Katsuki was angry. This was pretty normal for the blonde, who was almost constantly enraged by something, it just depended on what that something was that determined how angry he felt. And one thing that always seemed to enrage him to the maximum was that useless, quirkless Deku, or anything to do with him. So, finding out that his first and second opponents in the Tournament would be the two chicks that had latched onto the nerd filled him with indistinct fury.

Now he stood opposite the blank faced frog bitch, half listening to Midnight repeat the rules he'd heard a half dozen times already, his palms itching as he felt the sweat drip down them. He was going to finish this fast. So fast that that shitnerd Deku would get the message loud and clear and drop out of the tournament. He watched as Midnight lifted her whip, releasing the building explosion the instant she shouted "Begin!"

Katsuki reached out for the girl, blinking as she vanished, before he quickly looked up, the bitch having jumped right over him. A cruel smile crossed his lips as he spun in the air, firing an explosion straight up. Frog cried out as the blast hit her, causing her to spin through the air as Katsuki righted himself, using small blasts to slow himself down before he flew over the edge of the ring.

The wet sensation wrapped around his wrist, the blonde blinking before he was yanked off balance by the tongue wrapped around his arm, pulling him straight towards Frog's knee. He reacted instantly, blasting himself sideways before grabbing the tongue with both hands, setting off a series of small, but hot, explosions right on top of it.

Frog screamed in pain as he grinned, tightening his grip on the tongue with one hand, using the other to start building momentum as he started to spin. The girl was yanked forwards, just like he had been earlier, straight into a knee to the stomach, making her eyes bug out as she coughed up a mouthful of foul-smelling liquid. Katsuki ignored the faint sting as it got on his skin, instead slamming an open palm into her chest, and releasing a massive blast.

He sneered as the girl flew limply through the air, blinking as he was suddenly pulled towards her. He looked down as he felt the pressure around his waist, the long tongue, still smoking slightly, wrapped around him, and quickly pulling him towards the edge. It hardly mattered, she would still hit the ground first, and he would win. But it didn't send the right message.

Katsuki screamed as he unleashed another powerful blast, stopping himself and Frog from going over the edge, the girl getting unsteadily to her feet as she unwrapped her tongue, the appendage hanging loosely from her mouth.

"Just go down," Katsuki snarled, "Why are you fighting so hard? Did that fuck Deku put you up to this?!"

"What, kero?" she slurred, swaying dangerously on her feet, "No, I want to win…because I want to win…what does Izuku have to do with this?"

"Don't fucking lie to me, bitch!" Katsuki roared as he launched himself forwards again, the girl trying to dodge to the side, but getting caught in the ribs by a kick, "I know he's helping you! Why else would you be obsessed with him?!"

"Obsessed?" the girl croaked, looking up at Katsuki as she lay in front of him, the blonde practically foaming at the mouth as he prepared to unleash another explosion, "I just like him. It seems like you're the one who's obsessed to me."

"FUCK YOU!" he screamed as the explosion engulfed half the stage, the crowd gasping as the scorched form of the girl slammed heavily into the grass, not moving as Medic bots rushed out to get her.

"And Katsuki Bakugo wins!" Midnight called uncertainly, the crowd giving a weak cheer as the teen panted on the stage, before stalking off.

"That…that bastard!" Ochako shouted as Bakugo walked off the field, "How could he do that to Tsu?"

"It is a competition, Uraraka," Iida said as the girl jumped to her feet, "He was simply fighting his hardest, as I am sure was Asui."

"Yeah, but…" the brunette growled, "Still, he was too cruel! I'm going to kick his ass in the next round!"

"Uraraka!" Iida gasped, "That type of language is inappropriate for a future Hero!"

"I don't hear you scolding Bakugo for swearing all the time," she shot back, Iida immediately falling silent.

"Just calm down and watch your boyfriend's fight, Uraraka," Ashido called as the brunette scowled.

"Fine," Ochako sighed, falling back into her seat, before blinking, her face going red, "W-wait…Izuku's not my boyfriend!"

"Are you sure?" the pink-skinned girl smirked, grabbing Ochako as she started to float away, "Are you really sure?"

Izuku sighed as he checked his blood supply again. He'd used one bag for the Obstacle Course, and another for the Dodgeball game, then had drunk a third for the first round of the tournament, leaving him with two bags in the cooler. However, his first fight had ended without him even realising it and had used up all his blood somehow. He sipped at the bag in his hand, draining the last of the blood from it before letting out a sigh. He had to be careful from here on, use as little blood as possible in this fight so he could have a chance against Todoroki in the next.

"Will the contender's please make their way to the ring," the electronic voice called, Izuku heading out to the field as Mic gave the introductions.

"Here he is! The monster in a boy's skin! A beast that cannot be controlled! Izuku Midoriya!" Izuku flinched at the words, wondering if Mic knew more than he was letting on. Aizawa -sensei was in the booth with him, so maybe they'd talked about him, "And his opponent! Who apparently didn't like my last introduction! The religious maiden of 1-B! Ibara Shiozaki!"

Izuku noted the slightly annoyed glare the girl gave the announcer's booth, before returning to her serene pose, looking like she was praying. Midnight explained the rules again, both teens nodding as she lifted her whip, bringing it down with a loud shout.

"BEGIN!"

"I will cleanse you from this world, Demon!" the girl suddenly shouted, taking Izuku by surprise as she spread her vines across the entire stage, "Via Dolorosa!"

"Oh, wow," Izuku blinked as he jumped back, hovering in the air as the vines lashed against the ground below him, "That's so cool!"

"Silence, Demon!" the girl shouted, "I have made this new technique just for you! Feel the wrath of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit! Benedictis Christi!"

Izuku watched as the vines grew up into the air, forming into a massive cross as the girl gave a small smirk.

"Do you feel the darkness within you recoil?" she asked, "Be purged of your evil!"

"Uhm…" Izuku said nervously, rubbing the back of his head as he blushed slightly, "Sorry, but religious iconography doesn't have an effect on me. At least, not in the way I think you want it to?"

"What?" the girl blinked as Izuku flew around the cross, darting to right beside her.

"Sorry, but I have to win this quickly," he said, looking into her eyes before grabbing the vines that were her hair and ripping them free of the ground, scooping her up in his arms and flying over the edge of the ring, gently dropping her on the ground.

"What?" she said again, looking up in surprise as Midnight announced his win.

"Sorry," Izuku muttered, his face still red as he smiled kindly at her, the sun shining down on his dark green hair, making a halo around his head, "I didn't hurt you when I broke the vines, did I? I didn't want to."

Ibara simply stared for a moment, her heart skipping a beat before she shot to her feet and darted off the field, leaving a stunned Izuku staring after her.

"I'm going to kick his ass," Ochako huffed as she sat beside Izuku, her face a mixture of worry and anger, "He hurt her so badly! This is just a contest! He didn't need to go that far!"

"How is Tsuyu?" Izuku asked, having tried to go see the girl after his fight, but being chased away by Recovery Girl.

"Her tongue is in bad shape," Ochako sighed, "But Recovery Girl said it would heal fine. But it was still too much!"

"I agree," Izuku nodded as he watched Todoroki and Tokoyami walk onto the stage, the fight starting a moment later, the iceberg capturing the bird-headed boy and his quirk almost instantly, "At least she doesn't have to worry about going into Torpor though."

"I suppose," Ochako sighed, "But still…"

"Just fight your hardest for her then," Izuku smiled as he patted Ochako on the shoulder, "I'll be cheering for you from up here.

The brunette blushed as the field was cleared quickly, the next fight already starting, Kirishima going up against the 1-B boy with a spinning quirk.

"Not my boyfriend, indeed," Ashido chuckled as she leaned down between the two, "You two sound like a real power couple to me!"

"Power throuple would be more appropriate, I believe," Yaoyorozu hummed absentmindedly, "That is, if Asui-san is in fact a member of their relationship."

"Ah!" Izuku choked slightly, waving his arms frantically in front of him as Ochako went bright red, starting to float away again.

"Eijiro Kirishima wins!" Midnight shouted out form down on the field, Mina jumping up to cheer as the red head waved to the crowd.

Katsuki snarled as he walked onto the stage again, glaring down the round-faced bitch that had been bad mouthing him next to Deku. Did she think he wasn't there? That he couldn't hear her just because he was sitting in the back of the stands. Well, he was going to show her, just like he'd showed the frog bitch. Even if that fight had been closer than he'd liked, this one would be different, he knew it.

"And…BEGIN!" Midnight yelled, both opponents charging forwards at the shout.

Round-face stuck low to the ground as Katsuki attacked, the girl just barely dodging out of the way as he blasted the ground. He snarled again as the dust and smoke rose around him, reducing his field of view slightly. He spun as he heard the clap of shoe against stone behind him, blasting the ground again as Round-Face tried to tackle him, rolling away at the last moment.

The fight continued like this for a few minutes, Katsuki getting steadily angrier as his explosions grew in size. This wasn't what was supposed to happen! It was like with the frog bitch all over again! He was supposed to end this fight immediately and show that fucking Deku who was the real Hero! He spun around again, unleashing a massive blast that knocked the girl backwards, throwing more debris into the air.

"WHY WON'T YOU FUCKERS JUST GO DOWN?!" he roared, stomping into the dust and smoke to try and find the girl, unleashing another explosion behind him as he heard the flap of fabric, "WHAT THE FUCK IS SO GREAT ABOUT THAT FUCKING DEKU ANYWAY?!"

"Why do you care?" the words caught him off guard as he looked at the empty jacket gripped in his hand, glancing down to see Round-face crouched beside him, her eyes slightly unfocused and skin pale as she brought her hands together, "Skill Release!"

"Huh?" the teen blinked, his eyes going wide as he looked up, the debris and chunks of concrete starting to fall towards him.

He had a choice.

Either he could blow away the falling rubble and risk Round-face touching him, or he could blast her out of the ring and have to dodge the falling rocks afterwards.

He knew which was the safer choice. The smarter choice.

He chose.

The explosion engulfed the stage as the rocks fell on the two teens, the crowd gasping in shock.

The smoke eventually cleared, revealing the large pile of concrete and debris. After a moment, the rubble moved, Katsuki forcing his way up and out of it as blood dripped down the back of his neck. He looked around, eyes unfocused as he finally spotted what he was after, stumbling through the rubble towards the still form lying just inside the ring.

"I…" he gasped as he stomped on Round-face's stomach, making her cough before slamming a kick into her gut, sending her falling to the grass, "Fucking…WIN!"
