WWE Monday Night RAW was in Austin, Texas, some of the wrestlers and other personnel were in the Arena when Mike and Nattie arrived, and they searched for the McMahon. Mike stops to talk to someone, and Nattie continues to walk through the Arena, looking for her family. She spots her mom and walks over to her. Linda saw her daughter coming toward her and excused herself from her conversation with one of the crewmembers.

"Hey, sweetie," she said with a smile.

"Hi, mom," she said

"Hey, what's wrong?" she asked

"Is there somewhere we can talk?"

"Yes," she said, taking her hand and leading her to Vince's office and going inside to find her taking on his phone. He smiled when he saw his daughter with Linda.

"What's happened?" she asked.

"Well, I confronted them, and they tried to come up with some story, but I was not buying their story."

"That's good."

"And then it turns heated between them and me."

"How?"

"When I cursed, he tried to tell me to watch my tone, and I told him he was not my daughter. And he said I raised you, not Vince McMahon. So I told him my parents did not get the chance to raise me because some deranged woman kidnapped me and gave me to you."

Vince smiled at Nattie, took after him, and said, "Well, take after me, Nattie."

Nattie chuckled and said, "Yes, I take after you in the feisty department. Everything else belongs to my mother here."

"Vince smiled and said, "Yes, you do…."

"Anything else happen honey with them?"

"Yes, they got mad when I said Mike is my fiancé, and Jim said I did not give my permission. Mike told him I did not need your permission. So I asked her biological Father, Vincent Kennedy McMahon, and he gave me his and Linda's blessing to pop the question."

"They shouldn't have got mad seeing that I am your father, and it is my right as your father to give my and mother permission to Mike."

"I know, dad, but remember who we are dealing with here."

Vince thought about what Nattie said to him, saying, "You're a right princess."

"Um, mom, do you know any real estate agent in Connecticut so that Mike and I can purchase there."

"Yes, I know a perfect estate agent in Connecticut, but your dad and I will purchase your and Mike's house as one of many wedding presents."

Nattie smiled and said, "Thank you, mom."

"You're welcome, honey," she hugged her daughter.

"And when you and Mike set a date for your wedding, your mom and I will pay for it, too," he said, standing up and walking toward them.

"Thank you, dad," she said, hugging him next

"You're welcome, princess."

Hours later, "Monday Night RAW" began with highlights of John Cena picking Daniel Bryan as his SummerSlam opponent. A live shot inside the Arena as the lights were out and a drumroll plats. Brad Maddox is in the ring to welcome the fans to Monday Night RAW. A table was set up in the ring, and Maddox announced that RAW would kick off with a contract signing for the SummerSlam Main Event.

Cena's music hits first, and he comes to hold up the titles to some boos and cheers and makes his way to the ring. He enters the ring and takes a seat at the table that is set up. Maddox asks why Cena chose Daniel Bryan when he could have chosen any wrestler on the active rosters.

Cena looked at him and said, "Two reasons. One reason is he chose Bryan because of you, Maddox. And, the second reason is that Bryan has been disrespectful to my wife, Stephanie McMahon Cena, and I do not go for that period."

Cena says, "Maddox gave him a choice, and the crowd wanted Bryan, so that's why he chose him."

Maddox said. "That may be because Cena only chose Bryan because he knows he can beat him."

Maddox tosses a few more accusations out about Bryan but then seems to lose his place. Cena tries to help him recover as Bryan's music hits. Bryan comes out and makes his way to the ring amidst the crowd's cheers. Bryan enters the ring and picks up the mic. He said, "That the crowd disagrees with Maddox."

Brad asks Bryan why he thinks he was chosen. Cena doesn't let him answer and instead gets to his feet. Cena is mad, and backstage, Stephanie knows her husband's anger is slowly rising inside him where that beast will be unleashed.

Cena said, "If the size is determined, Maddox should hand the belt to The Great Khali." Cena tosses the belt toward Maddox.

Cena turns to Bryan and says, "That they received the title opportunity because of Maddox and how you have been disrespectful toward my wife, Stephanie McMahon Cena, the CEO of the WWE."

Cena said, "We don't know if Bryan would have been in this match if he didn't pick him, but that doesn't matter because he is in the match. He is not just going to hand the title over to Bryan. He is going to fight with everything he has. I forgot how good Bryan might be, and the best won't be enough."

Bryan stares at John Cena and starts to talk, but Maddox interrupts and announces that the match is official. Bryan tells him not to interrupt. Maddox wants to know if Bryan wants to compete in the match. Maddox will give Bryan a match on RAW to prove to his detractions that he has what it takes. She, too, takes offense to Maddox's accusation against her husband.
