Disclaimer: I obviously don't own the Flash or I'd be starring in it as Barry's girlfriend/fiancée/wife, etc. I don't own The Vampire Diaries either :(... Yeah I know life sucks :(! Don't own the Arrow :(. Actually I don't own any TV series or I'd probably be directing/creating now instead of writing fanfiction.

Summary: Barry is in love with Iris. Then a new girl shows up, with secrets. Now he's confused. (I know there are loads of stories with this plot but please give it a chance :)! )

A/N: I'm up to date with The Flash but there may be some mistakes and it doesn't follow the series plot line according to the Superhero things...

Pairings: Barry/OC Barry/Iris Iris/Eddie and more. Give suggestions or prompts.

Rating: T for very suggestive language use and possible making out. (for now, rating may change)

I'd like to just point out once again that Grant Gustin (sadly don't own :(! ) is freaking hot and his voice is addictive! I seriously can't get over his performances of Uptown Girl, Glad You Came and Smooth Criminal on Glee - All of which I don't own :( !

Chapter 13: The Aftermath of the Revelation

3rd Person POV

Barry recovers from the shock and looks around the warehouse, searching for any clues as to where Ashmi or Jeremy had gone, but he found none. Jeremy had sunk back into the shadows and the space where Ashmi and Stefan were a few seconds ago, was now just empty.

Barry blinks back tears as he remembers the heart broken and betrayed look on Ashmi's face. He flashes straight to STAR Labs, hoping that she might have headed there.

"Is Ashmi here?"

"No," Caitlin says confused, "Why would Ashmi be here?"

"I did something bad," Barry says, his body shaking.

Caitlin looks at him with a worried expression before moving across the room to make sure he was healthy. At the same time, Cisco pulls the lollipop out of his mouth and asks Barry, "What do you mean? Why would your CSI Partner that you totally dig be here of all places?"

"I killed her brother or at least I helped the guy who did. But he's not really dead or he is but he can be saved somehow with some dagger, I don't really know, it's a long story and I can't really explain it. I just... I need to find her! She's alone and I don't where she is or how she is or how to fix it or…"

Caitlin pulls him into a hug. "Sshh it's okay Barry. We'll figure this out. Maybe Mystic Raven can help."

Barry's body tenses when her alter ego's name leaves Caitlin's mouth. He moves away, runs a hand through his hair before looking them both dead in the eyes. "Trust me if Mystic Raven could help then she already is."

Barry explains what happened at the warehouse. Caitlin is shocked but recovers quickly whereas Cisco just stares at Barry with his mouth hanging wide open.

Barry calls and Ashmi doesn't pick up. He leaves voicemails, he visits her apartment but she's nowhere to be found. He tries searching the city. Cisco tries pin pointing her phone's location, they even call in Felicity for help with hacking. Team Arrow shows up and upon hearing Ashmi who is Mystic Raven is missing, Roy storms out to find her and Thea follows closely behind him to keep an eye on him.

Four days after Barry found out Ashmi is Mystic Raven, two days after Team Arrow arrived in Central City, Ashmi returns to STAR Labs. They all stare at her in shock. "Roy found me, when you guys came to Central City," She starts, "And before anyone blames him, I made him swear not to say anything. He convinced me to come back. He said you could help, that you would help. So would you?" She looks around at all of their faces.

"Of course, you are family to us," Cisco says, offering her a small smile. "Amen to that," Caitlin and Felicity chorus while the others, with the exception of Barry, all nod in agreement.

Barry walks over to her and pulls her into a hug. He holds her tight and whispers in her ear, "I will help you save your brother or I will die trying." When they pull away from each other. Ashmi stiffens at the words "Die trying", but quickly recovers and announces that she has a plan. "I can save him. All I need is the Phoenix sword."

"Wait I don't get it, you're super powerful and stuff, why would you need our help to beat this guy?" Thea asks with a confused tone. "Because this is no ordinary guy. He's stronger and faster than a human and he heals quickly, but that's not the reason I need help. He knows me. He knows me so well that he would be able to see my next move in a fight and he would be prepared to counter it. He doesn't know any of you. If you work together, you can beat him. But I'm hoping it won't come to that. My plan is that we split into two teams, one of stealth and one of strength. The first team will sneak in and steal the sword and the second team will distract him. Dig, Ollie and Barry you'll be Team Strength. Roy, Thea and I will be Team Stealth."

"Don't you think it would be better to have the Flash on Team Stealth?" Oliver raises an eyebrow. "He does have a point," Felicity agrees, "I mean he is the Flash. Unless there's another reason you guys don't want to be on the same team. Which I mean if there is, it's fine. But like if you guys need to talk about it, we're all here…" She babbles on until she notices Roy's glare and the looks on Ashmi and Barry's faces. "Shutting up now. So I'm going to try finding Jeremy while you guys get ready."

Ashmi goes into one of the rooms. Barry follows after her, Roy tries to stop him but Barry is stubborn and eventually gets past him.

"Hey," He says unsure how to start. How do you tell someone that you're sorry for pretty much killing their brother?

"Hey," She replies, looking up at him. She blinks slowly and he notices the redness of her eyes and the dark circles around them. The puffiness of her nose and lips. It's clear that she's been crying and in that moment Barry feels like breaking down, but he has to be strong for her. She's a complete and total mess but he thinks she looks beautiful and natural and to him she's perfect.

"I'm sorry. I don't know what else to say. I know you can't forgive me right now; I hope you will someday. I don't know how I'm supposed to fix this, how I'm supposed to make things right, how I'm supposed to help you."

She walks over and places her hand on his. "I don't blame you for this. I know you're sorry and you didn't mean to hurt Stefan, but you should have trusted me Barry."

"Trusted you? I trusted you all the time. You're the one that's never trusted me! You never told me who you were!"

"I did that to protect you! I'm not like you Barry. I didn't get superpowers and decide to be a hero. I'm not proud of everything I've done, but it's made me who I am. The places I'm from the people I know… they're dangerous, even for a speedster. I didn't want you to be a part of that world. You're good and you're pure… I didn't want my darkness to ruin you."

"You could never do that...You're good. You're amazing. You're a freaking superhero! I have a darkness inside of me too. But we get to choose who controls who… I chose to control the darkness, what do you chose?"

"I want to control it too but sometimes I don't know if I'm strong enough…"

"I'll help you control it… Always." He squeezes her hand before pulling her into a hug and kissing her forehead.
