Hey guys, so I basically just needed Venom and Eddie to talk about the kiss, and then kiss some more haha, so that's what I wrote...and then I accidently wrote two more fics after this one. They can all be read alone, but they are basically sequels. The next one is called "Different Species, Same Desires."
I hope that you enjoy them, much love xox

It had been a productive day as far as Eddie was concerned; they'd had coffee with Anne on her doorstep, saved Mrs Chen from a bad guy, and taken a walk around while Eddie explained a multitude of things to Venom about humans and life on Earth.
Night settled in and they ended up back in Eddie's apartment with a bag of fresh Chinese takeaway. Venom helped Eddie to clear debris and yesterday's rubbish from the couch before he sat and opened the bag of food. Eddie took out the three containers and laid them out on the cushion next to him since he hadn't replaced his coffee table yet. He took the lids off of all three containers and then glanced at the head that Venom had formed. Was it weird that he was already getting used to seeing a black goo alien appear from various parts of his body all the time?
"Which one do you want to try first?" Eddie asked his symbiote, ready with his chopsticks.
Venom's 'neck' extended so that he could inspect the contents of the containers more closely, "This one," he announced reaching for the container closest to the edge of the couch with a tendril, "it has the most meat."
Eddie couldn't argue with that, so he picked up the container, holding it close as he expertly scooped up a chunk of meat with his chop sticks and held it out for Venom. Milky eyes watched closely until the symbiote was offered the food, and then his tongue curled around the chop sticks, drawing the whole thing into his mouth.
"No, Venom!" Eddie cried, "The chop sticks aren't food, they're what you use to eat the food so it doesn't get all over your hands."
The tongue uncurled, "We did not like the taste of them anyway," Venom informed him and then just took the piece of meat off of the end of the chop sticks with the tip of his tongue, "this tastes much better."
"Yeah, you like it?" Eddie asked, using the same chop sticks to shovel some into his own mouth. After having shared a kiss with the symbiote, Eddie didn't really care about swapping out his chop sticks for ones that hadn't been coated in alien saliva. It did get him thinking about that kiss again though.
"It is not bad for something that is dead," Venom informed him, head turning towards the other two containers.
Eddie picked them up one at a time and gave Venom a piece of meat from each, "Which do you like best?"
"This one," the symbiote pointed a tendril at the second one he'd tried.
"Hmm, the chicken, I was betting on the pork. Alright bud, the chicken is all yours then," Eddie told him, picking up the beef for himself.
Venom grinned toothily and used his tendrils to bring the container right up to his face and tipped the contents into his mouth. His long tongue licked the container clean, "Mmm, brains would taste good in sauce," the symbiote stated as he licked his own face.
Eddie was too busy watching his alien's long tongue to hear about brains and sauce, all his brain was thinking about at that moment was how good that tongue had felt in his mouth, and how much he wanted to feel it again. There was a small part of him that was waving red flags about how bad his mental state must be if he wanted to kiss a deadly, brain-eating, goo alien again. Luckily the rest of him was shoving that part in the corner and ignoring it.
"Eddie! You are not listening," Venom complained, pulling Eddie back from his thoughts.
Eddie cleared his throat, trying to push the memory away, "Huh? Sorry buddy, what's up?"
"How many different sauces do humans make?" Venom inquired.
"Oh, I don't know…" Eddie shrugged, "thousands, tens of thousands, possibly more, why?"
"I must try all of them!"
"I'm not sure that's possible."
"Why not?"
"Because we don't have all of them in America," Eddie tried to reason.
"We will go where the sauces are then," Venom declared.
"V, I don't have the money to buy that much sauce or travel around the world," Eddie informed him, hoping that Venom would understand, "why the sudden sauce obsession anyway?"
"We must find the best sauce to go with brains," the symbiote stated as if it were obvious.
That made sense to Eddie, and that was precisely why there were red flags in his mind, "Uh, okay, maybe we should start with recipes that cook brains in sauce…and I can't believe that's a sentence I just said."
"Humans eat brains too?!" Venom exclaimed; he was clearly intrigued.
"Uh, well, some humans eat animal brains, but it's not a common thing," Eddie clarified before Venom got too carried away and tried to get him to eat brains as well.
"Bring up the internet; we need to find these recipes!" Venom demanded, a tendril reaching for Eddie's phone.
"How about we finish dinner first, and we'll look at recipes later?" Eddie requested firmly.
Venom sighed in agreement, and pulled his tendril out of Eddie's pocket, "Fine."
"Thank you," Eddie went back to eating his Chinese while Venom fished all of the pork out of the remaining container with his tongue. Of course that put his thoughts right back where they were a few minutes ago. He needed to bring it up with Venom, he couldn't keep getting distracted like this, and Venom was sure to pick up on his thoughts and feelings sooner rather than later.
"So…should we, I mean, do we need to, uh, talk about what Annie said today?" Eddie fumbled, mentally facepalming himself; he was such a loser that he couldn't even talk to his alien symbiote about the kiss that said symbiote initiated without being a nervous bumbling fool.
"That she was sorry we were gone?" Venom queried, "She obviously likes us."
"Uh, no, that wasn't what I meant," Eddie corrected, taking a deep breath, "I-I meant when she said that the kiss in the forest was your idea…"
Venom stopped licking at the Chinese container and brought his head up to face Eddie, "We saw in both your and Anne's memories that kissing was performed by two beings who shared a connection, it was a way of demonstrating that you like and care for the other. Did we do it wrong?"
"Oh, um, no, no you did it perfectly," Eddie swallowed. The fact that Venom knew exactly what he was doing, and why he was doing it made Eddie's heart beat a little faster.
"Why do we need to talk about it then?" Venom asked, clearly confused.
Eddie put his own food down and fidgeted with his jacket buttons, "Do-do you intend to do it again, you know, in the future?"
"We do not know," Venom's milky eyes narrowed, "does Eddie want us to kiss him again?"
"What? I didn't say that," Eddie said hurriedly, shifting his gaze away from those big questioning eyes.
"Your heart is beating faster than normal Eddie," Venom stated self-assuredly.
Eddie rubbed the back of his neck, "Was it…was it weird for you? Did you like it?"
"We have lived for a very long time and encountered many species, some of which have similar rituals. We are not unfamiliar with the concept of affection, but our species does not usually engage in anything like it."
Eddie's heart sank a little, "Well I don't want you to do anything that makes you uncomfortable."
"It did not make us uncomfortable to kiss you Eddie, it was pleasant, and we liked the chemicals it created in your brain," Venom assured him, still presumably naïve as to why Eddie was asking.
"That's good to know," Eddie was unsure what else to say without admitting what he wanted.
Venom drew his head in closer to Eddie's, speeding up his heart rate again, even though the symbiote didn't have any pupils, Eddie could feel the weight of those strange eyes watching him intently. Then Venom's tongue slithered out of his mouth and Eddie thought his heart was going to jump out of his chest. The very tip of Venom's tongue touched his face, right next to the corner of his mouth, lapping at the skin for a few moments before retracting his tongue and laughing. It took Eddie a moment to realise that he must have had sauce on his face, but he felt fairly certain that Venom had caught on and was teasing him now.
"Did you think we were going to kiss you Eddie?"
"Maybe," he admitted shyly.
"Your brain was not sending out bad signals, we know that you've been thinking about it too. Do you want to kiss us Eddie?" Venom formed more of himself as he spoke, so that he had a complete torso with arms.
Eddie bit his lip, that part of himself that he was ignoring said that he shouldn't be so excited at the prospect of kissing his parasitic alien, but damn if Venom didn't make him feel so many things that he hadn't felt since Anne had left him.
"Yes," he croaked out with a faint nod.
Venom smirked as his clawed hands gripped Eddie's shoulders and the symbiote licked at Eddie's lips for the brief moment it took him to respond and open his mouth to Venom. Eddie's arms went around Venom's mass and their tongues met in his mouth. Kissing Venom was like nothing else, you would think that it would simply be too much tongue and saliva, but Eddie was kind of into it.
The tongue slid a little further down his throat and Eddie groaned into Venom's mouth, his finger's gripped into the black goo of Venom's back. There were no thoughts in his head, just Venom in his mouth, and pressing his solid chest into Eddie's; he hadn't felt so good in months.
The tongue withdrew and Venom's torso shifted back from his own, leaving Eddie panting and wanting more.
"Is that what Eddie wanted?" Venom asked smugly, certainly knowing the answer already.
"Yes," it came out far more breathless and needy than Eddie intended it to; Venom was far better at kissing than a lot of humans, "how did you like it?"
"We like kissing Eddie, we are pleased that you wanted us to do it again," Venom responded happily.
"Reckon you'd want to do it regularly?" Eddie probed, a little more confident now.
"Yes Eddie," there was anticipation in the symbiote's voice.
"Good," Eddie licked his lips, "what about right now?"
Venom didn't answer verbally, instead he slid his tongue back between Eddie's lips and pushed him firmly against the couch.
