Over the years, Coulson has raised Peter the way he hoped his parents wanted him raised. His love for science obviously came from them, and he looked like his mother a lot and his selflessness coming from his father.
After he could walk, Natasha secretly started teaching him self defense to keep him safe. At the age of 5, Clint started teaching him archery and treated him as if he was one of his own kids and now he could hit a target from afar. Even introduced him to his family on the farm.
At the age of 7, his powers showed themselves and Peter became incredibly stronger, more flexible, superhuman speed, reflexes durability, stick to objects and a sixth sense.
After this, Fury allowed Peter to go on reconnaissance missions as long as he stayed safe.
After a few years, his newest assignment was to go with Coulson to check on an 084 that showed up in New Mexico.
On their way to New Mexico to look into the O84. Since Coulson doesn't trust anyone to look after Peter beside himself, especially since Fury blatantly stated to everyone that questions why the kid is around. Fury also got some scientists to make him his own personal suit for when he uses his powers.
Coulson looks at the passenger seat and sees Peter asleep wearing his sunglasses with his head against the window. Coulson finds him adorable wearing them as they pull up to a gas station and Peter wakes up.
"Come on, I know you're starving with your metabolism. Let's get you something to eat." Coulson said as he unbuckled and got out.
Peter steps out of the car and Coulson starts the gas valve as they enter the store. They see there's only one woman working at the counter who gave Peter a wave that he returned and they move on getting some food.
Coulson moves to the small packets of donuts and can't decide on either chocolate covered or powered.
Peter's six sense goes off and he sees 2 men enter. "Hands in the air!" One of them says.
Coulson moves Peter out of the line of their sight. They look through the mirror above them and see they have guns.
"Who else is here? Who owned the car outside?" The other man asks as Coulson leans close to Peter.
"Time for some Bait and Punch like aunt Nat taught you." Clint tells him and Peter nods, understanding what he's saying as Coulson stands up to cause a distraction. "That would be me. But it's more like a lease." Coulson states as one of the men point a gun at him.
"Toss the keys over here, come on." The man says and Coulson passes the keys.
Peter is hiding behind a aisle and pulls his web shooters from his selves and waits for his moment to strike.
"Empty the cash register, fill these bags, now." The man says and the woman obliges.
"Excuse me! I also have this gun. You'll probably need that." Coulson says and they aim at him again.
"Drop it!" "Put it down!" They yell at him.
"Okay. Don't want any trouble." Coulson states.
"Toss it over here then." The robber says and Coulson.
"I'd prefer not to throw it, risking it going off." Coulson states. "Maybe I could slide it over."
"Yeah, slide it over to my feet, don't try anything funny." He tells Coulson.
"I'm just gonna move over to next aisle." Coulson tells him as he moves over. "Then I'm gonna slide it over to you."
And as he does so, Peter webs up the second robbers gun and pulls it away from him. Coulson grabs a pack of flower and throws it at his face and Peter knocks him out. Coulson runs up to the second guy and knees him in the face. Coulson takes his keys back.
"You okay, kid?" Coulson asks Peter as he looked over him for any injuries.
"Come on. They're amateurs." Peter says with a scoff.
Coulson smiles and they grab their food. "Sorry for the mess." He tells the woman as he places the food on the counter. "I couldn't decide." He explained the two packs of donuts. He also leaves a 50 bill on the counter to make up for the mess. "Keep the change."
"Wait. What should I tell the police?" She asks them.
"Tell them those tyboo-tapes paid off." Coulson tells her as they leave.
They walk to the car and Peter gets in as Coulson pays the gas and notices the price. "Price -72.18. Gallon-18" Coulson can't believe the prices out here and pays and then they drive off to the 084.
Once they made it, they saw the 084 was some sort of hammer that the locals were trying to move, but none were able to do so.
Coulson then took out his phone and made a quick call to Fury. "Sir, we found it."
After getting the area cleared, the rest of S.H.I.E.L.D. came in and created a perimeter around it.
"Found anything useful?" Coulson asked as Peter was looking over the signatures they've gotten from it.
"Nah, it's weird." Peter commented. "But on an unrelated note, is Sitwell staring at me?"
Coulson turned around and saw that Sitwell was indeed doing so from behind him. "Yes, he is."
"Tell him I'll check his browser history if he keeps it up." Peter asked of Coulson while he was still looking over the hammer info.
Coulson couldn't help but snicker as he turned back to a very scared Sitwell. "You heard him."
Sitwell then turned away and left him be.
"But there is this group that seems to have something that'll help." Peter said. "A Dr. Jane Foster and her group have been studying the the atmosphere in this area. Do me a favor, go stop by there and pick up some of their research."
"Got it." Coulson said as Peter handed him the address and took some guys to go get it.
"And maybe give them a little something for their troubles." Peter asked, knowing they're not gonna be happy about a group of government agents taking their stuff.
"Sure thing, kid." Coulson said as he left as Sitwell was still watching him.
"I can start pulling up the history in my spare time." Peter dared Sitwell who immediately stopped and turned away.
That night, Peter and Coulson approached the hammer as it's deemed to not be radioactive or dangerous.
"Best that we've been able to tell, its extremely powerful. And definitely not from around here." Peter informed Coulson. "That thing makes Captain America's vibranium shield look like tinfoil."
"Hey, don't go mocking the Cap." Coulson warned Peter.
Peter looked at his uncle and was very confused about his obsession with Captain America. Honestly, one of the occurring jokes from Peter and Clint is that he only agreed to look after Peter was because he himself was a super soldier.
The other joke/theory is Coulson's gay.
"You know, if it weren't for the thing with you and Melinda, I'd have some theories about you." Peter informed him before turning back to the hammer. "Either way, electromagnetic, neutron, vita radiations, all of them are going off the charts. Nobody here can even lift it. I mean, when I gave it a go, it tugged, but it shakes only a little bit. Can't lift it."
"Go back to the charts, I'll report this in to Fury." Coulson said and Peter did just that.
He went walking down the halls when he noticed several unconscious soldiers. Quickly, he grabbed the radio on his side and contacted the others.
"We've got a man down at the perimeter fence." Peter said as the alarms started blaring.
"Pete, talk to me." Coulson asked through the radio.
"We have a perimeter breach, multiple agents down." Peter reported when his senses went off and he turned to see several agents being taken down in the tube and seeing the intruder. "Wait, I have a visual."
The intruder being none other than the God of Thunder himself, Thor Odinson.
"He's a Caucasian male, I'd have to guess mid twenties with..." Peter was describing Thor to him when he turned and got a good look as lightning struck and he had a good look at his face. "Woah. Really great hair."
Coulson and Clint looked at one another after hearing that and needed a double take.
"Repeat that last part, please." Coulson asked of him.
"You heard what I said." Peter promised. "It's an accurate description of him."
Clint couldn't help but burst out into a laugh. "I think we were onto something with your predicament." Clint stated, thinking everything Coulson's done to admire Captain America might've rubbed off on Peter.
"Get up there." Coulson demanded Clint who got onto the conveyer and brought his bow and arrow up with him. "Kid, stay back."
"Come on, Coulson. I can take this guy." Peter wined like the kid that he is.
"Whoa, kid's right about the hair." Clint commented as he got a good look on the intruder who was tearing apart the facility. "Better call it, Coulson." He stated as Thor made it towards the hammer. "Better call it, Coulson, 'cause I'm starting to root for this guy."
"Hold on, I wanna see this." Coulson said, wanting to see how this plays out.
But as he tried to lift it, Thor couldn't lift the hammer and let out an ear piercing scream.
"Wow, heard that from over here. But I have super hearing." Peter commented.
"Okay, shows over." Coulson said as Thor was arrested.
Coulson tried to have a talk with him but got nothing from him. When he came out of the cell, Peter was watching and saw how sad the man was.
"Doesn't strike me as the mercenaries type." Peter commented.
"What does he strike you as?" Coulson asked.
"The type of guy who was just beaten down by his father." Peter explains and looked over to Coulson. "That's the face I had when you yelled at me for getting bored at the HUB."
"Yeah, Hand's still upset about that." Coulson informed him when he got a text from Fury.
"Nah, she loves me. She'll get over it." Peter promised.
"Well, you can see if she's over it right now." Coulson said. "Fury wants you to meet him at the Hub, apparently he's busy in Puerto Rico but will meet you there."
"Fine, I'll get ready to head out." Peter supposed and walked off as Coulson went back into the cell.
"Goodbye." Thor said out fo the blue (at least to their eyes).
"Goodbye? I just got back." Coulson stated.
