Chapter One: Tom And Jerry

"Robyn we need to find some shelter. It's getting cold." Alexis says as she is walking in wolf form with Robyn.

"I know. Under here. I think someone is following us." Robyn says as Alexis nods before the two go under a bridge.

"Stay behind me." Alexis says as she then sees two figures coming under the bridge before jumping in front of them growling and snapping.

"Angry female dog with teeth!" A cat shouts as Robyn prepares to swing a bat.

"I am not a dog." Alexis says angrily.

"Hold it! We don't mean any harm." A mouse says as Alexis stops growling but doesn't move.

"Who who are you?" Robyn asks.

"Nobody." The cat says.

"Just us. He's Tom and I'm Jerry." The mouse says.

"Oh. I thought you were somebody else. We thought you were following us." Robyn says.

"Heck No." Tom says.

"What are you doing out here?" Robyn asks.

"We're lost and we're looking for something to eat." Tom says.

"Yeah. We're kinda hungry." Jerry says.

"A cat and a mouse together? Now I've seen everything." Alexis says unimpressed.

"Hey! You weren't exactly a barrel of fun either dog." Tom says.

"For the last time I am not a dog. I am wolf. I'll thank you to get it right cat." Alexis says as she glares at Tom.

"Alexis be nice." Robyn says as Alexis looks at her.

"I am being nice. I've stopped growling haven't I?" Alexis asks as she shifts to mouse form.

"Whoa. You can turn into a mouse?" Jerry asks curiously before Alexis looks at him and walks away from him.

"Not exactly friendly are you?" Tom asks.

"Don't mind her. That's Alexis. She's always been able to do that. She's just being protective. Anyway I've got cookies and an apple and..." Robyn says.

*Timeskip*

"So your name's Robyn and you ran away from home with Alexis." Jerry says.

"How did you know?" Robyn asks.

"Your name is on your locket." Jerry says as he gesture's to Robyn's locket.

"Oh! Yes. It's Robyn Starling. I'm afraid I don't have a home anymore. I…I'm an orphan. My mother died when I was a baby." Robyn says.

"What about your father? What happened to him?" Jerry asks.

"My father was on an expedition climbing in the mountains when the snow gave way in a, av... ava..." Robyn says.

"Avalanche?" Tom asks as Robyn nods.

"Uh huh and he was the most wonderful father in the world. He had his own special place just for the two of us and..." Robyn says.

"And that's where you were going?" Jerry asks.

"Uh huh and to get away from my Aunt Figg. She's not really my aunt just my guardian. She's taken over the house, she moved my room to the attic and gave my room to her dog Ferdinand." Robyn says.

"Ferdinand?" Tom asks.

"A mean dog who would hate to meet me down a dark alley with how he behaves toward Robyn." Alexis says.

"Aunt Figg was always calling me orphan. She even stole my locket and threw it out the window but I climbed down and found it and... and..." Robyn says.

"Kept on running." Jerry says.

"As fast as I could and I'm never going back. Besides I have Alexis with me." Robyn says as she hugs Alexis.

"Oh smart real smart kid. You got a roof over your head three meals a day and a warm bed. Who wanna leave that?" Tom asks confusedly.

"I hate to admit it Robyn, Alexis but Tom's right. You never know what you're missing til you don't have it." Jerry says.

"You don't know Aunt Figg. She seems sweet but underneath she's mean. Real mean!" Robyn says.

"Robyn's right. I don't like her going back there. I can't protect her there." Alexis says.

"Ah c'mon. I'll bet she's frantic looking for you." Jerry says.

"Oh sure! She's cryin' her eyes out for you right this minute." Tom says.

"What's that?" Jerry asks as the group hears a noise.

"I'll go check it out. Robyn!" Alexis shouts as she leaves before she hears Robyn scream.
