Hey just a nice little one-shot as everyone waits for next chapters to release for other stories.
This started out as one thing and bled into another as I went. Hope ya'll like it.
Not proof read and done in one sitting so...be warned.
Enjoy!
Everyone always assumed things were all rainbows and sunshine and roses when it came to being monarch. Everyone assumed you had it all and never wanted for anything, that you snapped your fingers and it would be there and it would be yours. That being King or Queen was such a glamorous thing with no stress or worry.
They were wrong.
Being in charge of everything and everyone was tiresome and stressful. You feared for your life every second, because you could not please everyone's needs and desires. It was simply impossible.
How many times did a monarch have to condemn a small village just to ensure others did not get pulled down with them. How many times a sovereign had to have one person killed just to keep the peace between other more influential people?
Everyday there were choices with dire consequences. It wasn't for everyone and usually it drives most royalties mad. Only a handful lived long enough not to be slain or deemed a monster.
Even the most innocent looking monarch, the one waving to you and smiling with such a peaceful look on their face can be a monster behind closed doors or a nervous wreck seconds away from making a rash decision.
Even the most optimistic royal turns paranoid after a few years. Even the most calm and level headed can turn irrational and prone to anger fits. Even the most intellectual can turn idiotic.
She tried to keep her own darkness at bay. She tried so hard, but she could feel herself slipping. How had her parents made this seem so easy? How had the years before this seemed so carefree?
Now as she sat on the throne, Queen for merely a decade now, she felt constantly on edge. Like her life was always on the line, like there could be an assassin or a mob just waiting to take her life.
She found it confusing and infuriating that everyone else seemed so happy and worriless while she had a tight grip on both the thrones armrest and her knee. She tried to relax her jaw and lessen the intense gaze in her eyes.
She scanned the room. Big and busy. A ball she was told would raise morale amongst her nobles and merchants and visiting dignitaries. She did feel a little safer with her guard standing close to her. Ones' she picked out herself and knew she could trust.
Everyone seemed happy and jovial. Like there were no cares in the world and like some of the outer reaches of the kingdoms villages weren't struggling with this winter. Like only she was aware of the constant suffering and growing anger amongst the common folk.
She needed to forget the everyday' fears and worries, she needed to distract herself. For once she wanted to not worry, not be aware of everything. She wished to be ignorant.
Like her handmaiden could read her thoughts she handed her a glass of wine. Rich and dark red like blood. Only she would be privy to this delicacy. She was Queen and this was from her private stock. Only her family had ever been allowed to taste and produce this particular blend.
Halfway with her drink she looked over to her maid. A young thing, no older than she was to be honest. Fiercely loyal which made her heart swell and feel calm. The only ones in her castle she felt safe with were the ones that had been with the family for generations. Knowing all the darkest secrets and desires. And oh did her handmaid know her darkest needs and desires.
Feeling the Queen's eyes on her she nods her head to someone on the floor. The Queen follows her gaze. A cute blonde, standing alone to the side and not engaging with the others. She seemed content with just being on her own.
She knew this girl, the daughter of a very well known traveling merchant. She would do just fine. The Queen nods and the handmaiden disappears into the crowd. She moved with purpose and no hesitation. Some would say she seemed emotionless. Stoic.
The Queen watches as she hands the blond a note and at the tensing of her face, she knew the girl knew what it was about. She opened it slowly and with a noticeable gulp read the note. After some time her shoulders sagged and she looked down as she nodded. The handmaiden returned.
The Queen smiled and finished her drink. The night was still young, there was no rush.
Hours later, when the moon peaked the Queen stood and dismissed the ball as she retired to her room. She hardly made it to the hall outside when the merchant nearly cornered her.
"I beg you my Queen, not my daughter, she is all we have," he nearly shouted. The Queen stared at him with tired eyes. This wasn't new.
"Is that so? Well you will be compensated, but I had made my choice," she said calmly. The man turned red with anger.
"I don't want your money nor anything else you could give me!" He shouted, but the Queen didn't waver.
"Guards," she said and two heavily plated men dragged the man away. She sighed. They always acted as if she was going to murder them. Well, sometimes that wasn't true…
She made her way to her room and undressed out of her ungodly tight dress. Her handmaiden helped and she smiled.
"I do hope she settled in well?" She asked and the maiden nodded. Her expression was blank as always. Her gray eyes staring at nothing.
"Good thank you, you may have the rest of the night off," she purred and the girl curtsied before walking away.
The Queen dressed in her finest sleep wear before pulling a robe over herself. She walked over to a door to the side of her room before taking a deep relaxing breath then entered.
The other room was a decent size, reasonably stocked with clothes and a vanity with all a lady would wish for. In the center was a rather large bed covered in the finest of silk and most comforting of pillows.
Sitting, rather scared looking, was the blond she had requested. She wore a simplistic nightdress that kept her modest. She truly was beautiful and the Queen had to remind herself to give her handmaiden some extra time off for her choice.
"Your majesty," the girl said, a little scared.
"Please, call me Anna," the Queen smiled, showing a fangy smile.
"Will I die?" She asked and the Queen frowned a little as she sat down on the edge of the bed.
"I truly hope you won't," she said softly and the girl audibly gulped as she pulled her legs to her chest.
"May I enquire about the others?" She asked softly. The Queen rubbed her temple.
"Unfortunate accidents most of them, some taking their own lives before I could meet them and some becoming so violent beforehand that my guards had to deal with them, once or twice there had been no accident and we ended up just talking and becoming friends even," Anna explained. She hated that everyone assumed the worst of her.
The girl seemed to relax and looked down in thought. She fidgeted with the braid of her hair and Anna noticed she wasn't exactly blond but rather more a white. It was beautiful and the dark urge inside her seemed to purr.
"Will it hurt?" She asked and Anna smiled softly.
"In the start it will but it won't last long," she said softly.
"Elsa, my name is Elsa," she said after another long silence.
"Elsa, I like that," Anna purred and smiled. A blush covered the girl's face and a pleasant scent started to emanate from her. The Queen's eyes started to dilate as she took in the scent she'd been waiting for.
She knew her mere presence would trigger it in the girl. An Omega could not resist an Alpha ready to sire. Elsa gripped at the chest of her dress as she panted softly, trembling slightly.
"This is…new to me," Elsa said softly and Anna smiled more as she moved closer.
"Good, I'd hate to think you're spoiled," Anna growled softly and Elsa slowly lied down as the monarch moved over her.
"I a…assure you my q…Queen I am not…" Elsa stammered as her breathing quickened even more.
"I said call me Anna," the Queen chuckled as she threw her robe to the floor beside the bed.
"W…what hast thou done to me?" Elsa asked as her skin started to turn red and heated.
"Merely making you go into heat for me," Anna purred as she nuzzled her nose to the girl's neck and took in her scent. It smelled like freshly fallen snow.
Elsa whimpered, unable to stop her own instincts at the hand of the Alpha on top of her. She could tell her no, she could tell her to stop, but she didn't want to. She was already in her late twenties, she was losing her desirability to Alphas with each passing year.
"Anna," she breathed out with so much dripping desire and need the monarch felt herself twitch and nearly drool. She growled and bit the girl's neck making Elsa gasp and arch into her.
Elsa's head swam with lust and the burning sensation she associated with her heat cycle started to make itself known. With a whimper and a silent plea on her lips she felt Anna move her onto her front. Elsa instantly lifted her hips up and presented herself to the Alpha, much to Anna's delight.
The monarch growled and rid them of their clothes, ripping them off so no fabric would get in their way. Skin to skin was a must. Anna feels like this might be the one, the one to accept their coupling and bear her offspring. She was tired of searching.
Elsa let out a whimper as she gripped a pillow to her chest and wiggled her hips. Anna growled and bit Elsa's shoulder as she steadied herself. Both breathed once then twice before a scream ripped through the Omega. Anna kept herself still but bit harder into the skin in her mouth.
Once the pain had subsided and everything turned into pure bliss and relief did Elsa give the clear for Anna to move. The monarch gripped the Omega's hips tightly, nearly drawing blood as her nails dug into her as she rutted into the woman.
No one said mating was a gentle thing. In all honesty it was damn near brutal. Blood was to be expected, soreness and bruises. Elsa's hips surely would have scratch marks and some bruising after. Her shoulders and neck would be bitten to near shreds and she wouldn't be able to use the bathroom comfortably for a few days.
None of this mattered in the moment though as the pure euphoria and bliss from the coupling overrode any concerns. One shouldn't think the Alpha comes out unscathed either. This was merely the start.
At some point during their frantic mating, Elsa was moved onto her back and she was scratching Anna's back to shreds as she screamed and howled. At one point their eyes locked. Anna's glowing a bright teal and Elsa's a bright blue. They could see the animalistic desire burning within.
No one was spared their true nature and even if one of both didn't want this, their nature didn't care. At this moment all they knew to be true was that they had to mate, that that was all that mattered.
Luckily they both seemed to want this. Both for different yet the same reasons. Their circumstances in meeting might not have been ideal and somewhat questionable, but all that mattered was that they needed to do this. No one attended a ball on a full moon without looking to gain something animalistic from it, no one with their kind of affliction that is.
See not all were driven by animal instincts as old as time. They were few and dwindling. Hence the nature of their need to mate. Hence why the Alpha could make an Omega go into heat. While attending the ball their kind were hyper aware of each of them. Among the hundred or so who were there, only around twenty were afflicted. Anna being the only Alpha among them all that was yet not taken. She had around seven Omega's to choose from but Elsa stood out. She was special.
Neither knows how long has passed since they began, but both knew they'd stop before the moon would give way for the sun. Both started panting and grunting as the signs of Anna's end drew near. Elsa could feel the growing swell of her knot forming and it was mere seconds later when she screamed as it was forced inside her.
They were locked together. Their mating was complete. Anna was filling Elsa with her seed and nothing could stop this from happening now. In their unspoken laws they were mated and Elsa could no longer belong to anyone else, not even unafflicted humans. She belonged to Anna now and everyone that was afflicted like them would now know that.
Anna panted and swallowed heavily as her humanity retired to her slowly. She looked down at the panting and sweating Omega under her. Her white soft body littered in bites and scratches. She felt a brief flare of sorrow for hurting her but the beast in her head purred in delight.
They both knew they'd be sore in the morning and that their instincts would probably drive them to do this again the next month if Elsa were not to bear. The thought scared the woman. Alphas have been known to get more and more violent with each try.
Anna lay down on the woman, she couldn't move anyway, they were tied together for the time being. She relished at the softness of Elsa's breasts and the coldness of her body. It was comforting.
The Queen hadn't been this relaxed and carefree in years. Elsa seemed to have a calming effect on her and she enjoyed it. All the worries that plagued her before the ball melted away and all that was left was the Omega under her.
Elsa did have her own relief. She was happy she survived this and that the monarch and Alpha were seemingly pleasantly pleased with her. Maybe this wasn't as life threatening as she feared. Maybe she was one of the lucky ones.
Elsa found herself embracing the redhead on top of her. Nuzzling her head and purring softly. She hasn't purred in years. Both were content and relaxed as they drifted off to some much needed sleep.
