Disclaimer: I obviously don't own the Flash or I'd be starring in it as Barry's girlfriend/fiancée/wife, etc. I don't own The Vampire Diaries either :(... Yeah I know life sucks :(! Don't own the Arrow :(. Actually I don't own any TV series or I'd probably be directing/creating now instead of writing fanfiction.

Summary: Barry is in love with Iris. Then a new girl shows up, with secrets. Now he's confused. (I know there are loads of stories with this plot but please give it a chance :)! )

A/N: I'm up to date with The Flash but there may be some mistakes and it doesn't follow the series plot line according to the Superhero things...

Pairings: Barry/OC Barry/Iris Iris/Eddie and more. Give suggestions or prompts.

Rating: T for very suggestive language use and possible making out. (for now, rating may change)

I'd like to just point out once again that Grant Gustin (sadly don't own :(! ) is freaking hot and his voice is addictive! I seriously can't get over his performances of Uptown Girl, Glad You Came and Smooth Criminal on Glee - All of which I don't own :( !

Chapter 14: Saving Stefan

3rd Person POV

Roy knocks on the door and calls Barry and Ashmi. "We found him." Ashmi and Barry rush out. Everyone changes and the two teams head to the location. Ashmi, Roy and Thea go through the back door while Barry, Oliver and Diggle stand outside the front door.

"Jeremy get out here! Come and face me! You made me hurt her! Is that what you wanted? For her heart to break?!" Barry screams.

Ashmi stops and listens to Barry's speech. She motions for Thea and Roy to go on and hands them a picture of the sword. They nod and go on.

Jeremy comes out of the house and looks at Barry. "Do you know what it was like to have her look at me like I was a monster? For me to see her face and know that she was crying her heart out?"

Jeremy's eyes soften and he shifts on his feet guiltily. "You shouldn't have come."

"I shouldn't have come? No, you shouldn't have come!"

"Ashmi knows what she has to do if she wants her brother back!"

"What do you want from her?"

"She hasn't told you?" Jeremy chuckles, "Figures."

"What are you talking about?"

"I told her to choose. And she chose you. She made her choice but she can fix it."

Barry's breath hitches, Oliver signals him that the sword has been found.

"She must really love you, but it doesn't matter now… She always chooses her family. She always chooses her brothers. You can't break that bond. It's only a matter of time before she realizes that you're just another guy that she's fallen for and she chooses to save her brother instead." Jeremy fixes him with a hard look before turning around and walking inside.

Barry and the team all head to STAR labs by Flash and Mystic Raven express.

"We got the sword!" Thea says holding it out triumphantly. Everyone cheers and then turns to look at Ashmi. "So what do we do now?" Felicity asks. "Now I put my brother's soul back into his body."

She teleports his body onto the bed in the next room. "There's a red bag on my bed, can you fetch it?" Barry nods and arrives with the bag a second later. "Thanks," Ashmi mutters distractedly before taking out the stuff she needs and placing it where it needs to go. "I need more space," She says, hinting at them to leave the room. They all move to stand behind the glass pane.

Ashmi holds onto the phoenix sword, closes her eyes and begins chanting. A few minutes later, Jeremy storms into STAR Labs and heads towards Ashmi. Barry zooms in front of him and lands a punch square on his jaw. Jeremy recoils and spits out the blood in his mouth. He aims for Barry's jaw but Barry ducks and lands a blow that throws him across the room. Barry moves towards him and is about to knock him out when Jeremy says, "Wait." He groans in pain. "You can't let her do this."

"I know it messes with your little plans but she's going to save him! You've caused her enough pain!"

"You don't understand this! You don't understand any of it! It's going to kill her!"

"What?" Barry freezes.

"If you don't believe me then look for yourself!" He shouts impatiently and nods in the direction of the room Ashmi and Stefan are in. They all turn to the window pane and see Ashmi with blood pouring out from the corners of her eyes, from her nose and from the sides of her mouth. Barry tries to rush into the room but Ashmi sees him coming. "No! Get out!" She telekinetically throws him out and locks the door.

They all watch helplessly as she continues chanting. The lights flicker and then switch off, but the candles still illuminate the room. Barry is banging on the glass and screaming her name. Oliver and Roy are shooting mini explosive arrows at the door and at the window pane but nothing works.

Suddenly they hear Ashmi fall to the floor and the lights all switch back on. Barry rushes into the room and sees her body lying on the floor covered in blood. He falls to his knees and sobs. He doesn't even notice Stefan wake up and see his sister on the floor covered in her own blood. The veins on Stefan's face protrude at the sight of fresh blood, but upon seeing his sister's pale and unmoving face he regains control. "What happened?" Stefan growls.

Barry is too grief stricken to say anything, he continues sobbing. Caitlin and Felicity are crying with Roy while Thea and John are trying to comfort them. Oliver is trying to make an effort to stay strong for everyone and Cisco is in shock. Wells looks at Stefan and says, "She brought you back." He bites his wrist and shoves the blood into her mouth but nothing happens.

"She shouldn't have done that. I'm not worth her dying! Nothing is worth her dying!" He pauses for a moment before remembering what happened to land him here. "WHERE THE HELL IS THAT SON OF A BITCH?"

"I'm right here." Jeremy replies sadly. Stefan zooms out of the room and presses Jeremy up against the wall, holding him by his neck. Barry zooms Ashmi's body into the room and places her on the bed. Stefan has his fangs out and grins at Jeremy maliciously, "I'm going to enjoy ripping your head off. Actually maybe I'll start with other more precious body parts so you can really feel the pain."

Barry is unsure what to do. Should he intervene? But who does he help? The guy that rips people's heads off or the hunter who is the reason that Ashmi is dead? He knows what Ashmi would have wanted. He gets to Stefan and says, "Don't do it. She wouldn't want you do it. You know that she wouldn't want to kill anyone, not even him." Stefan loosens his grip on Jeremy's neck just as Damon walks through the door. Damon runs over to Stefan and Jeremy before slapping vervain cuffs onto Stefan's wrists. "What the hell are you doing all the way out here?" "Ashmi called me. Where is she anyway?"

Before Stefan can answer, Damon sees Ashmi's body. "No, no, no." He mutters over and over. He bites his wrist and shoves it into her mouth "Come on wake up little sister." "Stefan already tried that. It didn't work," Barry says looking lost. "It's all my fault," Barry chokes out, breaking down. "You did this?" Damon asks shocked. He grabs Barry by the throat and pins him against the wall, just as Stefan did to Jeremy a few minutes ago.

Before Barry can reply, Jeremy says, "I did it. It's my fault she's dead." Damon drops Barry and picks up Jeremy instead. Jeremy doesn't struggle. "Go ahead. Do it." Damon doesn't move. "What are you waiting for? Kill me!" Jeremy roars in anguish.

Damon looks at him with a look of pure distain. He looks him right in the eye. "No," He replies with a simple tone. "What?" Stefan screams in anger. Damon turns to Stefan and then turns back to Jeremy. "We would have found a way to save your sister that wouldn't have cost me mine. You ruined everything. I'm not going to kill you. You don't deserve the mercy of death! In fact, I'm going to make sure you live a long, miserable life. You are going to live with the fact that you did this, that you killed her, that you are the reason that she's dead. I am going to make you remember that in every single moment of every single day of your entire pathetic life."
