Two strangers

'Hey there stranger...' her voice was sweet and a bit dizzy from the wine. She was completely lost into his eyes. He was so powerful and handsome unlike anyone she met before. Who was he?

'Hey, little one...' oh and that voice. Yes, Persephone was certain he was the kind of man she should avoid. The kind her mother hated and probably Aphrodite loved.

'Li-ttttleeee one?! Ha! I am not that young! I am tired of being considered the kid! I might be even older than you!' she said as she pointed her finger on his chest. Of course she knew the chance of him being younger were sooo small. Only if he was a dryad. But he didn't have that aura. He was certainly a God. She could feel that. She was actually drawn to his power, just like she was drawn in that room before.

He started laughing ' I am completely certain that I am older than you, little one.' He said with a smile on his face 'But, if it makes you feel any better, I do not consider you a ''kid''. My thoughts are far from innocent when I look at you…' he gently took the hand that was pointing on his chest into his own

Persephone started to realize just how close the two of them were standing. She was blushing.

'Oh, you're just like the other Gods…my mother warned me about this…ugh…I hate when she is right' she took a step away and tried to remove her hand from his.

'Beg your pardon? ''Just like the other Gods''?! You hurt me little one…after all you are the one who fell into my arms' he pulled her closer and whispered into her ear 'I am not my brothers.'

Persephone was waiting for something entirely different to happen when he grabbed her. Instead, he quickly released her. She was happy the he respected her wish but also a bit disappointed.

'Ouch!' her head was hurting. As Hades was looking at the source of her pain, they could hear footsteps coming.

'These parties are getting wilder…I tell I've never seen Zeus in such a bad mood'

'I know! Ugh…I wonder how will he handle this situation? The Fates were really scary!'

There were two nymphs gossiping about the night's event. Hades didn't want to draw more attention and neither did Persephone. She grabbed his hand and they both started to run towards the East Garden. It was the most quite one. When they reached it Pesephone was out of breath.

'H-How comes…You aren't…tired?'

'I assume you didn't have wine before. Spiked one. That is the source of your head pain. It reduces your strength. But don't worry, you will fully recover in two days'

'Two days? Oh…I am so dead…' she sighed as she sat on the grass

'Well maybe you'll have great company down there. The Underworld, as far as I heard, is a magnificent place' he also sat beside her

'Wow…that is your idea of comforting me?' she raised her eyebrows looking at him

Hades found himself smiling again. There was something about her that was so intriguing. Her eyes, her voice, the way her hair was falling on her shoulders, but most of all her smile. She had the most beautiful smile he has ever seen.

'You are right. The Underworld is not such a good idea.' He sounded almost sad

Persephone started looking at him. He was different. Just like before she could feel his powers. She wasn't sure if he could feel the same. She got closer to him. She put her hand on his face and stared into his eyes again.

Hades wasn't sure what to do. He didn't know who she was and the effect of the wine was slowly drifting off bringing him back to his senses. He didn't want to do anything that she would regret in the morning. But then he heard:

'You are not like them...' as she smiled

That was all he needed. He gently caressed her face bringing her even closer. He grabbed her waist feeling her quick heartbeat. He slowly kissed her forhead, her cheeks, her neck reaching her lips. Persephone was lost into his arms. She closed the gap between them. It was a sweet and almost innocent kiss. She could feel Hades smiling. But their moment was short lived.

'PERSEPHONEEEEEE! WHERE ARE YOOOOOOU?' Hermes was looking for her

Scared she got back on her feet looking at the man in front of her

'Sorry! I have to go!'

'Wait! Where can I find you? What is your name?' Hades didn't want to lose her. She wasn't a night distraction. He wanted to know more about her

'Ughh…..I really have to go! Sorry!' she started running towards the voice that was calling her

A still dizzy Hades could only hear ' Ephoneee'

'Where were you?!' Hermes was mad 'I LOOKED ALL OVER FOR YOU! We have to go! NOW!'

'Sorry…I got a bit distracted….' She couldn't look him in the eye.

'The good thing is that you are safe…what a night…come on let's get you home before Demeter finds out'

And so the two rushed to get back on Demeter's land leaving a very confused Hades in the East Garden.

Happy New Year everyoneee! Sorry for the late update but here we go: the two finally meet and enjoy the romance because it will be gone for a while.
