The next day, classes are canceled. The Lyoko Warriors head for the factory and notice the grey sky. Jeremy enters the elevator code, but the buttons feel hot. Once they enter the lab, the room looks dark. Moments later, laughter. There was a boom, shock, crack! Aelita, Jeremy, Ulrich, Odd, and Yumi are on one side, while Brock, Dawn, Allison, Ash, and William are on the other. A thick, black plasma figure is present in the lab. "Thank you for releasing me, Lyoko Warriors," XANA said. The Lyoko Warriors look on in fear as XANA's tentacles wave all over the lab, and William gets major headaches as XANA laughs. "When you sent me packing, it gave me the strength to come out. It was either that loser or your MAS 2.0. So MAS 2.0 it is. XANA grabs each Lyoko Warrior by the throat and squeezes them. "I have plans for your shitty world. I will be back. I have to meet my new host, Lowell Tyron, soon!" Professor Tyron is possessed, shocks his bodyguards, and places the Hipmonchans in boxes. "I will be back. Also, Aelita, and William, I am over you. I don't want you motherfuckers!" The Lyoko Warriors can't scream because of the strangulation. XANA spits at each Warrior and slams them against the wall as blood drips from their heads and leaves.
"Allison! Allison! Quick, she is coming too!" Ash J shouts to Rocky. Rocky brings some smelling salts to wake Allison up. "Ugh! What happened?" Allison asks. "You tell me," Ash J said. "Where am I?" "This old house called the Hermitage," Rocky said. "Huh?" Allison looks down and sees Espeon and Raichu snuggling up to her. "I think all of your friends' Pokemon brought you guys to the park. I got a FaceTime from Espeon," Ash J said. Allison looks around and sees her friends lying on the floor. "My head!" Allison moans. Ash J hugs his sister as he places an ice pack on her head. Well, what happened?" Espeon and Piplup got out of their Poke Balls and saw the horror scene in the lab. Piplup tried to wake Dawn up, and Espeon used her Psychic move to release Hitmontop, Gardevior, Plusle, Minun, Flygon, and Orbeetle. Then, she used her powers to release Pikachu, Togikiss, and Blissey from the Poke Transfer Watch-a device that allows you to call a Pokemon on standby. (A Mini portable transfer machine) Plusle panics and cries, but Minun says not to worry. "Minun, Minun, Minun." Minun activates the elevator, and the Pokemon take their trainers to the factory floor. Espeon and Gardevior use Teleport, and the group ends up in the woods when Espeon uses Allison's phone to call for help. "I think the swelling has gone down," Rocky said. "Good. Her friends should be waking up soon. We saw Blissey use Heal Pulse, so I think your cut to the head is healed. However, what happened?" Ash J asks his sister. Allison flashes back to seeing XANA and the tentacles squeezing all of her friends' necks. Allison holds her neck. "It looks like something strangled you," Rocky said. Allison begins to cry as her friends wake up. Dawn sees Piplup crying. "Piplup?" Dawn says in a weak voice. "Where are we?" Ulrich asks. Jeremy looks around. "Xa-" Jeremy said. "My stomach hurts," Odd said. "Hungry?" Moxie asks as she arrives with soup and water. "No," Odd said. Flygon licks him as Houndoom rubs his head. Yumi holds her head as she looks at William, who chooses to lie down. William hears XANA's words over and over again. "XANA wanted me back, but now it wants to kill me, my friends, the world. I am more afraid than before." Brock looks at Aelita and sighs. "What can be going on in Aelita's head?" Brock asks. "My father's worst nightmare. XANA is alive and in the flesh. How could we be such fucking idiots? XANA wanted us to break its ties with Tyron. If we didn't, XANA might have taken over, or Tyron would have. It was a losing battle from the start." A while later, after the group finishes eating, Ash J asks again. "What happened?" The group doesn't answer. "I think it may be too traumatizing," Moxie said. "Fine. Well, yesterday I spoke to mom, and she said that Lowell Tyron has no right to try and take Aelita from school and that he is dangerous." "How does she know?" Jeremy asks. "I don't know. She said to stay clear of him, and she called Mr. Delmas as well." Aelita gets up. "I am going to my room," Aelita said. "Do you want company?" Jeremy asks. "No!" Aelita said as she picked up Plusle and left. Later that night, she sits in her bed and thinks. Jeremy knocks on the door. "Can I come in?" "Yeah." Jeremy sits on the bed. "I know today was rough, but we will get through it." Aelita nods as she sheds a few tears. "I'm scared," Aelita said as she cried. XANA appears in the park and speaks to Professor Tyron. Professor Tyron waves his hands, and the sky goes black, covering the moon.
The following day, the students noticed the dark clouds and the birds flying slowly due to the humidity. "What does XANA have in store?" William asks as his classmates warm up for Gym class. Aelita walks to History class and looks up to the sky. "It has something planned for us; the question is when," she said. XANA meets with Professor Tyron. "Time for Phase Two," XANA said. Professor Tyron laughs and waves his arms around. Thunder and lightning take over the sky, and the wind picks up. The Pokemon hide in their homes as the ground starts to shake. Some of Professor Tyron's weapons and ninjas are transported to Paris and activated. The ninjas use their weapons (lasers) and carve the eye of XANA on the ground. Some of the ninjas use their Bō staffs and knock people to the ground and lock them in prisons. News of the situation spreads. Gary calls his sister. "Did you see the news?" "What news?" Allison asks. "Some people in black and green suits are terrorizing people in Paris. My school is about to go on lockdown." Allison is shocked and notices students looking at their phones. "Did you call mom and dad?" Allison asks. "I did. Dad told Sam and me about Lowell Tyron and how he went after Aelita. There was footage of him walking around with purple statice. Jeremy grabs the phone from Gary. "Did you say purple static?" "I did. Did he do that before?" "No." "I don't know what is going on, but I need my little brother and sister to stay safe." "We will, Gary,' Allison said. Gary hangs up, and Odd looks at the news. "There are threats all over the area. The people in black and green suits are across cities around Paris." Ulrich walks around. "There has to be more," Ulrich said. "XANA possessed Tyron, and he fucking hates us, so that adds fuel to the fire," Ash said. "All students to the gym. All students to the gym," Mr. Delmas said. "I think we might go into a hard lockdown," Brock said. "We should get to the factory," William said. "And do what? We don't know what is going on, and we need to access the damages," Dawn said. "I agree. XANA and Tyron may have more in store," Brock said. In the gym, Mr. Delmas speaks. "We are going to a fallout shelter. Right now, we are medium risk. Please gather your items and come back to the gym in twenty-five minutes. We will go to the local church for safety." The students scramble to gather their items. "My parents think it is best if Hiroki and I stay here. The neighbors moved to another fallout shelter," Yumi said. "What are we going to do?" William asks. "The MAS 2.0 will work when XANA has a low point, which it doesn't," Brock said once the students arrive at the fallout shelter; Aelita norices something. "My cell phone doesn't work." "Neither does mine," Odd said. "XANA has disrupted the cell service," Jeremy said. "Here," Ash said as he gave his friends watches. "Poke Tranfer Watches?" William says in a puzzling tone. "They work despite XANA's interference." "Coo, you can summon your Pokemon from," Ulrich said. Jeremy brings the group for a huddle. "XANA thinks it may have won, but we will beat it," Jeremy said. "We have always beat it," Odd said. "Also, when the going got tough, we pushed back," Aelita said. "Yeah!" The group shouts as the ground crumbles. XANA shakes the group near Kadic Academy. "Where are my students?" XANA asks; XANA's ground crumbling shakes the world.
XANA brought some krabs and blocks to Earth. They shoot at people and scan the area. "Fucking bitches!" Professor Tyron shouts. He shoots in the air, and the lightning strikes the ground as some trees are set on fire. Officer Jenny arrives with the firefighters. Professor Tyron strikes Officer Jenny, but Arcanine uses Flamethrower. Professor Tyron uses super speed and attacks Arcanine, but it bites him. Professor Tyron leaves. XANA has brought some robots from one of the defunct replika labs, and the robots are riding on the krabs. XANA walks around and can't find the Lyoko Warriors. "Where are they?" XANA grabs two Flaffys and cuts their heads off, and leaves the heads on sticks. "I want to play with my Warriors!" Jim pulls all of the shades down. "Go to sleep!" He commands. Aelita lies awake and rubs her head. "XANA is looking for us." "How do you know?" Jeremy asks. "I know. It was to take over the world but wants us to suffer. It was why my father is dead and not XANA wants to finish off its creator's daughter and friends as well." Jeremy hugs Aelita. "No need to worry. We will beat this." Aelita snuggles next to Jeremy. William draws a picture of the eye of XANA over the world and crumbles the paper. Brock taps him, and William grabs his arm. "Whoa," Brock said. "I'm sorry," William said. "XANA is looking for us." "I'm surprised it didn't find us." "What do you mean?" "Before, XANA seemed like Big Brother's watching you and would attack at the wrong moments. We are in a church with the whole school; we are prime bait." William thinks about it. "XANA can't find us. I guess it doesn't have all of its strength back." "You're right. I think we found a weak point," Brock said. William message the group with his Poke Transfer Watch and goes to sleep.
