It wasn't supposed to be. Even, that shouldn't have happened. But after an investigation, which doesn't go as planned, Motoko must suddenly take care about a child and has no clues what to do and how. (Hiatus - don't know when ideas will came back... sorry)

3. Hiatus

This is not a chapter, it just a note to notify readers who follow this fanfic. First, thank you so much for your kind reviews even if I'm an ESL writer. I admit my English improve a lot since the first time I published this fanfic (6 years ago, eh!)

I took a big break of writing fanfics, for personal reason and also because I didn't have any energy for. I still love Ghost in the Shell, but I admit the more the time pass, the less I have specific ideas for this fanfic – my basic ideas are not what they were anymore. I must confess I don't have any original ideas to continue this fanfic, so I put it on hiatus, in the hope that one day, I might be able to continue it. Maybe in a few years, I will be able to unblock this writer block… I don't have the intention to delete it, tho', if it can reassure you all :)

But I do think it was at least some respect to notify you about the fate of this fanfic.

For now, I took back the writing of fanfictions, but in an obscure fandom called "Seirei no Moribito". My Ao3 – Archive Of Our Own – is only for my English translated writing, and my account here is for mainly my french's.
