Chapter 3

Conrad sat on a tree, seeing the village from afar. The village was attacked by the leader of the Akatsuki, Pain, from which he heard of a few weeks ago from a villager from outside of Konoha.

"Are we gonna go in or just watch from afar," Kakashi asked.

Conrad leaped down from the tree and a few minutes later both arrived at the main gate. The guards let Kakashi and Conrad pass since both were wearing the leaf shinobi headgear. Conrad saw the village, which people were still rebuilding after the attack.

"I thought the village was attacked, I didn't know it was hit this hard," Conrad said.

"Yeah, we tried to stop him, but most of us failed. If it wasn't for Naruto, there most likely would have not been a Konoha to rebuild," Kakashi explained.

People started to look at Conrad. He looked like someone who has been through hell. His hair was very long and dark brown. His dark green eyes showed how much pain he endured. His clothes were worse, he wore a cloak, dark navy blue, and was ripped and torn, underneath showed his chunin vest, which the green color has faded due to exposure to the sun and years of fighting. The Ninjato, his sword, was white with red as a secondary color. But the one thing that most people were looking at was his mask. A fox Anbu mask with lightning on the corners striking the center.

"It's hiiiiimm,'' one of the villagers said.

A ball rolled to him and a kid came over. Conrad bent down and grabbed the ball giving it back to the little boy. Some of the villagers watched. Seeing what the stranger would do.

"Thanks, mister," the boy said.

Conrad smiled as the boy ran off. It reminded him of when he was young, going on adventures with Rosa, his lover, and his friend, Sandayu.

"I can't wait to see Lady Hokage and what she has planned for me," Conrad exclaimed.

Kakashi lowered his head as if something had happened to her. He begins to explain what had happened to Tsunade and that Danzo is now the 6th Hokage. Danzo, Conrad thought to himself. He has had numerous encounters with the man. He was the head of the foundation and an advisor to Lord 3rd. After they talked they headed to the Ramen shop. As they ate a couple passed them which caught Conrad's eye.

The man was old, had a beard and a shaved head. He was tall and was built like that of an average shinobi. A scar on his cheek and no right hand, since he lost it in the 3rd great ninja war. He was Kaminari Inazuma. The man of thunder. The lady beside him was a little younger. Orange hair with a little blond. Short yet walked with attitude. The lady was none other than Shifuku Inazuma.

Conrad's eyes widened when he realized who they were. He ran after them, which Kakashi tried to stop him, but he was long gone.

"Are you gonna pay or not," The Ramen Guy asked.

"Fine," Kakashi said, sighing as he paid.

Conrad followed them, using his skills of stealth to make sure he wasn't caught. Kaminari was a Sensory Ninja; he may be old, but he could still sense Chakras he knew. They arrived at a house, recently built, with 4 families living there. Conrad stopped at the house, nervous about what he was gonna say.

"So, this is where you went," Kakashi asked.

"Yeah," Conrad lowered his head.

The kid from earlier ran past them and ran towards the couple. They both looked as the kid explained how his day went. Kaminari saw the duo and walked towards them. Conrad tried to escape but his legs wouldn't let him.

"Kakashi, how are you," Kaminari asked.

"I'm fine, may we come in," Kakashi asked.

"Anything for you, student of Lord fourth," Kaminari told him.

Conrad just stood there, as Kakashi and Kaminari started walking. Kaminari looked at the boy.

"You coming son," He asked.

"Yeah," Conrad said, as he started to walk.

They all head inside in the main room that connects the four houses. Mrs. Inazuma went to get some tea. The three men sat down and started discussing old times. Conrad just sat there looking at the photos that were torn from the battle.

"You seem uncomfortable," Kaminari asked.

"I'm fine, Kami-San," Conrad said.

Silence entered the room, Kakashi looked at him as if he did something wrong. Kaminari however looked at him with confusion, but also nostalgia because only one person called him that. Conrad immediately got up and started to leave, only for someone to grab his hand. He looked to see that it was , looking at him with desperation in her eyes.

"Is that really you…. Asahi Conrad," She asked.

Conrad looked at her. To him, she was like a mother since the passing of his own mother. Kaminari tried to get up with Kakashi stopping him. Conrad looked down, looking back at her with the Sharingan. She wept and Conrad led her to a seat.

A few hours later.

Kaminari looked down at the ground. After explaining what had happened over the last four years. Conrad got up from his seat.

"WHERE ARE YOU GOING," Kaminari growled.

"To see Rosa," Conrad replied.

Kaminari grabbed his hand only to piss him off. His eyes changed to his Mangekyou Sharingan. Which shocked both Kakashi and Kaminari.

"I SUFFERED FOR HER, YOU DON'T HAVE THE AUDACITY THE COME AFTER ME, I LOVE YOUR DAUGHTER," Conrad yells at him.

Shifuku looked at him and he quieted down and left. Kakashi tried to follow him but when he was already body flickered away.

"Where did he go," Kakashi asked Shifuku.

"There is only one place he would go," Shifuku responded.
