Chapter 21 In the brightest day

In the middle of the night Ben Tennyson was in the middle of the woods alone, he needed to clear his head after his family always praised Gwen, she got the omnitrix when they were kids and now she's arrogant about being a big hero, but the most ironic thing is, she killed more people than she saving them in her battles, he saw that instead of taking the fights outside she rams through the buildings she's supposed to protect and cause even more damage.
"I just wish I could have the power to protect this city from her."He said.
He can't even ask his grandmother Verdona since she just decided not to help because she believes that he doesn't have the spark, but he won't give up.
Then a green shooting star was seen but it goes towards him stopping in front of Ben making a bright light, Ben closed his eyes and then opens then revealing a green ring.
Ben Tennyson you have shown great will, welcome to the Green Lanterns.
It attaches to Ben making him change.
Scene Skip
At the city a giant robot was attacking and Gwen was looking at it with a smirk, her family were watching with a smile waiting to see they're favorite family member.
"It's hero time."She Said.
But then a green Beam shoots at robot destroying it, they got shocked before a figure comes down.
Everyone in the city saw a man, he was wearing a green and black costume, white gloves and boots with a green mask, his symbol is that of a Green Lantern.
A reporter came and goes up to him."Who are you mysterious hero?"
He looks at the reporter and said:"I'm Green Lantern."He smiles.
"Hey!"Gwen goes up to him."What's the big idea of stealing my chance?!"
"Your chance, this is the safety of people and you wanted me to just stand back and watch instead of just destroying the machine in a instant."Green Lantern said."This isn't a game, I'm here to save lives."
"I'm the only here that this world needs!"She screams like a brat.
"Yeah right dweeb."He looks to the sides with a grunt.
She got surprised and said:"Ben!"
He looks at her and smirks."Well... You do have a brain."
"Ben where did you get that power?"Carl said surprised.
"I have no reasons to tell any of you, you didn't care before so why are you caring?"He said making the people surprised.
"No, we do care."Sandra said.
"Then why did you ditch me when we went on a family trip."He said.
"We were just trying to help Gwen."Sandra said.
"Gwen this and Gwen that, instead of praising her you should have punished her when she killed all those lives."Green Lantern said.
"No, that was the lies the news said, the villains killed them."Natalie said.
"Yeah right, I've been there, they didn't destroy those buildings she threw them there."Green Lantern said.
"Shut up!"Gwen then transforms into Humungousaur and throws a car at him shocking the family.
Green Lantern uses his ring to make a shield to stop it, she then goes Ultimate shooting many missiles scaring everyone as she fires near them destroying everything around her, the family was in shock seeing that.
Green Lantern then makes a giant mech construct and punches Gwen down before it's the symbol changing her back to normal.
Green Lantern makes the construct vanish and said:"This just proved it, you all fed the ego of crazy person, is this really the big Hero you wanted, one that can't handle a small bit of truth."
"Ben you must give that ring, it must be a alien tech too advance for this world."Max said.
"Not gonna happen, this ring chose me, unlike Gwen that got lucky I won't make the same mistake."Ben then flies away leaving them in shock.
Part 2
At space Green Lantern was now fighting against Gwen as Alien X, they were fighting because Gwen had enough and she wanted to kill Ben.
She forced the other two out of her way and gained full control.
She grabs Ben by his neck and said:"Now die!"She spins her hand making his body starts to vanishing.
Green Lantern got angry and said:"I won't lose here, I won't here!"
Then many lights of different colors and they went to him pushing Gwen away making her shocked.
Ben then appears in white Lantern form with the symbols of the corps on his body.
He looks at her and she charges a thing but White Lantern blasted her with one hand making her scream before she changes back to normal.
He takes her back to the Earth and looks at the omnitrix before ripping it off using his powers.
"Give it back."She said but he let's her go.
"Try me."He said.
She changes into her anodite form and blasted at him but the shot got destroyed before it could even touch him.
She was in shock before she changes back reverting to her base form.
"You don't have anymore power, Azmuth can't help you since he got arrested, the Plumbers are gone and now its the Green Lanterns that are the now helping the universe."
Then many Lanterns came down at his side with Star Sapphire holding his arm, this is Carol Smith.
Gwen was arrested and taken away with the Green Lanterns the new protectors, with they're base being a planet called Mogo.
Note: Here's Green Lantern Ben, he was chosen by the ring, he also defeated Gwen as a white Lantern.
