Holy shit, so, apparently I missed posting TWO chapters when I posted them on AO3 and Wattpad, my pad, I am so sorry, so as a treat today, 33, 34, AND 35 will be getting posted here when I post 35 in other places cause I'm an idiot. I'm sorry. Without any more waiting, here is another chapter!

I did my best to edit, but my eyes hurt from staring at it, sorry.

The Great Escape... Or, they're just getting out of hospital. :p

Today, I was finally able to go home. It had been a week since I woke up, and I've been desperate to go home since then.

Jade has been nothing but helpful to me and my needs despite the fact she wanted to go home too.

She didn't though, she'd get her mum or my parents to bring in whatever we needed, she'd shower here, eat with me, bring me whatever I needed.

The stack of books beside my bed was ridiculous. She'd remembered that I mentioned wanting to read a series of books and bought the whole set, the branch off series and even the movie and tv series that went along with it.

We hadn't made it to the movie or TV series yet, I was only the fourth book into the series and addicted.

"You okay?" Jade asked, coming out of the bathroom freshly showered and dressed.

I nodded, putting the book down after placing the page marker into it.

"Ready to go."

"Me too, I can't wait to go home and cuddle properly with you."

I smiled and stood from my spot on the edge of the bed, making my way over to Jade. "I love you, Jade. You're such a softie."

"I love you too, Vega," she said, wrapping her arms around me, pressing a kiss to my forehead, causing my heart to speed up. "But if you tell anyone I'm soft…" She lowered her voice a few octaves, a playful threatening tone to her words, setting a fire throughout my body.

Whenever she kissed me, no matter where it was my heart would always race. Or when she called me, or texted me… Anything Jade does sets my heart off really.

Someone cleared their throat, so Jade and I both turned to the door. "Hey, Alice," I said, smiling at Jade's mother.

"Hey, nice to see they're letting you go. Are you two ready?"

I nodded and picked my book up, tucking it into the backpack Jade was packing the rest of our books into.

"Ready," Jade said.

I double-checked that nothing had dropped on the floor, under the bed or in the bathroom as we made our way out.

"I'm so hungry. Can we get some pickles? Oh, and peanut butter? And Carrots?" I asked, looking at Jade hopefully.

Jade smiled, sliding her non-casted arm around my waist. "Sure, Vega. I'll get you whatever you want. But first, we'll get you home, okay? Aoife and Riley are dying to see you."

Home.

My heart was beaming, I could feel it. And so was I, so much that my cheeks hurt.

"You're the best wife ever."

"No, that's you," Jade said, giving my side a soft tug to pull me closer to her.

Curled up next to Jade, Aoife at our feet with Riley laying across our laps, I felt safe with her arm around me.

I had one of my hands resting in Riley's hair, slowly stroking my fingers through it. He didn't seem to mind, and even whined when I stopped briefly a while ago.

My other hand was closer to Jade, holding her free hand as our hands rested across Riley's stomach.

I looked up as my dad came over to us and smiled up at him, mouthing a thank you to him as he held out a bowl of popcorn.

"He's finally sleeping," Jade said softly, looking over at Riley's peaceful face.

"I should say so, he has barely slept," Alice said. "He missed you both too much, Aoife didn't leave his side."

"I'm sorry, it's all my fault," I said, tears forming in my eyes as Jade gave my hand a squeeze.

"Your fault? How exactly would it be your fault?"

"If I didn't get into a fight with Trina, we wouldn't have left the house to go to the movie, we would have been here the whole time."

"Tori, sweetheart. It's not your fault," my father said, stroking a hand through my hair as he stood behind the couch. "None of this is your fault."

"It's all Trina's fault," Jade murmured in my ear.

I raised an eyebrow as I looked at Jade, and she must have sensed the confused look on my face, cause she gave my hand a squeeze and looked at her mother.

"Can you take Riley, please."

Alice nodded and moved quickly, but my dad was quicker, taking Riley upstairs. "Lay him in my room," I said and he made a noise of confirmation.

"Let's talk," Jade said softly.

Swallowing nervously, I stood with Jade's help and followed her out the back door to the pool area where we'd eaten lunch several days ago. The day of the crash.

"What's wrong?" I asked, taking a seat on the step of the spa, watching the water ripple where the jets pumped it against my calves.

"Nothing, I just, you looked like you needed a little air." Jade sat beside me, crossing her legs to keep her boots out of the water.

I turned my head a little and looked her over. "Air? You sounded like you were ready to break up by saying 'let's talk' like that, Jade. You scared me."

"Tori, it won't be that easy to get rid of me. Okay?"

I nodded slowly and rested my head on her shoulder after she moved closer to me and wrapped her arms around my chest. "I love you, Vega. Nothing will change that."

"Nothing? Not even when I get old and grey?"

"Not even then," she said, and I felt her smile as she pressed a kiss to the top of my head.

"I love you too, Jade."

"I don't know how to ask you a question, so can you listen completely before saying anything?" Jade asked.

"Of course, babe." I stood, thanking the gods silently that I didn't fall completely into the pool. "Let's go sit on the chairs though, my butts getting numb."

Nodding, Jade stood and helped me step up off the top step of the pool and out of it.

Jade sat at the back of the sun lounge and opened her arms, inviting me to sit in between her legs, so I did. As I leaned back against her, she wrapped her arms around me, her hands splaying out against my stomach, stroking light patterns under my shirt against the bump.

"What's up?"

"I love you so much, but I was wondering if I could spend time with mum and Riley tonight?"

"Babe, you never have to ask to spend time with your family, a family is important."

"You're family too, Vega."

"Yes, but- listen, Jade. I know you're not trying to avoid seeing me. But you haven't seen your family in days really. You've been by my side in the hospital the whole time. Go, enjoy your bed, your snuggles with Riley and Aoife, and hang with your mother."

"You're not mad?"

"Jade, no. Never. Do you want to at least stay for dinner? Dad said he was making his meatloaf."

"I think… maybe no? I'm kind of just wanting to relax and watch pups with Riley. Is that okay?"

Smiling, I turned to face her and kissed Jade gently. "It's okay, babe. And, if you want, you can still call me when you go to bed."

Nodding, Jade held onto me tighter and I nuzzled against her neck.

"Just, snuggle a little longer? Please?"

"Of course, Vega. Anything you want."

"I want you to not feel like I'm holding you captive."

"I don't feel like that, Tori. I love spending time with you. I just-"

"Miss your family. I get it, don't worry babe."

"What did I do to deserve you, Tori? I'm so lucky."

"I'm the lucky one, Jade. Sticking through a pregnancy with a baby that's not yours. Helping me through my panic attacks."

"You will never be alone, Tori. If you need me tonight, just call and I'll answer. No matter what. You said you wanted me to call when I head to bed, but if you're going to bed and haven't heard from me, call me okay? I'll talk to you no matter what."

"Are you sure, Jade?"

"I'm sure, Vega. I'm yours, I'm here for you… besides, a night away won't hurt us, what if we get sent to different colleges? A little distance won't hurt us."

Smiling, I kissed her, grinning as her hands slid up my ribs slowly.

"You keep moving your hands up and imma want to ravage you right here, Jade."

"Horny much, Vega," she said with a chuckle.

"Something like that. I just miss touching you."

"I have an idea if you're up for a little drive?"

I looked at the time on my phone as I pulled it from my pocket and nodded. "It's almost one, we have time I guess if you're not in a hurry."

Jade and I drove for a while, listening to music before she headed down a road lined with trees.

"Should I have checked for a shovel in the back?" I asked, stroking her thigh.

"No, no shovel. But I did get something from your room while you were in the bathroom."

"My room? Like what?"

Jade only smirked as she glanced at me before looking at the road.

"A surprise. From your toy box."

"My toy box? Did you grab one of my toys? Which one?"

"You'll see."

Whimpering as I came down from my orgasm, laying against Jade's chest, I nuzzled her neck, sighing heavily.

"You good, Tori?" She asked, a huskiness for her voice like she always had after she had a particularly mind-blowing orgasm.

"Good? I'm… great. I felt like I was going to die without touching you sometime soon, Jade. How did you manage to find my toy box?" I asked, slowly easing myself off her lap, whimpering at the loss of the toy within my still quaking walls.

"I know your room better than you do, Vega. You can't hide things from me in there," she said, stroking a hand over my thigh as she leaned in, pressing kisses to my jaw.

"Can I go to Jades tomorrow, please?" I asked as I cleared my plate away from the table and started running the taps in the sink so I could do the dishes.

"Can it be Sunday instead? I was hoping we could catch up on our father-daughter night," my dad said, coming up to set his plate on the dirty side before he picked a towel up and started drying the dishes I'd already cleaned.

Smiling up at him, I nodded. "Of course, dad. I'd love to spend time with you. What would you like to do?"

My father set the towel down and made his way over to his work bag, digging through it. "I got tickets to see the raptors against the Lakers."

"Really? You want to watch basketball? What happened to hockey?"

He shrugged. "I won them through work. I actually won three, do you think Jade will want to come?"

"I can certainly ask her, " I said as I pulled my phone from my pocket after draining the sink and moved to grab my water bottle as I unlocked my phone and sent Jade a message, asking if she could message back whenever she had a chance to.

Jade didn't message me back until just after ten while I was brushing my teeth and readying myself for bed. I glanced at my phone as I rinsed my mouth out and set my toothbrush up on it's charger.

I took my phone from the other edge of the sink and sat on the toilet, looking at her message.

J: Sorry babe, we were playing guitar hero. Rile just went to bed, mums making coffee. Do you want me to call?

Smiling at her offer, I quickly typed out a reply.

No, it's okay if you wanna keep spending time with your mum. Just wanted to ask you if you wanted to see some basketball with dad and I. I love you. Get back to me whenever, no rush.

Jade's reply was almost instantaneous.

J: I love you too, I'm not having coffee. Just getting ready for bed myself. Xx I'd love to spend time with you and David. When?

Tomorrow.

I messaged back before standing up and went to flush the toilet before remembering I didn't actually need or go to the toilet and made my way into my room, laying across my bed with a yawn.

You can call whenever you're ready if you want to.

I sent her as I moved around a little so my head was against the pillows.

Opening my laptop, I brought up the window we used to call each other and made sure it and my phone were on charge as the call came through the speakers.

"Hey," Jade said softly as I answered the call.

"Hey," I said, smiling brightly at her pretty face.

"How was your night?"

"It was okay, I missed you though. How was yours?"

"Good, eventful. We watched the new Mighty Pups episode and then played guitar hero for a few hours and had tacos for dinner."

"Dad made meatloaf, it's been a while since we've had it. It was really yummy."

"Yeah? Did you eat enough?"

I nodded, pulling the sheet over my body. "Yeah, I'm stuffed. Although, taco's sound really good right now."

Jade chuckled and wiped her face clean of makeup. "Sorry, I shouldn't have mentioned them."

"Nah, it's fine. We can get some tomorrow… Do you really want to come with us?" I asked, eyebrows creasing a little with nerves.

"I'd love to, Vega. Unless you don't want me to?"

"Of course I want you there. Who else will talk about random things with me when the game gets boring?"

"You just want to be on the kiss cam, hey?" Jade grinned, and I shook my head before thinking about it for a moment and I shrugged.

"Maybe, it's a possibility. I doubt they'd actually point it at us though."

"Who's playing?"

"Raptors versus Lakers."

"Oh, I didn't know they were Basketballers too, I thought the Raptors were Hockey only."

"So did I, weird."

"I just need to go to the bathroom, okay?"

I nodded, snuggling down into my bed more as Jade set her phone on the bed.

I didn't have to wait long before Jade came back, scrubbing at her teeth as she picked up her phone again and took me back to the bathroom while she brushed her teeth, setting her phone up on the edge of the bench so it didn't get wet..

"Hey, Jade?"

I waited for her to look at me and smiled as a little bit of toothpaste dribbled out of her mouth. "I love you."

Holding up a finger, Jade leaned down, rinsing her mouth out before looking back at me as she rinsed her toothbrush. "Love you too, Vega."

My heart skipped and I beamed a smile at her before pulling the blankets further up my body.
