Sorry for the late update guys. I'm having my final exam.
One week had passed after Naruto fought Eto. Throughout those days, a lot of things happened.
Once Naruto left the hospital, he immediately paid his respect to the late Nidaime and Sandaime and told them everything that happened after the Konoha's Invasion. He then told Nidaime how he will avenge his death before Mizuki appeared to pay respect.
As soon as both of them left the graveyard, they were surrounded by Anbu that led by Yugao who was ordered to search for Naruto after he left the hospital. Reluctantly, he and Mizuki went to the hospital so that an angry Tsunade could check his condition before discharge him.
Much to her surprise, all of his wounds had healed. Something that shouldn't happen since it was supposed to take him at least a month to recover from the injuries that he received when he fought Eto.
Flashback
"You are perfectly fine."
Tsunade spoke to Naruto who's sitting beside Mizuki. She then put down her reports that she wrote about Naruto's condition and spoke again to her godson.
"However, you need to eat a lot and I really mean it a lot. I know you love to eat ramen but please other foods too."
"If that's all then I will leave."
Naruto stood up and left the room with Mizuki but Tsunade stopped him by calling him.
"Naruto, I know that I used to neglect you and favor Umi-chan than you but if there is a chance for me to earn your forgiveness. Then, I will do it even if it is the last thing I will do. After all, forgiveness is earn not given."
Naruto looked at Tsunade and for the first time, he smiled at her and said, "You know, Tsunade… I like you. Unlike Minato and his family especially his wife and those three annoying brats, you are not forcing me. Maybe, one day I will look you as my baa-chan but for now you are nothing but a legendary medic-nin."
Flashback End
After that, Naruto then trained himself as well as eating a lot and the result was he is back in his prime, however, he knows that he is still not powerful enough to defeat Eto without relying his Mangyekō Sharingan, let alone Izumi. So, he continued training with Obito and even create several jutsu that mix with his Overdrive and Ninjutsu.
Currently, he is training with Obito in the backyard of Tobirama's house and it's been three hours. As Naruto and Obito trading several fast and powerful punches and kicks, Minato and Kushina arrived at the backyard and greeted Mizuki and Marida who are chatting with each other. They all were interrupted when Naruto fist connected to Obito's, creating a powerful shockwave that they everyone in Konoha could feel.
The training was end when Naruto tripped Obito and delivered an unseen punch to Obito's face but at the last second, he changed the direction, hitting the ground instead which caused an enormous spider-web pattern crack.
Mizuki clapped her hands and offered Naruto a towel and a bottle of water which he accepted and sat beside her. He forgave her after what she did to him but he told her that it will take some time for him to love her like how she loves him.
"You are getting stronger and faster, Naruto. I think you don't need me to train you anymore." Obito said to Naruto. "So, what is your plan now?"
"I honestly don't know. Even though I am in my prime now, I still can't defeat Eto without relying my Mangyekō Sharingan."
Minato interrupted Naruto, "Speaking about that. I am really curious to know what your Mangyekō Sharingan's abilities. What are they?"
Naruto didn't say anything for a while since he really doesn't want to reveal it to Minato or Kushina. He took a deep breath and replied,
"With my left eye, I can swap the location of myself and someone or a thing. As for my right eye, let's just keep it as a secret since I don't fully trust you."
Minato nodded his head at Naruto's reply. He had to admit that it's hurt him when his son said that but Minato won't force it. He won't force his son to trust him. Kushina gently squeezed her husband's shoulder before they heard someone knocked the door.
Kushina went to the door and opened it, surprised to see Mikoto and Fugaku.
"Mikoto? Fugaku? What brings you here?" she asked to her close friend and the most person that her husband trust.
"We came here to visit Naruto." Mikoto replied to Kushina as Fugaku lifted a basket of fresh fruits.
"Ah, please come in. He just finished training with Obito." she replied as she took the basket from Fugaku.
Naruto was enjoying staring at the trees when suddenly he sensed something. He went to the tree where he used to punch it until his fists were bleeding when he was seven and extended his arm forward, causing a small dragon to appear.
"What did you find, Kō?"
"The base is still located at Amegakure, however, it is heavily guarded with powerful Demons and numerous trap that will trigger by the presence of a human were placed all over the building." Kō replied to Naruto. "Naruto, if you are planning to enter the building, stealth is not an option. Raiding it is the best way."
"Did you find Mikhail?"
The dragon replied, "No, but there is a room that I came across that heavily sealed and I couldn't help but to feel that whatever inside that room… It is dangerous and powerful. I also overheard the Ame-nin talking about a blueprint."
Naruto nodded his head as he absorbing all the information before smiled and gave the dragon a candy that made him happy. Before he left, Naruto spoke,
"Before you go back to your home, please tell the head clan of Katagiri that the time has come. Also, inform Ryusetsu that I am going to accept his offer."
The dragon was surprised at his last sentence and vanished in a burst of flame as Mizuki called out for his name. He turned around and surprised when he saw Mikoto who's waving at her and a smiling Fugaku. He went to them and receive a hug from both of them.
"It's been a while Naruto. Look at you, I saw you on that day and you were so skinny but now look at you. Did you eat well? How is your sleep? What happened to you on that day? Why did you disappear? You know, it hurts me when you stopped writing a letter to me." Mikoto asked Naruto with numerous questions that made him sweat dropped and looked at the laughing Fugaku.
Fugaku placed his hand on his shoulder and said, "As long as you are fine then I am not worry but you have to tell us what happened."
"I will tell both of you what happened to me one day but not for now." Naruto replied to Fugaku. "How are you doing? Since you are here, I think I can beat you."
Mikoto giggled and elbowed a nervous Fugaku. Mizuki and Marida laughed at his antic while Obito shaking his head furiously.
As for Minato and Kushina, they couldn't help but felt slightly hurt with the interaction between Naruto and their best friends. They looked at each other and shared the same thought.
If only they didn't neglect Naruto and favor his siblings maybe the interaction between them and their eldest child will be similar or more better than the Uchiha and Naruto.
At the same time
Katagiri's Mansion, Taiyo no Kuni
"Kazuya!! Kazuya!!"
"I am back here, Kazumi-chan!!"
A beautiful woman with dark long wavy hair that tied into ponytail with a phoenix ornament and bangs above her grey eyes rushed to the back of the house as she heard the sound of a metal hitting another metal.
She entered the room and saw her husband, a muscular man with spiky brown hair and dark eyes forging a new katana.
"Naruto sent a message to us!!" the woman in white kimono patterned with black crows, dark obi sash and a pair of wooden sandals spoke to the man who immediately stopped forging the blade and looked at her. "It is time for the Nichirin Katana."
Kazuya, the man with muscular and scarred body and wore only a pair of white pants and bare feet, looked at his wife with a shocking face and grinned madly. Then, "So the time has finally come huh? Kazumi, I need your help. I need you to build a pair of giant cleaves."
Kazumi smiled at her husband, who is the most famous blacksmith, and left the room. Kazuya stared at the blazing metal before threw it away and went to his desk. He pulled the drawer and smiled when he saw several large crimson ore with a blueprint.
"Looks like you are now seriously going to slay every single Demon out there, brat. Heh, I am not surprise because you are after all the Chosen Child."
He picked one of the ore and looked at it, immediately he had an idea what kind of weapon he is going to make for his student.
Time skip
Hokage's Office
"Greetings everyone. I would like to thank you for coming to my office. I will straight to the business since I don't want to waste my and your time."
Minato spoke in a serious tone as he staring at twelve shinobi that standing before him. He then took a deep breath and said,
"As you know, a week ago, Uchiha Izumi declared war against all of us and all of you have been training for the upcoming war. We don't know when will she attack us and we also don't know the amount of her enemies. However, according to the intel that given to me by my son, there is something that powerful and danger that Izumi possesses."
"This mission is an SSS-rank. Failure is not an option."
Everyone gasped at what they heard. This is the first time they ever heard and received an SSS-rank mission. Kakashi broke the silent by asking,
"Sensei, can you please tell us why you chose us?"
But instead of his sensei answering the son of the legendary White Fang of Konoha's question, someone answer it for him.
"I am the one who chose all of you."
They all turned around and surprised to see Naruto, who wore shinobi attire, with Mizuki, Marida and Obito. They entered the room and stood at the corner of the room as the Konoha-nin eyeing them especially Naruto who is in his prime.
"I will explain why I chose all of you. Kakashi, you are specialized in everything and you know more than a thousand jutsu and also you possess the Sharingan that will help us. Gai, you are a taijutsu master and with Kakashi here, both of you can become a deadly duo. Kurenai, your Genjutsu will hide us from the enemy when we are inside the territory. Shikamaru, you are the strategist. Hinata and Hanabi, you will be the eyes of this team. Kiba and Akamaru will be the nose for this group. Sakura and Yakumo, you both are medic-nin. Satsuki and Sasuke, both of your Sharingan can help us to gather information as much as we could from the enemies." Naruto said as he crossed his arms on his chest. "I also will bring Obito since he has a slight chance to fight Eto."
"That is the reason. Naruto, please brief the mission."
Naruto nodded his head at Minato and placed a map on the table that he drew. He then said,
"Our mission is to raid Izumi's base that located at Amegakure. This building is heavily guarded by low to mid-jonin level of Ame-nin that you all will deal and Demons that Obito and I will slay. Our objective is to retrieve a blueprint that located somewhere inside this base and once we get it, destroyed the entire base."
"Are you sure you can face the Demons? I am not saying that you are weak but I don't believe you can face them let alone Eto." Hanabi spoke to Naruto.
"Girl, at your age I almost kill Eto. What makes you think I can't beat her right now when I used to make her kneel before me?"
Everyone silent. They all shocked with what Naruto said as he rolled the map and placed it inside his pocket of the customized Yami flak jacket. So, the rumor about the Dark Knight almost end the Mother of the Demons' life is true after all.
"For this mission, I will be the leader. Any of you who disobey or question my leadership skill, I will kick you out of this group or leave you to die at the hands of the Demons, understand?"
His words earned a loud hai, taicho which made the Yami-nin and Minato smiled while Naruto reminded of the incident four years ago. He clenched his fist tightly and said with a serious tone.
"If any of you face a powerful enemy and can't defeat him or her. Run away, do not engage the enemy. I don't want the blood of my comrades on my hands again."
The Konoha-nin except for Kakashi and Minato were confused with his words and looked at each other before nodded. Minato then immediately dismissed them while Naruto told them to wait for him at the gate, leaving Naruto, Mizuki, Marida and Minato.
"Here, take this. You know what to do with it." Naruto said as he took out a hiraishin kunai which surprised Minato and gave to the three of them, making the Yondaime more surprise. "Just channel your chakra and I will be there immediately."
They nodded their head as Naruto left the office, heading towards the gate. Minato then inspected the kunai and amazed at the quality of the blade and the handle. Just by his simple observation, this kunai is probably made by not just an ordinary blacksmith.
"It was made by Katagiri Kazuya if you want to know."
Minato stunned and looked at Mizuki, "The head clan of Katagiri Clan? How did Naruto know him?"
"He owed me a favour and repaid it by training Naruto in Kenjutsu. Took him just a month to complete the training." replied Mizuki to the smiling Minato who is really proud of Naruto.
Meanwhile
"Everyone ready?" asked Naruto to his team who nodded their head. "Once we reach the borderline of Ame, Hinata, Hanabi, use your eyes to detect any hidden enemies."
They then left the village but during their journey, they encountered a mysterious man wearing a Hyokotto mask, carrying weapons which alerted them except Naruto and Obito.
"Took you so long, Haganezuka." said Naruto to the man, making Konoha-nin to look at him. "It's alright, this guy is a friend of mine."
"Kazuya sent me this to you. That bastard ruined my peaceful sleep for this." he said to Naruto with angry tone as he gave two pair of katana with black handle that have a circular shaped with four slight indentations, with a black center, golden border and dark scabbard with red outline. "The Nichirin Katana."
Naruto took it and unsheathed the weapons and stared at the silver blade of the weapons. Suddenly, it turned into black which made everyone confused except for Haganezuka.
"Uhm… Why is it black?" asked Satsuki to Haganezuka.
"Naruto, whatever you going to do after this. Don't try to get yourself kill. Black color is considered a bad omen for Katagiri and if Kazuya or Kazumi see this, they will freak out." the masked man said to Naruto who nodded his head and placed the weapons on his hips with a black sash. "To answer your question, Uchiha, a black Nichirin Sword is considered as a bad omen because those who possess it die at a very young age."
Everyone widened their eyes at Naruto and gave a concern look which he said, "A lot of people said that to me and in the end, they are the one who die."
Haganezuka chuckled and unsealed a scroll that caused a pair of giant dark cleavers that connected by the golden hilt with a metal chain to appear, stunning everyone including Obito due to the size. The cleavers have a notch and the end of the sharp blade with dark handle and white 鬼滅殺 kanji on it.
"I created them and it have a very large amount of explosive power. Make sure you wipe that bitch with those cleavers."
Naruto smiled and thanked Haganezuka who waved at him and disappeared in a smoke. Naruto then wrapped the cleaves with a cloth and placed it on his back before he ordered his team to move.
"Is the process done?"
"Shall we see?"
Eto asked Izumi and smiled when the door of secret room before them was slowly opened, revealing a man wearing a mask with two filters, a dark tattered hooded garment and black pants inside the room. She analysed his scaly reptilian-like demonic arms before gave a smile to Eto who grinned as the naked woman rushed at him and hugged him.
"You know what to do don't you? Kami Izunia." she asked as she gave a kiss to the mask and seductively licked the blood that flowing from his ash grey neck.
The man known as Kami Izunia nodded his head and said,
"Kill… Namikaze… Uzumaki… Naruto…"
And done. For the upcoming chapters will have massive fight between Naruto and the Demons. I will make sure the fight is intense and serious.
In case you guys wondering about the weapons, they were based on Yoriichi's Nichirin Katana and Uzui's Nichirin Cleaves. I also took an inspiration from Red Frame Kai Astray that have two katana.
