Alcina reclined on her favourite chair, watching the snow being whipped against the window opposite her. Her daughters, all six of them, were gathered around her, the fireplace roaring to ensure none of them would suffer ill-effects of the cold.
Ereina had claimed her lap, being a shapeless blob as usual. Frederika seemed to be trying to figure out how excessive heat would affect her creations, a small indeterminate human wandering close to the flames. Grania was amusing the youngest of her older triplets by combining various shapes, which already had resulted in some kind of abomination where Donna's body had Heisenberg's head and Salvatore's tentacles...
Their mother felt she'd better send for more wine, if it was any indication of what else she'd see this evening.
"Are you certain, mother?" Bela was sitting at her feet, leaning against her legs.
"Yes." The eldest Dimitrescu reached down to rest her hand on her daughter's shoulder. "I... cannot risk a repeat."
"Can we come with?" Cassandra sat ensconed on the chair beside her.
"You'd actually give me the room to be able to leave alone?" Their Matriarch managed a soft chuckle.
"No." A chorus of six voices answered her... well, five voices and a drawn-out whistle they had long learned to interpret as a negative answer, answered her.
"I suppose you can more easily get places." Nine foot tall giants were not subtle, not ever. "Very well, come summer we're going on a family-trip."
