"Mother..." Bela looked up at the tall woman in front of them. "We cannot just leave you when they are coming here!"

"You can and you will." Alcina's large hand settled on her shoulder. "I do not want to worry for your sisters while all this is going down."

"So instead we'll have to worry about you!?" Cassandra snarled, cradling the bowl with their youngest sister. Only her family could tell that her trembling came from something that was not quite anger.

"No." The older matriarch knelt down on the ground, pulling them all close to her. "Do have some faith in your old mother. I will be fine. But I just want to be certain you will be as well. They will come here, of that there is no doubt... I do not want any of you here if they manage to do so." She was large enough to encase them all in one tight hug. "Keep your sisters safe, draga mea." It was unclear whom she was adressing with that, but she might well be adressing all of them at once.

Rising to her full height when they heard someone knock on the front-door, they watched in silence as Donna slipped inside and joined them. The Dollmaker's clothes were heavy with water, torrents pouring down outside.

"Now go, dragii mei." She started herding them to the door. "Go and hurry."

Bela winced at her mother's face, drawn tight with some emotion she could not name, but was very certain she had never seen on it before. "Yes, mother."

With her acquiescense, it seemed the resistance of her sisters faded as well and soon all five of them were rushing down the paths in the forest surrounding the castle. The slam of the castle-gates closing behind her still echoed in her head, reverberating in her skull. Cassandra was carrying Ereina, while Frederika somehow kept up on her own, one small hand closed in Daniela's just to be sure.

"Where the hell are we supposed to go?" The youngest of the triplets demanded of her older sister. "Are we supposed to just... hang out in the forest?"

"We'll go to one of the other Lord's places." She suggested, looking around in an attempt to determine the best course of action. It would probably be better than the forest, since those places had defenses and they'd know everything was safe once the Lord in question returned home. "Split up. Daniela, you take Frederika the long way to the Reservoir. Cassandra take the short way. I'll be swarming to keep an eye on things."

"No." Her younger sister threw one last longing look back towards their home, before looking up at her eldest sister. Above them, lightning arced through the skies and thunder roared as if to accentuate that statement.

"No?" Bela looked down, golden eyes narrowing at the gleam that seems to have overtaken the older Nymph.

"Fight."

The mercenary that tried to empty something distinctly cannon-like his his face died before they could pull the trigger. Karl only barely bothered with paying attention to it, until he noticed the buzzing all around them.

"What are you doing here!?" He roared, at least one of his nieces now playing support to him and his Soldats. "Get back to your mother!" Had they seriously left Alcina on her own!?

"She ordered us gone." Cassandra's voice had a disturbingly broken quality to it. "We had to obey."

Oh for fuck's sake, did no one in this village ever hear of rebellious children? It certainly seemed like he was the only one who had even contemplated it at some point.

"Great." So not only was his big sister the target, she was a now practically defenseless target if someone managed to get past this line. Surely Donna would not be that much help, certainly not in this rain which would be washing most of her pollen from the air. "Where are the others?" Had she left anyone at her side beyond their younger sister?

The brown-haired triplet only briefly formed, just long enough to shape one arm to gesture to the rest of the field. "Somewhere." Sonuva... Well, more like daughteruva, but that just did not flow as nicely.

"Even the...?" He did not need to wait for an answer, as something amber glittered in the light of lightning and muzzle flashes both. It was the shape of his eldest sister with just as fearsome claws cutting through raindrops themselves. Frederika had certainly chosen an interesting form for the situation, as attention was drawn to her at once upon her appearance.

While he could not be entirely certain with the helmets and masks, it felt like the humans started almost exclusively focusing on the apparition. His hammer shattered a spine, sending the head in a gorgeous arc into the distance. Sadly, it seemed that for every enemy they felled, two more appeared from yet more vehicles that were arriving still.

He probably did not want to know how the area would look afterwards, regardless of who won this.

A bright yellow glow came from his left, before an explosion send quite a few of their enemies flying. Some did not get up from where they landed, but disturbingly many clambered back to their feet.

Glancing over his shoulders briefly, he saw Mother Miranda floating several metres above the ground, glowing balls forming around her and exploding when she send them against their enemies.

"Would you look at that..." It was time for the big guns, apparently. Now, where was Ereina? He could spot the triplets once in a while, when they appeared to slit someone's throat or shove a gun off-target and Frederika after Mother Miranda was the largest presence on their side, but the youngest Dimitrescu?

Then again, what could she do in this rain when water seemed to be a weakness of hers?
