Hours later, Vince was in the gorilla position getting runs to the show along with Caroline Orton. WWE Payback opens with a "Chicago gangster" themed video. After the video, a live shot inside the Allstate Arena, as the pyro goes off. Michael Cole welcomes the fans who are watching at home on the WWE Network. JBL and Jerry "The King" Lawler join him.
We go to the ring, and out first comes The Miz tonight's triple threat match for the WWE Intercontinental title match. He makes his way to the ring followed by Paul Heyman and Curtis Axel. The WWE Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett is out last. He makes his way to the ring and then enters it.
Sophia says, "I hope Miz wins this match."
"Me too Sofia," Khloe, said as they watched the match.
The bell sound and here we go, and there were a lot of actions in the match. Barrett goes for The Wasteland but Axel blocks him off and nails a Perfectplex for a very close two count but Miz breaks it up. Miz and Axel go at it now. Miz nails the Skull-Crushing Finale, but Barrett comes from behind and then tosses Miz out of the ring and tries to steal the pin. Miz pulls Barrett to the floor. Miz goes back in and covers Axel for two counts. Miz with knees in the corner and then he hits a running clothesline and goes for the figure four. Axel kicks Miz into Barrett. Miz goes for the figure four on Barrett as Axel gets dumped to the floor. Miz locks it in on Barrett. Barrett reaches for the ropes but Miz pulls him back. Axel sneaks in and pins Barrett while he's in figure four.
"Aw, that's stink, Miz doesn't win," Sophia said.
After the match, Axel and Heyman celebrate, as Axel hits the ring and is cheered as he raises the Intercontinental title and looks up to the sky. A fitting with for Father's Day Axel and Heyman pose with the title and get cheered on all sides of the arena. Axel looks back up to the sky and kisses the belt. They see a promo for Mark Henry's return on Monday's RAW.
Backstage are Heyman and Axel celebrating when Cena walks up and stare at him. Vince McMahon walks up. He remained his son in law that he defending the WWE title. Cena said, "You're right pop." Heyman and Axel walk off.
Vince said, "Are you ready to destroy Ryback?"
Cena said, "Absolutely he is going to pay for mention my kids and Stephanie."
Back to the ring, we go, and our first comes WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn, as she made her way to the ring and footage of Big E Langston being revealed as her secret admirer on RAW. After the video out next comes AJ Lee with Langston. The bell sound and here we go. There was a lot of actions throughout the match until AJ Lee applies the Black Widow. This time Kaitlyn goes down and fights back up. She tries to break the gold but AJ tightens it. Kaitlyn taps out. After the match, AJ celebrates and leaves with Big E Langston. Kaitlyn sits up in the ring and starts crying. A huge "you tapped out" chant breaks out before Kaitlyn makes her way to the back. She stops and starts crying again before going down to her knee on the entranceway as fans boo her. Layla appears and starts crying with her, hugging her. The fans boo them both.
"Wow talks about lack of respect," Khloe said.
We go to the replays and after video Layla, Alicia Fox, and Natalya, tries to console Kaitlyn backstage but she walks off crying. We go to Josh Mathews, Big Show, R-Truth, and, Cody Rhodes. They talk about what happened so far. Mathews leads us to another promo for the Wyatt Family. We back to the ring and out first comes Kane, for the next match. WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose comes through the crowd with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, but he's the only one to come to the ring.
The bell sound and here we go. There were a lot of actions throughout the match, unit the match end on the floor where Kane taking apart the Spanish announce table. Kane goes for the chokeslam but Ambrose DDT's him on the floor. Ambrose rolls back in the ring as the referee counts Kane out.
WWE announced that Rob Van Dam will return at Money in the bank. Back to the ring out first comes Alberto Del Rio with Ricardo Rodriguez. The World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler is out next wit AJ Lee and Big E Langston. Lilian Garcia does the formal ring introduction with Ricardo. The match starts backstage Randy, John and Stephanie were in the locker room watching the match. They saw a lot of action in the match, until Ziggler nails Del Rio and hits the Zig-Zag for a big pop. Del Ro nails another kick to the back of the head and he covers Ziggler for the win. They watched Del Rio celebrates with Ricardo.
After a "don't try this at home" video, we go back to Josh Mathews, and the preshow team as they discussed what happened so far. We go back to Del Rio on the stage. He's asking the fans to give it up for the new World Heavyweight Champion but gets a very mixed reaction. We get a promo for CM Punk's return match. After the video, back to the ring as out first come to Chris Jericho to a mixed reaction. Fans chant for CM Punk. Cult of Personality hits then outcome CM Punk to a huge pop. Paul Heyman is right behind him. The music stops and Chicago chants Punk's name.
The bell sounded and here we go, as Stephanie, and John watched with the match together. There was a lot of actions throughout the match, until Punk nails GTS, sending Jericho into the corner. Punk nails another GTS, and then covers him for the win. After the match, Punk gets to his knees as the fans cheer. Heyman comes in and they talk. Punk looks a bit annoyed and says something back. Heyman looks a bit caught off guard by what Punk said. Heyman applauds Punk as he goes to the corner to pose for the fans.
Back to the ring and out first come WWE Tag team Champions Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. Randy Orton is out next and Daniel Bryan comes out last to a big pop. The bell sounded and here we go.
"Man I feel bad for Randy teaming with Bryan," John said
"Me too, Bryan is annoying," Stephanie said, as John warms up again because of the tag team match is his three-stage of hell.
Stephanie looked up at the TV and saw what was going on in the match, Reigns goes for a spear but Orton tries to RKO him. It's blocked and Reigns spears Bryan instead. Orton gets taken out after hitting an RKO on Reigns. Rollins hits his finisher on Bryan and then covers him for the win. Video for the main event happens as John and Stephanie left the locker room and walk through the backstage area to the gorilla position.
After the video, we go to the ring as Justin Roberts explains the rules for the three-stage of hell. Lumberjacks start coming out to surround the ring. The Lumberjacks are in place and out first comes Ryback to boo. He makes his way to the ring. WWE Champion John Cena's music hits and out he comes with Stephanie to stage. They make their way to the ringside. John takes off his cap and hands it to a young fan in the first row. He then took off his t-shirt and then hand it another young fan, and then he takes off his dog tags and kisses them. He put them around Stephanie's neck and kissed her as the fans cheer.
"I love you and be careful," Stephanie said softly to him.
"I will baby. I love you too," John said, as she walks back up the aisle way and then the ramp to the back.
John climbs into the ring. They lock up and Ryback goes to work on Cena in the corner. Ryback with a bunch of stomps as the referee pulls him away. Cena comes back swinging but Ryback blocks the bulldog with a big slam for a two count. Ryback beats Cena around some more. Ryback with another big slam
Ryback charges in the corner but misses and hits the ringpost. Cena with a fisherman suplex, and then a slam. Cena drops an elbow on Ryback. Ryback tosses Cena out of the ring and then he comes back in before the lumberjack can make him. Ryback clothesline Cena as Lumberjacks argues. Ryback drops on Cena again and covers for another two counts.
Ryback keeps control and then drops Cena on his neck and then covers him for another two counts. Ryback tosses Cena out to the ring again, but Orton and others keep the heel lumberjacks away from Cena as he recovers and then he gets back in. Ryback with another two counts. Ryback with a suplex and then yells at the crowd who are boos him. Ryback throws Cena back to the floor but Cena gets up and climbs back into the ring. Ryback with more stomps on Cena, the fans for Cena, and Cena tosses Ryback to the floor and the lumberjacks attack him and work him over before rolling him back in. Cena unloads on Ryback with some wrestling moves.
Cena drops a knee on Ryback and then goes for the five knuckles shuffle but Ryback blocks it. Ryback presses Cena out on top of a bunch of Lumberjack. Cena gets tossed back in. Ryback gets dumped out again. He shoves Cesaro and then the Lumberjacks jump on him a huge brawl out with everyone. Cena goes to the top and leaps off the top onto the lumberjacks and Ryback. Cena and Ryback are both roll back into the ring. Cena locks in the STF Ryback fights out and then hits Shell-shocked to win the first stage.
The lumberjacks leave and Randy leaves toward Cena and whisper to him. He then left as Cena try to recover. Ryback with a big shoulder thrust in the corner as the bell rings. Ryback goes under the ring and brings a table into the ring. Ryback sets the table up. Ryback goes for a powerbomb through the table, but Cena slides out, and Cena goes forth Attitude Adjustment but its blocked. Ryback takes Cena down with a bog shoulder. The crowd chants Goldberg as Ryback sets the table back up. Ryback presses Cena high but he slides out and goes for another AA. Ryback flips the table over but Cena sends him out to the floor. Ryback sends Cena flying into the steel steps.
Ryback has a table propped up in the corner and tosses half of the steps into the ring. He rolls Cena in and follows. Ryback grabs the steps and deck Cena in the face with them. Cena gets up in front of the table as Ryback waits. Ryback throws the steps but Cena moves and the steps crash through the table. Cena with a belly-to-belly suplex. Cena grabs the steps and lays Ryback out with a shot to the head.
Cena brings a table in the ring now. Cena sets it up but turns around to steps shot to the head. Cena falls on the table. Ryback throws the steps again but Cena moves off the table and the steps to go through the table again. Ryback tosses steel steps but Cena ducks. Cena comes back with a shoulder and a big slam. Cena hits the five -knuckle shuffle. Ryback blocks the AA and nails a spinebuster. Ryback hits the meathook and brings another table in the ring.
Ryback sets the table up and goes for the shell-shocked through it. Cena blocks and sends Ryback through the table with the AA. Cena tied up. Ryback immediately goes to work stomping on Cena. Ryback tosses him to the floor and takes apart the announce table. Ryback bends down and talks trash to Cena. Ryback brings Cena back in the ring and works him over in the corner. The bell just now sounds and the third stage is officially underway. The lights on the ambulance are flashing beside the entrance. Ryback carries Cena to the ambulance. Cena slides out and shoves Ryback into the back of the doors.
Cena opens a door on the ambulance and pulls out a bunch of crutches. Ryback cuts him out with a kick. Ryback swings, Cena ducks and Ryback's hand goes through a passenger door window of the ambulance. Cena with a crutch shot to the gut.
"Don't ever again mention my family," Cena said, with a shot. Ryback fights him off. Cena scoops Ryback and slams him into the side of the ambulance.
Cena whips Ryback into an open door and it comes off the hinges. Can grab the door and rams it into Ryback's head. Cena tries to put Ryback in the front seat but Ryback fights him off with a headbutt. Ryback throws Cena onto the hood of the ambulance and he rolls off. Ryback rips a panel off the front of the ambulance and beats Cena with it. Ryback goes to powerbomb Cena through the windshield, but Cena backdrops him onto the hood.
Cena climbs on top of the ambulance and Ryback follows him. Cena grabs the lights and smacks Ryback with it, sending him to the floor. Cena is still on top of the ambulance, as Ryback gets up and grabs a crutch and climbs up. Cena grabs it and they fight on top of the ambulance. Cena bends the crutch over Ryback's back. Cena hits an AA on top of the ambulance and Ryback landing in the back of the ambulance for the win. After the match, Cena poses on top of the ambulance as his music hits. Cena climbs down and there's still no sign of Ryback.
The referee hands him the title and Cena goes to the stage, as Stephanie comes out behind him and touches his shoulder and he turns to her and they hug. The ambulance sirens start-up as John and Stephanie hugging on the stage. The ambulance drives away with Ryback in the back of the ambulance. They pulled back and Stephanie raise her husband's hand and he holds up the title as Payback goes off the air with John and Stephanie on the stage.
