it's still a bit on the short side of a chapter. the only real difference is that it's told from Tohru's side of the story this time. I just wanted to do this as Tohru's first chapter since I did it from Kyo's side of the story last time.

disclamation: I still do not own Fruits Basket in any way, shape, or form. all rights in ownership of the anime go to the folks of the Funimation Anime Company in the US and to the staff at TV Tokyo in Japan. all of the manga's ownership rights go to Natsuki Takaya-sensei.

the only thing from either that I actually own is any fanfiction I happen to write on my blog, like this one here.

The paintings were eventually seen by Tohru, herself. She did not know why this little boy on T.V. had painted so many pictures of her, and so accurately even though she barely even knew this boy, at all. She had never before even met him.

At first, she thought 'maybe this little orange-haired boy went to her school & she'd never even noticed'. But, the next time she went to her school, he was nowhere to be seen or heard from.

So, Tohru thought 'she might run into him on her way home'. But both their ways to their homes did not consist of them running into one another even once.

Finally, Tohru decided that on her next weekend, she would pay this boy a visit at his house. She learned where he lived when she saw his home on the television.
