Lemonade
William goes to science class and puts on his lab coat. He looks around and sees the students talking about Bridgeton. "I need to catch up. I know that I was 'not myself' and I missed a lot but come on. I need a win!" Yumi arrives with her lab coat and sits next to William. "Hey," Yumi said. "Hey, how's it going?" William asks. "Good. Life is normal, and I finally can breathe." William can sense that Yumi is stressed. Yumi's hand taps the table in a one-two beat as if she is waiting for something. William looks through the exercise book and sees a formula that is doesn't know. "When did we do this?" "In February," Yumi answers. William is confused, and Yumi bites her lips. "I'm sorry. You weren't-" "I know. Can you help me catch up?" Before Yumi could answer, Ms. Hertz arrived. "Class, we will begin with Exercise C on page 25." William gulps; that is the formula he doesn't know. "Also, Mr. Dumbar, to the principal's office." "What!" William shouts. "You heard me!" William grumbles and leaves. "At least you're back to normal!" Ms. Hertz sneers. William looks back and heads for the principal's office in tears. As he walks, he starts to feel XANA's pulsations. "It's back!" Then he sees himself or the polymorphic clone. "Wait, XANA!" William shouts. "Dumbar!" Jim shouts. The cameras caught the clone breaking the trees in the park, and everyone thought it was human William. "I didn't. I was sleeping!" "Sleepwalking!" Jim insists. "William, you had an unusual year last year," Mr. Delmas said. "You have no idea," William thought. "So, you will collect the branches and replant them with the groundskeeper." William's mouth dropped. "I didn't do anything!" "Do you want detention as well?" "No, sir." William leaves and looks around. "Why doesn't XANA want to clone me. I think I should tell the others." William takes out his phone when the groundskeeper takes it. "Come with me!" William is dragged away.
Meanwhile, Aelita is sitting with Yumi and Odd in the courtyard. She starts to feel XANA's pulsations. "XANA is launching an attack," she said. "Again. We had one like every day this week," Odd said. "Like the good ole days," Yumi teases. "No," Odd said. "Anyway, did you hear about William?" "He damaged some trees," Aelita said. "What? Are you sure it is William?" Odd asks. "Clear as day," Yumi said. Odd shakes his head. Jeremy calls the group. "XANA has activated a tower in the Desert Sector," Jeremy said. "I sensed something," Aelita said. The three head for the factory and meet up with Brock, Ash, and Dawn. "Where are Allison and Ulrich?" Odd asks. "Ulrich is on his way. Allison is in the middle of an errand and will join us shortly. They can be on standby," Jeremy said. "Well, let's go!" Ash said. The Warriors enter Lyoko and are flabbergasted. The Desert Sector had active sand storms, and certain areas had quicksand. "Forget the sector; what about the monsters?" Brock exclaims. There are about thirty krabs all lined up. "Jeremy, there is no way we can get through this," Yumi said. "When Ulrich and Allison arrive, I'll send them." "We need a plan," Dawn said. "We split up, and each takes down two krabs," Brock said. "Then, we need to clear a path for Aelita," Ash said. "You all know that I can fight too, right?!" Aelita states. She firmly crosses her arms. "We know. However, you are the only one who can deactivate towers," Yumi said. "I know." With that, they get to work. Yumi jumps on one krab and uses her fans to knock out two krabs. Odd climbs on a rock and launches arrows at two krabs. One gets hit, and the other gets lost in a sand storm. Ash uses his sword to cut the legs of a krab and roll it into two others. Dawn uses her Poi sticks to strike two krabs, while Brock also uses his bow and arrows to hit two. Aelita waits for an opening and charges at a krab; she uses her energy fields to hit not one but two krabs. "We are making great progress," Jeremy said. The next thing they knew, the krabs changed colors. "Blue krabs? I mean, blue krabs are rare, but?" Dawn questions. The lasers from the krabs split in two knocked everyone out, and de-virtualized them, leaving Aelita as the only one on Lyoko. Ulrich arrives to see the madness unfold. "What the fuck is happening?" Ulrich asks. "XANA has sent an army that wiped everyone out," Jeremy said. "Where's Allison?" "I'm going to call her," Jeremy said.
Allison walks into the courtyard as she drops off a package for the history teacher. "Done, now to the factory," she said. "Are you sure?" XANA-William said. "Excuse me? You should be replanting trees." "Or, I will crush you!" XANA-William said as he shot electricity at Allison. Allison throws a ball in his face and runs. He chases her. William takes a break from replanting and sees Allison being chased by his clone. "You're not going to frame me, you SOB," William said. Allison pulls a tree branch back and releases it, which hits XANA-William. "Great, XANA has possessed William," Allison said. She enters the gym and takes a bat. XANA-William takes a bat as well, and the two go at it. Allison hits XANA-William in the head, and he hits her in the stomach. Allison runs her stomach as XANA-William charges at her. Allison trips him, and he crashes into a ball pit. Allison hides in a closet with a back door. XANA-William wakes up and looks around. He sees the Willam walks in, and runs. William starts to clean up and gym, and Allison opens the door. "XANA cleans up after itself; since when?" Allison questions. She tiptoes out of the room and tries to leave when William spots her. "Wait!" He tries to grab her, and Allison kicks his hand away and aims to hit him. What are you doing, Allison?" William asks. Allison quickly hides the bat. "I saw a spider," she said. "Right. I have a fear of spiders. I'll think you'll leave it and run." "No time like the present to conquer your fears." "Stop! I know that you were running from a clone!" Allison looks around. "What are you talking about?" "Allison, I know that XANA's back. I knew something was up with the lightning strike." "What do you mean?" "I knew that Ash was lying when I called." "Oh," Allison said. "And I saw the Maleficent wannabe attack and the rain dance." "Do you want a cookie?" "Fuck no. I can sense XANA,' William said. Allison steps back. "Like how Aelita can feel pulsations?" "Yeah, but on Earth." "She can too." "Which reminds me, how did you make the ball pit come alive?" "What do you mean?" "The way the clone fell in and was swallowed was weird." Allison thinks about it. It felt like she used her manipulation powers on Earth. "I don't think I did anything," she said. "Well, I think it is fucked up that I am not back in the group." "William, that is something that you should tell the group." "Sure; when can I meet them?" Allison sighs. "if you want my opinion, I think you should be given a chance to redeem yourself. However, I have a warning." William nods. "You were XANA's greatest weapon. It will do anything to get you back. So you have to watch your back. XANA may shift from targeting Aelita to you." "I understand. I am willing to take that risk." Moments later, Jeremy calls Allison. "Where are you?" "At the gym, XANA sent a William clone after me." "Are you okay?" "Yeah. What is going on?" "Well, XANA sent an army of krabs and wiped everyone out." "What?" "Yeah, there are twenty left, and you and Ulrich have to defeat them." "Jeremy, the most I have defeated is four, maybe five." "I know, but you and Ulrich are our only hope," Jeremy said. Allison gulps and looks at William, who is listening on speakerphone. "Jeremy, I have an idea," Allison said. "Okay." "But, it is-' "Spit it out!" "William is right next to me and-" "What! No!" Ulrich shouts. "Ulrich, calm down!" "No. Fuck no!" "Ulrich, we need all the human resources. He followed me as the clone was chasing me and-" "No!" "Ulrich, fuck off!" Yumi shouts. Ulrich looks at her. "I know we said that we would talk about it later, but we need all the help we can get." "Plus, the RTTP doesn't work on him. He remembers it all and-" Before Allison can finish the part about the pulsations, William cuts in. "Look, I fucked up, which made defeating XANA much more difficult. However, I learned my lesson, and I want to be a team player." Ulrich growls. "Look, William is coming because arguing about it won't solve anything," Allison said. "And I swear if Ulrich tries to do anything stupid, I'm going to kick his ass!" "Well, I am not working with William!" Ulrich balks.
Allison and William get to the elevator. "Why did you stop me from telling the group about you feeling XANA's pulsations?" "Because I don't want them to think I am evilly linked to XANA," William said. Sure, so they can't betray you. William holds his head. "Is everything okay?" Allison asks. "I feel like I am being drawn to Lyoko," William said. In the elevator, Jeremy brings them up to speed. "Ulrich?" Allison asks sternly. "You know, Ulrich is a man of action," Odd said. "His motherfucking ass went to Lyoko!" "Well, it was nice knowing him," Ash teased. "Also, William, do you want to tell Odd something?" Allison asks. "Yeah. I saw the baseball game beforehand, and after the RTTP, I tricked you so that you would lose the bet," William gleefully said. "You shithead!" Odd said as the others laughed. Allison and William arrive at Lyoko, and William takes in his appearance. "Still all black but no XANA logo." Aelita waves at them. Allison angrily approaches Ulrich. "You asshole, you could have blown this shit up!" "I'm sorry. I took one look at the krabs, and I knew I was being an asshole!" Ulrich said. Aelita gulps at the sight of William. "Sorry, just only used to evil William," Aelita said. "No need to worry," William said. "We should worry," Dawn said. "They have twenty krabs to deal with, and they all have mutated," Brock said. "The four of them can handle it," Ash said. "The plan, knock out as many as possible so Aelita can get to the tower. When the coast is clear, Aelita runs, fights, do whatever you have to do," Ulrich said. "Good. I have 80 life points left, so I'll try," Aelita said. "Great," William said. Allison flies above and aims at two krabs. Ulrich uses his Super Sprint to sneak up on two krabs and knocks them out. William gulps. He flashes back to when he was on Sector Five and shakes it off. "Hey, none of us were good the first time. Fuck, I didn't even know I was a human. Relax, We've got your back," Aelita said. William nods and takes out her weapon, and takes out two krabs. The battle rages on as Allison tricks one krab into taking out another. William uses Super Smoke to dodge some lasers. With only three krabs left, Aelita decides to run for the tower but is blocked by the krab that was trapped in the sandstorm by Odd. Allison looks around and sees a puddle of quicksand nearby. "Stand back," she commands William and Ulrich. She uses her Manipulation powers to bring the quicksand to the krabs and swallows them whole. "Yeah!" Ulrich said. William nods but looks at the tower and runs towards it. "Alright!" Allison said as she looked around. "Wait, where's Aelita?" Ulrich looks around. "Wasn't there another krab?" "In the sandstorm! Uh-oh, We fucked up!" "I think she was de-virtualized." "And I went head-on you because- is that William?" Ulrich turns around and sees William entering the tower. "Is he going to-" before he can finish, the sandstorm krab hits both Ulrich and Allison. They wake up in the scanner room with Aelita. "Aelita!" Allison calls out. "I'm sorry. I didn't see the krab. Where's William/" Aelita asks. "Deactivated the tower," Ulrich states as Aelita gasps. "He can't. Can he?" Yumi asks. "I don't understand!" Ash exclaims. "I am looking into it," Jeremy said as Ulrich, Allison, and Aelita entered the lab. "It seemed that when XANA took control of William, it left some source codes in him, similar to the ones Aelita has." "That is why he can feel the pulsations," Allison said. "What did you say?" Dawn asks. "He said that he can feel the pulsations. He saw the lightning strike coming before we did. That is why he was able to push Aelita out the way." "So, XANA left a present in William?" Odd asks. William enters the tower, places his hands on the screen, and sees his name. "Here I go." He enters the code, LYOKO, and the building deactivates.
In the lab, Jeremy runs tests and tells the group his findings. "XANA gave William source codes so he can deactivate towers like Aelita and feel XANA's pulsations." "I also understand Supercomputer Lingo," William said. "Such as?" Odd asks. "Jeremy is working on a fast track Skid which will hold the original members of the ship, but once we are docked on a replica, Jeremy can virtualize others on the replica. So all of us can be there at once." Jeremy raises an eyebrow. "I see. XANA has a stronger presence on Earth, and he is no longer living on our Lyoko; we need to plan to branch out and find him." "On the plus side, we have two people who can deactivate the tower and three who can give us the reader's digest version on things," Ulrich notes. "Also, William is now a group member," Allison said. 'Welcome, again," Ash said. "Thanks," William said. "Plus, I want a redo of the bet," Odd demands. "What bet?" Ulrich asks. Later that night, Yumi sits at home and thinks. "Wow, the hothead has become one of our greatest allies." She looks up and hears her laptop ring and sees that she has an email. "Lucky Strike!" Yumi reads. "The Maroon 5 song?" William sits on the floor as Ash, Brock, Dawn, and Allison walk by at the dorms. "How do you feel?" Ash asks. "Weird. Being with XANA was a living nightmare, but I have a gift. I don't want to blow this chance," William said. "You won't. I told you that XANA would do anything to get you back, but it won't make the same mistake twice," Allison said. "Yeah, but do the others trust me?" "They do. They do. We need all hands on deck right now," Brock said. "Wait, where did the clone go?" Dawn asks. "I'm not sure," Allison said. Jeremy and Aelita were talking in the hallway about William. "Who knew that William would have been given source codes," Aelita said. "I know, but that is a mistake on XANA's part. We can use that, and William has grown up, something that the rest of us need to do," Jeremy said. Aelita smiles and gives Jeremy a peck on the cheek when a blond-haired girl crashes into them. "Excuse me. I was reading and walking," the girl said. "We're sorry," Aelita said. "You couldn't have said that to Dawn," Jeremy teases. the girl looks at the couple and smiles. "Laura, Laura Gauthier," she said. "I'm Aelita Stones, and this is Jeremy Belpois," Aelita said. "Nice to meet you," Laura said. After that, Jeremy walks Aelita back to her room and kisses her. Aelita enters her room and sees an email. "JA ARA E and ALREADY. Aelita said these are both songs from The Lion King: The Gift. Laura walks into her room and smiles. "I wonder what source codes are," she said with an evil laugh.
So, William has connections to Lyoko like Aelita, nice. Also, he is accepted back into the group, and he feels more comfortable except for the voices. Next, there is the new girl Laura, who overheard Aelita and Jeremy. Is she a friend or foe? The next day, the tenth graders are going on a trip to Professor Pine's lab. The buses are brand new and state-of-the-art. One bus driver notices something on the steering wheel. "Is this a new logo?" "I think so," the other driver said as the Eye of XANA flashed.
