From the Hermitage, Jeremy and Aelita work on a program that would allow them to enter Lyoko without being detected by Professor Tyron. "The Hermitage is the only place where we can get work done," Jeremy said. "Especially since a student is working with him," Aelita said. "It appears he was close to your father; do you remember him?" "No. If anything, it was before I was born. Maybe he monitored my father for a while and us when the Supercomputer was turned on." Jeremy kisses Aelita on the head. "It will all be over soon. Our goal is to check out the Volcano Replica. If it is XANA's home, we need to destroy it," Jeremy states. Meanwhile, the others have split up into groups. Brock was inspired to make Old Gateau. "I download the recipe from my days in Sinnoh. The group is going to be on cloud 9." At the same time, Allison, Dawn, and Ash are training with their Pokemon. William is taking notes. "Okay, Orbeetle, take notes," William said. Allison has Raichu and Glaceon with her; Dawn has Piplup and Quilava, and Ash has Pikachu and Dracovish. Elsewhere, Yumi, Ulrich, and Odd searched for flies related to the Cortex or XANA that they had missed. Ulrich still thinks about the scandalous report about Dawn and Odd. "Odd, can I talk to you?" Gardevior uses psychics to move papers around. Houndoom uses his head but notices that Hitmontop is scared. Hitmontop point to the light fixture that is sparking. "Hitmontop!" "Houndoom!" Gardevior uses her psychic powers to detect anything and sense nothing. "Gardevior!" The Pokemon look at their trainers. "Hipmontop!"
Boys, let's look in the next room," Yumi said. Odd and Houndoom leave first. "Is everything okay?" Yumi asks. "Dawn," Ulrich said. "I see. I have questions too. A light fixture sparks as they leave the room and enter the darkened hallway. Meanwhile, Pikachu and Dracovish have a battle. "Dracovish has a type advantage Pikachu because it is a dragon-type," William says. "Yeah. Pikachu and counter the water-type moves, so it is even-steven," Dawn said. "However, Pikachu is known for defying the odds," Ash said. "Pikachu, use Thunderbolt. Dracovish, use Water Gun!" Ash commands. William notices the fan is on, so he turns it off, but it sparks. I wonder if this place is haunted." "I asked. Aelita doesn't like that," Dawn teases. William gets hit with Water Gun. "Oops," Ash said. "I was feeling a bit dry," William jokes. Allison looks up, notices that the ceiling fan is on, and decides to change the speed to dry William.
Yumi, Odd, and Ulrich enter the study and look around. Ulrich still asks Odd questions about Dawn. "Fuck off," Odd said. Yumi checks a cabinet and finds a box of chocolates. "We hid these from Odd last week; we should put them in the fridge," she said. She hides them in a fondue set to hide it from Odd. The set turns into a Heart Rotom and eats the snack. Odd walks away from Ulrich and finds a binder of notes. "These are blueprints about different versions of XANA," Odd said. "Scan them and put them in the file labeled XANA 2.0. Jeremy will see it," Yumi said. When Odd does that, a Frost Rotom appears (from a mini fridge) and steals the laptop. Gardevior stomach growls. "I know. Brock said that he is making a special treat, but I should give you a snack," Ulrich said. He plugs in the fondue set that still works and warms up some Poke Chex made for psychic types. Heat Rotom comes back and eats it. "Hey!" Ulrich shouts. "Where is the food for Gardevior?" Odd asks. "I don't know." Yumi looks for the chocolates she found. "I found the chocolate we stored last week, but it is gone as well," Yumi said. "Is there another Pokemon? Our Pokemon are staving," Odd said. The teens argue amongst themselves until Hitmontop yells. "Hitmontop!" A Frost Rotom appears before them and fires Blizzard, sending them running. "What the fuck is that?" Odd asks. "I'm leaving this room!" Yumi said. The Pokemon start to run. "Houndoom, use Flamethrower," Odd commands. Flamethrower counters the Blizzard but Heat Rotom fires Flamethrower back. The group heads for Aelita's old room as Jeremy and Aelita hear their friends. "What was that?" Jeremy asks. "Maybe a Rattate," Aelita said. "They do live here." "Whatever," Jeremy said. Brock calls the couple from the kitchen. "What is going on?" "Who knows," Jeremy said. "Okay, can you call Ash? I promised that he and William could be taste testers." "Sure," Aelita said.
After the battle, Ash, Allison, Dawn, and William leave the study and head for the generator. "I hope we didn't cause any damage," William said. Dracovish's Water Gun was so powerful that it caused the ceiling fan to spark more and more. Suddenly, the door for the generator room opens on its own. They head inside, and Pikachu spots something moving down a hall. "What do you see?" Ash asks. Raichu senses something as well, and the Pokemon go off to follow it. They follow Pikachu and Raichu to another room and see the fondue set. "Why is it here?" Allison asks. Piplup looks at it and pecks at it. While the trainers go and check on the generator, Pikachu opens the lid of the fondue and climbs in to check. Heat Rotom appears and closes the top, which causes Pikachu to use Thunderbolt to break free, the electric attack striking the generator. "Orbeetle!" Ash and William check on Pikachu. Raichu and Glaceon quickly point at the fondue set, which has reverted to normal. "Maybe they saw a ghost, "William said. "Ghost, no way. Maybe the fondue set is on the fritz. It smells like Pokemon Food," Allison said. Pikachu's attack powers the generator and restores electricity and lighting to the basement floor. "Brock calls, and Dawn answers. "Hey, the wifi is back," Dawn said. "I can see that. Where are the boys? They said they want to be my taste testers," Brock said. "We're checking something out." "Okay. Have them come in ten minutes," Brock said. "Well, since Pikachu is shaken up, I think we should go outside," Ash said. "I'll go too. I think we spent too much time here," William said. "Boys," Dawn scoffs. "Meet Brock in the kitchen in ten minutes to taste the Old Gateau." "Okay," William said. "We, the girls, will search for flies on Tyron inside," Allison said.
Outside, Dracovish battles Orbettle. "Dracovish, Ice Fang," Ash commands. "Orbeetle, Confused Ray," William oversees. Confused hits a drone on the ground. "Shit! We hit Tobias' Drone that he lost!" William said. "We should check it out. He will lose his shit if it is broken," Ash said. Ash, William, and their Pokémon check the damaged Drone, which transforms into Drone Rotom. Rotom scares the boys back into the Hermitage. "Boo!" "Aah!" William and Ash scream! Pikachu, Orbeetle, and Dracovish run downstairs. In the Hermitage, Dawn and Allison find a perfume bottle in a box. "It smells like the scent Laura loves, champagne toast," Allison said. "There is no way that she was her, right?" Dawn asks. Quilava finds a white powder and makes a sound. "Quilava!" Dawn puts on a glove and places the powder in a bag. "It has that same scent that William mentioned," Allison said. "Cat litter. He told me." Later on, Glaceon notices that Piplup is getting cold, so she uses her tail and turns off the running fan. Moments later, Fan Rotom appears and scares Piplup and Glaceon. Glaceon uses Icy Wind on the fan. "Glaceon!" Allison commands. "Why did you do that?" She cleans the fan and transforms it into Fan Rotom, which chases the girls and their Pokemon out of the room. "Oh, shit!" Dawn said. "I should have left it alone!" Dawn said. Aelita hears Dawn. "Is everyone losing their shit?" Aelita asks. "Well, wait, I found something," Jeremy said. "What?" "We have been hacked from the inside." "How?" "When the factory was on fire that day, the person snuck in and changed the RTTP program to include themselves. however, it also affected the program as a whole." "But, that is sloppy," Aelita said. "It must have been a rushed job," Jeremy said. Aelita frowns. "Who could it be and why?" "The reason is that they are working with Tyron. Maybe it is part of L.T. Industries? They could have a school." "They do, and they sent an exchange student, but those flies are sealed," Aelita said.
The girls run into the boys as they talk about their two encounters with possessed appliances. "You saw a possessed drone," Allison said. "And you saw a crazy fan," William said. "We should tell Yumi, Ulrich, and Odd," Dawn said. "Yumi would tell us that we are stressed out. Brock! Maybe some food can help us," Ash said. Drone Rotom appears. "Aah! Why am I getting Deja Vu?" Ash asks. "Me too!" Dawn asks. "You have been through this shit before!" William exclaims. "William, you have a lot to learn about our side of the group!" Allison shouts as Dronw Rotom them around. (Cue Alien Superstar by Beyonce) The group evades Rotom by going up a set of stairs to the second floor. However, they spot a washing machine and already realize what will happen. "Since when is there a washing machine?" William asks. "That is a trap!" Allison shouts. Wash Rotom fires Hydro Pump at them, forcing them to run away. They reach the back staircase and get inside before Rotom smacks into the staircase door. They head back to the ground floor. When they get down, they check the hall. It's clear at first, but Fan Rotom appears and chases them into the kitchen, and they run into Brock, who is giving water to Yumi, Ulrich, Odd, and their Pokemon. "What the fuck is going on?" Brock asks. "First, these guys are losing it, and now you all have seen a ghost or some shit." "We did!" William shouts. "We saw and fan and a drone," Dawn explains. "We also saw a random ass washing machine," Allison said. "We did too," Odd said. "After a mini fridge froze Houndoom's mouth shut, we saw a washing machine," Odd said. "I thought I told you to chill," Brock said. "All of you are stressed out," Brock said. "Jeremy and Aelita can hear you; they think you all are trying to prank them." "Us! No, they are sitting on their asses as we found some data to help them," Ulrich said. "We also found proof that someone was here," Dawn said. "Well, maybe after we eat some, Gateatu can talk about it," Brock said. He takes it out, and all of the teens smell it. "Yummy," Ash said. "Stop drooling," Yumi said. "I worked up an appetite," Ash said. "Me too," Odd said. Brock takes out the second tray, and Gateau and the mini fridge turn into Froze Rotom, which freaks out his friends. They all point to it, and Brock turns around and doesn't notice at first. "I think we need a break," Brock said. After a while, he catches on. "Oh, shit!" Brock said as they were blasted out of the kitchen with Blizzard. Rotom turns into Heat Form and launches Overheat. This sends the group to the living room, and Jeremy shouts, "what the fuck/" "Look," Brock explains. "Come on, now brock is in on it," Aelita said. Plusle, Mimun, and Squirtle smell the Gateau. "It smells good," Jeremy said. Odd notices the laptop with the XANA 2.0 file on it. "Where was that?' Odd asks. "It went missing before we say the ghost mini fridge." "Please, it was here the whole time," Jeremy said. Aelita noticed that the laptop went from silver to green. "Jeremy?" Aelita nervously speaks. Jeremy looks at the laptop and sees a smile that shocks all of them out of the Hermitage. "Aah!" Jeremy and Aelita shout. "What is going on?" Allison asks. Her Siri Poke Dex speaks. "Allison, that is a Shiny Rotom." What?" Allison exclaims. She sees the Laptop Rotom and the Heat Rotom nearby. "Raichu, Thunderbolt! Glaceon, Blizzard!" The moves hit Laptop Rotom and Heat Rotom, causing Two Rotom to dissociate from the microwave, assuming standard form and prompting Allison to check his Pokédex.

The group breathes a sigh of relief when they realize that Rotom has been playing pranks on them. "Well, we weren't hurt," William said. "It was like a fun horror movie, "Aelita said. "I could make a movie like this," Odd said. The Rotom nod. "I think they would star in it," Ulrich said. "Well, at least we know the truth," Yumi said. The Rotom laugh as they fly over the group. "I remember we went to the Old Chateau; a Rotom pranked us," Ash said. "And you couldn't remember this before?" Allison asks. "Look, that was a long time ago," Dawn said. The Rotom uses Discharge to shock the teens and their Pokemon, giving the humans Afro hairstyles before phasing into a light pole and disappearing. "Rotom!" Ash shouts as the group hears laughing. Dawn looks into her makeup mirror and screams. "My hair! I cannot go back to campus like this." "At least you look better than the first time," Ash teases. "Fuck you, Ash. You look even worse!" "What did you say?" "Yiu can wear a hat and look fine! On the other hand, I need at least two hours to look presentable in public" "You wear a hat too!" "Not anymore, Mr. Hat head!" "Ash, you know Dawn takes great pride in her hair," Brock states. "Dawn, you know that Ash is trying to lighten the mood." "She started it!" Ash yells. "How? Please tell me how?" Dawn questions. William plays "Rock with You" by Micheal Jackson and performs disco moves, which Dawn notes. "What the fuck are you doing, William?" Dawn asks. "What? 70s music fits the theme of our hairstyles," William says as he does the up and down fist pumps. The rest of the group laughs. "Now, let's eat," Ulrich said while laughing. The Lyoko Warriors enjoy the sunset and munch on the Old Gateau in the park. "This is the best! Aelita said. "I'm in love!" William and Odd said with stars in their eyes. "The scare was worth it," Yumi said. "I'm pleased," Ulrich said. "I'm going to send some back home," Allison said. "Me too," Jeremy said. "Well, I think I did not do the job," Brock said."You did," Ash said. "The Pokemon love it too," Dawn said.
The next day, William eats some more Old Gateau when he looks at a bench in the courtyard. "In loving memory of Tiny and Brian. Who is that?" Allison walks to the gate on her way to Starlight Coins with Ash and Dawn. "What do you want, and are you okay?" Allison asks. "I am wondering about Tiny and Brian." "They died in their sleep." "Weird. I know that XANA attacks can lead to that." Allison stays quiet. "It is? What happened?" "William, it was a few months ago." "I heard a school dance was postponed because of their death." William holds his head. "Is it a XANA attack?" Allison asks. William sees himself with the man that planted the bombs at the factory. He is laughing. "I did something!" William said. "I did it!" "William, relax," Allison said. "You're not telling me that it is not true!" Allison hugs William, but he pushes her sway and runs. "I think we fucked up!" Allison said.
