky wasn't impressed at the giving of more mead. He kept the others he got as did I.

"We're the creators of the worlds. Anything we think of becomes reality with time.", Thornar said.

"Now we are the watchers of the realms. I have seen what has been happening, but I no longer see its future.", Hrodi said.

"So what does that mean for us?", Sparky asked.

"Why don't you see anymore?", Tom asked.

"Something is blocking it. The light and the dark are no longer in balance." Sparky and I looked at each other. Tom was just confused. Sparky and I look back to Hrodi.

"How do we fix that?", Sparky asked.

"But Dianite is back, and Ianite and Mianite are also. So how is there not balance?", Tom said.

"We speak of old gods.", Thornar said.

"Older than our gods?!", Tom exclaimed.

"We see more than you do zombie boy.", Hrodi said.

"Wow, they're saying your eyesight's bad, you gonna take that?", Sparky asked, egging Tom on. I gave Sparky a stern look.

"No need to anger the Guardians. Tom, don't listen to Sparky. If we want to stay on the Guardians' good side, we need to stay friendly and cooperative.", I said.

"I agree with Lucky. Let's not get on their bad side.", Karl agreed.

"Alright, fine.", Tom and Sparky said.

"We were tasked with guarding the stones.", Hrodi said.

"Wanna try this wand?", Thornar asked Tom.

"Yes!"

"No." I laughed as did Sparky and Karl. We lightly teased Tom about getting tricked, then listened as Hrodi said more things.

"But I could not even see you coming here, so maybe... maybe you heroes can fix this." Tom then read a dream journal that he must have found as we were looking for the keys.

"Cute journal.", he ended with.

"Oi, is that my dream journal?", Hrodi asked, then tapped Tom's arm and held out his hand. Tom teased a little then gave him back his journal. I sighed, so much for agreeing not to get on their bad side... well, I guess that's a Dianite follower for you. Hermod had mentioned something which made Tom reply to him. Hermod was standing on the door which made up the back of the chair at the table and Sparky opened the door, making Hermod come to the ground. I snickered and Tom chuckled.

"Well that was rude.", he said, to which Sparky chuckled.

"I was testing his reflexes, making sure he's still operating. Not really.", he replied. Then, all of a sudden, Tom and Sparky both realized Hrodi said something a while back.

"So how can we fix this?", Tom asked at the same time Sparky asked, "How can we fix the balance?"

"Someone named Gandus wants to take over the world and plans to throw off the balance of the world.", Hrodi replied.

"Can I hold your wand?", Tom asked. Karl said something in reply to that and Hermod compared himself to a corrupt billionaire. Jeez, this lot is something else and literally everyone is all over the place with their discussions... I can't keep up... I lounge back into my seat and drink a second Dragon mead.

"We will take you home. We will add a portal so we can communicate and work together.", Thornar said.

"That sounds like a good plan Thornar.", I said a little wearily. These guys are wearing me out.

"Is Gandus the Darkness? If you're familiar with that term.", Sparky asked.

"He is allied with the Darkness.", Hrodi answered.

"Who is the Darkness, what is the hierarchy? Who is on top?", Sparky asked.

"Hang on! Where is the Architect?", Tom asked.

"I give you a training wand. That does nothing by the way.", Thornar said.

"Wot is the Darkness and we are the Architects.", Hrodi said. Wot... Sparky told me of him when we first met. Hmm...
