A white sedan pulls up in the driveway, the engines dying down before the driver's side door swung open. Stepping out of the car was Lucy, her dark cobalt eyes scanning the exterior of her two-story home. A gentle breeze greeted her cheekbones which also caused her neck length hair to sway lightly.
The one thing that changed about her appearance was the color of her hair. Since she had been dyeing her hair brown for as long as she could remember, and because of her recent transformation it now reverted into her natural hair color a bright auburn color.
Then she shuts the door of her car and walks up to the front door, unlocking it with her keys. Once inside, she quickly noticed that there were spider webs hanging down from the corners of the rooms with the smell of dust being the most prominent. Her face scrunched up and covered her mouth and nose from the smell.
Thus, she began to clean her home, specifically her library room. It was small but enough to fit all of her books on the shelves. She was taking them and putting them inside a box to be cleaned later. Using a microfiber cloth to clean the empty wooden shelves, dipping the cloth into a bucket of clean water before continuing to do the rest.
She stood up from the wooden floors before bending down to grab the box filled to the brim with books and walked out of the room. Carefully, she enters the living room noting that it was in disarray, this was mostly her doing since she was so adamant in tidying up the place.
Just when she was about to set the box down her eyes glanced at the front door, instantly her body froze. There stood a silhouette of a tall man, hidden in the shadows to which she wasn't able to get a good view of his face. Her face hardened and was now glaring at the stranger.
"Who the hell are you?" She demands while baring her teeth. The man chuckles and she narrow her eyes in suspicion.
"My, my, that's no way of treating your guest in such a way."
He reveals himself from the shadows, and there stood a scarred, elderly white man resembling a retired super-villain, with a lined face. Wears a long coat and a skull belt buckle. What really struck her the most were his crimson eyes which somehow emanated a glow in them.
Her eyes widening in horror before mumbling out his name. "Megatron."
His eyes tore away from her and began to inspect the house with slight interest. Noticing the items in the house were scattered across the table and there were boxes that had been untouched for quite a while, with a thin layer of dust on the cardboard.
"For such a small living space, you humans tend to own more items than you can hold." Megatron commented, shoving his gloved hands into his pockets.
She inwardly sighed, swallowing whatever anger she had in her, before bending over to set down the box on the couch. "Not all humans hoard items, you know?"
He lifted a single brow looking inquisitively at her. "Is that so? Then you are aware that those items tend to lose their value over time."
She couldn't believe she was having this conversation with him; it was so… unlike him. Her eyes drifted off towards a small picture frame that is placed right at the edge of the television. There it displayed an old photo of her family huddled together by their old fireplace; it was the last picture she had of them before the tragedy.
"Perhaps… it depends on the perspective. It doesn't hold value to you but through my eyes it does, whether it's considered worthless or not." She said in a soft tone with her eyes halfway closed.
Megatron follows to where she was staring and was now examining the picture of her family. Not noticing Lucy had turned to look at him with her arms folded in front of her chest.
"But more importantly, how did you find me? And what business do you have for me?"
A grin tugs on the side of his lip as he glances from the corner of his eye at her. "You ask many questions. If you must know, I came here on my own accord. Be grateful that I have no intentions in harming you whatsoever."
Her features hardened, with her lips were pressed into a thin line and her eyes narrowed angrily at him. "Such a gentleman," she said with sarcasm laced in her voice.
"Now, give me a good reason why I shouldn't strangle you right here and now." Lucy threatened which earned a low chuckle from him as he turned to face her.
"Because if you do, then you will put your three human friends' lives at stake."
Suddenly her eyes began to glow an intense blue, and her body emitted a light blue aura. "What have you done to them?!" She asked, seething where she stood.
"I haven't harmed them, yet, I might do so unless you hear my proposition."
Megatron takes a few steps forward until he stands right in front of her. He towered over her easily where she reached just an inch below his shoulders to which she had to crane her neck in order to keep a hold of his gaze. Being in his holomatter he had the chance to take in every little detail of her features, from her hair, to the freckles that adorned her cheeks, and those captivating eyes he had grown curious to.
"I can assure you that your friends will come to no harm. Under one condition: you must come with me aboard my ship." He then pulls out his hand from his pocket and then proceeds to gently trace down her delicate cheeks using his index finger.
His sudden touch caught her by complete surprise as she stared at him wide-eyed, with her lips parted slightly. There were so many scenarios flooding through her mind regarding her friends. Contacting the others was out of the question. Even if she got a hold of them there's no telling what Megatron's true intentions are. She'll have to take his word for it… but will he even stay true to it? Perhaps… she doesn't have any other choice now does she?
She closed her eyes for a moment and then reopened them. The anger had already subsided causing the glow in her eyes along with the aura to disappear. She agreed with a silent nod in which he oddly smiles down at her.
Megatron offered his hand to her with slight hesitation at first but she gave in and took his hand. He then guided her out of her own home where he takes her to an abandoned building a few blocks away.
As soon as they arrived at the vacant parking lot, his holomatter suddenly fizzled out of existence. It wasn't long before she heard heavy footsteps and saw the warlord appearing around the corner. Afterwards, a ground bridge appeared right behind him.
She took this as her cue and allowed her body to be engulfed in a ball of light. Her small frame grew effortlessly until she had transformed into her Cybertronian form. Her light foot fall of her pedes can be heard as she approached him. Megatron offered his forearm to her, which was the new appendage he had gotten. She stared at it fixedly before wrapping her arm around his forearm and then he guided her into the vortex.
Upon their arrival, the troopers manding the ground bridge controls were utterly shocked to see Megatron walking arm-in-arm with an Autobot femme. Every other trooper that were present down the halls of the Nemesis were avoiding the femme, deeply fear-stricken after the others had perished in her hands.
"Where are you taking me?" She tilts her helm up at him, seeing his optics glancing down at her for a moment before looking forward.
"Someone who holds answers of which you seek." His words were vague, and she didn't prod any further.
Eventually they reached their destination, the doors to the medical bay slid open as Megatron took her inside. He could feel her arm stiffened and her digits were slowly scratching the surface layer of his metal skin. Laying on the medical table in restraints was none other than Cylas.
The sound of their arrival aroused the mech from his recharge as he lifted his helm to meet their gazes, especially the autobot femme beside him. "Ah... I see you brought an autobot to experiment on."
She clenched her jaw tightly as the anger was slowly building up the longer, she stared at him before uttering his name. "Silas…"
He blinked by the sound of her voice staring at her in utter disbelief. Until he began to cackle, throwing his head back before looking at her again.
"Look at you... You're everything I aspired to be." Cylas trails off eyeing her from head to toe. "How did you do it? Did you strip the life of the autobot body you now possess?"
He was met with silence and saw the look she gave him was that of disgust.
"What's with that look? Are you not satisfied with what you've become? By what I have longed achieved."
Lucy let go of Megatron's arm where she now stomped towards him. "Achieved!? The only thing you achieved was desecrating the dead for your own malicious purposes!" She yelled, outraged by his bold statement as she now stood in front of the table where he laid.
Cylas chuckled darkly, "Aren't you the one to talk." He lifts his helm to glare down at her, jealousy written on his only functioning optic.
"How wrong you are. Thinking that I have the audacity of killing and using a corpse like you did." She points an accusing digit at him. "I became this way because of the heirloom, the necklace you oh so desperately tried to get your filthy hands on."
His optic widened at this knowledge before glaring down at her fiercely. If looks could kill, she would've been dead where she stood. Cylas began to struggle with his restraints wanting to desperately strangle her with his bare metal hands. There was not a lick of fear present on her features and it angered him to no end.
"I want you to answer me, Silas. If you don't then that's fine, but I need to know. Why did you do it? Why my family?!" She demanded, while she fought back the tears.
Cylas sneered and narrowed his optic at her. "Still holding onto the past, huh?"
"Answer the question!" She spat at him.
He smirked and then summoned his shoulder gun. Yet, he didn't get the chance to fire when it was viciously torn off by an unknown force followed by a loud thud. Cylas screamed from the pain as his shoulder began to bleed, droplets of energon traveling down his chest. What was left behind were the few wires sticking out which would let out a few sparks every so often.
"ANSWER ME!"
With a hitched intake of breath, he glared down at her, his optic squinting from the pain in his shoulder. He pushed the pain aside and took his time to gather his thoughts, albeit, slowly.
"Ah... You're just like her… even after death, you act just like your mother." Cylas admitted slowly, taking in deep breaths as the pain had begun to numb his senses.
"What… you knew my mother?"
He threw his helm back as he drawled. "Yess… I met her when I was transferred to a different hospital. After my stealth team was ambushed… and I was severely injured. Your mother was assigned to care for me. We... quickly became acquainted and… treated me like I was part of her family."
"Why?" She mumbles out and bawls her hands into tight fists. "Why did you kill them?!"
Cylas lifted his helm to look straight at her and was utterly surprised to see him bore a look she would never have expected: guilt.
"I confronted your mother after I found out the true origins of that necklace and demanded her to hand it over. She refused. Thus, cutting ties with me. But… your mother, Varvara, wasn't supposed to be there that night… I-I never meant for her to die…" There was pain laced in his voice as he turned his helm away and squinted his optic shut.
Lucy stared fixedly at him in disbelief with her shoulder-pads slumped slightly forward. The realization smacking her across the face. "You loved her…" Then her face contorted into a mixture of anger and sadness.
"She treated you like family! Instead, you allowed your lust for power to consume you… all because of the heirloom..." She shook her head in disappointment, her optics darting away from him.
Cylas reopened his optic and then stared down at her, "And I would have gotten away with it… if it hadn't been for your meddling sister who protected you!"
Lucy was taken back and allowed his revelation to sink in. She can vaguely remember hearing some sort of noise in her half-drowsiness state. Emily protected her… oh, poor Emily.
"The power that you possess would've changed everything… what a waste… just like your famil—GAHH!"
There was a loud crunch followed by Cylas wailing in pain. Lucy had her arm extended with her servo closed tightly towards him. Her optics held so much anger directed at him and had ultimately crushed his left arm in her fit of rage.
While Cylas squirmed under his restraints with the immense pain being the only thing filling his processors was when she began to speak in a low and stern voice.
"Not only did you betray my family, but you betrayed my mother's trust. You lead yourself into this sinfulness path and your actions have come at a grave price."
Lucy turned with her back facing him, as her helm hung low. "If you truly loved her… then you would've let her go a long time ago… because you refused to move on…"
With that she heads over to Megatron's side where he escorted her out of the room. They strolled down the empty hallways in silence. Megatron hadn't uttered a single word since taking her to confront Cylas. She was secretly glad that he didn't say anything on the matter because she really didn't feel like talking, for now.
Megatron had taken her to the main room of the Nemesis. There were only a few troopers occupying the space who were mainly focused on the consoles, however. Upon hearing their arrival caused them to cease what they were doing, and all optics were on Megatron, especially on her.
An all too familiar mech named Starscream approached them, not really noticing her presence at first as he greeted the warlord. "Lord Megatron, welcome ba—wait... what's she doing here!?" Starscream gestured his claw-like digits at her.
She in turn glared at him causing his wings to move down in fright. He hadn't forgotten what he saw in her from that day. The way she had a particularly abnormal aura around her. Starscream never feared anyone, apart from Megatron but this femme… took the number one spot as someone to be truly feared of.
Megatron glances down at the seeker before narrowing his optics. "She's our guest aboard the ship. It would be wise for you to treat her with utmost respect, Starscream."
Starscream flinched from the possessiveness in his master's tone before bowing his head in understanding. "Ah... y-yes, Lord Megatron."
Megatron past him with the femme following close behind. It's as if time had stopped when Starscream's gaze met hers. The way her electric blue optics sent daggers at his way sent a chill down his back strut making him freeze where he stood. Watching in silence as both headed towards the main control panels of the Nemesis.
Lucy stood right behind Megatron with her helm hung slightly down. She was too enthralled in her thoughts to notice Megatron was now facing her and it wasn't until he held out a datapad to her that caught her attention.
"Why are you giving me this?" She takes it from his servo and stares fixedly at it.
"It contains both audio and video recording of your confrontation with Cylas." He stated bluntly.
She raised her gaze at him in disbelief. "I don't understand… why?"
"Isn't that what you seek? You have evidence of the killer's confession, do you not?" Megatron raised his brow-ridge gesturing his sharp talons at the device.
She couldn't form words and instead bobbed her helm in acknowledgement. Shrinking the datapad and putting it away behind her hip-plate. Then Megatron spoke causing her to crane her neck up at him again. She was seriously considering flying up to his optic-level because her neck was beginning to ache.
"You are to remain here at the bridge until I require your presence once I'm on Cybertron. Soundwave will Space Bridge you to the location of the Omega Lock." Megatron said as he walked past her, but the sound of her voice made him cease.
"Omega lock? You mean those keys are used to unlock it… to restore Cybertron?"
Megatron looked over his shoulder-pad at her and the large screens began to display the images of their war-torn planet. He watched as she now stared up at the screen and was covering her mouth in horror.
"Without the use of the Omega Lock, then Cybertron will truly be lost. I'm certain you are already aware of that."

Hello!
Just wanted to drop a quick note here. To the person who left a review, I apologise if I couldn't answer directly to you! It's a bit difficult to answer when it's made anonymously.
To Stephanie, this mech she'll fall for is definitely not Optimus! In the early stages of this book she was originally gonna fall in love with him but didn't follow through with it. Hope this answer is satisfactory for you!
