Five years later...

"Now, Caelum, Aunt Lucy gave you this special job today. You mustn't pout. You're a Malfoy, and we never fail." Draco was currently attempting to give his five-year old son a pep talk. His sister was marrying her long-time boyfriend. Her long-time boyfriend that, just a year ago, had completed a self-induced exile from the Wizarding World.

Ronald Weasley had been set free from the Psychiatric Ward of St. Mungo's about six months after the birth of Caelum Malfoy. Immediately after, he left the Wizarding World behind, left his wand behind, and entered therapy in the Muggle world. He kept a correspondence with Luciana Malfoy, sister-in-law of the woman he attacked and raped; his former best friend, Hermione Granger, now Malfoy. He would write once a year to Hermione, asking for forgiveness, and she would simply respond: "I need more time. Continue your search for peace." and sign her name - Hermione J. MalfoyThen, one year ago, he received a response that made him feel completely at peace and healed: "I forgive you, Ronald. Please come back home. Lucy will be waiting for you at her townhouse located at 278 Chatterley Drive in Wiltshire. She is ready to begin your lives together. Draco and I have cancelled our restraining order against you, and we look forward to introducing you to our son, Caelum. We are all very proud of you and your progress over the years. So, come home, Ron.Your friend,Hermione J. Malfoy

"Stop fidgeting, Ronald! Harry! Get him a glass of firewhiskey to calm his nerves." Hermione was fixing his bow tie for the third time in the last half hour. "Honestly, I don't know why you're so nervous. You're finally marrying the woman you've loved for half a decade. She is way too good for you, of course, but Lucy loves you more than all of the Galleons in Gringotts."

Ron smiled as Harry handed him a small glass of liquid refreshment. "Thanks. I'm not nervous to marry her. It's just," he sighed, "I really never thought we'd be here again, ya know?" And Hermione did know, she knew that a little over six years ago when he went nuts and hurt her in the worst way imaginable.

"It's in the past. Don't you think on it for one more second. Now, you're all set. I'm going to go see to Lucy and the next time I see you, you'll be waiting at the alter for your beautiful fiance." She gave him a quick hug, kissed Harry's cheek, then shuffled out of the room to the bridal suite.

Draco wiped a tear from his eye as his sister turned around. She was a vision in white silk. "Luce, you look so beautiful." Luciana hugged her brother tightly.

"Where's Hermione? Oh, Cal! You look so handsome in your suit!" she squealed at the sight of her nephew. "Now, you remember what to do, right? I know this is a lot of pressure to put on a young man, but I have faith in you." She reached down to caress her nephews cheek lovingly.

"Yes, Aunty Lucy. I have everything right here in my pocket." Caelum smiled proudly at his aunt then sat down on the ottoman next to the sofa his father sat at. The door opened and in walked his mother. "Mummy! Oh, Mummy! You look so beautiful! Daddy! Look at Mummy!"

Draco stood up and pulled his wife into his arms. "Our son is right. You are stunning." He kissed her softly not wanting to smudge her lipstick.

"Oh stop," she giggled, "I look like a whale, but that's what happens when you are six months pregnant with twins." Draco rubbed Hermione's stomach and Caelum walked over to do the same. "Cal, Grandmama and Grandpop said that Uncle Ori has everything set up for your sleep over tonight. Poppy Jasper is going to pick you both up tomorrow afternoon for your trip to the Zoo as well. Mummy and Daddy will come get you both after dinner to bring you back home, okay?" Caelum smiled brightly, and announced he was ready for the wedding now to which the three adults in the room chuckled.

The wedding was beautiful. Ron cried happy tears at the sight of Luciana being walked down the aisle by her brother, Draco. He couldn't believe his life was finally beginning. "Luciana Malfoy, you, my love, are absolutely gorgeous." He said as he took her hands into his own.

The wedding officiant began to speak:

"Good afternoon, everyone!" she chipped with glee, "Welcome to the bonding ceremony of Mr. Ronald Billius Weasley and Miss Luciana Veronica Malfoy. Their tale of finding each other is an odd one they were kind enough to share with me. And, although it is an unconventional type of love story, it's a love story nonetheless." The lady smiled at the two lovebirds and continued. "We are gathered here today to bind these two people. Their bond is permanent and no man shall tear it apart. As unconventional as their love story, so us this ceremony. The bride and groom wish to exchange rings as well as be bound by magical vows. Mister Caelum Malfoy, do you have the rings, sir?"

Caelum stood tall and proud as he walked forward and handed the rings to the wedding officiant with a smile and a wink at his aunt in true Malfoy fashion. The lady placed a ring in each of their hands then clasped Ron and Luciana's hands together. "Thank you, I bless these rings and reinforce them with a binding enchantment that will stay in place til death do you part." A blinding white light surrounded the couple's clasped hands. "You are now bonded and will forever be. I pronounce you as husband and wife. Witches, Wizards, and Jasper," the crowd chuckled at her joke, "Please join me in wishing Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Weasley a lifetime of joy and happiness! Mr. Weasley? Please kiss your Witch!"

Ron took Luciana by her waist and kissed her as everyone erupted into hoots and hollers. "I love you, Lucy!" he announced as he looked into her brilliant blue eyes.

"And I love you, Ron. Also, Caelum has something for you." She turned and saw her nephew smiling as he handed his Uncle Ron an envelope. He opened it and there was a black and white photo. He knew what this was. He'd seen one before. A sonogram. A child.

"Really? Me and you? Is this for real?" Ron squeaked out as tears filled his eyes. Caelum smiled and said, "Don't cry, Uncle Ron! I'm going to be a great big cousin!" Ron picked him up and swung him around causing the boy to shriek in delight. Everyone looked and Ron announced loudly, "I'M GONNA BE A DAD!" More cheers were heard, and he smile proudly. Life was beginning...it was beginning to look like a bloody good life.

Two months had gone by in a flash. Hermione was packing up her office since she was starting her maternity leave the next day. She had to stop by Lucy and Ron's townhouse to drop off a new book she'd ordered for Lucy's birthday. Ron had taken her away on holiday, so Hermione had promised to drop it off on her way home.

As she stepped through the Floo, it seemed as if nobody was home. "Lucy? Ronald? You here?" Suddenly the room lit up, and Hermione gasped.

"SURPRISE!" All of her friends and family were in the room. Draco and Caelum walked up to her. "Goodness! Are you trying to make me go into labor?" She said with a laugh as she hugged her son to her side and kissed her husband.

"We got you, Mummy! We got you good! I told you Uncle Ron, didn't I? I told you all!" Caelum looked so proud of himself.

"You sure did, Cal! I guess this goes to you then?" Ron reached into his pocket and handed Caelum a galleon. Hermione looked at him as if she was getting ready to admonish him. "He bet me a galleon that he could keep the party a secret from you. Proved us wrong though, didn't you?"

Harry came over and gave her a hug. "Happy birthday, Hermione." Hermione. felt like a fool. She'd been so busy with work and getting ready for the twins, she'd totally forgotten that tomorrow was her birthday. "You forgot your own birthday, didn't you?" he laughed as she stuck her tongue out at him.

"Miss Hermione!" a beautiful little girl with caramel skin and honey blonde hair came skipping over.

"Ava, my my! You're getting taller every day. Where's your mum and dad?" Hermione looked around for Luna and Blaise but didn't see them.

"Mum isn't feeling well, so Daddy took her to lie down in the spare room. Daddy says my little brother is taking a lot of energy from her." Ava finished with a sigh.

"Well, I know just how she feels. Growing a baby is hard work and very tiring. Oh! There's Ori, Ava." Ava snapped her head to find the boy. "Why don't you go say hello?" The pretty girl smiled and skipped off calling out 'Orion!" in a sing-song voice to which he could be seen blushing as Caelum made a face of derision.

By the time she found Lucy and gave her her gift, Hermione's back started to ache. Draco came over and had her sit while he rubbed her back. "That feels better, huh?" he asked with concern. Hermione moaned her satisfaction. Dinner was served and as Hermione stood to blow out her birthday candles on the Black Forest Cake Lucy made, the party was cut short by her water breaking.

The next morning, on Hermione's 26th birthday, Scorpius Hyperion and Cassiopeia Emelia Malfoy were born. Draco sat holding Cassie as Hermione held Scorpius, both staring in awe. "We have three children, babe. Three! And I got my little girl here, too!" Draco said as he grinned ear-to-ear. She really couldn't believe it either.

The door opened and Jasper Granger entered with a very excited big brother. "Cal, are you ready to meet your baby brother and sister?" Hermione asked her son as he crept closer. Draco walked over to the bed where his wife sat and settled in next to her, leaving space for Cal to snuggle in between.

"I will protect you both for the rest of my life." Cal whispered as he looked between Scorpius and Cassie. After staring at them for a bit, he asked, "Will they sleep all of the time? This is kinda boring." The adults in the room chuckled.

"Oh, sweetheart, no. Just enjoy the silence because most babies cry a lot because they cannot yet talk to tell you their wants and needs. Once Cassie and Scorp get older though, they'll be able to talk and play with you all of the time. Did you have fun with Ori?" Draco listened as his oldest son talked about his night. He looked over at his wife as she handed Scorpius to her father. He thought back on everything. His childhood, his time at Hogwarts, the war, the attack on him and Hermione, and everything after. This was his life now. Everything they had been through, brought them together and to this moment now. He was content and happy and fuck, he would do it all over again...just to know that this was the end result.

A/N: I may do a second epilogue to just show how everyone else is doing... we'll see!
