Chapter 1
BatGirl P.O.V
I was beaten far worse and had to move a lot earlier than most college kids. Had Dick's help. Only him and Bruce knew why. No one else did and they were like family to me. Jim found out(Jim Gordan and she now calls him by his name)found out my identity as BatGirl and beat me far worse decideing I deserved it.
I opened the door to the apartment. It was cozy and had a nice kitchen with a coffee theme and some nice comfort to it. It had a nice home-like appearance where I felt safe.
Pamela was on the phone and looked up. "Hi Red. Am ordering pizza. Your favorite as well. Harley is working a bit late."she said. Heard the 2 were now dateing and Harley finally got over Joker and told him to fuck off. He probably hit her one too many times. I had fallen for both girls and had little to no choice but to move in with them. I was bisexual and it was another reason for Jim's abuse.
He thought a Bi superhero was wrong. "I'm going to unpack."
Ivy P.O.V
I glanced at her over the phone. There were a lot more bruises than from when we used to always hang out and go after people who disrespected plant life. No way could Red get those from being Bat Girl. She was too athletic and she used to take gymastics. The commish used to have her training non-stop for that shit which I now deeply regret since she's kicked my ass with that. She was also way more careing than other heros and actually gave a shit!
-Flashback-
We were at Arkham and she checked up on us as BatGirl. "Are things going ok for you guys?" she asked. "They moved me into a room with it would help and make us do a lot better." Harley answered. "I know and I asked for another therapist to be here since Hugo Strange was fired due to his experiments. Her name is Clara." she said. We both had agreed just happy it was someone else and that the idiot who didn't care was gone.
-End of Flashback-
She was also friends with Kara who gave a shit about metahumans that were labeled as insaine. Kara was now dateing Livewire. Her cousin wasn't too happy about it and no longer talked to Kara due to this. Harley and both loved Barbara and were at the moment a couple but wanted Barbara in our group as well. "I'll tell you when the pizza arrives." I called.
BatGirl P.O.V
Harley arrived about thirty minutes later. I know she tried dateing Dick but it didn't last. "You're class didn't start yet?" she asked. I planned to be a detective something that Jim was against. Bruce told me he was proud of me and to go for it which made me happy. "I plan to be a detective so I am takeing several phyich courses." I answered. "You'll be awsome and this also means we'll be seeing a lot of each other on campus. I'm also going back." Harley said.
"Why?" I asked.
Harley P.O.V
"Society took away my phychology papers and stuff and I have to graduate college again to become a therapist if I want to continue the job. That is like my dream. I love helping people. It was why I stayed with Jack for so long. He cracked during the last time because he likes someone else and fell apart crying." I said. "I figured. It is probably Bruce. Knowticed him looking depressed lately and people that smile the most have a lot to hide." Ivy said. "Bruce is like a dad to me though." Barbara said.
"Pretty sure Dick feels the same."
"Guess you do have family even if your real family doesn't act like such Red." Pam said. She had seen the abuse since highschool when we were childhood friends.
