Chapter 5: Breaking Through! Surpass The Elite!

Levy McGarden stood in the large area of the Time Nest, somehow managing to lose Gajeel and Juvia in such a large space. The pregnant mage tried to catch her breath from all the running, she wasn't that far into her pregnancy to be this tired. Though, she was never the most athletic of her Guildmates.

"What is this place anyway?" She asked out loud.

"This is the Time Nest," A feminine voice answered.

Turning around Levy saw a short woman(Somehow even shorter than her) walking towards her. Not being able to control her insatiable need for knowledge, Levy opened her mouth to talk.

"Time Nest? What exactly is a Time Nest?" She asked, curiously.

"Isn't it polite to say your name first before asking somebody questions?" The Supreme Kai of Time placed a hand on her hip.

"Ah! Sorry about that. My name is Levy McGarden from Fairy Tail," Levy replied.

"From Fairy Tail? Trunks must've been fast in getting back to your guild," The Kai said, impressed by her employee's speed.

"Um...my boyfriend and I were chasing one of our friends through here and we kinda ran him over…" Levy revealed, embarrassed. The Supreme Kai of Time's face changed into a deadpanned one at the new information.

"Ugh...Trunks…" The short Kai pinched the bridge of her nose. Levy sweatdropped at the woman's reaction, which brought another question to her attention.

"Who exactly are you, by the way?" Levy asked.

"Me!? I'm just the most beautiful, spectacular, talented, and intelligent Kai of them all! I'm The Supreme Kai of Time! Trunks' boss!" The petite woman posed dramatically while TokiToki landed on her head. Huffing in annoyance at the bird constantly ruining her moment, she started raging.

"You damn stupid bird! Quit getting in the way, damn you!" She swatted at the bird agrily. TokiToki hooted as it flapped its wings at the small Kai, happy that it ruined the moment.

Levy got a sense of deja vu from watching the scene in front of her. "Kinda like Lucy and Happy," She giggled a bit.

BRIIIINNNGGGG

"Huh?" Levy turned around to the giant vault that was in the Time Nest. She blinked a couple of times, and advanced towards the Time Vault. When she reached the door to the vault, she saw another woman standing there.

The woman had a curvaceous figure with long white hair, light blue skin, and purple eyes. She had a golden infinity sign shaped hair accessory that covers the back of both sides of her head. She wears a red and black skin tight bodysuit that has a V shaped hole around her stomach, and has slits on the bottom half, exposing the bottom of her breasts. She wears a white open leg cape that is jagged at the bottom, and red and black high heels. In her hands was a brown staff with two sharp golden points on each end.

"Who are you?" Levy asked, reaching to touch the mysterious woman. However to her shock her hand went right through her body as if it was transparent. The mysterious woman turned around to look Levy right in the eyes.

"Ah ah ah. No touching," And in a flash of purple light the woman was gone. Leaving a stunned Levy standing alone in the vault. Below her feet a scroll was glowing with purple and black energy.

CRASH

"RRRRAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHH!" With a mighty roar Natsu shot back into the air. Lightning and flames coursing all over his body, his face twisted in fury. Raditz floated in the air, bits of ice and scorch marks littered around his body.

"You just don't know how to stay down, do you!?" Raditz charged up a sparking energy blast in his hand. "Saturday Crash!" He fired the blast directly at the approaching Dragon Slayer.

"And you don't know when to shut up! Lightning Fire Dragon's Firing Hammer!" Natsu shot a powerful strike punch at the approaching blast, creating a large explosion in the air.

Raditz watched with glee as Natsu was sent flying back towards the ground once more. Leaving his back open for Gray to strike.

"Ice Devil's Zeroth Long Sword!" Gray slashed Raditz in the back, causing the Saiyan to cry out from the intense cold. The strike left a deep cut within the armor, leaving Raditz's skin unprotected from the intense cold. Veins appeared on Raditz's forehead as he spun around to face Gray.

He extended an open palm directly at Gray, releasing a powerful blast point blank. The Devil-Ice user was sent flying as his sword was incinerated by the powerful attack. Raditz prepared to launch another blast at Gray, until another annoying pest interrupted him once more.

"Lighting Fire Dragon's Sword Horn!" Natsu headbutted Raditz in his back.

Pain erupted in the Saiyan from the combination of the intense cold, heat, and lighting in his back. Rage swept through his body swiftly, flipping his body over Natsu's to send a hammer strike into the Slayer's back.

"Gack!" Natsu cried out and impacted the ground harshly. He didn't stay down for long, and got back to his feet.

"Natsu!" Gray ran up to his friend/rival, preventing the Dragon Slayer from charging back in.

"Huh? What do you want, Gray?" Natsu asked.

"We can't beat this guy one-on-one, so we need to work together," Gray said.

"Tsk! I got him on the ropes already," Natsu argued.

"Dammit, you idiot! I have a plan to beat him, but you have to listen!" Gray barked back.

"Why should I!? I finished my fight first anyway! I don't need to listen to 2nd place!" Natsu grinned. A tick mark appeared on Gray's forehead at Natsu's immaturity.

"Listen, dumbass! If you want to keep your promise to save Gohan, then we need to work together and beat this guy fast!" Gray explained. Bringing up that promise got Natsu's attention. The prideful Dragon huffed in annoyance.

"Fine! What's your plan anyway?" Natsu asked.

Seeing that Natsu is willing to listen, Gray began to explain. "Our previous attacks are having an effect on him, but he's strong enough to brush them off. What we need to do is aim for a single spot to break through. A weak point in his armor that we can shatter to get to the skin. My ice is sharp enough to cut through his armor, you just need to weaken him enough for it to break through his skin," Gray explained.

"So, I just need to hit him really hard? Good, I was planning on doing that anyway," Natsu grinned and started to power up.

Raditz's feet touched the ground in front of them, he was grinning from ear to ear. "Whatever you insects are planning is futile! I'll kill you where you stand!" Raditz charged up two purple beams of energy in his hands. "Double Sunday!"

Seeing the approaching beams of energy both Gray and Natsu puffed up their chests.

"Lightning Fire Dragon's Roar!"

"Ice Devil's Rage!"

Both breath attacks clashed with the ki in an intense struggle for dominance. Raditz pushed harder to deal the killing blow on the wizards. In response both Natsu and Gray pushed back as hard as they could. In a mixture of output energy, the attacks created a large explosion, rocking the ground around them.

In the little space pod, Son Gohan continued to cry as the earth shook around him.

Raditz coughed from the that had spawned all around the battlefield. Swiping his hand across the air, he cleared the dust in front of him to see Natsu appear directly in front of him.

"Lightning Fire Dragon's Firing Hammer!" Natsu struk Raditz right in his chest. Sending a large wave of lighting and flames to course throughout Raditz's body. He didn't stop there as he sent another firing hammer at the same spot. Raditz quickly gripped Natsu's wrist and lifted the wizard into the air.

He slammed Natsu into the ground repeatedly in anger. " ' . !" Raditz roared each word as he slammed Natsu into the ground.

Not wanting to stay as a human hammer for long, Natsu released a powerful wave of lightning and flames right as Raditz lifted upwards. "Lightning Fire Dragon's Roasting Bath!"

The scalding temperature was enough to force Raditz to release Natsu. Just as the Fire Dragon landed on his feet he released a point-blank Dragon Roar into Raditz face.

The Saiyan was sent flying directly towards the direction of Gray.

"Ice Devil's Zeroth Destruction Fist!" Covering both his fists were ice gauntlets and sent a powerful barrage of punches at Raditz. Each strike breaking apart his armor, and freezing the Saiyan's body more and more.

"RAAGGGHHH!" Raditz caught both of Gray's fists and sent a devastating knee strike into the Ice Devil User's chin. Momentarily destabilizing Gray, which was all Raditz needed to send a powerful kick into Gray's chest, sending the ice user rolling across the ground.

"Lightning Fire Dragon's Wing Attack!"

Raditz cringed at the strike, he swiftly turned around and kicked Natsu away. Which wasn't enough to stop the Dragon Slayer from coming right back at him. Lighting/Flame punches entered his vision, and Raditz retaliated with his own fast strikes.

Soon both flew into the air in a mixture of purple, yellow, and red energy. Raditz wailed on Natsu, not allowing the Dragon Slayer to get any sense of breathing room. Opening both of his palms, Raditz released a powerful blast point-blank at Natsu. An explosion occurred on contact with the Dragon Slayer's body. When the explosion cleared, Natsu hung in the air with Raditz's hand gripped tightly around his neck.

The Saiyan grinned at his victory. "Did you pathetic worms really believe you could defeat me!? ME!? RADITZ! A SAIYAN ELITE! YOU FOOLS NEVER STOOD A CHANCE!" Raditz laughed loudly as if losing his own sanity. So focused on his own "victory" he failed to notice Natsu's hand grip around his wrist.

"Fire Dragon's Grip Strike."

"Wha-"

BOOM

A large explosion occurred in the air, engulfing both Raditz and Natsu. When it cleared both were seen falling towards the ground, however Raditz still had his hand around Natsu's throat.

"I'm going to enjoy ripping out your throat!" Raditz cried out as they sailed towards the ground. He was absolutely beyond pissed, he couldn't believe that he had been pushed this far by these two mysterious fighters with weird powers.

Natsu was beaten and exhausted, but his drive to fight was ever still present within his eyes. His hand reached out to grab a hold of Raditz's face, but he missed and ended up grabbing something else.

The Saiyan Elite froze at the painful sensation that flowed through his body, his grip on Natsu lessened greatly. He craned his neck to see Natsu gripping onto his tail, tightly. "D-D-DAMN YOU!"

Noticing that he was no longer in Raditz's grip, Natsu felt a burst of renewed energy course through him. "Fire Dragon's Talons!" Natsu unleashed a devastating kick to Raditz's face, then swung around the Saiyan, while still holding onto his tail. With their current positions while falling towards the ground, Raditz was left completely defenseless.

"GRAAAAYYYY!"

"Ice Devil's Zeroth Destruction Bow!" Gray(Who had regained consciousness) released the ice arrow at blinding speeds directly at Raditz.

The Saiyan Elite saw the arrow coming, but with Natsu restricting his movements there was nothing he could do, but scream in pure rage. "DAMN YOOOUUUU!"

BSSCCCCHHHH

The arrow struck home, piercing through Raditz, and bursting into an array of ice. Natsu released the tail right as both of them finally impacted the ground. Gray rushed over to Natsu to make sure he wasn't dead. He was relieved to find the Dragon Slayer sitting up, and breathing heavily. His focus aimed directly at Raditz.

When they didn't see him move, they smirked in victory. Natsu hopped to his feet as if he hadn't been hurt at all.

"Alright! Now, to grab Gohan and give him to Goku!" Natsu ran to the Saiyan pod.

"At least it's over," Gray sighed, letting the black marking recede from his body.

"I...I'm..n...not done y..yet…"

Both of them turned around to see Raditz standing on his feet, the Saiyan had the large ice arrow still in his body. Somehow managing to defy the odds. "Even if I die...I'll take both of you along with Kakarot with me!" Raditz spat.

Gray charged up another ice attack, but was taken by surprise when Natsu had run past him, flames blazing around him.

"YOU'RE DONE, RADITZ! FIRE DRAGON'S SECRET ARTS - CRIMSON LOTUS: EXPLODING FLAME BLADE!" Natsu unleashed a devastating torrent of flames that engulfed Raditz entire form. The Saiyan Elite screamed in agony, before falling to the ground. His eyes white and body sizzling from the heat.

Natsu staggered, losing his balance. Gray quickly grabbed his friend, preventing the Dragon Slayer from hitting the ground.

"Wanna grab, Gohan now?"

"Y-Yeah.."

However, before the two could walk towards the space pod, they were engulfed in a bright light and expunged from the pocket in time.

Levy was taken aback in shock when an injured Natsu and Gray landed on the ground from the bright light. She had been brought to the Time Machine Station by The Supreme Kai of Time when she was told that her friends were there.

She was going to rush over to check on them, but suddenly she felt a raging and moving force approaching their position.

"GGGGGRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY!"

Juvia Lockser arrived on the scene, kicking Natsu out of the way and hugging Gray tightly. Much to the ice user's protest. "GRAY! JUVIA WAS SO WORRIED ABOUT YOU!" Juvia cried. She noticed how beat up he looked and started crying harder. "WHO DID THIS TO YOU! I SWEAR JUVIA WILL MAKE THEM PAY!"

"I'm...fine...Juvia...promise," Gray struggled to reply. Juvia was hugging him very tightly.

Levy and The Supreme Kai of Time just sweatdropped at the scene in front of them. However, something else caught Levy's attention.

"Uh, Juvia? Where's Gajeel?" Levy asked.

Juvia broke out of her crying to look over at her short friend. She then looked around and also noticed that the Iron Dragon Slayer was missing from the group.

"Huh? Juvia wonders where Gajeel went," Juvia answered.

"And just who the hell are you?" Gajeel glared. His body is covered in skin tight iron armor and a shadow aura. He was breathing heavily, and his clothes were torn from an earlier assault.

In front of him was a short man with spiky hair that pointed straight up towards the air. The man wore dark grey tights with white and gold armor covering his upper body. He wore white gloves and white boots. On the top right breast of the armor there was a weird symbol drawn on it. Unlike the Iron Dragon Slayer, he was unharmed completely.

The man was glaring equally as hard at the Iron Dragon Slayer. "I could ask you the same thing, fool," Vegeta replied.

NOTE: Yes, Gajeel encountered Vegeta in Conton City. There is a reason for this, but you'll find that out later. Goku and Vegeta will both be in their ROF outfits, since that's what they wear in the game anyway. Did the ending of this fight kinda replicate Gray and Natsu vs Mard Gear? Yes. This will be the only time it ever happens in this story.
