Stephanie walks into WWE Headquarters, heads to the top, where her office and Vince are offices. As she walks down the hallway, enter her office, put her things down, walk back out of her office, and head for Vince's office. She knocks on the open door, and Vince looks over to see who was knocking on his office door. And he smiles when he saw his daughter.
"Good Morning Vince!"
"Good morning, Stephanie!" Vince said with a smile.
"May I come?" she asked.
"Come in, Steph. What's up?" he replied as she was walking to the office and close the door behind her.
She cleared her throat and said, "Um… dad, I was talking to Natalya this past Monday night, and she told me something interesting."
"Okay, is everything okay with her."
"Yes, everything is fine with her, but she mentioned something to me that got me thinking."
"Okay, what is it?"
"She told me that she is not related to the Hart family."
Vince looks at her said, "What?"
"I was shocked to Dad and then she said to me, she thinks that she could be my little sister. It can't be possible right?"
"I honestly don't know, Steph. I mean, I have noticed some resemblance to your mother."
"Wow. I mean, I thought it was just me who noticed the resemblance."
"Nope, I noticed it, but I never questioned her."
"I have been protective of her when she was backstage."
Vince smile
"She suggests that she and I take a DNA test."
"Okay, so when is the DNA test happening?"
"Next month when RAW is in Brooklyn. I was thinking on I invited her and her boyfriend Mike Mizanin to spend the weekend with John, kids, and me."
"Sound good"
"Are you going to tell mom?"
"Yes, but I need to be careful."
"Okay. Is it because mom might get depressed again?"
"Yes, it is a sensitive subject for her, and I do not blame her. She took the news that baby girl passed away hard."
"I would take that news hard to dad. I mean, mom felt the baby moving around inside of her and gave birth to a healthy baby girl. You and mom were told that baby girl passed away."
"Yeah, and the grief was hard too, and it had an effect on my marriage and caused me to cheat on your mother, which I regret so much."
Stephanie could see the hurt in her dad's eyes as he spoke about the grief that he and Linda went through thirty-one years ago. He still regrets to this day the bad choices he made all those years ago.
"Dad, you and mom are in a good place now, and I am very thankful to you when you and I were feuding back into 2003, and you chose not to not a cheating storyline."
Vince smile and said, "I couldn't do it, honey."
"I know, dad. I have a suggestion for you about when you tell mom."
"I am listening."
"Buy mom flowers."
Vince smile and said, "I will."
Hours later, Vince walked into his home with a bouquet for Linda. He smelled a wonderful aroma coming from the kitchen, which meant that Linda was cooking dinner. He walks toward the kitchen and then enters. Linda looks up when she heard footsteps and saw her husband there was a bouquet for her.
Hi, there, honey," he said, walking over to her and kissing her.
"Hi," she said with a smile.
"These are for you," he said, handing her the flowers.
She smells them and said, "What the occasion."
He smiled and said, "I never need an occasion to buy my beautiful wife the mother of my children flowers."
She smiled at him and said, "True."
"I spoke with Stephanie today, and she told me something interesting."
"Oh really," she said, placing her flowers in some water.
"Yes," he said.
"What did she tell you? That is so interesting?" She asked
"Well, one of the female wrestlers approaching her on Monday and told her that her parents are not her biological parents."
Linda looked at him and said, "Okay, but why tells Stephanie that."
"Well, this female wrestler thinks she might be related to Stephanie."
He watched Linda's face change and said, "Vince."
"I know, honey; I am trying not to get my hope up."
"Can't be Vince. We saw the baby."
"Linda, but" she held up her hand to stop him.
"No, Vincent. We are not doing this," she said, walking out of the kitchen. Vince sighs.
Stephanie was in her office home when she picked up her cellphone and called Nattie and wait and then she heard Nattie's voice.
"Hi Steph"
"Hi, Nattie, how are you doing?" she asked
"I am good. How are you doing this evening," she replied.
"I am good. Um, the reason I call you is to invited you and Mike to stay with John, me, and my kids the weekend that RAW in Brooklyn."
"We loved to Steph spending time with you and your family."
"Great, I will have my limo pick you up from the airport on Friday; how that."
"Perfect, Steph. I will text you the time Mike and I will be arriving in Connecticut."
"Wonderful, Nattie, then I can tell my chauffer Alan what time to be at the airport."
Back at the McMahon house, Linda was upstairs in their bedroom thinking about what Vince had just told her, that their daughter might be alive.
"Could our daughter be alive?" She thought to herself.
She thought of all the possibilities of her daughter being alive. She wants to believe what Vince was telling her, but she didn't want to get her hopes up and then have them dashed when it turned out that female wrestlers weren't her daughter.
