Chapter 8: Fairy Tail Arrives! What's the Plan!?

Team Natsu with Gajeel, Levy, and Juvia followed The Supreme Kai of Time into the Time Nest. Though they were more focused on the events that took place moments prior.

"So, what exactly happened before we arrived?" Lucy asked Levy.

The petite blue mage started chuckling nervously as she thought about the previous situation.

"GAJEEEEEL!" Natsu called out into the city.

"GAJEEEEEL! Juvia followed Natsu's example.

Behind the two were their three companions shaking their heads at the scene in front of them. Currently they are searching Conton City for Gajeel after realizing that the Iron Dragon Slayer got lost during his chase for Juvia.

"Is there any way to find him easier? I'd rather those two quit making a scene," The Supreme Kai of Time noticed that people were beginning to stare. As a Kai and owner of this city it would be unbecoming of rumors to be spread about her.

"Well if we had something that belonged to Gajeel, Natsu could sniff him out. Dragon Slayers have enhanced senses after all," Levy explained.

"Do you have anything that belongs to him?" Gray asked her. The blue word mage reached into her bag and pulled out a black notebook.

"This is where Gajeel writes his song lyrics. I hold it for him, since he can't fit it into his pockets," Levy held the book. Suddenly it was yanked out of her hands by Natsu. The Fire Slayer took a couple of whiffs of the book before gagging.

"Ugh! Smells like Gajeel!"

"Because it's his notebook, dumbass!"

"Say that again you Ice-Nudist!"

"Who are you calling a Nudist!?" Gray asked, feeling insulted.

"Uh, Gray? Your pants are missing," Levy pointed out to the ice mage.

"Huh!?" Gray began looking around for his pants.

The Supreme Kai of Time had a small nose bleed from seeing Gray in his underwear again. Though, her nose bleed quickly disappeared when she noticed Juvia's murderous glare pointed at her.

"Stay away from Juvia's Gray!"

"U-Understood…"

"Anyway! Can we please get to finding Gajeel!" Levy interrupted all of them.

"Yeah yeah, I got it," Natsu began leading them to where Gajeel's scent was leading to. Where they arrived was the Mushroom District within the Conton City area.

Natsu raised an eyebrow. "I could've sworn that his scent ended here," Natsu said.

"Are you sure that your nose isn't broken?" Gray asked.

"Hey! My nose is never wrong about anything!" Natsu shouted, offended.

BOOM!

Everyone's eyes shifted to the top of one of the mountains in the District. From the large cloud of smoke a body came flying out, and crashed into the ground. Everyone ran towards the crater and were shocked by the sight. Inside of the crater was a battered and bruised Gajeel.

"GAJEEL!" Levy shrieked and she climbed down into the crater. She tried to pick him up, but her pregnant body would only let her do so much, so Natsu and Gray lifted his body out for her.

"Gajeel! What happened!?" Gray asked, concerned.

"I did."

The mages and Kai looked up to see Vegeta floating down. His face set into his usual glare and arms folded across his chest. There were no traces of a single scratch on him.

"V-Vegeta!?" The Supreme Kai of Time panicked. "Of all the people in the world, it had to be him!" She cried mentally.

Placing Gajeel's body on the ground, Natsu and Gray both got into fighting stances. Something that made The Supreme Kai of Time panic even more.

"What's the deal, pal!? Who the hell gives you the right to hurt our friend!?" Natsu's body began to radiate heat.

"The fool interrupted my training," Vegeta responded simply.

"That doesn't give you the right to attack others! What are you, some kind of royalty!?" Gray shouted.

"Hmph, wouldn't you like to know?" Vegeta chuckled a bit.

"If you wanna find something funny, then how about my fist! Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!" Natsu sent a flame infused punch towards Vegeta. However, the Prince caught the punch in his palm.

"You're right, it was funny," Vegeta released Natsu's fist and sent a strong left into the Fire Dragon's gut. Natsu folded over and was sent flying back towards the city.

"Ice-Make: Ice Bringer!" Gray's swords were halted by Vegeta's hands. The Saiyan Prince tightened his grip and shattered the ice.

"Wha-" Gray didn't have time to question it as Vegeta punched him in the face. The Ice-Make user was sailing towards the city. Vegeta trailed after his retreating body.

"WE GOTTA STOP THEM!" The Supreme Kai of Time freaked out. This was her worst fear come to life...well other than Natsu meeting Goku. That has to be avoided at all costs. The short God began running with Juvia and Levy carrying an injured Gajeel.

"And well, you guys know the rest," Levy finished telling her tale.

Erza glared at the three injured boys who were grumbling amongst themselves. "You three need to learn more self-control! Speak before jumping into a fight!" She reprimanded like a mother.

"Yes ma'am," They grumbled.

"Yes ma'am!" Wendy copied.

"N-No, Wendy...she wasn't talking to you," Lucy sweat dropped.

When they walked through the entrance portal to the Time Nest, the Fairy mages and The Supreme Kai of Time could only stand there agape at the scene.

"F-Father! There's no need to be hostile!" Trunks panicked.

"Shut it, boy! This feline dared to throw a fish into my face!" Vegeta was being held back by Trunks. The Saiyan Prince tried to attack Happy who was happily chewing on a fish.

"I apologized tho," Happy's voice was muffled by the fish. Beside him were Lily and Carla, both watching the scene with hesitation and wonder.

"How is he so calm?" Carla questioned.

"Because he's eating a fish," Lily answered.

On the other end of the Time Nest was the Strauss Siblings. Lisanna held Toki Toki in her hands, petting the bird gently.

"You like the headpats, don't you?" Lisanna asked, smiling.

"Whoo! Whoo!" Toki Toki looked as if he was on heaven.

"Aw! He's so adorable for such a big guy!" Mira also started patting his head, eliciting more happy coos from the bird.

Elfman had a hesitant look on his face. "C-Could I also pet him?"

"Sure!" Both Sisters replied. They pulled apart from the bird, confusing Toki Toki. His confusion ended when a large shadow appeared over his head. The bird's eyes widened when the large man's hand roughly rubbed across his head.

"He's MANLY cute!" Elfman was elated.

His sisters tilted their heads at him. "Manly cute?"

Over near the pond, the Thunder Legion were viewing Natsu and Lucy's battle with Raditz. Freed rubbed his chin in thought.

"Seems that the opponents we'll be facing this time will be stronger than our last," Freed said.

"Hmph, it won't be too much of a problem for the Thunder Legion. Right, Laxus?" Evergreen looked over to their leader. The Lightning Dragon grunted in acknowledgement, he was still watching the battle unfold.

"I hope those Demon Realm guys are strong! It'd be a shame if they're weak! Right, babies!?" Bickslow laughed. His babies cheered, agreeing with their master.

"Whatever we face doesn't matter. We'll fight and win for Fairy Tail, understand?" Laxus said.

"Yes, Laxus!" The other three members replied enthusiastically.

Near The Supreme Kai of Time's house were Makarov and an old purple man. Both old men were wearing perverted faces as they looked at dirty magazines.

Having absolutely enough of whatever was going on, The Supreme Kai of Time reeled her head back. "WHAT ARE YOU ALL DOING!?"

Everyone froze and turned their attention to the short upset God. "Who's the midget?" Laxus asked, rudely.

"MIDGET!?" She marched up into his face. Her close proximity made him back away a bit. "I'M THE FREAKING GOD IN CHARGE OF THIS PLACE, BUSTER! SHOW SOME RESPECT!" Turning away from him, her anger now directed at Trunks.

"TRUNKS! WHY DIDN'T YOU COME RIGHT HERE AFTER GETTING THEM!?" She continued to scream.

Cowering in fear of his boss' anger, Trunks slowly approached her. "I figured you were still busy with the others, so I didn't want to create too much of a cluster. So, I had them stay here for a while. And Elder Kai eventually showed up," Trunks hoped his answer was enough to quell her answer.

The small woman released a breath and calmed down her nerves. "Fine, that's a good reason. But, if anything else annoying happens today, I will lose it!" She warned.

"Hey! Vegeta, I sensed you were fighting some-Huh? Who are you guys?"

Goku felt a small foot slam into the back of his head, the Saiyan from Earth was knocked into the ground face first. Popping his head up he turned to see the glaring Goddess. "Hey! That wasn't nice at all!"

"Then, stop popping up whenever you want!" The Supreme Kai of Time yelled. Goku got up from the ground and looked at all of the mages of Fairy Tail. Team Natsu especially stared at him in shock.

"So, does anyone want to explain what's going on?" Goku asked.

"Ah! I get it now!" Goku slapped his fist into his palm.

"So, you get that this is a very delicate situation and that you need to go back to your training, right?" The Supreme Kai of Time hoped.

"Nope! This means that these guys are pretty strong! I really want to fight you guys!" Goku replied, an excited smile on his face.

"WHA-NO!" Her cries went unheard as Natsu rushed up to Goku.

"Ah yeah! I'm all fired up now! Fight me, Goku!" Natsu pumped himself up. After meeting two different versions of Goku, he was really excited to meet the actual one.

"Sure! I'm always up for a fight!" Goku replied.

Trunks interrupted before his boss could blow another gasket. "I don't think that's really wise, Goku. Team Natsu just finished up some tough fights and should use this time to recharge for now."

"Really!?" Both Natsu and Goku complained.

"Great, there's two of him," Gray sighed.

Makarov walked up beside them. "He's right, Natsu. We should use this time to get ready for the more intense battles to come."

"Exactly! Especially with the next mission for you all to handle," Elder Kai said as he walked up. A purple glowing scroll in the old man's hands. The female Kai perked up at that.

"Ah! I completely forgot about that with all the commotion that's been happening. Ugh! From what's happening in this one, you guys shouldn't head in right now," She explained.

"What do you suppose we do then?" Freed asked.

"For right now, it'll be better for you guys to get more used to Conton City and for the new guys to handle Parallel Quests of their own. It'll get you guys accustomed to fighting against certain enemies in this world," The female Kai instructed. Everyone nodded their heads at her instructions, though Goku and Natsu both frowned at it.

Mira looked around at the people present and noticed someone was missing. Lisanna turned to her sister. "What's wrong, Mira?"

"Where is Cana?" Mira asked. All of the present Fairies perked up at that question.

Where did Cana go?

"Give me another one!" Cana Alberona slammed her mug on the counter. The Card Mage had wandered off on her own in search of booze. Finding a bar, she decided to drink away for a short bit. Which meant that she planned to get drunk as hell.

"Hey! Don't forget to get me one as well!" Another woman shouted at the bartender. She had blonde hair with a red ribbon in it. She was wearing a green crop top and orange shorts. The woman turned to Cana with a pissed look.

"You sure you should be drinking here? You don't even look old enough to handle a can of beer," She sneered.

Cana gave her a confident smirk. "Please! I can down five barrels of booze faster than you can strap your bra on, Grandma!"

"Tch! Cheeky, brat! Let's see if you can keep up. Hey! Bring us 50 barrels of your strongest stuff!" The blonde shouted at the bot.

"50? Pfft! How about 100 barrels!?" Cana challenged. Her words seemed to have excited the blonde greatly.

"Now that's what I like to hear! What's your name, kid?"

"Cana. Yours?"

"Launch."

"Well then, Launch. You're about to eat your words!"

"You wish, kid!"

Both drunks watched as the bot brought forth 100 barrels of liquor each. Both females wasted no time in getting started.

NOTE: As time goes on, the cast of characters WILL increase. And I'll do side chapters(Seperate from the main story) of the FT characters exploring Conton City and meeting Dragon Ball characters. It'll be absolute chaos and Conton City is NOT ready for it at all.
