A/N: Crap, I remembered I hadn't finished posting this story so here's an update! Comment your thoughts/feelings. Vent to me, rage at me. (:
Hope y'all enjoyed the ride or Tori telling her parents. how bout a date?
Waking up to yelling startled both Aoife and I from our cuddling on Tori's bed, I looked behind me at Tori's side of the bed and jumped out of bed when I saw she wasn't there.
"This has nothing to do with you, Trina," I heard Tori yell as I pulled her bedroom door open, and ran down the stairs with Aoife right behind me.
"You always have to do this, Tori… You always have to try and take my moment! My big showcase, it was probably you who put the strawberry in my milkshake, wasn't it?"
"Trina, that's enough," Holly said, stepping between the sisters and pushing them carefully to arms length.
"She's pregnant, she's going to be the talk of the school when they should be talking about my new one woman show!" Trina screeched.
"You're more concerned over that and not the fact your sister was raped by the people that kidnapped her seven months ago?" I shot at her, moving to stand beside Tori, letting her know I'd always be by her side.
Aoife stood protectively in front of both of us, her hackles raised as she started to growl at Trina.
I rested a calming hand between her shoulder blades and she sat, right on my foot. But I didn't mind, cause she calmed instantly at my touch.
Trina seemed to be too shocked to say anything as her face ran through a variety of emotions before she frowned and stomped off upstairs.
"Gee, Jade. I might need you here all the time to keep these two apart," Holly said with a light joking lilt to her tone. I chuckled a little and smiled, turning to look at Tori.
"You good?"
Tori nodded, leaning against me, our foreheads touching as I ran my hands down her arms before softly gripping her hands, giving them a gentle squeeze. "Love you."
"Love you too, Jade. You… wanna get out of here? Catch a movie?"
I smiled, pressing a quick kiss to her lips. "Sounds good, why don't we go to a drive-in? So we can relax and keep Aoife with us."
Smiling brightly, she nodded, racing up the stairs to get ready.
Tori snuggled into my side as the pre-movie advertisements started and I rested my arm across her shoulders.
Aoife was laying across the back seats, sleeping lightly. I glanced over my shoulder at her and smiled before I turned my head back towards the screen, pressing a soft kiss to Tori's temple.
"What's this movie about again?" Tori asked, shifting a little, resting her head on my shoulder.
"Uh, I don't know. I didn't read the description very well. I rushed over it. I just saw that it was this, or a horror movie, and I don't want you having a nightmare due to a movie."
She turned her head, pressing a kiss to my cheek. "My hero," she said with a playful sigh and rested her hand on my knee. "I love you, Jade."
"I love you too, Vega."
"Can I ask you something?"
"Of course. What's wrong?"
"No nothing… I just wanted to tell you that… I loved when you called me your wife the other week when we were at the hospital."
"Yeah?" I asked gently, turning my head slightly to look into her eyes.
Tori nodded, a soft smile on her lips.
I pressed a finger under her chin, lifting her head a little, touching my lips against hers. "I liked when you called me your wife also after that."
"Do you think… we're too young?" She asked, a hesitant look on her face.
I shook my head, shrugging. "I don't think so, why?"
"I don't know… I just… I know some teen relationships last… and some don't."
"Is this your way of asking me to marry you, Vega?"
Tori sat back quickly, her eyes widening as she quickly shook her head. "Wha-I-No… I-"
I laughed, pulling her back against me. "Relax, I'm only joking, Tori. I know you weren't."
Tori quickly slapped a hand down upon my thigh with a sharp snap of her flesh against mine.
"Now, if you ever hit me and I find out about it," I teased.
Another slap to the already reddening handprint on my thigh.
I smirked, grabbing her hand, pulling it up to my lips. I pressed a soft kiss to her knuckle and looked into her eyes.
"I love you, Tori. I'm sorry for scaring you like that."
"So you should be," she said, pouting.
I was about to say something more, but the PA system announced the movie was starting and for us to turn our speakers to the correct wavelength they were playing the movie on.
The starting scene opened up on a dinosaur, causing Tori and I to snuggle closer to each other and enjoy the animated film about a good dinosaur.
"That-" Tori yawned, bringing a hand up to cover her mouth. "That was a good movie," she finished, resting her hand on my thigh as I pulled out of our parking spot.
Aoife whined and yawned loudly, causing me to shake my head with a smile.
"Is it cool if I drop her home before we go eat dinner and I take you home?" I asked, glancing at Tori before looking back at the road ahead of us.
"Of course, I'm sure she's sick of being cooped up in the car with us making out all the time, and she's getting too big to be in the backseat all the time."
Nodding in agreeance, I took the exit off the highway that led to my place.
Tori's phone started ringing and she pulled her hand off my thigh to dig through her bag and find the noisy device.
She found it with a noise of triumph leaving her lips and answered the call.
"Hello?"
I rested my hand on her knee as she shifted closer to me once more and listened to whoever was speaking.
"Yeah, Jade and I are just gonna drop Aoife off and grab some dinner before I come home. Is that okay?"
Tori looked at me, and I could feel her frown, so I looked at her quickly before directing my attention back to the road as she rested her hand on top of mine.
"Yeah, I'll ask. One minute." She gave my hand a brief squeeze. "Babe, dad wants to know if you want to join us for family game night."
"Sure, does he need me to bring anything?"
"Nah, we'll just grab dinner to take there instead of eating somewhere together. Is that okay?"
I nodded and turned down my street. "Sure, let him know we'll be there in half an hour at most."
Tori stroked her thumb over my knuckle and kissed my shoulder as she put the phone back to her ear.
"Yeah, we'll grab the food and come home. Thirty minutes give or take the wait time for food. What do you want?"
I parked my car in front of the front door of my house and slid out, opening the back door to let Aoife out. She ran around the front yard briefly and I looked back at Tori, leaving my dog to use the bathroom in private.
"Alright dad, you order and text me everything and I'll let Jade know. We're just at her place… Yeah, I'll ask and let you know. Okay bye- Yes dad, the movie was good. We can talk about it when we get there. Okay, see you soon."
She put her phone up on the dash, shaking her head with a smile.
Aoife came running, barging past me, jumping up onto the driver's seat. She started licking Tori's face and hands, causing Tori to laugh and grab my dogs face between her hands, lower it slightly and kiss Aoife between her eyes.
"Alright stinker," I said, lightly patting Aoife on the back. "Come on. Go play with Riley and Rose."
I backed up, opened the front door to my house, letting her run inside.
"Rose?" I called out.
The woman in question came out of the kitchen, smiling as Aoife ran to her for attention.
"Tori and I are just going to go to dinner with her parents, she's just gone to the toilet so she should be set. Would you mind giving her food?"
"Not a problem, is there a time we'll expect you home?"
"Not at the moment. I'll let you know if I'm staying over or text you when I'm leaving. Thank you."
"No problem, Jade. Your mother called and said she'd be home tomorrow instead of Monday."
I nodded and crouched down, scratching Aoife behind the ears as she came over to me. "Be good."
She licked my face.
I smiled and closed the door as Aoife ran back over to Rose and made my way back to the car, sliding into my seat.
Tori tapped my hand, causing me to look at her with a raised eyebrow. "Yes?"
"I love you, are you sure you want to spend more time with my crazy family?"
I nodded, kissing her gently. "I love you too. They'll be my family someday anyways," I said, causing her eyes to shine with tears starting to form.
She hugged me tight, so I wrapped my arms around her and held her, as tight as I could. We pulled apart after a moment and kissed before slipping our seat belts back on.
Starting the car, I rolled it down the driveway and pressed the button on my visor, making the gate close behind me as I pulled out onto the road.
"Where are we going to get the food?" I asked, and Tori grabbed her phone.
"Dad wants KFC, so I got in on that. Mum wanted Nozu, and I didn't know what you wanted so I got you something from both places and whatever you don't want, I'll eat. Dad shouldn't be too far behind us either, he had to run into work to drop some files off."
I snorted a laugh and shook my head. "Nice try. You're not having raw fish. It's not all good for you and we don't know how long they leave it sitting out before preparing it."
"What?"
I froze. Shit.
"What do you mean, Jade?"
"I may or may not have read up on some things you can and can't do while pregnant."
"You did?"
I nodded and shrugged. "Just in case you didn't want to abort it… Not that I knew you would do that or anything… or if it miscarried. I just… Wanted to be prepared for anything."
"You read up about pregnancy?"
"It's not a big deal, you were sleeping and I was bored. I was rubbing your stomach, and felt it kick and… I kinda just felt something in me."
"Jade?"
"Yeah?" I looked at her, seeing tears in her eyes and a smile on her face made my heart thud happily.
Her face changed quickly, to one of horror. "Jade!" She yelled.
I turned my head, the headlights coming right for us on the truck were abnormally brighter than a usual truck's headlights.
My ears rang as I pulled Tori closer to me in hopes of protecting her as best as I could with our belts on still.
