Hi! I'm back and with a new chapter for the new year!

I'm sorry that I took so long but with everything that's going on with my life and being careful of Covid-19, I couldn't find the time to write. I can't make any promises to when I will update, I can only try my best to updated it as soon as I can.

And I would like to give my full thanks to "Anthro63RP and bdd93" for the Favs, because it gave me the reason to keep writing this fanfic no matter what.

Chapter 2

Anna was in her part time job doing her usual daily routine being at the cash register, after attending a customer she checked her phone for any upcoming call or texts from a certain someone and nothing came. In the past few days, she hasn't been able to see Hiro because he was focusing all his attention in rebuilding Baymax. She only received calls and texts from her boyfriend letting her know of his progress, Anna just hopes that he was eating well knowing that teen genius is able to go 2 days without eating or drinking.

Suddenly she hears her phone notifications ring and looks to see that it was a text message from Hiro, when she taps it and the message said;

H: Hey Anna. When you get off from work come straight to SFIT

See you soon

Anna was confuse but still smiled that she'll get to see him, and had was positive that the reason he asks her to come to the university, was because of Baymax body being finished and ready.

When her shift was over Anna got on the trolley and gazed up at the sky as the sun was almost gone and the night was beginning to show itself, she got off from the trolley and continued walking towards SFIT. When she arrives at the University she mad her way to where the lab building is, which she had no problem finding it since she been here before with Hiro and the others.

Anna stood in front of a door that still had Tadashi's name on it and gaze at it for a moment with a sad smile. She opens the door and on the other side was Hiro working on what appear to be a robotic skeleton. Despite having his focus on the endo skeleton the teen genius notice his girlfriend enter the lab from the corner of his eye.

"Hey!" He smiled.

"Hey yourself" Anna smiles back and enters the lab "That's Baymax body, right? Is it finish?"

"Almost" Hiro adjusted the spectral camera then made a few taps on the tablet "If everything goes well, he should be up and running in no time".

Anna couldn't help but feel nostalgia as she looked around the place from the scatted papers and the blueprints of possible inventions, it wasn't that much different from it's previews owner "Doesn't feel like much has change here".

"Yep, it still…" Hiro gave a half a smile "Still the same as Tadashi's left it".

"But there is one thing that's different about it" Anna said with a pensive look, then smiled and pointed her finger at him "You".

Hiro looked confused "Me?"

Anna nodded "Yeah, this lab now belongs to you. So, I think it's in good hands, provided that you don't turn it into a pigsty".

"Very funny" said Hiro with a small glare but then sigh "But it's not really mine, Miss Granville said that privet labs are not for freshmen students. So, if I want this lab I have to earn it like how Tadashi did".

The teen genius became quite as his thoughts began to wonder of what he was told by the professor, a part of him was unsure if he could make it in this nerd school and didn't believe he could live up his brother's worth, which is no surprise since Tadashi always made right choices in life unlike himself. Suddenly Hiro was brought back from his thoughts when he heard Anna's footsteps move closer, before he could turn around he was caught surprise that she rapped both arms around his neck and could feel warmth on his back from her own body pressing against him. He turns his head and only got a glance of Anna's face that was a bit too close, which made him face forward feeling a bit timid. Obviously this wasn't the first time that the teen girl has hugged, but that was in the past when they were just friends and it didn't felt awkward, so it feels a bit different now that they are officially dating. Hiro was really flabbergasted that Anna, his girlfriend would make the a bold move and was so glad that the door and glass around the lab were tinted.

Anna could clearly see how shy Hiro was the light shade of red that shown on his face, she made her smile from how cute he looked "Is it okay to hug you like this?"

Hiro clear his throat and stammered "N-not at all! I don't m-mind!"

"Did it help clear your mind a bit?" She asks.

When he heard that question it made the teen boy realize why she hugged him and smiled "Yeah... It did. Thanks".

Anna holds him more gently and rested her cheek on the top of his head "You will definitely earn this lab. Without a doubt".

"I also believe that Hiro will prove his worth".

Hiro and Anna immediately step away from each other and they both had the same panic look that someone caught them in a intimate moment but were relieved to see that it was only Baymax in the computer.

"Baymax! It's really you!" exclaimed Anna leaning towards the desk "I'm so happy to see you again!"

"It is good to see you as well Anna" said Baymax.

"How much did you see? And hear?" Hiro asked hoping that his healthcare friend didn't see anything

"From the moment when Anna entered the room and you greeted her with a "Hey" and she said "Hey yourself" and after that she said-"

"Okay stop! Stop! Stop!" Hiro interrupts Baymax from going further and was blushing from embarrassment "I get it, you saw everything. Thank you".

"You are welcome".

Anna made a fake cough trying to hide her own blush and then decided to change the topic quickly "So is Baymax's body uh ready to go?"

"Huh? Oh yeah! J-Just gotta do something here and" Hiro quickly looked over his tablet, gave a few taps and a few seconds later it lit up.

"My endo skeleton is complete" Baymax announced.

Hiro gave a huge sigh of relief "Finally". He then walk around the robot to unplug the cords.

"You can now move on to the test faze" told Baymax.

Hiro didn't like the sound of that "Test faze? Are you kidding, we just have to get you dress and boom!"

"The diagnostic protocol will take 7 to 10 days" Baymax informed.

"7 to 10 days?" Hiro didn't want to wait that long if the body was already up and ready.

"Tadashi always ran an extensive diagnostic protocol".

Hiro rolled his eyes "Yeah, that sounds like Tadashi".

"Then maybe you should do exactly as he did, before jumping ahead on something that might go wrong" said a worried Anna with her arms cross.

"Don't worry Anna. I built it exactly as Tadashi's blueprints, while also adding a few of adjustment of my own. So, it'll be fine" Hiro then presses the octagon button, and the endo skeleton was now on and active. He felt satisfied and turn around towards Anna and Baymax with a smug look "See guys, it's perfect".

Anna was about to say something but then her eyes became wide "Uh Hiro".

When Hiro saw the worried look on her face and finger pointing behind him, he turns around to meet with Baymax's endo skeleton acting really weird. It started twitching while making weird noises and its arms were spinning at super speed.

Hiro took a few cautious steps back and so did Anna as they watch the robot began to glitch and wrecking the room, it trashes the bookshelves and then flips the tables making the two teens to use their arms to protect themselves from whatever came falling. Hiro tried to grab Baymax's body, but it would quickly move out of reach. The robot began to spin again, and it was about to attack Anna, but Hiro quickly tackle her out of the way, and both fell to the floor with him being on top of her.

"You okay?" Hiro asked with worry.

Anna gave a reassured smile "Yeah. Thanks for the save".

Then they both heard the robot make a loud noise and turned their attention to see it stood in front of the glass window and then jump right through it shattering it to pieces.

Hiro and Anna could only look in shock to what just transpired and then Baymax stated the obvious problem "Oh no. My body is running away"

Hiro quickly got up and so did Anna and immediately ran out from the lab and headed outside. Once outside they spotted the endo skeleton running a mock on the campus ground and were about to chase after it but then heard a female voice.

"Mister Hamada".

Hiro and Anna turned around to see a tall African American woman with short black hair and brown eyes, wearing a black long-sleeved turtleneck shirt, with a long gray pencil skirt and black heels shoes, and her accessories were gold earrings, a necklace, and a bracelet.

She was Professor Granville.

"What are you doing here at this hour?" She asked.

Hiro quickly gave a nervous smile and answered "I was studying! Yeah, just came out for some fresh air heh. Whoa that's fresh!"

Professor Granville found it a bit suspicious then notice the pigtails girl next to him "I don't believe I've seen you around here? Are you a new student?"

"M-Me! Oh no, no, no. I don't study. I m-mean I don't study HERE. I'm still in Highschool" said Anna trying not to stammer so much "I'm just h-here visiting my very smart friend Hiro".

"Yeah! A-A-And I was just showing here around the campus" interjected Hiro as he grabbed her arm and gently tugged her "S-So we'll just go".

"Follow me" spoke Granville walking towards the doors.

"A-Actually I uh- I mean we-" Hiro tried to worm his way out of the situation but the look his professor gave him said that it was not a request but an order "Have nowhere else I need to be. So, I will follow you" he says.

"That goes for you as well, young lady" said Granville at Anna, who really had no other choice.

The three of them entered the building and made their way down the halls, Hiro tried to stay calm but knew that if the professor finds out about Baymax's body, then his chances of getting Tadashi's lab will be zero. He felt a hand on his shoulder making him to look up at Anna who gave him a reassured smile that everything will be fine, in which he nodded and was grateful for her support.

They arrive at Grandville's office, and the woman told Anna to wait outside while she discusses something with the teen genius. Anna's thoughts were field with so much worry of Baymax's body running around who knows where, and Hiro possibly being in some kind of trouble with the Professor.

After what felt like forever, the door finally opened to reveal Hiro coming out and closed it with a big sigh of relief.

"Is everything okay? Did she find out about Baymax?" Anna asked with worry.

"No, we were only talking about my bot-fighting days" replied Hiro.

"Oh no".

"I-It's okay, she was only concern that I wouldn't be focusing on my classes but since I am, she was praising me to keep up the good work" reassured Hiro.

Anna let out an air of relief "Good to know".

"We should find Baymax body quick" Hiro says and runs down the halls with Anna following right behind him.

The two made it outside then spotted the robot from a distance but unfortunately it made it out the gate and was heading into the city. Hiro and Anna ran as fast as they could to catch up to it, but they lost sight of the machine. The two of them agreed to split up to cover more ground and would call each other the second they find Baymax body.

Anna searches from every corner of the streets and alleys but saw no sign of the robot, she even asked random people if by chance they saw it but sadly they didn't.

After searching for 10 minutes Anna was about to called Hiro to see if he had better luck, until she heard a car horn being made and turns around to see a nice electric car drive close to her and the window to the driver seat was pulled down.

A woman in her late 30's was on the wheel, she had black hair in a tight bun, brown eyes and lips painted in dark red. She wore a dark green business suit with an crocus shape clip on the right side, instead of a skirt she had pants on, and black heels shoes.

Her name was Olivia Falla and was Anna's caretaker.

"H-Hi Olivia!" said Anna surprise to see her show up out of nowhere.

"I was about to head to SFIT to pick you up, but for some reason you keep moving all over the city" said Olivia with showing her phone which had a tracking device.

Anna really hated when the woman would track her down "Aren't you invading my personal privacy by tracking my every move?"

"As your personal caretaker is my job to make sure you are safe" stated Olivia then gave a suspicion look "Which begs the question to why you are running around so much. Don't tell me that you're looking for that Hamada boy in those bot fighting places. It's bad enough that your friends with that reckless teen but I will not tolerate you getting into dangerous situations because of him again".

"Hiro is not bot fighting anymore. He's change and is now attending SFIT" stated Anna with a serious look "So please stop judging him for his past action. And I was only running around because I'm helping him look for something for a class project".

"Well, it'll have to be another time cause it's time for you to returned home" informed Olivia.

"But Olivia I-"

"No buts. I'm sure whatever it is he needs help with can wait until tomorrow, when it's bright and early and not dangerous" told Olivia "Get in, now".

Anna didn't want to go but knew that if she resisted anymore from the woman, she wouldn't be allowed to go out for a month and not be able to hang out with Hiro. So, with a deep sigh she got on the back seat of the car and stayed quiet during the ride.

Suddenly Anna heard her phone's ringtone indicating that she got a text message, when she checks the screen it was from her boyfriend. She quickly tapped on the message and read it.

H: Anna where are you?

Anna replied back

A: I was found by Olivia and she's driving me home.

Where you able to find Baymax's body?

She waited for his reply, and it came in seconds

H: Yes… But the situation got a bit more complicated.

A: What do you mean?

H: When you're alone, call me and I'll explain everything.

The teen girl didn't like what she read in the last text 'Maybe it's not that bad' she thought.

Anna was eating what was the third chocolate box she had all day at work, her mind was filled with nothing but worry about the very bad situation that her boyfriend got himself into.

Yesterday during a video chat, Hiro has explained what has transpired with Baymax's body. It was stolen by Yama and then he was threatened to bring some sort of paperweight, which begs the million-dollar question on why Yama would want that, and it was from Professor Granville's office of all places. Hiro's plan was to steal the paperweight, give it to Yama and once he has the endo skeleton back, he will steal back the paperweight and return it.

'He makes it sound so simple but actually pulling it off without any trouble is a whole other thing' thought the teen girl.

Anna would want nothing more than to go and help but Hiro refuse to let her to come, since it could be dangerous if the plan fails. She was touch that her boyfriend wanted to protect her and keep her safe, but she didn't like being left out, it's not like she hasn't had her fair share of danger accompanying Tadashi to save Hiro from bot fighting. Hiro has reassured her that he'll be alright and that he won't be alone, that he had Fred to back him up. She was so distracted by her thoughts that she didn't notice the boss coming behind her then use a rolled up magazine to whack her in the head.

"Ow! I'm pretty sure that's employee abuse!" She exclaims.

He was a man in his early 40's with brown hair and beard that was well groomed, he was wearing a dark blue shirt and black pants under a velvet apron. His name was Gilbert Lambert the owner of the Chocolate and Cupcake shop, and was also Karen's uncle.

"And I'm pretty sure that's $17.76 for eating 3 boxes of chocolate" stated Gilbert with a grunt "No more chocolate boxes for you until next week, unless you want to wait for your next paycheck" He heads to the back of the shop to make more chocolate.

Anna rubs her head with a pout "Would it kill him to be nicer".

"I was nice enough to let you work here. So don't make me regret it!" Gilbert shouted.

'Maybe he is part wolf' She thought and turned her attention to the next costumer.

Even during work, Anna still couldn't stop worrying over her boyfriend's plan to double cross Yama, especially when she remembered the last time he confronted the big man. Anna knew that Hiro was super smart and could get out of any situation but would still be outnumbered if the plan doesn't work, and even though Fred was going, it didn't make her feel any less concern.

As soon as her shift was over Anna finished dealing with the last costumer, then quickly took off her apron and sprinted out of the shop before even saying goodbye to her coworkers. She then made a sprint towards the trolley and manage to get on it, after catching her breath the teen girl grabbed her phone and made a special call.

After a few minutes she soon arrives at SFIT University and was about to search for 3 certain people but didn't need to as she saw them running out from the lab building.

One was a young Korean woman with black hair with a purple streak and wore a gray jacket over a white shirt, ripped leggings, underneath a pair of black shorts with red highlights, black trainer shoes and knuckle gloves. Her name was Leiko Tomago, but her nickname was Gogo.

Next to her was a large dark skin man with brown eyes, black dreadlocks that was held by a yellow headband and a beard. He wore a long green sleeve sweater, gray pants, and black shoes. His name was James Gibbs, but his nickname was Wasabi.

And next to him was a Latina young woman with slightly tanned skin, bright green eyes, pink lipstick, and large magenta-rimmed glasses. She had long honey blonde hair that reach down her back with a yellow headband keeping it in place. She wore a short yellow dress under a long soft yellow coat, white leggings, orange socks and large platform heels. Her name was Gabriella Sanchez, but her nickname was Honey Lemon.

Anna waved and called out to them "Hey guys!"

"Anna!" spoke Gogo "Sorry but we don't have time to chat, we have to-"

"Save Hiro and Fred from good luck alley" said Anna bluntly "Yeah I know".

"Wait what? You knew and you wait to tell us now?!" exclaimed Wasabi.

"That's not important right now, we need to get our gear fast and help them" said Honey Lemon with much urgency.

Anna gave a wink "Way ahead of you. Your suits and our ride should be here right about…"

Right on quo a helicopter appeared above them and they saw none other than Heathcliff on the pilot seat and threw down the latter for them.

"Uh can we just take a service driver instead" voiced Wasabi not wanting to climb up so high.

Gogo rolled her eyes and jab him with her elbow "Stop whining, woman up" she says then began to climb up with Anna going next and then Honey Lemon.

Wasabi merely sigh and follow suit and kept telling himself not to look down but let out a panic scream when the helicopter moved as he climb.

After the rescue operation and retrieving Baymax's body, the group returned to SFIT lab building, where Hiro and Anna were both facing their friends who had the same glare expression directed at them, all except for one person.

He was a tall guy with blue eyes, light brown hair that was covered by a teal beanie and a small green pendant around his neck. His casual outfit was a white long-sleeved undershirt, a light red pinkish T-shirt with a Japanese monster imprinted on it, dark green cargo shorts, and sneakers with dark green laces. His name was Frederick Flamarion Frederickson the Vl, but everyone calls him Fred.

"So, I'm sensing your angry?" spoke Hiro with a nervous smile.

And right on time Baymax appears on the computer screen and said "Without my scanning capabilities. I am unable to detect non-verbal signs of anger. Are they glaring? Are their eyebrows down and together? Do you see narrowing of their lips-"

"I got this Baymax" said Hiro and gave an apologetic look "Guys. I-I'm sorry I didn't tell you what I was doing".

"You could have gotten hurt" said Honey Lemon as her face change from anger to concern "And Anna you should have stop him from going there in the first place".

Anna lower her head in guilt "I know. But he was determining to go no matter what I said".

"And I can't believe you stole something from Professor Granville's desk" said Wasabi then pointed at Fred angrily "And you help him! And now Yama has it!"

Hiro's lips form a smirk "Well…" he pulls out the paperweight from his jacket and showed it to everyone.

"Double steal!" proclaimed Fred.

"As promised" said Hiro with a smug look.

"I'm impress" said Gogo but then punch the teen genius in the shoulder "But don't ever do that again".

"I won't" said Hiro rubbing his shoulder and then looked towards the broken glass window "But there is still one problem. How am I going to explain that to Professor Granville?"

"Don't worry I'll take care of that" spoke Honey Lemon as she used her purse to create a chem ball "Just this once".

Once the window was fixed and Hiro returned the paperweight, they all left the lab and Fred offered them a ride home on the helicopter. But Wasabi flat out refuse saying that he was taking a service car with Gogo tagging along, and Honey Lemon headed back to the dorms.

Anna and Hiro decided to walk home and were on the trolley that was heading up the street.

"Can't remember the last time, I was this tired" said Hiro leaning on the seat.

"A few weeks ago, when you took down that supervillain Yokai" said Anna with a playful shove.

"Right" Hiro rolled his eyes and rub his neck "And thanks… for having my back".

Anna gave a smirk "Like I was going to let you have all the fun without me".

"Not like I could stop you" said Hiro with his own smirk.

As they were enjoying the nice ride on the trolley Hiro notice that it was only the two of them, and of course the driver. He looks down to see that his hand was just one inch close to hers. He glances at Anna who was gazing at the sight as if she was a tourist. Hiro gulp and slowly moved his hand to place it above hers.

'I-I-It's okay. Right?' thought Hiro feeling really nervous 'We're dating after all. So, this is just n-natural'

Suddenly Anna's phones rang making the teen boy to retract his hand and shifted his body to the other direction and could feel his face turning red from what he almost did.

Anna looks at her phone screen and saw that it was Olivia, she talks to her for only a minute and hangs up with a sigh "Olivia is on her way to the Lucky Cat Café. Guess I won't be able to stay for dinner" she told.

"Can't you just give her an extended vacation?" Hiro suggested.

"I've tried but the woman is a workaholic" She says and crosses her arms "I don't think I've ever seen her have fun".

"I don't thin I've ever seen her smile" commented Hiro which made both of them laugh.

They got off at the next stop and continued on foot until they arrived at the Lucky Cat Café, and the two of them saw a familiar car parked close by. Before they could say their goodbyes, Hiro sees Anna leaning down making him think that she was going to kiss him but instead receives a playful smile.

"When we go on a proper first date, you can hold my hand without worrying" Anna says, enjoying the dumbfounded look on her boyfriend's face and his cheeks turning red "Don't get into any more trouble, unless I'm there to save you. See ya!" And with that she made her way to the car and then drove away.

The door to the café opened and out came Aunt Cass to welcomed back her nephew "Hey Hiro! You came right on time. Dinner is just about ready" but then notices that her nephew was not responding and looked confuse "Uh Hiro? Are you okay?"

Hiro merely stood there like a statue that his girlfriend figured out his intentions earlier, which only made him feel even more embarrassed from just remembering it and the blush just kept growing. The teen boy quickly enters the café and went straight to his room, and ignored his aunt calling him for dinner.

I had a lot of fun writing this last scene, just because Anna and Hiro are dating doesn't mean that it's going to be full of roses and rainbows. I'm going to be writing their development as a couple nice and slowly so that they learn from their mistakes and try to be better. So there will be times that a good moment will happen, but then something unexpected will get in the way that they'll have to try again next time.

Gilbert, Karen, and Olivia are my OC's.

The surname of Lambert, is a Belgium surnames. But apparently it's also a surname a Low German form of the name Landberht or Old English Landbeorht, meaning "bright land" or "light of the land," derived from the Germanic elements land meaning "land" and berht, meaning "bright or famous".

But just to be perfectly clear, Gilbert Belgian citizen that moved to San Fransokyo, and his niece Karen is half-Belgian and half-American.

And the surname Falla, is Norwegian and it refers to a farm that was named so because it was likely a location for landsides. The name is derived from the Norwegian word 'fall' meaning 'fall.'

After doing much research on BH6 timeline, according to one of the creators BH6 season 1 events, happens during 6 months.

So I decided on the time date for the fanfic to be: Year - 2033 and the month - June

Aunt Cass - 33 (Her BD is on April 30)

Gilbert - 44 (His BD is on November 13)

Karen - 23 (Her BD is on February 14. Oh the irony of having been born on the day chocolate is most bought LOL)

Wasabi - 20 (S1-EP 19 "Steamer's Revenge", it was Wasabi's BD and the cake had 21 candles. So his BD be on October 23)

Gogo - 19 (I'm making it that she skip a grade and graduated High School at age 17 and got a scholarship to SFIT. And her BD is on December 8)

Fred 20 (S1-EP 5 Fred's Bro-Tillion, his BD is on July 8, but then the Bro-Tillion event is on another day)

Honey Lemon 19 (Her BD in on May 5)

Tadashi 19 (He graduated Highschool at 17 and entered SFIT on an EXPO, his BD was on January 2. And in case you're all wondering... in this fanfic Tadashi is 100% dead. I'm sorry but I already decided that the moment I wrote Ch 1)

Elsa 21 (Her BD is on December 12. You thought I forgot about her? Well no, she's in this fanfic but... She will appeared in the events of Season 2)
